- "The house is lovely -- roomy, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked (linens, paper products, more than ample kitchen equipment and even some food staples.) We had a great time walking to the beaches and throughout the neighborhood, lounging in the jacuzzi, eating on the patio, and roasting marchmellows over the fire pit. One suggestion for future renters: reserve a golf cart before you arrive. We were not aware of this possiblity until we had checked in and saw several carts zipping around the neighborhood. Unfortunately, all of the carts had been reserved because of the boat races scheduled at Michigan City. Nevertheless, we had a great time. We will probably come again."

The beach toy selection was solid and our kiddos loved pulling the wagon of supplies to the beach. The walk to the beach was definitely less than 5 minutes -- even closer than we had anticipated. The beach is on the smaller side but was not at all crowded. The sunset views were indeed great. The house is also a reasonable walk to the playground. The yard across the driveway is large and we even saw a deer come through. Good food was a short drive away, and we got carryout several times. We came from central Indiana and were pleased to have found such a gem without having to travel farther north. (We had one issue but Gina handled it immediately and to our full satisfaction.) We are on a highway and you can hear cars in the front of the house but the sleeping area in the back is very quiet. Amtrak operates a 100 mph train a few times a day and you will know when it is coming, thankfully they do not run late at night with the last train about 10 PM Michigan time.

The lake level is high this year so the beaches have been reduced but we are 10 minutes from both New Buffalo and Michigan City beaches.

I would stress with one word what you will find in our cottage 'Sanitized'.

We clean this unit ourselves and do not use a service, everything is laundered and bleached, floors are 100% ceramic with throw rugs and you will find the entire home immaculate, I'm sure. You will never find any sign of a pet and we use ozone generators between guests and UV sanitation.

- "My husband and I came with two of our grandchildren, ages 3 and 4 to play at the beach. We were hoping to hang out at New Buffalo Beach, but it was very small with limited parking. We went to Warren Dunes State Park instead-a bit further to drive, but more spacious beach. Unfortunately due to weather, we only had part of 2 days at the beach. Our hosts had made suggestions of other activities to do with the kids, which we really appreciated (and needed)! The kids loved the Heston Steam train and the smaller gauge train in Indiana, Oink’s and the Galien River Trail and Lookout! Our cottage was very clean and comfortable-Jan’s flowers around all the properties and gorgeous! Den’s concrete work is cute and creative. The business next door has a huge grey tabby cat that came to visit one morning and made himself right at home on laps! The kids thought he was cute! I appreciated Jan making suggestions for groceries-very helpful and not too far of a drive. Just a suggestion: a pair of kitchen shears and sharp knife in the kitchen and a new dustpan. Beds were comfortable; we enjoyed the deck, fire pit area and the hammock! Truly appreciated Jan and Den’s property and will return."

Creekside Cottage is such a charming place, you may never want to leave. Featuring a gorgeous and private heated pool (open May 24th until Sep 30th!) This adorable home is furnished and decorated in a wonderful cottage style. The vaulted ceilings and the multiple French doors are just a couple of the features that keep the natural light flowing through each and every room. There are 3 bedroom (two master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms) and 3 baths, all on one level and now with brand new mattresses & bedding. The living room, kitchen and dining are all open to one another, enhancing the interaction between friends and family. There is a gas fireplace in the living room for those chilly fall evenings. Lots of outdoor decking as well as a beautiful screened-in porch perfect for that morning coffee. Home also features a new HVAC system with a high intensity ultra-violet light feature for killing mold and most viruses. All the amenities you would expect in a quality rental including private heated pool, gas grill, washer/dryer, internet, central AC & heat, and much more! You can walk about 3 blocks to the Marina Grand Hotel and Bentwood restaurant. About 7 blocks to the very center of New Buffalo. This cottage is located in New Buffalo and their public beach.

**Sunset Shores beaches have been impacted by storms and a couple years of harsh winters. We hope they will be back to normal by the time of your rental. (This has always been a smaller beach; there will be some, but we are hoping more of the beach to come back this Spring and early Summer) New Buffalo Beach, about one mile away and has paid parking.

Modern cottage on a wooded lot in a small private community just over a mile from downtown New Buffalo, Michigan with three bedrooms, two baths, and a wrap-around country porch that's partially screened-in. There are two bedrooms on the main floor that share a full bath. The second room on the main floor has a queen bed and its own entrance or exit to the back porch. The master bedroom on the second floor has an outside balcony and a bath with a tub and shower. The roads that wind through the trees and the natural surroundings of the area are great for short walks or bike rides. Guests have access to the Harbor Dunes Association swimming pool.

