Celebrating 55 Years! Originally launched in 1970 by Mary Sutphin, The Queen Elizabeth House was purchased by the current owners in late 2024 marking the 55th anniversary! The most recent updates included the addition of many new features including a newly renovated full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and massive granite island. Newly remodeled bathrooms, island, historic, and locally crafted décor, custom quad queen bunk room, games, high-speed enterprise WIFI, HBO Max, Netflix, and streaming YouTube TV service are among some of the upgrades. The Queen Elizabeth keeps the title of the nicest rental home on the island and best place for entertaining! It features a large open living room, dining room and game area. Welcome to Middle Bass Island! This newly remodeled Villa is great for a family fun get away where you can explore the island(s) or for a couple (or two or three) wanting to get away. Located on St. Hazards Resort, there's a community pool, community hot tub, restaurant & Tiki bar within walking distance. Sleeps 7 in beds or 8 (1 on fold out bed). Beds are comfortable and newer! Full deck area for entertaining or hanging out w/ a fire pit in the yard area. 4 restaurants and Historic Lonz Winery museum with the Island Grind Coffee Shop & State Park are all within walking distance. Brand new flooring throughout Villa, new cabinets, completely remodeled kitchen with custom beautiful Bass Island counter tops. Bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, all new bed linens, comfortable new pillows, Gas Grill, coffee, spices, basic condiments, complimentary 1 Gallon of water (the resort has well water, we would recommend bringing water or buying water at the General Store) and other amenities included. The General Store is a 6 minute walk if you need to purchase anything. The kitchen is fully functional where you could prepare a lot of meals if you prefer to eat in or outside on the spacious deck.

Hazzards resort has laundry facilities, extra shower facilities, extensive indoor/outdoor lounge with scheduled entertainment.

JF. Walleyes Restaurant https://www.jfwalleyes.net and the General Store https://www.facebook.com/mbigeneralstore/ are within walking distance - 5 to 10 minutes. Walleye's has good food and a beautiful atmosphere with a Blue Lagoon where you can cool off, listen to music or just relax by the Blue Lagoon in the sun. JF. Walleyes also has a boutique where you can purchase souvenirs and Middle Bass Island clothing.

JF. Walleye's & Hazards resort both have golf cart rentals. Neither place will accept reservations for golf cart rentals, but they have several golf carts for rent.

There’s a water taxi for trips from Middle Bass to Put-N-Bay. Inter-Island Charters is located next to the Miller Ferry boat. They post their weekly schedule on Facebook.

Miller Ferry Boat is the only Ferry from the mainland (Catawba Is/Port Clinton) that comes to Middle Bass Island. You can bring a vehicle, but you must schedule it ahead of time - at least two weeks before your trip. If you do not want to bring a vehicle, our Villa is within walking distance to all 3 restaurants/stores on the island. It's .82 miles away (20 minute walk) and you can cut through Lonz Winery State Park & walk along the State Marina to save time. If you walk, we would recommend a rolling suitcase and maybe a wagon, depending on how much stuff you bring. A small private "studio" or "efficiency" apartment that has one full bed and a convertible futon. All beds use full-sized sheets. Small bathroom with stall shower, dining table, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, convection oven, hot plate, blender and coffee maker. Nice deck, yard with swing and propane grill. Includes free wi-fi. SMALL MEANS SMALL: WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. Must bring sheets and towels. Includes one parking space on Aunt Jane's boutique hotel premises nearby.
The space
This efficiency apartment is perfect for a couple or close family/friends. The bed is a tight fit in the room and the bathroom is very small. Parking is nearby but not adjacent to the premises and may be on a grass area. Please note these details before booking. New staff has been hired to remedy issues noted in past reviews that were brought on by personnel shortage due to the Covid-19 pandemic (curtains have been rehung, the yard maintained, etc.).

