the cottage is a guest house on a 80 acre farm, near Alpine Valley music theatre, 90 miles from Madison, 30 from Milwaukee and 120 from Chicago.

The mid level of the historic bunkhouse/brothel has 6 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12. There are shared primitive "his" and "hers" restrooms, a kitchenette down below, and access to camp showers. The floor has 4 rooms with full beds and 2 rooms with 2 twins. You have a dedicated outdoor grill, picnic area, and campfire site. Like all of Camp, it’s a back-to-basics, no-frills, primitive experience. Simple rooms, vintage furnishings. You can get air conditioning by leaving your windows open : )

We’ve banned the word “glamping” here because there’s no glamour in a century old primitive lake resort. There is electricity, but it's not sufficient for blowdryers or "bring your own" space heaters or AC units - so please don't bring your own.

Simple rooms, vintage furnishings, There’s gas forced air heat, but the AC comes from opening a window. You have a dedicated outdoor grill, picnic area, and campfire site.
