Private southern facing sandy beach on West Grand traverse Bay with views of Power Island and distant views of Traverse City lights. Watch the sunrise over Old Mission Peninsula from the waters edge. Charcoal and lighter fluid are ready at the deck to BBQ on the grill. Firewood is stacked at the beach to enjoy a camp fire in the evening.
During the peak summer season, paddle along Cherry Cove on one of the kayaks or stand up paddle boards. Sit out on the beach deck or at the end of the dock or around the fire pit at night.

Main house:
Large family room centers around the natural gas fireplace with a smart TV and internet service (no cable). Linens are provided with washer and dryer. Main bedroom has a King bed and private sun room over looking a crystal clear stream. 2nd bedroom has 2 Queen beds. The kitchen / dinning area is equipped with all essentials.

This guest house is at the center of our 30 acre Gentlemen's ranch, one mile south of Suttons Bay and 1/2 mile from the Bay. The address for our location is 1624 South West Bayshore Drive (which is M-22), Suttons Bay While there is not a water view unless you are on top one of our hills, the setting is an idyllic location with panoramic valley and hill views. This house has a warm natural all wood interior with beautiful artwork, yet all the modern amenities such as wifi and satellite TV with multiple movie channels.
The grounds are professionally landscaped and maintained by the Landscape Architect owner.
There is a large open area that includes a wrap-around leather couch and a loft with two beds along with a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed with an exceptional quality mattress. It is important to note that the only access to the loft is a straight up and down ladder. Because of this if you have kids younger than five or adults older than 40 or so (depending how spry you feel) the loft is probably not for you.
There is plenty of room to park any toys (campers, boats, trailers) right on the property. The owners have a 26 foot motorboat and other water toys, so arrangements could be made for their use. If there is a need to stall your horses, or if you want to ride a horse or two, those arrangements can be made as well.
On the property is a large barn, a small barn (both for horses) along with indoor and outdoor riding arenas. Attached to the indoor riding arena is a viewing area with a pool table, bathroom and laundry.
At night, there is a firepit area to warm up on the cold Northern Michigan nights and we are far enough away from any city so that the panoramic star views are incredible.
We are only 1/2 mile away from the Suttons Bay to Traverse City trail and you could ride bikes/horses snowshoe/hike/cross-country ski in any direction from here and see wonderful water vistas and orchard/hill/valley views.
We are 30 minutes away from the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and the Homestead Resort that has skiing with hills that border on Lake Michigan.

A vintage vacation awaits you. 32 mi offshore on America's emerald isle, Beaver Island. Unspoiled. Unhurried. Unbelievable! The island is 55 square miles of gravel roads and rustic beauty. When you come to the island, you are getting away from the conveniences that city life offers and enjoying the benefits and beauty of the natural world. Take the ferry or plane from Charlevoix to experience paradise.

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious and relaxing 1 bedroom/1 bathroom guesthouse on north end of the island. Wifi. There is a smart Roku TV for streaming your online accounts, but there is no cable. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoy this quiet corner of the island, still close to town but tucked away in a wooded area. Newly built in 2017. Solid hickory floors throughout. Queen bed in the bedroom, and a queen pull out sofa in living room. Lots of seating in the living space. The kitchen has everything you need for living at home (except a dishwasher.) The apartment is located above our garage and has a separate entrance and deck. Enjoy being outdoors using the fire pit (wood bundles available for purchase at the hardware store) and gas grill. You are a short walk away from lake Michigan where you can take in the sunrise and sunset. The space is located 2 miles from town and also 2 miles from Donegal Bay, which is a wonderful beach for swimming and sunsets. Check in is at 3:00 p.m. and check out is at 10:00 a.m.

I do recommend having a car to explore the island. If you choose to bring your own vehicle over contact bibco.com (Beaver Island Boat Company) for ferry schedule and rates. You can bring your car over on the ferry and will need to make a reservation for it. They start taking reservations in January and summer dates fill up quickly as there is limited space for cars. There are two places to rent cars on the island...