Enter with key code. Unit is just steps from the Monument, the beach, the docks, and all the pools, shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, and other major attractions. Walk nearly everywhere in seconds; No need for a golf cart, designated driver, or cabs shuttling your group back and forth across the island.
Other things to note
Pools and spas at the Sand Bar, Blue Marlin, Splash, and Mist swim-up bars are are within steps of the unit, but not on the Aunt Jane's property itself. Island visitors are generally welcome at these attractions during normal operational hours, subject to occupancy restrictions and occasional special events. Some may impose a small cover charge depending on date and demand. There is a free-admission pool and bar at the Bay Lodging Hotel, and a kid-friendly pool (no bar, small admission charge) at the Crew’s Nest downtown.

- "This is an absolutely gorgeous property and THE BEST location on the island. If we didn't want to cruise around and sight-see, you wouldn't even need to rent a golf cart. Everything (around downtown) was a very short walk. The house is comfortable and so beautifully decorated. The backyard is a destination in itself, with so much space to hang out. We were also impressed with Dave the house manager, who met us at arrival, gave us a tour and orientation of the home and was always responsive to any of our questions. The Bayshore Resort is here to make your stay on the island enjoyable and memorable. Located on the cusp of Lake Erie, this modern waterfront property offers breathtaking views from the comfort of every guest room. This 3-acre property offers relaxing accommodation, while still being within walking distance of all restaurants and local attractions on Put-in-Bay.
The standard 2-queen room has two queen-sized beds and accommodates up to four guests. All second and third floor rooms have a screened balcony with seating, and first-floor rooms have open walk-out patios.

Bayshore Resort guests have full access to all onsite amenities. Just a short ferry ride from the bustling island of Put in Bay. The cottage is located on Middle Bass Island in a private community. Enjoy sunsets and a pool at the clubhouse, kayak on the lake or take a bike ride around the island. Newly remodeled kitchen, bath, new appliances and furniture. Included: 5 bikes, two kayaks (a single and a tandem) paddles, kayak cart and life jackets. Also a latte maker and a new fire pit table on the deck! Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Grill on the deck, enjoy gorgeous sunsets and the stars at night while sitting around your fire-pit table with optional twinkle lights. After a 45 min. ferry ride from the mainland relax away from it all with everything you need at your finger tips. A day trip to Put-in-Bay is only a short ferry ride away on the Sonny-S ferry and then back to the relaxing quite of Middle Bass Island. The pool is a short walk down the road and if you have fisherman in the group we have a 30 ft dock available for your boat. Also when you catch those fish we offer a portable fillet table and fillet knives to facilitate that fish dinner!

Aunt Jane’s is in the heart of downtown just behind the Round House! Just a few steps to the beach, docks shops, restaurants, pools, bars, and clubs! No cab rides back and forth across the island and no designated driver needed. Bring your own food and drinks and eat better for less! Fully equipped kitchen, BBQ grill, dining room, living room, screened porch. We provide pillows, blankets and comforters; you bring sheets and towels. We will try to meet or beat the rate of comparable rentals!
The space
Additional guests allowed at small charge, send an inquiry for a quote. We welcome families and groups of friends coming to the island to enjoy the special celebration of life that makes Put-in-Bay famous. Our unique location in the middle of all the commercial downtown resorts allows us to accommodate requests and needs that other residential rentals often cannot, just let us know what you want. We also have additional house and apartment rentals adjacent to this property for larger groups or if more individual bedrooms are required.

This two-story house features four bedrooms, each with two queen/hotel full size beds. Fully equipped kitchen includes refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, pots, pans, dishes, some utensils, and tableware. Two bathrooms, one with tub/shower and one with stall shower.

You can't beat our location. At the pool and forgot your sunglasses? Pop back to get them and be back with your friends before they noticed you were gone. Places that are even slightly farther away will require you to plan your trips in and out of town, and result in an entirely different experience.

