Feel free to enjoy the beach and amenities within walking distance at Point Pelee National Park by using our Complimentary Park Pass for the duration of your stay. This lakeside cabin sits on 150 feet with dreamy sunset views across the lake and misty, magical sunrise views in the morning. To beat the heat, go for a swim right off our shore for a clean, refreshing dip. Guests looking for an adventure can rent kayaks or canoes up the road at Pelee Wings Nature Store to explore the lake or hit the wetlands at Point Pelee National Park.
While our cabin does not have air conditioning or a full kitchen, you’ll be refreshed by the amazing lake breeze that flows through the space. We also provide all the basic tools needed to prepare simple meals inside, so you can enjoy home-cooked food in a cozy, camp-like setting. A 2 piece half bath is private inside the cottage. A shared outdoor shower is available for use.
Our property features two cottages—the Green Jelly Bean Tiny Home Cabin and the Red Jelly Bean Cabin. Both cottages share a large outdoor space, providing an opportunity to meet and connect with guests from the other cabin while still enjoying your own peaceful retreat. Pets: 1 pet allowed per reservation. $80.00 pet fee
Towels: Please leave used towels on the floor in the bathroom.
Water & septic: DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000.
Liability: The owners and property manager (PM) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner and PM are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. When you stay at Anchors Away, you have the private use of a comfortable, fully furnished main floor of a house. With two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen/dining area, and a relaxing three-season room that looks out onto the back porch, there is a lot of room to spread out!
The rental area of the house has received a major redecorating in April 2014, and the bathroom has been completely renovated in Dec. 2014. The kitchen and dining room area was recently renovated with all new cabinetry and eat-at island.
One Queen-size bed, plus two Twin-size beds that can be made into one King-size bed, provide for a good night sleep after a long drive or an afternoon out at the areas many parks and beaches. Both bedrooms have a ceiling fan and there is central heating/air conditioning in the apartment.
Unlike many of the rental homes in the area, all linens, towels, and paper products are included for you convenience. There is also a fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs. BBQ facilities are found on the covered back deck, where you can relax on the patio furniture after a day of fun, while a cool breeze blows over from the lake.
Springtime means it will soon be time for the famous bird migration through the Point Pelee area. Birders 'flock' from around the world to see the amazing menagerie of birds that pass by our region. There are plenty of summertime activities around Leamington to be enjoyed as well. Bring along your canoe for a paddle in the Point Pelee marsh or your clubs for a couple rounds of golf at Erie Shores Golf Course, two doors away. The flat terrain allows for an easy pedal around town or along the waterfront roads. You can also catch a ride on the ferry over to Pelee Island for an afternoon of sight seeing and a stop at the Pelee Island Winery's facility there. It's a good place to grab a light lunch and a refreshing glass of wine. If rain does threaten to spoil your day out, don't just find a place to curl up and wait it out! Leamington and the surrounding area has become quite renown for its wineries. There are several in the area, including the Pelee Island winery, that offer tours and samplings. Yum!!

Bugs- We recommend that you come prepared with appropriate bug repellent, such as bug spray, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience during your outdoor activities. Bug spray can greatly assist in minimizing any inconvenience caused by insects
Housekeeping - There is no daily housekeeping service. While linen and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the house. Should you need extra maid service, please contact us to arrange it. Extra maid services would be at an extra cost.
NOISE- GUESTS SHOULD NOT CREATE EXCESSIVE NOISE AT A LEVEL THAT DISTURBS NEIGHBORS. QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM-8AM
Garbage/Recycling- Any garbage must be stowed in the appropriate bins. We recommend the garbage is taken out daily to avoid unnecessary odors. Please sort your recycling to avoid a $75 sorting Fee. Glass, tin and plastic in one bin and paper and cardboard in one bin. Do not mix and do not put recycling in bags. All recycling must be lose except for paper and cardboard with should be broken down. The garbage bins are located East side of the back Parking lot.
Parking - Please park vehicles in designated parking areas only. Please do not park on the grass. Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
Appliances & kitchenware - Only use appliances for their intended uses. We have provided kitchenware for our guests, we kindly ask that you wash anything that is used. Dish soap and cloths are located under the sink.
Furniture and decor - Please do not move the furniture or decor. This can damage the floors and disturb the atmosphere of the home we have work so hard to create.
Pets - Unfortunately, this property is not suitable for pets of any kind.
Towels - Please leave used towels on the floor in the bathroom
Water and septic - DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000.

