Our cottage is only half a block from downtown New Buffalo and an easy walk to Lake Michigan (3 blocks to water and 5 blocks to beach). You won't have to worry about beach parking or fighting for a spot at Redamaks or Stray Dog! Everything is a short walk away.

The cottage has two bedrooms--with a queen in one room and full/twin bunk beds in the second. In addition, the couch in the living room is a full futon, and the couch in the back porch folds into a full bed.

An unattached studio is outfitted with a very comfy daybed with a trundle that creates a full bed. Studio has electricity and internet.

The main cottage has two enclosed 3-season porches! A small one in front is the perfect place to read and relax. The enormous porch in back has floor-to-ceiling windows that allow you to take in the summer breeze while playing board games, watching a movie, or just enjoying the birds that flock to the backyard. An electric fireplace takes the chill off cool spring and fall evenings.

The cottage has 1.5 baths. The main bath has a walk in shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a double stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, and plenty of counter space. A washer and dryer is located just off the kitchen.

The cottage has high-speed internet, a PS4 game station, a Wii, and you can easily access your Netflix, iTunes, and Amazon accounts from TVs in the living room and back porch.

The cottage is kid friendly and a great escape for adults, as well.

New Buffalo is the first beachside community in Michigan's Harbor Country, only 1 hour from Chicago. It has a beautiful public beach and a large marina that makes it a boater's paradise.

Within walking distance of the cottage, you can swim in beautiful Lake Michigan and rent boats, waterskis, kayaks and paddle boards. In the winter, snowmobiling and skiing is nearby.

New Buffalo has dozens of boutiques, spas, and restaurants. Nearby are breweries, wineries, and state parks, including Warren Dunes State Park.

The Outlet Mall of Michigan City is only 10 minutes away. And the cottage is only a mile from Four Winds Casino and 10 minutes from Blue Chip Casino.

We're also close to orchards and farms that offer the finest produce in the Midwest. New Buffalo hosts a large farmer's market from May thru October.

Welcome to "One Sweet World," the newest vacation rental in White Pine, New Buffalo, Michigan. This charming home completed its main level construction in late 2023 and is ready to welcome guests.

Featuring two bedrooms with king beds and ensuite bathrooms, one with a separate soaking tub and walk-in shower, and the other with a shower/tub combo, this home is designed for comfort. The open concept living space includes a family room with a smart TV, a dining area, and a kitchen, all surrounded by picture windows offering views of the woods and fishing pond. A convenient half guest bathroom is also available. A large deck off the living room offers incredible morning views of the birds & fishing pond. Please note, the washer/dryer is located in the unfinished basement.

Note that while the home has lower and upper levels, they are unfinished and not accessible to guests.
The White Pine Resort community boasts a 45-foot pool, sun deck, walking trails, and a stocked fishing pond with a pier. Just 5 minutes from Downtown New Buffalo and public beaches, this retreat offers both tranquility and convenience.

It`s a space of simple comforts: a queen bed, cozy bunk beds, and a convenient sofa bed. The fenced yard, with its patio, bar, fire pit and grill, is perfect for relaxed gatherings. The thoughtfully updated garage game room provides an added touch of leisure.

Guests have full access to the entire home.

There is a queen size bed in the main bedroom, along with a full closet, bedside tables and a dresser.
The second bedroom features a full over full bunk bed with a pull out twin sized trundle bed underneath. We provide pillows, sheets and blankets for all of the beds.
The living room also has a great sofa that turn into a full size bed. Also a love seat that pulls out to a twin size bed. The living room is a smart tv so you can access any of your streaming apps. Don’t have Netflix? No problem we have an account set up at the house that you are more than welcome to use. So cozy up on the couch, put on a movie. (the fireplace does not work)
The kitchen is also equipped with refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, and a Keurig! Outside you will find a large deck with a table with seating for four, 4 Adirondack chairs around the backyard firepit, and a large propane grill. The detached garage has been made into a bar and game room that opens up to the backyard. Perfect for get togethers. The room features a ping pong table, a bar countertop with 8 total stools, a 50” smart tv, and ice chest with a drain so need need to empty, and several games.

New Buffalo has strict rules for short term rentals. So we have placed on camera on the front of the house that overlooks the front door and driveway. This way we can make sure we have the correct number of guest, the limit of 4 vehicles, and that there are not any parties taking place. But this is also an added safety for you as our guest. Thank you for understanding.

Guests have full access to the entire house , except the utility closet for safety reasons. The garage game room is open and you will receive a code to access the garage on the day of your arrival.

ABSOLUTELY NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 WITHOUT AN ADULT PRESENT THE ENTIRE TIME. NO EXCEPTIONS.

We are available through the app, email, or by phone during normal waking hours. We try to give guests their space and let them feel as if they are at home. We will only come to the house if need be or a guest needs our attention.

There is plenty of parking at the house. The main strip is within a 5 minute walk. 10-15 minute walk to the Stray Dog and beach. You can also go to the Grand Marina and rent bikes for just a couple bucks a day! A free shuttle bus to Four Winds Casino also makes pick ups at the Grand Marina!