We kindly request that guests refrain from hosting large parties or family gatherings out of respect for the neighboring homeowners, many of whom reside here year-round. By fostering a sense of harmony and consideration, we can ensure that everyone enjoys a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

This property is well-maintained and equipped for the comfort and convenience of our guests. Our vacation rentals include well-equipped kitchens, living, and dining areas. Linens and towels are provided. Homes have washers and dryers, a dishwasher, central heat and air conditioning, cable/satellite television, DVD players, and high-speed Internet service.

We ask that renters bring condiments, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, extra toilet paper, and convenience items like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and zip-lock bags. We do not resupply anything during the stay. We provide two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, 4 garbage bags, and hand soap in each bathroom so plan according to your needs.

Minimum Age Limit for Renters: The guest signing the rental agreement/contract must be 30 years of age or older (ID at check-in required) and must be responsible for the group during the entire time of the stay.

The entire cottage space is included for our guests' use. Bed, bath, and kitchen linens are provided as well as kitchen dinnerware, cookware, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave oven. The only items guests really need to bring are their clothes, swimming and other sporting gear, and any food items they wish to consume during their stay. In addition to the newly remodeled bathroom inside, the outside shower provides guests the chance to rinse off al fresco upon returning from the beach. Speaking of the beach, this property comes with beach rights, so you will have access to the exclusive, beautiful beach that only neighborhood residents and guests enjoy. This beach also offers the option of having a beach fire to roast hot dogs and smores and enjoy a flickering flame under the twinkling stars at night (we will provide you with the simple directions to get a fire permit).

Welcome to Beach Bird Cottage, situated on a quiet street with other vintage cottages in the heart of Union Pier. It is an easy 5-minute walk to an association beach.

The cottage has many updates, including a new kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, outdoor shower and a wood stove. The master and second bedroom each have queen-size beds and the children's bedroom has two twin beds.

Enjoy an early swim before breakfast or have an evening beach picnic under the sunset.

Welcome to Blue Fox Cottage, just a five minute walk to beach access and in the heart of Old Grand Beach! The core of this classic Old Michigan cottage dates to 1916, with additions in the 1930s. Close to EVERYTHING, this cottage is a perfect place for relaxation and play. Splashes of vintage decor are interspersed with original design features and modern functional furnishings. This cottage is simple, charming, quirky, comfortable, full of light; Blue Fox Cottage is easy to love!

The space
Our space is simple:
The shared living areas on the upper level open to all the light of an enclosed front porch, with two living room sitting areas on either side of farmhouse style table and benches. Also on the upper level is the bathroom with claw foot tub, "mudroom" entry coming in off the side porch, and kitchen. A bedroom is located directly off the kitchen, with a king sized bed and adjoining private bathroom.

Stairs leading down from the enclosed front porch take you directly into an open loft style bunk room. On this lower level there are two bunk beds and a queen bed (which can be separated by privacy curtains, if desired), a full bathroom and laundry area.

Regarding parking at Blue Fox Cottage:
Please do not park on our lawn
There is room for TWO vehicles parked in the driveway, and - per the Village of Grand Beach Short Term Rental Ordinance - there is NO parking permitted on the street. This is strictly enforced by the Village of Grand Beach. Overflow parking is available at the Village of Grand Beach municipal area. If you will have more than two vehicles at anytime during your stay, PLEASE inform us so that we can communicate your license plate information to the Village Officer and you can park in the overflow area without being ticketed.

The Village of Grand Beach Short Term Rental Ordinance requires all rental guests to read the "Village of Grand Beach Rules, Regulations, and Restrictions" document (see below) and be registered with the Village of Grand Beach. If the required guest rental registration information (names and ages of all renters and primary renter contact phone number) is NOT received by the host at least 24 hours prior to arrival, the reservation will be cancelled without refund. The Village of Grand Beach STR Ordinance holds the hosts/owners responsible for all renters and strictly requires this information from the hosts/owners.

Noise Ordinance and Public Disturbance Ordinances:
• No person shall, in any manner, disturb the peace and goodwill of the neighborhood, which includes disturbing neighbors with excessive noise and excessively bright outdoor lighting.

Beach Rules:
• Unattended beach items may not be left on the beach overnight and may be removed by village personnel.
• In order to protect all beach goers, no glass is allowed on the beach and all refuse should be deposited in the garbage containers available at beach accesses. If the garbage containers are full, please carry garbage back home and dispose.
• No dogs on the beach between 11 am and 6 pm (EST) from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
All dog waste must be removed by owner. The State of Michigan requires all dogs to be on a leash even at the beach and all public areas.
• Beach fires allowed with permit only. Permit application available online through the Grand Beach website.