We share the main entrance. I live on the second floor and you guys will have whole first floor. Curtain separation is upgraded by barn door as a feedback by previous guests. Guests can use the living area with a TV (amazon prime, Netflix and Youtube) and the dining area with a - **Semi Kitchen**: Enjoy the convenience of a semi-kitchen equipped with essential amenities, allowing you to prepare light meals and snacks during your stay. Guests can access back yard and patio. I am available 24/7 for your requirements, feel free to text anytime. I can help with anything within my range or stuff I got. Beautiful area to enjoy. 5 minutes to beach marina Leamington Boat Ferry. Ten minutes drive to Point Pelee National Park. Many wineries to enjoy wine tasting. Unique down town of with many Mexican food and many choices of family restaurants. Enjoy our next little charming little town of Kingville. It's only 10 minutes away. Enjoy the many restaurant and boutiques in this area. Leamington is very easy to get around by car NOTE: We do not have a separate entrance for this space. There were a few kitchen items that were lacking. The beds were very comfy, which were a welcome addition to our stay. It was a quiet and private. Our Bunkie is a birder’s l’il paradise. It’s a unique, intimate space where you can experience the smells and sounds of nature on the North Shore of Lake Erie. We live in an area that is surrounded by the most fertile farmland in Ontario, and on a road that emulates the peaceful serenity of Pelee Island.
Don't miss out on the spectacular sunrises, often times, beautifully viewed from your bed.

The space
Enjoy the splendour of ‘glamping’ in our unique, protective bunkie! Our prime location serves the outdoor enthusiast. Bring your kayak and investigate the Hillman Marsh just down the road or spend the day at Point Pelee National Park or Wheatley Provincial Park.
We are a short 12 minute drive to Leamington’s best perch dinners, restaurants, marina, Erie Shores Golf Course, Seacliff Park and more.
Bring your bikes and enjoy the area or take off for the day to Point Pelee or Seacliff Park.

Natural occurrences can take place that are out of our control.
Here is the 5% lowdown:
1/ Wind
HIGH East, Northeast and Southeast winds affect our shoreline. This could result in some wave action and overland splash. When this happens, often times the deck of the Bunkie is affected. It will get wet. When the lake water moves quickly into the shoreline, it can create a thunderous sound. It can be a love or hate thing. We love it!
2/ Bugs
The Spring season brings Midges which can swarm the area. They love lakefront and can be a nuisance but they are harmless.
The Summer season may bring fish flies. However, our side of the lake has the least amount due to cooler lake waters early summer. 👍
Mosquitoes will affect your outdoor enjoyment on the deck for a brief time. Spray will help that’s for sure!
3/ Spiders
You may see them (daddy long-legs). This is normal for all of us who live on the lake.
In saying that, we do spray for spiders every June and August to provide the best living space. It’s a natural spray so that it doesn’t interrupt the life of our Purple Martin’s and surrounding wildlife. As well, we clean the area from top to bottom, inside and out, before the arrival of each guest. Your comfort is important!
We do our best to provide a clean environment, however, we cannot guarantee a bug-free space.

Pelee Suite 2 has it's own entrance; a totally private apartment for you to enjoy. Built in 1835 the boutique hotel is located two blocks from downtown shopping, restaurants, Art Gallery, Bank Theatre and cinema. Point Pelee National Park is an 11 km drive. Parking is free on site. Relax with some take out or visit one of Leamingtons many nice restaurants and let us know if we can make your stay more enjoyable.
The space
A new queen size bed with extra blankets and pillows await weary travellers. We've added an XL twin to the suite to accomodate a third person or 2 people who don't want to share a bed. Brew yourself a coffee or tea in the well equipped kitchenette. TheTV in the main bedroom has cogeco cable, there is wifi throughout the unit. The Coach House was built in 1835. The integrity of the home was maintained during upgrades. Kindly let us know if there is anyway we can make your stay more enjoyable.

Guests are welcome to relax outside their room on the chairs provided or on the front lawn. Your suite is your private getaway, the only shared space is the front lawn. We ask for no loud music after 11 pm but normal talking and tv is always welcome.

Great 3-bedroom home near the lake with beach rights located ~80 meters from the water. The home is about 1000 sqft and completely renovated top to bottom.

The space has two levels. The main floor has two bedrooms, one bathroom, laundry room, kitchen and living room. The second level has a third bedroom. Large backyard with a fire pit.
The place has everything you need for basic utilities: hydro, (town) water, central heating / cooling, and internet(+Netflix). Since we get the inquiry a lot, the water is from the town and safe to use/drink.

• This is one of the only homes in the area with high speed internet (60-100 mbps compared to others that range from 5-15mbps often failing from summer leaves), includes Netflix on main tv
• Very large driveway for parking including space for a large camper, boat or seadoos.

A hidden precious gem, very spacious, close to all amenities. Only minutes away from Point Peele National Park Marina, Ferry, Beach and Grandstand..