Guest access
Includes a nice yard with picnic table, grills, and porch to hang out and watch all the action go by. Parking space for two vehicles in the driveway and one space for a rented golf cart (on the front grass) is provided with this rental. Other vehicles will have to park off the property in public parking areas such as the Miller Ferry lot, as available.

Aunt Jane's features multiple contiguous rentals. This rental is for only the portions of the property, rooms, and amenities included in the description. Guests of each particular rental are generally not allowed access to yard areas and portions of the property or buildings that are reserved for other guests, staff and facility maintenance areas, storage sheds, and any other area that may be designated as off-limits by staff, such as during construction or maintenance, whether or not such areas are in use during your stay.

Other things to note
You can walk to Aunt Jane's from the Jet Express dock or the Miller Ferry bus depot downtown. We can arrange golf cart rentals for you at the lowest rates with our friends down the street.

Rentals cannot break up weekend (Friday and Saturday nights). Midweek and some holidays require 3-nite minimum. If the police are summoned to the property due to your actions, your entire security deposit may be applied towards penalty, administrative and other managerial costs.

My place could not be in a more perfect location! The large screened in front porch offers an outstanding view of the lake and will invite you to watch the boats come and go while drinking your complimentary morning coffee. Harlow's room is our downstairs room. It is accessed through the back door of the house, past the breakfast room. The private bathroom is across the hall. There is a small sitting area in the room and a closet to store your luggage. The window has a view of the koi pond in the side yard. Harlow room can accommodate a third person for a $50 fee per night and will include a rollaway.
The property is surrounded on three sides by the Jane Coates Wildflower Trail with a view of Lake Erie in the Spring and Fall seasons, through the trees and across the street. Through a mother and daughter vision, Marisa bought this lovely 1887 home in 2017. Together, with the help of their significant others, they have been slowly renovating, making changes and creating a space to share with others for years to come. Linda can be found walking over with her chocolate lab, Porter, to garden or simply to say "hello". Marisa lives on the property with her partner, Corey, but can often be found working uptown at one of the local's favorite restaurants, The Goat. Stop by and visit her or visit Corey at Hooligans Irish Pub.

Other things to note
All guests may enter through the back door. You're treated like a neighbor here and the shared space is everyone's. Some guests will rise earlier than others, while some guests will retire later than others. It's island time! We have guests staying in the back barn apartment so you will see other people and vehicles, besides those staying in the house.

Nettie's Room is upstairs through the downstairs living room, kitchen, and breakfast cafe. It is a spacious bedroom with a queen sized bed. It comes equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. A rollaway bed for 1 can be added for an additional nightly cost. The bathroom is adjacent to the room. You can see the exposed brick from the chimney in one area. The windows view the side yard and the front view of the street and through the trees to the lake.

The property is surrounded on three sides by the Jane Coates Wildflower Trail with a view of Lake Erie in the Spring and Fall seasons, through the trees and across the street. The space
Jane's Suite can accommodate 1-4 people, although it is quaint with all four guests. The space is located through the downstairs of the home, past the shared breakfast room and living room, and upstairs. Entrance from the hallway leads into the bedroom. The queen size bedroom offers limited space, but the attached living room and alcove provide an area for guests to hang out, listen to music, drink their coffee. The futon in the living space can be put down to accommodate up to two additional people. It is a memory foam full size bed. Space is limited when the futon is pulled out, but you should only need it out to crash anyways. The private bathroom is accessible from the living room. The property is surrounded on three sides by the Jane Coates Wildflower Trail with a view of Lake Erie in the Spring and Fall seasons, through the trees and across the street. When the sun sets your room glows of yellow and orange, but you should really sit out on the front stoop to watch it, or run over to the South Bass Island State Park-what a spectacular view! During your stay
Through a mother and daughter vision, Marisa bought this lovely 1887 home in 2017. Together, with the help of their significant others, they have been slowly renovating, making changes and creating a space to share with others for years to come. Linda can be found walking over with her chocolate lab, Porter, to garden or simply to say "hello". Marisa lives on the property with her partner, Corey, but can often be found working uptown at one of the local's favorite restaurants, The Goat. Other things to note
All guests may enter through the back door. You're treated like a neighbor here and the shared space is everyone's. Some guests will rise earlier than others, while some guests will retire later than others. It's island time! We have guests staying in the back barn apartment so you will see other people and vehicles, besides those staying in the house.