Parking:
• All wheels must be parked off the roadway and not impede the flow of traffic.
• Golf cart parking at all beach accesses require a Village of Grand Beach parking sticker. To avoid a citation, stickers must be affixed to the golf cart.
• Overflow parking for residents is available at the Village Hall.

Garbage and Recycling:
• Garbage and recycling bins should be at the edge of the street, opening facing the street, by 7 a.m. (EST) on Monday morning (Tuesday mornings following Holidays). Garbage is picked up on Monday and Friday July 1 through the week of Labor Day.
• Recycling is on Monday, every other week throughout the year, and weekly from July 1 through Labor Day.
• It is the responsibility of the homeowner to ensure that garbage is placed in secure receptacles and any litter resulting from their refuse is cleaned up in a timely manner.

Fireworks:
• Fireworks are always illegal in the Village of Grand Beach on all public lands and beaches; Fines for any violation are $1,000 per Michigan Law.
• Renters are not allowed to use Fireworks at any time in the Village.

The Birdhouse is on a quiet wooded ravine steps from restaurants, shopping and a lovely 0.7 mile walk to the beach. This home hosts 4 guests only, including infants. Enjoy a screened-in porch with views to the woods, an outdoor eating area with grill, lovely terrace with firepit and laundry room. Bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. The bathroom features a luxurious rain shower with hand shower for junior guests. To allow our cleaning crew time to prepare, we're unable to offer early check-ins.

The space
The Birdhouse is a cozy getaway that's both private and within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and beach in New Buffalo.

Located a 90-minute drive from Chicago, the Birdhouse is also accessible via Amtrak from the New Buffalo Amtrak stop, an easy 4-block walk away. The Birdhouse is ideal for a private, quiet getaway where you can enjoy wooded views from every window yet walk everywhere.

We've carefully designed our 700 square-foot cottage to make every space beautiful, private and efficient. The bedrooms are small, yet comfortable. The occupancy is for four people, including infants. The dining area is comfortable and stylish, and the sofa, loveseat and lounge chair are perfect for reading or watching a movie. The Birdhouse has a Samsung Smart TV. It gets over-the-air reception of several networks and allows you to sign in to your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and select other accounts. Our high-speed Xfinity internet has been very reliable and averages download speeds of 25Mbs+ with strong wifi coverage throughout the entire home, deck and yard.

There is a small set of stairs down to the home from the pebble driveway and there are outside stairs to the laundry room, however, the rest of the home is on one level.

The kitchen is equipped with space-saving, high-end appliances: refrigerator, electric range, toaster, blender, microwave and dishwasher. You'll find pots, pans and a Cuisinart coffee maker with a timer and insulated coffee pot for keeping that second cup of coffee warm. You’ll also find plenty of cookware, dinnerware and cutlery. Outside you'll enjoy using our Weber gas grill and the grilling tools provided. The cost of the propane is included in the cost of the rental but we ask that guests clean the grill after use with the provided brushes and grill cleaning spray.

Parents of little ones will appreciate the availability of a high chair, a pack and play and a toddler bed guardrail available upon request.

The house is situated on the side of a gentle ravine with a small, shallow stream. Under the deck, there's even an outdoor shower for a refreshing post-beach rinse.

Although we have taken every opportunity to create a safe space, parents should be mindful that our cottage is located in a wooded area filled with flora and fauna, so children should be supervised at all times and respectful of the wild turkeys, deer, rabbit, raccoons, hawks, woodpeckers and other woodland friends who live nearby. We are unable to host pets, regardless of size, breed or level of training. Please use Airbnb's filter to choose a pet-friendly rental that will work for your needs.

Please upload your government-issued ID to Airbnb to verify your identity before requesting to book. For security and insurance purposes, you must have an Airbnb profile picture that includes your face. Per Airbnb policy, we do not allow Third-Party Bookings. The person booking the reservation must be the person staying at the home and the person in contact with the host.

We are proud to be licensed as a short-term rental by the City of New Buffalo and undergo regular inspections for full compliance with city ordinances. We are also obligated to comply with all regulations for short-term rentals in New Buffalo with occupancy and parking limitations. Our certificate is posted in the Birdhouse. To comply with city ordinances, we are required to submit a Short-Term Rental Reservation Summary to the city. We must receive that information within 48 hrs of your checkin. If we do not receive the information we request within 48 hrs, we will be forced to cancel your reservation without a refund.

Occupancy is strictly limited to 4 guests, including infants and 2 cars with no exceptions.

