This private guest suite (bedroom + bathroom + patio) is above our working art studio, located minutes from the village of Glenn. This charming oasis is between South Haven and Saugatuck (13 min. to each) and just a 25-minute drive to Holland. Lake Michigan beaches, berry farms, orchards, wineries, breweries, restaurants, and shopping are just minutes away. This a great place for couples or individuals looking for a central location to explore from and a quiet place to relax in the evening.

The space
Our guest suite is a private oasis with a cozy bedroom and bathroom furnished with a queen-sized bed, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, television, and ac/heat unit. There are also beach towels and beach chairs for you to use.

The suite is in our working art studio which is located next to our home on our property. It's private, with your own entrance and patio on the back of the building facing the trees.

The upstairs is split into two spaces, the guest suite bedroom and the owner's office. The downstairs is the art studio and guest suite bathroom. There are interior doors to the office and studio from the guest suite, but they are locked and closed off from the working spaces while there are guests. Your space will be entirely private and all your own while you're there.

We have hosted for over 8 years on Airbnb and have stayed in over 60 Airbnbs around the world. We made this space to be well-appointed and efficient for travelers, and took care to provide things we found missing in places we have stayed.

***PLEASE NOTE IF BOOKING SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13: The artist studio will be open to cyclists riding the Lakeshore Harvest Ride from about 9 am-3 pm. The public does not have access to the private guest suite; however, there will be more activity and voices than usual.

Please be aware that there are stairs between the downstairs entrance and bathroom and the upstairs bedroom.

We spend typical hours working in the studio and office on weekdays so you may hear us come and go. We work quietly and typically wear headphones most of the day. We travel for work relatively often in the warmer months so we may be out of town during your stay, but the suite is made to be self-sufficient, although we always have someone locally to help if a problem should arise.

We spend a lot of time outdoors, and you'll most likely hear us and our kids playing in the yard, but you won't see us unless you want to.

The space
Beautiful, spacious, light-filled space with two connected rooms- a small sitting room and a larger room for sleeping and relaxing. The sitting room has a little tv and enough seating for four to relax or visit. A door off the sitting room leads to the separate bedroom that sleeps 4, a queen bed and 2 twins, a desk, cozy reading nook and a small game table. Both rooms have a ceiling fan. There’s a small, private bathroom with shower/tub. Enjoy local, pour-over coffee or loose-leaf tea in your suite so you can linger in your room as long as you’d like in the morning or if you'd rather, grab a cup of already brewed coffee from the kitchen (anytime after 7:30 am).

The Dunegrass Suite is loved by small families and friends! The backyard patio makes a perfect hangout and gives easy access to the grills, firepit, playground, volleyball, and yard games.