The space
Pull into your driveway with space for up to two cars. This Put-in-Bay vacation rental has three bedrooms and two full baths. This home has a capacity of up to eight guests. The kitchen is the first room encountered upon entry and has an attached dining area. Pots, pans, utensils, dishes and such are provided. Cooking a few meals is a great way to save some money while on PIB. The living area has a television with DirecTV and comfy couches. There are two sliding glass doors that exit to the L-shaped wooden deck. There is ample outdoor seating, a picnic table and a propane grill. There is a taxi service available that will take you anywhere on Put in Bay.

Guests have full access to their private condo, including a waterfront deck and poolside decks .

Shared amenities include the ground-level patio, picnic tables, gas grills, parking lot (one car per condo), and the pool area. The property is lakefront, located behind the airport, offering stunning views of Lake Erie.

Island Club Rental Homes:

Guests have the full use of their entire rental home, the yard around the house, the deck with picnic table and gas grill, and the driveway (up to 2 cars).

Guest have shared use of the pool area.

Other things to note
Season & Pool Availability: The official season at Put-in-Bay runs from April 1 through October 31. The busiest time, when pools across the island are open, is between Memorial Day and Mid September.

Ferry Schedules: Since ferries do not run 24/7, be sure to check the Jet Express and Miller Ferry schedules in advance to plan your arrival and departure.

Golf Cart Rentals & Transportation:

Golf carts are available for rent onsite—booking in advance is highly recommended!

We provide a taxi shuttle service for just $4 per person, offering convenient island transportation, including ferry pickups and drop-offs.

Full-size vehicle parking on the island is extremely limited, so we highly recommend using a golf cart or taxi service to get around.

My place could not be in a more perfect location! The large screened in front porch offers an outstanding view of the lake and will invite you to watch the boats come and go while drinking your complimentary morning coffee. Once you are ready to get your day started you and your travel companions can enjoy the downtown which is less than a 5 min walk! If you have questions about the island don't be afraid to ask. Prices are for one or two people.

Get away to Put in Bay! After a short ferry ride, you'll truly feel like you are on an island vacation. House 107 is just one of the of the few homes we own in the Island Club development. If this home is booked on the dates you desire, check out our other properties!

Please note that we require a 2 night minimum when booking on the weekends (Fri and Sat must both be booked).

Upper level apartment on the one and only PIB. Sleeps a max of 4 people with 1 bathroom and sofa sleeper. Shared patio and fire pit in a secluded yard next to the golf course. State park and Joes Bar are with in walking distance and 1.2 miles from the downtown area. Must take a boat or airplane to get to island.

Second building one the property Erie Derie. You only share the drive way, patio area, and grill.

Worthy Mentioning
1.) This home will be stocked with a very limited starter set of paper products and soap. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.
2.) Only flameless candles can be used on the property.
3.) Must Keep all entrances/ exit doors closed at all times. It can potentially damage the AC otherwise.
4.) we cannot control the mayflies or any other seasonal bugs that come to the island. Keep the lights off, and the doors closed does help limit the mayflies and bugs that come in the house.
5.) do not put any tape on our walls.
6.) there are mats for deep frying or grilling located in your apartment.
7.) please be mindful of the neighbors you do share space with them. The spaces include the driveway, the patio area, and grill.
8.) No smoking of any kind! If found smoking a $1000 fee will apply.
9.) this is an island, the internet is not strong and will go in and out.
10.)Please plan your travel to the island. You can only access the island by boat or airplane. There is NO road, tunnel, or bridge to access the island.