Keep in mind that these are individuals who rent cars, not car companies. Our island is very dusty with its gravel roads, you may not have the same type of car rental experience that you do on the mainland. Call ahead for reservations.
The island is 13 miles long and 6 miles wide. If you are content in walking and relaxing in town, you will still have an enjoyable time. Rent bikes, kayaks or paddle boards in town and enjoy spending time on the water.

This cabin has the best view of Lake Michigan and the Chicago Skyline, inside and outside. This delightfully open cabin with two bedrooms and a perfect view of Porter Beach and Lake Michigan is nestled in the Indiana Dunes and just 53 steps away from magnificent Lake Michigan. The only thing between you and the lake is 53 stairs and a lovely sand beach. There is sleeping for 4 currently but the couch can be used to sleep 2 more people, all 3 beds are queen size. Ample seating in the living area includes dining room chairs and living room sofa with spinning chairs. The dining room table can be expanded to meet 9 persons dining needs or the leaves can be easily hidden away for a more intimate dining experience. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, Kuerig cup coffee maker, and Central Air (Furnace/Air Conditioning). All linens (bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes and dish towels, bedding) are provided. There is a full wrap around deck with chairs and a Weber propane gas grill. The beach is a public beach, about a half mile from the main Dunes State Park Beach, we have beach toys for children of all ages, footballs, spike ball, soccer balls and other beach games. This is the top level of a 2 story cabin with 2 parking spaces, there are no people staying in the basement of the property, it is unfinished. Should you want to venture beyond the beach numerous nearby attractions include Chesterton European Market (Saturdays), hiking, biking, dining, breweries, shopping, museums, art galleries, an arboretum, golfing, waterpark, farmers markets, live theatre, movie theatres, skating, bowling and much more.

This fully furnished newly remodeled cottage with large windows for your unobstructed greater than 180 degree panoramic water views. For even better views we recently installed all glass railings on the deck. Other recent upgrades include new deck furniture and full house air conditioning. You are only 50 feet from the water (10 steps down). Every room has a view of the water. The kitchen is open to the living room which allows exceptional views as well.

The cottage is immaculate. Our renter customer feedback surveys in the last few years have rated 'cleanliness' as 'outstanding' by 100% of our renters, 'location' as outstanding by 90% of our renters. In addition, 100% of our renters indicated 'our web-site description was accurate' and 100% said that 'they would consider coming back and renting from us again'.

The cottage is 6 miles south of Suttons Bay and 8 miles north of Traverse City. This cottage is located on a small side street away from any main road. A convenience store is less than a 5 minute walk. Perfectly located for the many activities of Traverse City and Leelanau County. Enjoy the beach, swim, boat, water ski, fish. A public boat launch is less than 1 mile away. Enjoy wine tasting at the many wineries only minutes away.

Several golf courses are nearby, one is located less than 10 minutes away. If you prefer live entertainment and gaming, the Leelanau Sands is a 12 minute drive away. The paved Leelanau trail (15 miles long) is great for hiking and biking is 1 1/2 miles away. The Vasa trail is a 25 minute ride away. Great Dining and shopping is also just minutes away.

The home includes a well-equipped kitchen with cooking and serving implements, charcoal grill & tools, a couple of beach chairs, wagon to transport items to the beach, linens and bath towels (not beach towels), basic bathroom (TP to start, hand soap) and cleaning items, and new appliances including: dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove, washer, and dryer!
There is wireless internet and a smart TV with the popular apps for entertainment such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon (not cable/satellite); or you could play some of the games we provided. The house sits on a large lot, about a third of an acre, with plenty of space for parking, fun & play including sports, and relaxing; especially on the wide wooden deck. When you arrive, you will be able to park right by the house on the property, up to 4 cars!
Beautiful Lake Michigan is very close to the house with beach access! There is plenty of room to bring kayaks, paddle boards, and fun beach items that you could store on the side of the house during your stay. There are trails, sand dunes, and woods of Indiana Dunes State Park and National Lakeshore Parks next door.
Property is located 45 miles from Chicago and accessible by train, South Shore Line. There is a wide variety of dining and entertainment in the surrounding area if you are inclined to explore or on a rainy day.

