A stunning wood-burning fireplace surrounded by magnificent stonework is the highlight of this already beautiful space. Adjacent to the living area lies the dining area, where you can bring the whole family together around a charming wood table for a gourmet meal. The first floor also hosts an expansive family room with a large sectional sofa and an 85” flat screen TV. The family room also has a ping pong table for competitive family fun!

With a 135+ private acres and beautiful Bolt Lake as your backyard, you may never want to step foot off the property! Bolt Lake is part of the Gang of Lakes, which allows you to explore 4 additional lakes via connecting channels. The lakes are great fishing for bass, crappie, bluegill, sunfish, catfish and pike. The property is also bordered by Rice Creek and has additional frontage on Gordan Lake and another small pond.
The property is just North of the city of Albion (home to Albion College) and is a quick 15 minute drive from the cute town of Marshall or the city of Jackson. It is also less than an hour drive from both East Lansing and Ann Arbor, making it a great option for college football weekends.
A fast 20 drive will take you to Firekeeper’s Casino in Battlecreek where you can enjoy over 2,900 slot machines, 70 table games and a 14-table non-smoking poker room in addition to numerous tasty dining options.

The Homer Lodge is a year round play ground for all ages & provides all you need for your country getaway. Privacy & seclusion, yet only a short drive from all that Mid-Michigan has to offer. This Large, well maintained, bright & sunny home is great for family gatherings or friends getaway. Spend the day swimming in the 32 ft. heated INDOOR pool available year round, play Ms. Pac-Man in the basement, or play pool in the huge great room that includes an authentic Brunswick 8-ft table, watch movies on the numerous flat screen TVs, to name just a few. Picnic outside, sing songs around the campfire, and toast marshmallows & make Smores using the fire pit (available seasonally). We wanted a clean, modern place with full appliances and air conditioning to stay that would give us flexibility. Mohammads place is fully renovated, brand new with clean immaculate floors, carpets, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms. There is literally no dust on the furniture nor base boards. Each bedroom is fully furnished with clean bed, linens, sheets and extra pillows. Each room has a luggage stand and in the main hallway there are extra towels, clean and white as pure snow. The bathrooms are equiped with body wash and soap of luxurious quality. Air conditioning was a must because of the heatwave. Id recommend to have it on before client arriaval. None the less after turning it on, house cooled down fast. Wifi was fast and easy to access. Kitchen has basic furnishings, with time more items could be added. We brought take out so we did not require any of the appliances or cuttlery. However if we were to stay a few days, we would have required pots, pans, plates etc. Kitchen is furnished with basic items, we would have been okay. Mohammads communication is excellent, and easy to talk to. We needed an accommodation for my father and Mohammad got it ready for us. Day of travel, he provided instructions on how to enter and what to do in the home. All in all 5 star experience."

Beds are really comfortable, and the cookware was in great condition. We enjoyed the YouTube tv offered. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Although there are neighbors, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves during the week. On the weekends, neighbors were quiet, respectful. The lake is great for taking out a kayak, because there wasn't a lot of motor boats, especially during the week. Would definitely return."

Host was extremely communicative and provided lots of information on nearby shopping, restaurants, and things to do as well as an organized check in/out procedure. Our family was sad to only have two nights on Duck Lake and we would come back again to stay at Penny's Sandy Cove!"

Please include the true total number of guests that will be at the property in the initial reservation. All changes to the initial reservation must be communicated and approved by the host and/ or co-host prior to the occurrence of the change. We are happy to answer any questions.

• No unregistered guests. All guests’ names must be included in original reservation. Host reserves the right to verify guests.
• No locals inside or on property.
• No parties, gatherings, or events.
• Take trash out frequently. Dispose of trash in receptacle (brown lid only) that is located on right side of the house.
• Do not park on the grass.
• No Pets
• The basement is not a part of the rental space.
• Secure property when leaving. Close windows and lock doors. Turn off lights.
• Please do not rearrange furniture, use it as intended.
• Take care with sharp items on leather.
• We prefer no food in the bedrooms and living room, please keep them clean.
• Toilets are for toilet tissue and bodily fluids only. Please use waste can for other items.
• For guest staying over 10 days, housekeeping may be required.
• When air conditioner is in use, please remember to close windows and doors.
• Please do not run air conditioner 24/7, turn off when you leave the house. Help us conserve energy.
• If you break something, please inform us.
• Lock out fee is $25.00 fee per call. Please do not damage the locks or doors.

• Please leave things as you found them. This includes counter tops, stove, refrigerator, sinks, vanity, floor etc... clean and in order. Cleaning items are under the sinks.
• Please wash your dishes. Leaving clean dishes in dish rack is fine, we will put them away.
• Place used towels in the laundry basket or bathroom tub. We will remove bed linen, do laundry and remake beds.
• Dispose of trash in outside brown receptacle at check out.
• Make sure the stove is turned off.
• Lock all doors (including rear entry) and turn off the lights when you leave.
• Make sure you have not left anything behind.
• Leave the keys in the designated area.

It is a quiet, beautiful, two story home. It offers 3 bedrooms with 1 Queen size bed and 2 double beds. 1 bath on the main floor. 1 bath on the 2nd floor. Very spacious open kitchen, living, room, and dining areas. The property also has a large back yard available for use during rental period.

Maximum 6 guests including all children

Minutes from Albion College, Downtown Albion, Albion Public Safety, and Albion Public Library. Community parks are within walking distance.

Property is thoroughly sanitized between each visit.

**NOTE** Entrance of the home has stairs. Also, Two bedrooms are located on the upper level of the home. Unfortunately this home is not currently wheelchair accessible.
