First floor of the Duplex located near University of Toledo, Jeep Plant, Promedica, and Saint Anne Mercy Hospital. Walking distance from Rite Aid, Mancy's Steakhouse, and Boyd's Candy store with vintage candies. Little Caesars a hop away along with burger king, taco bell, McDonald's, and Marco's down the road. Two different Krogers and a Target less than a mile away. All in a cozy neighborhood across from an elementary school. Bring yourself, a sense of adventure, and your pet too.

Things included: bedding, towels, full cookware and dishes, a large TV, a dedicated work space, king and queen bed, and a large dinning room table with leaflets to expand it. Parking in the back of the house, street parking, and some grass in the back yard for your pet. Only shared spaces are the laundry room in the basement and stairwell to the primary doors that are inside.

No smoking or vaping inside, please take out the trash and recycling on Monday nights if you're a long term stay, if you can please water the plant in the dining room, it's a real plant. Within 5 minutes we could be in Sylvania, Maumee, downtown or the casino. Plenty of on-street parking located on Allen st. paves the way to a bright sky colored front door entering into the vestibule of this 4 unit building. Then an antique wooden door leads to the unit itself. This 1st floor apartment was built in the 1920s. It totals about 550sf. It is not large, perfect for 1-2 people but can sleep a 3rd if needed on the living room couch.

The living room has beautiful original windows draped with blackout curtains. There is a sectional sofa, chair, ottoman and an end table with a lamp. We installed a 40 inch TCL tv. Your welcome to use our Sling streaming account which is like basic cable or use your own Netflix, Amazon, hbo account etc.

The bathroom has a tub shower combo, and a new navy vanity with porcelain top & gold faucet. We have body wash, shampoo / conditioner for your use. Our “tester guest” for this unit raved about how great the water pressure was and how long the hot water lasted.

The bedroom has a Queen sized bed with new memory foam mattress (med-firm). There is also an ample sized closet w/ hangers and a luggage rack. The window has a black out curtain.

Charming kitchen is located on the back side of the apartment. It has newly refinished cabinets with gold fixtures, a 4 burner electric stove, and a fridge / freezer w/ ice trays. We have also added a Brita pitcher, microwave & a small table for 2.

Very basic cooking supplies, plate ware and utensils are provided if you’d like to use them. There is also a Keurig coffee machine & some cream and sugar.

Similar to a hotel, this unit has WiFi, a blow dryer and an iron/ ironing board. Coin operated washer and dryer are available in the basement. There is a grill and picnic table in the yard for those who’d like to grill up some meals & eat outside.

You cannot beat this location, it is walkable to everything uptown maumee has to offer, just mere steps away! 5 minutes walk to the Maumee River & Sidecut metro park. Please note that the City of Maumee hosts several festivals and a weekly farmers market during summer. You may find more folks Uptown & more limited parking during those days.

Just a few minute drive to Perrysburg, I -475. 20 minutes from UT, UTMC, Downtown Toledo.

Although your apartment would be totally private the building is shared with 3 other units, there is an apartment above this one. This building is 100 years old. It is not soundproof from neighboring units. We do have a sound machine available for guest use just in case.

Speaking of the building being 100 years old- it has radiator heat. There is a thermostat located by the front door. The unit stays very warm, but the radiator does make a dull noise when on. We have not had complaints about this from any residents. Come May we put in window ac units.

The apartment is non smoking including vaping and marijuana.

Regarding pets, unfortunately we only allow cats here. If you’re traveling with a dog all of our other Airbnbs are dog friendly & most have fenced in yards.

The apartment is spacious, and the size of a small house at 1,100 square feet; it can easily accommodate a family. Only the entranceway is common space.

There are two main entrances: 1 through the living room and 1 through the kitchen. The living room has an ornamental fireplace with a tv stand next to it. The kitchen has plenty of cooking basics: regular pots and pans, cast iron and copper pots and pans as well.

Both the kitchen and living room connect to the dining room, which is currently set up as a game room with arcade games and a golf trainer.
The dining room leads to a short hallway with the small bedroom on the left and master bedroom on the right. The small bedroom is outfitted with a gamer chair, filing cabinet and paper shredder. The master bedroom has a large dresser for clothes.

Guests are provided with a direct maintenance number should maintenance be needed during a stay. Unfortunately, it is not wheelchair accessible. 😢

1887 building in the heart of Historic Maumee, Ohio, located in a quiet safe neighborhood. Quiet building. First floor front and back private entrance. Wood flooring throughout; no carpet to harbor irritants that may set off allergies or asthma.

One block walk to uptown restaurants and shops. Walk to Side Cut Metropark, Maumee River, library, and five churches. Very clean. Less than 9 miles to downtown Toledo.

The apartment features a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bedroom with two single beds (DreamCloud Premier Hybrid mattresses). You'll also find a walk-in closet, dresser, and a bathroom with a shower (no tub).

This unit includes driveway parking, with additional parking available on the street.

This charming building is over 135 years old and contains a total of four units, including one above. While the building is quiet and peaceful, please note that it is not soundproof.

This apartment features radiant heat for cozy warmth, and on chilly single-digit nights, we use an electric heater for added comfort. During warmer months, a window AC unit keeps the space cool and comfortable.