Gorgeous guest apartment with cherry wood flooring, high ceilings, Smart TV, pool table, fully-equipped kitchen, charcoal BBQ grill (charcoal supplied), and washer. and dryer. We now have StarLink for HIGH SPEED Internet, which is uncommon on Beaver Island. Adirondack chairs, swing and fire pit on the shore. Absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Michigan and Garden Island. World class dark skies allow for amazing star gazing. Perfect spot to view Northern Lights. Two miles from town and close to sandy beaches.
One bedroom with a Queen size bed is ideal for two guests. The queen bedroom has room darkening shades for a good night’s rest.
The guest house is completely separate from the owners’ quarters. There are no shared walls. A very large garage separates the two homes. When you are enjoying the waterfront, you will have it to yourselves.
Loons fly over the property frequently and their calls are magical. If you’re lucky, you might hear coyotes howling, but that is infrequent. You can bring or rent kayaks as well as stand up paddleboards. We do not have watercraft for your use. If you bring bicycles or kayaks, you can store them in the garage.
There is no smoking permitted inside. We take pride in our thorough cleaning and attention to detail. For example, we wash the blankets and quilts not just the sheets! Please book your stay!

In the opposite direction out the front door, another easy 3 minute walk to the public sandy shore of Suttons Bay for an afternoon or evening swim. The Caribbean blue water and sunsets do not disappoint! We're happy to share a garage full of water floats, sand toys, kayaks and life preservers as well.

When you're ready to get out and explore, some of Leelanau County's best vineyards are within a 15 minute drive, not to mention 7 minutes to Hop Lot, 20 mins to Farm Club, and 25 mins into Traverse City. The nearby Village of Suttons Bay is a vibrant, creative community offering convenient and quality groceries at Hansen Foods, unique local shops, restaurants, bayside parks, a theater, bike and boat rental, trailheads, and much more. We'll be happy to provide recommendations to the best of what Leelanau County has to offer if you desire them.

The WCC is on a peaceful side road, with large yard space and mature trees perfect for hammock lounging. One hammock provided, bring more if you wish! The rear patio offers a large dining table, Weber grill, and outdoor lounge area. Facing west and with beautiful sunset views is the fire pit. Cornhole boards, croquet set, and other yard games can be found in the garage.

We love our neighbors at The Watercolor Cottage, and the serenity that everyone who comes here experiences. OUTDOORS:

You will want to spend plenty of time on the huge deck that is the length of the backside of the house, enjoying views of the mountain. In addition, no matter the weather enjoy a cup of coffee or hot cocoa in the hot tub with a tremendous mountainside view!
Prepare dinner for your friends and family on the gas grill and later on, you can head out to the cozy fire pit and stargaze or watch the skiers go down the mountain! The views are spectacular here!

After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition or your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon your arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for your health reasons.

INDOOR LIVING:

Each bedroom is equipped with a flat-screen Roku Smart TVs. We also have a wood-burning fireplace that you can warm up next to after your day on the ski slopes.

Come soak in the hot tub after a long day skiing in Northern Michigan! This cozy house is a set in a quiet neighborhood, close to the local schools, parks, tennis courts, beach or a short drive to Boyne Highlands or Nubs We are a small, but busy family.

The space
Please note, this small house is home to myself, 2 kids and two furry friends most of the year. We are not originally from Northern Michigan, so we rent the space out while we travel to visit our family and friends, or while #vanlifeing in our Sprinter camper van. We are happy to share our home and love to be able to take part in your family adventures!! As you will notice when you arrive, one of the bedrooms is always a dedicated 'Guest Room', while the other two bedrooms are typically used as our bedrooms. We do our best to put our things away or aside to give you the best possible experience while staying in our home. We do a thorough cleaning, but please keep in mind, unlike a typical hotel, our family pets live here :) If anyone has severe dog or cat allergies, make note of this and make the best decision if this is for you!

