Perched just above Delavan Lake Yacht Club, this home has a shared dock/swimming pier and incredible water views from every window of every room. The five bedrooms, five bathrooms, finished basement and finished attic provide plenty of space and privacy for everyone to unwind, relax and have fun.

The main floor has an open concept family room, dining room and kitchen and is fully-equipped with new appliances, new furniture and a large, flat screen TV. This large space with plenty of seating makes our home perfect for small or large gatherings. There are two king bed master suites and three queen bed bedrooms with luxury mattresses and bedding so you can enjoy maximum comfort during your stay. The attic and large basement/game room are the cherry on top for families with kids, as they provide additional beds to sleep in and more space to spread out and have fun!

With so much to do in Delavan Lake, you can spend your days boating, swimming off the pier, shopping, golfing, lounging on a rocker on our covered porch or kicked back around the fire pit. There are stores, bars and restaurants all within walking distance, and the Delavan Marina is just a three minute drive down the road. The location and size of this home are truly perfect for family getaways, work retreats, trips with friends or holiday celebrations. Adorable ~700 square foot cottage in Cedar Park Estates just steps away from family friendly Browns Lake and private sandy bottom Cedar Park beach, fishing pier and boat launch. Located just ONE hour from the north side of Chicago! The house comfortably sleeps four (one queen and one set of twin bunks) with room for blow up mattresses in bunk bedroom and living area. Beautiful deck and screened porch for entertaining as well as green space for little ones to collect fireflies and frog hunt. A charcoal BBQ and firepit are located just off deck on concrete walk. The kitchen is stocked with necessities to make your meals and eat at home in a dining area with wraparound windows. Smart TV with basic cable, DVD player and internet for your fav viewing (i.e Netflix, Hulu, Amazon). The bathroom has a clean ceramic walk-in shower and a stackable washer and dryer is in the house.

We have raised our two children spending summers at the Cedar Park beach, park and biking the nearby hills and would not change it for anything! This is a great opportunity to have the family relax and spend time together in the water, fishing, walking, playing and just being outside.

Things to bring???

A boat if you have one! You can launch from Cedar Park for $10/day and there is plenty of room to store the boat on the driveway. Browns Lake is an all sports lake. Bring on the skiers!

Paddleboards, kayaks, canoes and sailboats are all welcome and encouraged.

Fishing poles and equipment-There are plenty of eager sunfish, bass (large and small mouth) and walleye to hop on your line from the Cedar Park fishing pier.

Volleyball (sand court @ beach) and basketball, tennis rackets and baseball equipment for Cedar Park playground a few houses down Fischer Drive.

Bikes-The Browns Lake/Burlington area has wonderful topography for a scenic bike ride with children or a challenging workout for road and off-road bikers.

The house was fully stocked with anything you could need and had plenty of outdoor space to sit back and relax. Some things to note:
Yard is not fenced in but it has a partial privacy fence. Guests have access to multiple streaming services to use with their services. Cable is not offered.

To the left of the laundry machines was a former bathroom that is under construction, but will not impede guests from using the washer and dryer.

The home is a bilevel and has about 4 or 5 stairs getting into the home and/or lower area (rec/laundry).

Pets are provided blankets on the couches. However, we ask that they do not lay on the beds if possible. We ask that guests bring an enclosure while they leave their pets in the home.

Having two bathrooms was nice but one of them is an ensuite so it would have been better if both bathrooms were accessible to everyone. There is plenty of seating at the table and in the family room area which came in handy on the rainy day so we could gather as a group. All in all we enjoyed the house and the host was extremely quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had. Highly recommend this property if you are staying in the Delevan area."

The Wi-Fi, TV, and a/c gave us no problems, and the nespresso was a very nice touch. The patio furniture was very comfortable and had great views of the yard. Speaking of the yard, we brought our four-legged friend and he was very grateful for the fenced in yard, no spots where he could squeeze through the fence and was nice to let him out for quick potty breaks. My only complaint is that we wish we could have stayed longer!"

There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed and one with a double. The bathroom is located upstairs. Downstairs you will find a family room with sectional, additional dining table and third bedroom with two twin beds.

The deck which has lake views features a large sectional and a brand new Weber grill. Below the deck is another seating area with chairs and a fire pit.

Our bathroom has a hair dryer, towels, and shampoo/conditioner are provided. Please note - there is only a shower on our property, but it does include a handheld sprayer to assist with younger children.

There are two parking spots available.

There is a living room and a three-season room area allowing for extra space for your whole crew. The TV stand has board games and puzzles for your enjoyment. Roku TVs, ready to use your own Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Please check the fence before relying on it to contain your pet, especially upon arrival and after weekly mowing services.

To help us continue to allow dogs, please utilize the provided sheets to cover furniture and beds if your furry family members will be on furniture. Dog waste must be cleaned up throughout your stay and properly disposed of. If leaving dogs unattended please bring your own crate if needed.

There will be an additional $300 fee if excessive fur is left behind on furniture or if dog waste is not properly disposed of.

In the back yard you'll find a stone fire circle with enough cut and stacked firewood to keep the conversation lively well into the night.

The space
Character filled, rustic 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage includes a family room, living room, dining room, and sunroom. The kitchen, living room and bathroom (with washer and dryer) are recently renovated top to bottom. Bed 1 has a queen-sized bed and Bed 2 has two twins that can be converted to a King upon request. We also have a queen sized pullout couch in the family room which has a door for privacy.

