This 1900's Victorian farm house has been completely renovated and updated, while keeping with the original character of the dwelling. This great country get-a-way is a unique experience for those animal lovers who would like to experience farm life without having to do all of the work. The space
This is a historic home in the center of an iconic neighborhood, bordered by a park with tennis courts on one side and the Mott Park Recreation Area on the other. The former golf course is now a disc golf course but is also available for walking, running, or relaxing by the river.

Is it ok to bring pets? Dog/cat: yes. Anything else: just let me know first.

How many people can fit? 1-2 is ideal. A third can be squeezed in if you’re very close or it’s a child. More than that is difficult.

How many beds are there: one full size bed that is permanent. We used to have a roll away but it kept getting damaged. We can provide a mattress that can be laid on the floor if needed.

Are there stairs? Yes. It is an upstairs loft. No elevator.

Is there a kitchen? Yes, a small one.

Is there a bathroom? Yes, also small. The whole space, though built in 1926, is kind of like a tiny house.

Is there a shower? No. There is a bath tub. You have to sit down due to the design of the roof. Please see pictures.

Is there Wifi? Yes.

Guest access
In the summertime, guests may want to bring tennis raquets, bikes, or other outdoor activities. In the winter, cross country skiing in the recreation is always a unique opportunity. There is also ice skating available in downtown Flint. We have some discs if you would like to be play disc golf. We also have a couple tennis rackets. Just let me know if you would like to borrow something.

Our water line to the house was replaced in 2017. We have been drinking the water with a filter since then.

Welcome to Valley Farm Airbnb guesthouse!

This newly renovated completely private guest suite sleeps up to 4 people. With a full kitchen, full bath, in unit laundry, desk and monitor. We are happy to host you on your stay no matter how short or long!

The space
Come stay with us on Valley Farm! The property you will be staying on used to be Valley Farm circa 1934! Inside this newly renovated guest house you will even find a replica of the original Valley Farm Barn sign. This guest house is located on the opposite side of our driveway, approximately 15 yards from our home.

In this open concept space we have a full kitchen equipped with all the essentials, including a blender and paper products. The living room has a fire stick TV, books, puzzles, board games, and extra blankets. Off of the living room, there is a laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer. The bathroom has a walk in shower, making this entire space stair free and easy to access.

The bedroom houses a queen bed, dresser, and dedicated work space. The living room couch functions as a pull out double size bed.

Conveniently located with 15 minutes of tons of attractions like skiing, ORV trails, concerts, parks, and lots of great local food and drinks. Please check out the online guestbook or message us for things to do!

For those looking to visit Holly ORV park or making their way up north, we can accommodate trailer parking for an additional fee.

Guest access at this time is strictly limited to inside the Airbnb. No outdoor shared spaces are available at this time. Please do not cross over the driveway. Parking is available for two cars. All guests staying the night or just visiting must be included on the reservation.

Our future plans include having a guest patio, equipped with a grill, firepit, and access to wooded walking trails. Please check the listing for the latest updates on availability of outdoor spaces.

Other things to note
We share our property with a flock of chickens, bee hives, and our cat Waylon! If you would like to purchase eggs or honey from the farm please let us know!

Security cameras are located throughout the property. They monitor the entire exterior of our main house and the guest house. There are no cameras that can see or monitor the interior of our guest house.

Valley Farm was the name listed on the barn back from 1934, operating as a functional farm up until the 60’s! Currently the barn is undergoing major renovations and is not safe for public use. Please do not wonder about the property.

My place is close to downtown Holly where there are restaurants and antique shopping. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, its warm and comfortable. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We are open from May 1-Dec 31