Rios Mexican Grill- fantastic drive through and walk up taco stand with outdoor seating available. This is one of our favorites, highly recommend the Shell-less burrito with spicy pork and avocado. You can order ahead of time online at riosmexicangrill.com. They are located 3 blocks west and one block north on the corner of Eagle St. and W Buffalo Street (Route 12). Five minute walk or less than a minute drive

Jackie’s Cafe- Cheerful, independent eatery offering elevated American breakfast and brunch eats and a seasonal patio. Great place to walk to for breakfast and is located just one block east of Rio`s on the corner of S. Chicago Street and W. Buffalo Street (Route 12) Three minute walk.
David`s Delicatessen & Coffee- Located in the middle of downtown on the West side of Whittaker street. Known for their rueben sandwiches but also have a great constantly varying menu based on what ingredients are available from local farmers. Great place for a quick, delicious, and healthy breakfast. Organic options available. Wonderful selection of coffees and teas as well as made fresh daily pastries. Really cool atmosphere with wonderful seating inside and out. Bentwood Tavern- Waterfront dining on the New Buffalo Harbor. Artisan hand crafted cuisine crafted by local icon, Chef Jenny Drilon. We love this place. Perfect place to get dinner or start an evening out with cocktails on the rooftop bar overlooking the harbor! Located on the corner of W. Water street and N. Berrien St. inside of the Grand Marina resort. You can also rent bikes here! Fifteen minute walk or a two minute drive

Oink’s- Ice Cream Parlor and Frozen Yogurt Parlor with tons of flavors. Cash only. If you like ice cream, you like this place. Located just two blocks West and one block North on the corner of S. Smith Street and W. Buffalo Street (Route 12). Five minute walk or less than one minute drive.

The Stray Dog Bar & Grill- Bright spot with wood tables & booths. Offers New American fare & wide beer list, plus rooftop patio and bar. Another one of our favorites. Located in the heart of downtown and near the beach. Perfect place for dinner and drinks. Would give a meal recommendation but honestly everything is great. Full bar, games on tv, lively atmosphere but also family friendly. They also have a gift shop with great souvenirs. Its a must while in town. Located on N. New Buffalo Beach & Boat Ramp- local public beach. About a twenty minute walk. It’s only a few minute drive, however there is a parking fee to park at the beach. You can also walk to Marina Grand Resort a few minutes walk away and rent bicycles.

Whittaker St: Main strip of downtown New Buffalo. The place to go for all kinds of great shops and restaurants. Eight minute walk.

Black Dragon Meadery @ Promeny is right around the corner, a two minute walk.

Round Barn is less than a ten minute drive straight down highway 12.

St. Julian Winery and distillery is also about ten minutes drive down highway 12.

- "Home was clean and seems newly updated with a very well supplied kitchen. The neat round shape makes the home have a unique layout, but we had plenty of room and the furnishings were comfortable. We enjoyed the deck space, outdoor fire pit and hammock. Several game options the kids enjoyed. We did have a bit of confusion with the light switches and i believe turned off one that controlled wifi. The help line was immediately available and helped walk us through it. The neighborhood seemed safe and quiet. We walked to nearby beach access for sunsets (no parking at the access). Overall a great stay."

- "We were so excited to find a great place that didn’t require a full weeks rental. This place was newly updated beautifully. It was super clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes and the private beach was really nice and less crowded than public beaches, making it easier to keep an eye on your kiddos. It was walkable to the bakery and gelato shop in Union Pier, which was great too. The screened in patio was really nice and a must bc with all the trees around there were bugs, but this way you could enjoy being outside. The area is quiet and peaceful. There is a drip coffee maker, small fridge, microwave, toaster oven, plates, cups, etc.  It is, in essence, an efficiency kitchen.  

Does the unit have a washer and dryer?
No, the property does not have one.  The closest place is Details laundry mat in New Buffalo.  It is only about a mile away from the property across from Oinks.

"Tiny House" guest house located under large oak trees near the beach, and not far from I-94 and the Michigan state line. Vaulted ceiling, open feeling. Light and bright décor. Full bathroom, comfy couch, and other amenities. Polished concrete floor, whitewashed shiplap ceiling, hand-crafted oak furniture, suspended shelving. High ceilings, windows with southern exposure, front porch with siting chairs and a grill. Convenient charger for electric cars. Never a cleaning fee.

The space
Newly built guest house using the "tiny house" concept for compact and comfortable living space in one small building. There is a full bathroom with a shower and tub; full-sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker; living area with a large couch; and a bedroom area with a double-sized bed. There is not a full kitchen, but there is an area to prepare food with a sink, plates, bowls, utensils, etc. There is no oven or stove, but there is an electric grill for outside use. If there are three guests, one would have to sleep on the couch. Maximum capacity is four, and that would be if two of the people are small children or infants and could sleep with mom and dad or in a crib.

Highlighted by great natural lighting and window views of the woods, the entire social space is inviting and warm. Speaking of which, the Hearth Room beckons to all with its vaulted ceilings, lovely fireplace, and stylish furnishings, with all sorts of comfy seating options – plus a Smart flat-screen TV with Apple TV. We regularly hear it’s one of our guests’ favorite spots to relax and unwind together. And since we’re talking about entertainment, there’s also a record player and popular albums available for all to enjoy, along with a Bluetooth sound system.

The metro-style dining room is perfect for sharing meals together, and the roomy modern kitchen features high-end stainless-steel appliances and has all the essentials you need for whipping up some tasty vacation meals. Have at it! There’s also a super-cool screened porch with cushy rattan furniture where you can bring a delicious beverage and marvel at being surrounded by some of the Midwest’s most majestic woods.

All of the bedrooms in The High Life are comfy and stylishly decorated, and we use only premium-quality bedding and linens to ensure you and your guests get a superb night’s sleep. You can choose from a sweet outdoor dinette set with an umbrella or super-comfy outdoor chairs to relax in. There’s also a nice firepit for when you want to chill out around a fire and look up at the stars. And if anyone wants to slowly drift off in a hammock, we’ve got you covered there, too.