If needed, the loveseat in the family room converts to an extra bed, making the suite flexible for additional guests or kids.

The suite does not include access to our main kitchen, but your private dining nook is stocked with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and basic dishes for simple meals and snacks.

We respect your privacy—if we ever need to access the mechanical, utility, or laundry rooms, we’ll let you know in advance and keep it brief.

Located in one of the most convenient areas of Milwaukee, you’ll be within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, local shops, parks, Lake Michigan, and the public library.

Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway, work trip, or extended visit, this suite provides a comfortable home base to relax and recharge.

Guest access
You’ll have free parking in front of the garage. Large vehicles may park on the street for free, but you need to register with the village. Just ask for the registration link if needed.

Entry is through the backyard, where you’ll use a smart lock at the back door. From there, you’ll pass through a small area, separated from our main living spaces by a door and curtain.

During your stay
We live upstairs, but the basement suite is fully private. You’re welcome to keep to yourself or reach out if you’d like recommendations, directions, or assistance. We’re happy to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Other things to note
Because this is a 1940s-era home, the original wood floors upstairs have some character—you may occasionally hear them creak from the basement, though we do our best to keep things quiet. Ceiling heights in the suite are generally around 6’10”, with a few spots where they drop to about 6’1”.

We also have a cat upstairs, but rest assured, the suite is thoroughly cleaned before each stay, and our feline friend won’t enter your space.

The space
This space is perfect for visitors looking to stay in a quiet village close to a major shopping mall, restaurants and of course Lake Michigan. The room is large with hardwood floors, a t.v., Wi-Fi, an armoire, walk-in closet and en suite bathroom featuring a jetted soaking tub and corner glass shower. If you enjoy espresso, you are welcome to start your day with one (Italian breakfast, sorry no German breakfast). Colectivo is the local purveyor of coffee and they have a great bakery. I prefer their location in the village of Shorewood - see my Guidebook for details. My kitchen is available for your use with storage for food in the pantry and refrigerator. Otherwise, there are restaurants (Kopp's Frozen Custard is a Milwaukee classic) as well as a variety of fast food places near the shopping mall.

THE OUTDOORS:
All within minutes on foot or by bicycle: The Oak Leaf Trail, Milwaukee River Trails, McKinley Marina, Big Bay Park, Atwater Beach, Urban Ecology Center, Bradford Beach, Lake Drive historic architecture, outdoor German beer garden at Estabrook Park and the newly renovated Bavarian Bierhaus in Glendale and of course, Lake Michigan where an early morning sunrise is only a 15 minute walk from my house.

BUS:
The bus stop is 5 minutes away on foot and will take you into the city.

BICYCLE:
I suggest renting a bicycle (I have one that I will rent to you for a nominal fee) to get around if you don't have a car.

CAR:
If you have a car, there is free off-street parking available or I will get you an overnight parking permit free of charge.

Guests will have access through the front door which immediately leads upstairs to the guest room w/en suite. The kitchen and garden deck are also available to be enjoyed!

If you are interested in sightseeing in Chicago, there are several daily trains that leave Milwaukee. It is easy to leave in the morning and spend the day in downtown Chicago, returning in the evening.

Private bedroom and bath in lovely home in a quiet, safe, upscale suburb of Milwaukee. My home is close to beautiful Lake Michigan, with easy access to downtown Milwaukee and surrounding areas via car, bike, or public transportation. Dining, shopping, and recreational activities are nearby. Guests have use of common spaces of house, including kitchen.

This is a cozy little completely rebuilt and remodeled mobile home in the country. All new flooring, walls, electrical, plumbing, windows and doors. The home audio system is unbelievably amazing. The night sky is beyond beautiful with so many stars you'll lose count. Perfect location between local golf courses, the lakes. 8.7 miles away is Boyne Mountain for your skiing and snowboarding needs all winter long. Couch sleeps two, 1 king size bed in master bedroom. Full kitchen and laundry.

