Full size kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances. New stackable washer/dryer in unit with drying rack.

The space
The space is private, well stocked and ideally located in OP. This is a private space on the 2nd floor over a 2-car garage with easy access to Oak Park on foot and Chicago via the L train (3 blocks). The main space has an Amish custom-made queen Murphy bed, a slide-out couch bed, and an amazing single loft bed. The largeTV is mounted into a hand-built American Chestnut barn wall.

Guest access
In addition to the Coach house, guest get a fenced in parking spot and use of the 2 chairs and table on parking pad associated with coach house on back of property.

We, Blake and Lindy (with 2 children) live on in the main house. Coach house is in back of property with a private entrance.

This bright, cozy coach house is your ideal base in Oak Park. It was originally the coachman's quarters behind a 1909 Prairie-style house, now converted into guest lodging with all the modern amenities above a detached garage.

The coach house is at the end of a long driveway (free parking included!) on a quiet street, in the heart of the Frank Lloyd Wright district, a short walk from trains to downtown Chicago

The space
The coach house is set up as a stand-alone studio apartment, complete with a private bathroom, bedroom, living space, and kitchen. The bathroom is enclosed and the rest is set up as an open area, with a partial dividing wall between the bedroom and living area. The living area has a futon couch that folds down into a bed for a third guest (or second guest sleeping separately).

The guest space is private, with a separate entrance door in the front of the detached garage. Guests are also welcome to share our back yard and fire pit area (we live in the main house).

We cannot stress enough that your safety and comfort, our family's safety and comfort and the safety and comfort of our neighbors is our #1 priority. If you have guests coming by that are not staying with you for the night, we still want to understand who will be on our property, and we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

We ask that you only use the livingroom exit in case of emergency.