The Birdhouse offers keyless entry. We will message you a code the day before your arrival that is valid only for the duration of your reservation. Our housekeeping team has a tight cleaning schedule so we apologize that we are unable to offer early check-ins or late check-outs.
The bedrooms are very small. There is a small space for a single, compact pack-and-play in the smaller bedroom but no space for a larger one or one in the master bedroom. A small pack and play is available on request. We offer a toddler bed guardrail as an option for toddlers. Just let us know and we'll install it prior to your arrival. We ask that you not book the Birdhouse for more than 4 guests, including infants as we will be forced to cancel. We ask that guests not remove or rearrange furniture in the house. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Our cleaning fee, which is exactly what we are charged by our outstanding local crew, covers laundering linens, cleaning and disinfecting the entire home, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, keeping outdoor spaces tidy and safe.

At checkout we ask that guests leave the beds as is and throw any used towels in the shower area. Otherwise, we ask that guests leave the home in the condition in which they found it. Guests are asked to load and start all the dishwasher, remove any food or drink they brought with them and lock the house when you leave. Guests may use the marked garbage and recycling cans at the end of the front yard next to the neighbor's garage if you wish but it's not necessary to take out the trash. All hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected between guests. All linens are washed after each stay. We provide a bottle of hand sanitizer next to the front door.

You couldn’t ask for a sweeter spot for your southwest Michigan getaway than this cozy two-bedroom cottage in New Buffalo. This 1200-square-foot home lives large, with an airy main floor, a huge enclosed sunroom, deck, and extra sleeping space upstairs in the loft. In the warmer months, grab a book and spend the morning in the sunroom. That hammock strung between two trees, just past the above-ground pool, is another likely candidate for whiling the morning away. When you get hungry, make breakfast in the well-equipped, full kitchen, and then grab one of the benches at the kitchen table to dine together.

When you decide to venture out, you’re about two miles to the New Buffalo Public Beach and only about a mile and a half to downtown New Buffalo, with its many unique shops, bars, and restaurants. Hiking and cross country ski trails are right across the street, with more only a block or so north. In the evening, screaming-fast internet will help you stream your favorite shows on the wall-mounted smart TV in the living room. Or, head out and visit one of the breweries Michigan is so well-known for, with several within 10 miles. Even better, grab your beverage of choice and head back outside to one of the two firepits to watch as the night stars fill the sky.

The madrona cottage is the perfect vacation home. You will fall in love with the cottage and the location, New Buffalo is amazing. The home has 4 full bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It will sleep 8 guests easy. Everything you need to enjoy a nice vacation is included in the place. The cottage has been completely rehabbed with all spaces being brand new. It's has a heated pool and is close to the beach. Relax by the fire or enjoy the game room with a pool table, card table and games. Great for families.

The space
This space is great for families that want to get away and enjoy the a relaxing vacation. You enter into an amazing living room with fireplace and tv. An open kitchen allows everyone to be a part of the mix. All cooking essentials included. The master bedroom is on the first floor with an en suite bathroom, marble and subway plus a rain shower create a beautiful bathroom. There is also a main floor powder room. Downstairs has a large living room with games and entertainment for the whole family. There's a queen bedroom with another full bathroom downstairs. Upstairs has 2 more bedrooms. One of them has 2 twin beds, perfect for kids. The other has a queen and a portable crib available. Both have skylights so you can see the stars. A loft with a ladder is perfect for kids to sleep in with sleeping bags ready to go. Another full bathroom is upstairs.

It's a great beach cottage. A fun community with a heated pool right there. We have beach towels for you. You can head to the pool or walk to the beach, about 10 minutes aways. We have beach chairs and everything you need.

Located 3 houses from Lake Michigan and a 5 minute drive to downtown New Buffalo, this cozy 2 bedroom cottage is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Spend the day at the beach, explore local wineries, play some of Michigan’s best golf courses, or just relax on the deck and make s’mores at sundown. There is a golf course and playground with tennis/pickle ball courts within walking distance. This cottage has it all for a perfect getaway for a couple or small family!

The space
The cozy cottage has an open floor plan perfect for comfort. There are two doors that lead to a huge outdoor deck. Both bedrooms have 2 entrances. The main bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a full and a twin bed. They are connected by a closable door when privacy is needed. The bathroom and kitchen are newly renovated.

Guests will have access to the entire property which includes the cottage and yard/fire pit. Excludes owners closets.

Welcome to the Royal Cottage! This charming cottage sits along Royal Avenue in the heart of "old Grand Beach." Its perfect location puts you in the heart of the hustle and bustle of idyllic Grand Beach. The cottage is situated just steps to the beach, and 2 blocks to the park, playground, golf, tennis, and basketball courts.

Spend the day frolicking in the Lake Michigan waters and your evening around the campfire sharing stories of the day's adventures.