Upon arrival and check-in, guests will be provided a brief tour and orientation of the home by the host, Shari. At which time, a front door lock code and a separate guest room door lock code will be provided to you which will remain valid for the entirety of your stay.

PARKING: Please only park on the pavement on the right-hand side of the house/garage, pulling forward far enough to not have any part of your vehicle blocking the turnabout space in front of the garage. There is enough space for two cars to park side-by-side, so please be considerate of using only one space for your vehicle.

Please respect quiet hours between 10:00 p.m. (22:00) and 7:00 a.m. (07:00). There is no smoking anywhere on property; which includes inside the house, the front and back porches, and the driveway. Please only eat upstairs in the loft or downstairs at the dining table to avoid food stains on the bedspreads and blankets. Coffee, or tea, and a homemade Shari Bar (my take on a granola-type bar and, sorry, the recipe is a family secret that’s as jealously guarded as Colonel Sanders’ 11 herbs and spices 😉) will be provided each morning of your stay. The bathroom for the Twin Bed bedroom is downstairs, and it is private for your use only during your stay. I also have one other Airbnb listing in this home. So, be aware that it may be occupied during part or all of your stay. I have complimentary Wi-Fi in the house and you will be provided a QR code for access upon check-in. Permission to use the kitchen will be allowed as long as this privilege is respected (e.g., do not leave a mess, dirty dishes, et cetera, for someone else to clean up). IMPORTANT: This house may very well not be suitable for young children due to it having an upstairs railing that overlooks a 25' vaulted ceiling, as well as an outdoor koi pond. Guests must be capable of climbing stairs, as all bedrooms and the guest living room are located upstairs.

Guest Room Climate Control Information

This guest room does not have a dedicated HVAC vent. However, the house is equipped with central heating and air conditioning, as well as with ceiling fans upstairs (which is where the guest room is located). To ensure optimal comfort, especially during periods of extreme heat, I suggest leaving your guest room door open during the day to allow cool air from the rest of the house to circulate effectively. If you opt not to do this, just be aware that the bedroom will heat up during the day, and it will take some time for the residual heat to dissipate when you return to your room. For additional airflow, a floor fan is also provided in the room for your convenience.

Cozy two room suite 1/4 block from downtown Suttons Bay. Easy access to many shops, restaurants, and across the alley from Scoops ice cream shop. Two block walk to wonderful beach, park and harbor. You’ll be within easy driving distance to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Michigan State Parks, Whaleback Natural area, Fishtown, Cherry Repubic, wineries, breweries, cideries, bike rental and much more.

Enclosed deck/porch adds a room to your available space, Amenities like fast wifi and a dedicated workspace , Smart tv in living room with pull out Queen size inflatable sofa bed extra comfortable, kitchenette, includes microwave, small refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, toaster,assorted dishes, coffee cups, utensils. This suite is a separate space in a shared house, guests are separate from adjacent unit and do not share or interact within the house, although there is a common wall which could allow voices or other noise to pass thru. **This suite is private but Not sound proof-the house manager lives in other unit. We always try to be respectful of normal sound expectations during our guests stay. There is an outdoor screened in porch that is exclusively used by our guests in this unit.

This basement suite is just north of Milwaukee in an idyllic neighborhood with all the amenities. Bus, bike, or jog on the Oak Leaf trail to downtown. You have your own area to relax after a day of convention, festival, Brewer game, sight-seeing or recreation.

There are two twin beds that can be joined to make a king or separated for personal space. The bathroom is yours alone and there is a shared laundry facility. Kitchen and grill usage can be coordinated. Restaurants less than a block away

The space
This is a home in the historical neighborhood of Whitefish Bay. Main street is one block away which offers restaurants, bars, grocery and shopping.

There is a semi private entrance that immediately takes you downstairs to your private basement suite.

During your stay
As the owner, I live upstairs with one other person. We are quiet and unobtrusive people who like to host but respect guests privacy. Interaction could occur entering and exiting the home.

Other things to note
There are two cats in the household. They are not allowed in your area but will be around. I do not recommend staying here if you have cat allergies. The guest area is not well suited for young children.
