Welcome to our tiny home! In 2019 my husband and I set out to renovate this old pool house into a self-sustainable apartment or tiny home. As you can imagine… things did not turn out the way we intended and construction was completed in the fall of 2020! We are thrilled to open up a part of our lives and our home to you!

The amenities are not lacking within the space and we know you will feel at home!

The space
Our home is different. It is small, around 270 sq feet. But you will find within that it is not lacking in amenities.

Kick your feet up and relax on the bed while watching a movie. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee in morning while relaxing on our comfy couch. Make a full dinner to celebrate something special. Enjoy a massage with our back/neck massager found in the clothes closet. Experience cleaner air with our HEPA air filter.

We hope, most of all, that you feel at home in our space.

**Please be sure to read our entire listing for additional details and house rules prior to booking, namely maximum length of stay, maximum number of two guests per stay and no pet or smoking policy. If you do bring extra guests, unauthorized pets or smoke in our home you will be asked to leave no questions asked and incur extra service fees of up to or exceeding $250.**

Guest access
You have full access to our guest house. If you would like, we can arrange for you to host guests in our backyard as well with prior notice.

We are not ADA accessible, but the entrance to the home has only a small lip and there are no steps to gain access. The shower also has only a small lip to step into.

The dedicated work space is a moveable bar cart with two stools, since this is a tiny home it serves as your table if you choose as well.

Another thing to note, is that you will need to walk through our backyard to get to the tiny home. We do have children (5 of them!), we do host often, but most say our space is quiet and peaceful. Currently the fence is in disrepair, you may leave it open. We have plans to replace it all in the future, but this is what we are currently working with:)

Other things to note
Our family of 8 lives on the shared property. Amy is a stay at home mom who homeschools, so they are all around during much of the day. There is also a large grey tabby cat, named Rupert, who lives in the main house, he is harmless and very friendly.

The space
The space is a mid-century modern pool house complete with kitchen/living space and separate one bedroom space. It is best for longer term guests (ask about discount) but short term is also permitted.
In winter the spa and pool are unavailable.
Studio artists may request additional space for projects.

Guest access
Your private spaces are contained within the pool house. You are invited also to use SHARED spaces of pool, yard, labyrinth, pond, tennis courts and SAUNA. home owners, friends or family may also be seen at the pool or in the yard from time to time

Other things to note
The filtration room for the pool is adjacent to the living room. sometimes it makes sounds -- I can't hear it over music. but if you are sensitive to sound be aware.
