We have enjoyed walking to restaurants, shops, parks and many other wonderful amenities nearby. It’s a historical home (and feels like it), so don’t expect level floors and perfect walls. Those imperfections are part of the charm of living in this adorable neighborhood. Our cottage is suitable for couples and families seeking a peaceful, quiet setting to enjoy lake life! The surrounding area is home to many full-time lake residents, making this a perfect choice for those looking to relax, fish, and enjoy water sports. As such, we do require guests to observe quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. Also note, we do not allow parties or events.

2. No Smoking or Vaping Indoors: Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited indoors. Kindly dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

3. Pet Responsibility: Only dogs are permitted as pets, and they must be declared on the reservation. Guests are allowed to bring a maximum of two (2) dogs onto the property. For hygiene and the comfort of all guests, animals are not allowed on beds, bedding, or sofas. When pets are brought along, they must be crated when left unattended and must always remain on leash when outside the home. Please ensure diligent cleanup after your pets. Any damages caused by pets will result in charges for repair or replacement.

4. Registered Guests Only: Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted to be on the property. Contact us for clarification or prior approval of visitors.

5. Food and Drink in Designated Areas: Eating and drinking should be confined to common areas, not bedrooms.

6. Respect Quiet Hours: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am to ensure a peaceful environment for all neighbors and guests.

7. Bedroom Key Responsibility: Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of bedroom keys. A replacement fee of $50 will be charged for lost keys.

8. Report Damages Promptly: In case of any breakages or damages, please inform the hosts immediately for timely repair or replacement.

9. Furniture Arrangement: Kindly refrain from rearranging the furniture.

10. Cleanliness: Guests are expected to clean their dishes and take out the trash before departure.

11. No Illegal Substances: The use of illegal substances on the premises is strictly prohibited.

Please come and stay at our cozy 2 story Grand Rapids Home. You have access to the whole house, and this rental has just been newly remodeled and refurnished with all the amenities of home. Specifically, this 2 bedroom house has 1 main floor bedroom with a queen-sized bunk bed as well as a similar queen-sized bunk bed in the 1 upstairs bedroom to easily accommodate 8 guests. There is a full-sized bath upstairs, and a half bath downstairs. A washer/dryer is provided for use in the basement. Two tables have also been set-up in the basement to make room for play or entertaining. Wifi Internet is available and cable t.v. is set-up above the study desk within the spacious living room.

This air conditioned house is attractively decorated and has hardwood floors through-out the 1100 sq. ft. finished house. If you need other sleeping arrangements, use the sectional couch with ottoman in the living room area. The dining room table comfortably sits six to eight adults and is off of the kitchen as one heads toward the living room The kitchen comes with a good-sized refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, and dishes, pans, & etc. needed for preparing meals.

Parking is off-street and in back of the house. It is a corner lot, and public bus transportation is available within the neighborhood. The house is conveniently located and only a few miles from the Van Andel Arena, DeVos Center; breweries, restaurants, museums, Meijer Gardens, Medical Mile, and Grand Valley State University. US 131, also, has an easy entrance and exit nearby. The living room has a leather furniture, and flat screen tv.

One bedroom has a comfy queen-sized bed, and the other is an office with a twin day bed. The bathroom has a claw foot tub with shower enclosure, perfect for relaxing after a long day trekking around the city.

Great Quiet Location is like between Gerald R Ford International Airport and Downtown Grand Rapids , Michigan within 8 to 12 minutes 6 miles or so . Major Transportation within 2 blocks west of here city bus lines Route 1 division and also Silver Line which runs around every 30 minutes or so .shared house with a private room . Queen bed. Our historical home has easy access to all that Downtown Grand Rapids has to offer! By bike, public transit, or car, you can be where you want to be quickly and efficiently. We have one king bedroom available on the second floor. The bathroom is for our guests only. Convenient to breweries, Van Andel Arena, De Vos Place, Spectrum Hospitals, GVSU, East Grand Rapids, Eastown, Aquinas and Calvin colleges and more. Our home is not set up for remote workers.

There are 4 guest rooms sharing 1.5 bathrooms. We have the common guest areas cleaned professionally. It is a private yet friendly atmosphere. Our guests all have a personal mission whether it be education or employment. Often relocation. We cannot accommodate work from home guests.