The space
This two-bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage is in Cedar Park, a quiet, safe beachside neighborhood about 2 miles outside the city of Burlington. Guests have access to private Cedar Park beach, just down the street, with swimming, boat launch, and access to the ice in winter. The lakefront area has some of the best water frontage on Brown's Lake with its sandy beach and sandy bottom. There is a nearby park with playground equipment, tennis, basketball, and a baseball diamond.

The main bedroom has a comfortable king bed, and the junior bedroom has twin-size bunk beds. A living room queen sofa-sleeper folds out for larger families and groups.

The small galley kitchen is well-equipped for all of your cooking needs and expands into the dining room for ample cooking and social space. There is a new gas stove and compact dishwasher.

The back deck features a gazebo swing and picnic table, while the big, wooded yard has swings for the kids and a fire pit on a double lot. Driveway can accommodate trailers and boats, up to 4 vehicles.

The wall-mounted TV has cable and can be connected to internet devices.

The cottage has forced-air heating and central air conditioning with a supplemental heater in the dining room, which keep it comfortable year-round.

House water is filtered through an iron curtain system and softener for quality drinking, cooking, and shower water. The new 110v washer/dryer combo is available for use.

Upstairs bedrooms have plush new carpet, and downstairs has new rugs on modern laminate flooring.

There is an additional detached garage which we have converted into recreation/game room. This space is heated in the winter and has a window a/c unit in the summer, and can be enjoyed year round. There is a large fully fenced yard with firepit.

Other things to note
Garbage day is early Monday morning. Please have the garbage and recycling receptacles placed at both sides of the end of the driveway ( 1 on each side) Sunday night. If you are still staying in the cottage Monday after garbage has been picked up, please pull the receptacles back up to the garage. Thank you.

Newly finished basement with 2 additional bedrooms, office area, reading nook, and a large rec/living area with air hockey table. Main level includes a large open common area featuring high vaulted ceilings, connected to an open kitchen and dining area. Living area has a fireplace and LOTS of windows facing the woods. Rear deck with a massive wooded backyard. Master bedroom has it's own private bathroom. Very clean home built in 2006. Great way to get away from the business of downtown Lake Geneva, while still enjoying the area.

WIFI is generally reliable and strong at the Cottage. We have clean beds and towels for guests. House is on septic tank and well. The water has been tested and is safe to drink. Kitchen cold water tap is filtered. The hot water can sometimes smell like sulfur but it is completely safe. Please flush nothing down the toilet except for toilet paper. AT&T cell service works best at this property location. T-Mobile and Verizon have workable signals outside of the home, but do not work too well inside the home. Please note we do not have a TV at the cottage, but you are welcome to bring your own. Just enjoy the outdoors and dig into a good book!

Please be sure pets are included in the guests/pet counts when booking to ensure the total for your stay calculates correctly.

To help us continue to allow dogs, please utilize the provided sheets to cover furniture and beds if your furry family members will be on furniture. Dog waste must be cleaned up throughout your stay and properly disposed of. If leaving dogs unattended please bring your own crate if needed.

There will be an additional $300 fee if excessive fur is left behind on furniture or if dog waste is not properly disposed of.

Our lawncare team typically mows on Mondays, weather dependent. Rain may cause a delay to the following day.

LOCAL REGULATIONS
Due to local regulations we are required to keep records of our guests names and addresses. You will receive a link to a Google form after booking to provide this information.

The Hillhouse sits on the hilltop overlooking Camp Wandawega. It is a modern renovation of a 1930s summerhouse. While it maintains the original footprint and some of the vintage charm, it offers more modern comforts & amenities than our other accommodations. The main level is all open plan, and includes a living room, a large fully outfitted kitchen, wood burning fireplace, open dining room, bathroom and expansive deck. 2 bedrooms and a full bath downstairs. And a lofted bedroom upstairs.

The space
Headcount is limited to the 6 people staying overnight, unless separate arrangements are made to make sure your plans align with acceptable use (not for parties or events). Hillhouse also has a dedicated outdoor grill, dining area, and campfire site.

WHAT YOU GOTTA KNOW: We still behave more like a private friends & family retreat than a “proper” destination. So bear with us as our innkeepers hats still don’t fit great. If you require an immediate response, and lots of hand-holding, Wandawega might not be the best fit for you.

LETS GET REAL: Folks aren’t booking accommodations here as much as they’re accessing an old school summer camp experience, with the gamut of self-guided activities: archery, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, tennis, shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball, etc. Everything is included, and it’s all DIY. Watch the orientation film on our site to kick off your stay.

SPECIAL HELP. The Airbnb calendar shows our most up-to-date avails. We’re totally DIY booking on a first come, first serve basis, so we don’t field emails, DMs, texts, calls or smoke signals outside of airbnb, unless you’re looking for a private all-camp rental.

MUST COMPLETE: All campers must sign the RELEASE & ACTIVITY WAIVER upon check in. A link will also be sent when you book, a mandatory read before showing up, so we can answer any questions in advance.

COMMUNAL SPACES: private lakefront, beach, piers, swim rafts, sports fields, treehouse, hiking trails, etc. (Be good scouts, & be considerate of your fellow camper’s peace and personal space).

ASK FIRST. Friends, we don’t rent through Airbnb for commercial photo shoots or ticketed retreats (shoot us an email if that’s what you’re looking for).

Charming country cottage walking distance of downtown Lake Geneva and beach. 2 Bedroom w/ galley kitchen. Kitchen currently only has an electric griddle and hot plate for frying pans. No stove or oven but equipped with utensils for simple meals and grill utensils. 2 queen beds and couch. Central heat & Air-conditioning. Private deck, propane grill and private yard with fire pit.

All linens & 5 bath towels provided. Cable TV
