We have a pond with a waterfall and a deck to enjoy both. Enjoy the fire pit and tree swing, walking trails and 2 acre open field. There is a 1/2 court basketball, beach supplies in the front closet.

Prime season (Late May-Mid September) requires a minimum stay of one week (7 nights). Weeks are Sunday to Sunday. The 2026 prime season weekly rate is $3395 for up to 8 people.

Rates do not include 6% MI occupancy tax or a refundable security deposit (see VRBO at check out). Additional fee for dogs (maximum of 2) is $28 per dog, per day or $175 per dog, per week; inquire with owner on pet details and rules.

Nestled near quaint Grand Mere Park, you'll be steps from the beach, sand dunes, fishing, walking trails, and parks. This cottage is close to the dozens of wineries and craft breweries in southwest Michigan. After you enjoy all Grande Mere has to offer, you can relax on the large screened-in porch, or prepare dinner in the spacious, modern kitchen. This cottage boasts an open, airy floor plan, and two cozy bedrooms, so you can have a great night's rest after fun-filled Lake Michigan days. The cottage sleeps up to 6 adults with 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. While this cottage is not lakefront, it is only a 5 minute walk from Lake Michigan public beach access. We are located off I-94 just a short 90 minutes drive from Chicago, 2.5 hours from Detroit and 3 hours from Indianapolis.

Please note that current water levels have caused some erosion on the nearest public beach as several trees fell into the water. Most of these trees have been cut and cleared but there are still some portions of the trees/brush on the beach. The beach is still accessible and useable, however it is not as picturesque due to the erosion. There are also two other beaches very close: (1) Lincoln Township Beach which is about 1.5 miles away at 3655 N Lake Path, Stevensville and (2) Grand Mere State Park which is 1 mile away. Note that at Grand Mere State Park it is about a 15 minute walk from the parking lot to the beach. Other great beaches in the area are Silver Beach in St. Joseph and Weko Beach in Bridgman.

The beach is still useable and the beach conditions could change at any time based on the weather and tides.

Your safety is a main concern. A MAXIMUM OF 10 GUESTS, 10 MAXIMUM INCLUDING INFANTS/TODDLERS.
- Only pet dogs are accommodated.
- Please do not wear shoes inside the home.
- No parties or events, an extra $500 cleaning fee will be applied if a party is thrown.
Check-in is at 4PM or after by Smartlock and check-out is at 10:30AM. Guest agrees that failure to vacate the premises within the specified timeframe or at the end of the Guest’s scheduled stay shall be deemed trespassing, and Owner shall be afforded all protections, rights, and remedies available at law or in equity to any property owner against a trespasser. In addition, Guest shall incur a fee of $150 per hour for each hour Guest remains on the premises. The hourly fee shall accrue without limitation, be invoiced daily, and become immediately due and payable upon receipt of the invoice.
- Please observe quiet hours from 10pm-8am out of respect for our neighbors.
- There is absolutely no smoking or vaping in the house or garage. If you smoke outside, please pick up the butts and dispose of safely.
- There are security cameras present on the exterior for security and guest safety. Do not move or tamper with them.
- The base cleaning fee covers basic cleaning. Additional fees may apply if anything is damaged by more than “normal wear and tear” by dirt, spills, bodily fluids, etc. for using extra cleaning methods.
- For your convenience, we have left detergent for both the dishwasher and washing machine. Please take all bags of trash out to the outside trash bin.
- If anything is broken or damaged or simply isn't working properly, please report it to us ASAP.
- The twin beds (triple bunk) are for children only. No one over 12 (or above 120 lbs ) is allowed on the top bunk. Combined weight for bunkbed should be no more than 250 lbs between bottom and top bunk.
- It is always recommended that you get travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

-Please shower before and after using the hot tub to protect linens.
-Use at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. We are not responsible for accidents or injury.
-Local ordinances require the hot tub cover be replaced and securely strapped when not in use to prevent entry by young children and to keep it heated.
-Spa cover is not designed to support weight. Please do not stand or sit on hot tub cover.
-Do not enter if the temperature is above 104 F
-No glass in or near hot tub
-No jumping, diving or pets
-Limit your hot tub time to 15 min and cool off before using again. Long exposure may result in nausea, dizziness or fainting.
-Warning: Please consult a physician before using if you are elderly, pregnant, have diabetes, heart disease, high or low blood pressure, any illness or if taking prescription medications.
-Please do not use hot tub if you have diarrhea or any disease transmittable by water.

- The Guest and all persons listed under them on this Agreement understand that their rental of this property is at their sole risk and hereby agree to indemnify, completely and fully release and hold harmless the Owners, Property Management, their agents and employees, and the property, against any and all claims of personal injury, including death, or property damage, or loss, including but not limited to all attorney’s fees incurred, arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury, death or loss, regardless of what causes such injuries, or damage, including those of any third persons. In the event Owner files suit to enforce its rights under this Agreement, Guest will be responsible for paying any attorney fees incurred by Owners in connection therewith.
- Except as stated herein, the Guests are renting the premises in its As-Is condition upon check-in date and agrees to take good care of said premises. This care includes not making any alterations, additions, repairs or improvements and/or any removal of the Owner’s personal property from the premises without the approval of the Owner/Agent. While all electrical and mechanical equipment within the Property are in good working order, Owner cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of electrical service, stopped plumbing, water supply, heating, air conditioning, audio visual equipment, internet access, or appliances. Guest agrees to report any inoperative equipment or other maintenance problem to Owner immediately. Owner will make reasonable efforts to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. About this space
The Coach House is in an eclectic neighborhood on Lake Michigan. Grand Mere State Park is a year around beautiful place for hiking by small lakes and through beautiful sand dunes. A small beach is a 2 minute walk away. The family room and kitchen face Lake Michigan with lots of windows. The house has a queen bedroom, queen pullout in family room, and laundry. A gas FIRE PIT and a HOT TUB are located on the back patio directly on Lake Michigan with a spectacular view behind the main house.
The space
The coach house is on the Lake with a view of Lake Michigan. It has a full kitchen a living room with a queen pullout and a queen bedroom and bath. Grand Mere State Park is very close containing 985 acres of dunes, trails and several thousand feet of beach. Hiking, cross country skiing, and fishing are available in the park. Two small beaches are a 5 minute walk nearby along with 12 minutes away more than a mile of beach to walk in Grand Mere State Park.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire house including the bedrooms. The laundry room is also available to you. The hot tub and the fire pit are behind the main house and are shared with the main house. The fire pit is not available in the snow.
Other things to note
Stay away from the edge of the bluff in the winter because if it is icy it could be very very dangerous if you slip.

Accessing the house during any and all hours is simple thanks to our keypad entry on site. So don't sweat that late night arrival!

To get to the house, you’ll turn off of Red Arrow Hwy and head down a steep gravel road called Willow Road that takes you back into our long wooded lot.

We recommend keeping your Prius at home if you're visiting us in the winter. The steep road down to our home can occasionally be a challenge in the snowy months, but typically an SUV can conquer it.

Please note that property is secluded but not far from a major interstate. So road noise can be heard. Most people never notice. Some love it, some don’t. There are sound machines in each bedroom just in case.

There is an open staircase with no handrails that can be very dangerous for babies/toddlers. Please keep them close if you do decide to visit.

Silver beach (Saint Joseph) is one of the 10 best beaches in Michigan and it only took us about 15 minutes to get there. Saint Joseph is a must see. Gorgeous beach town. Spacious cozy cabin for two. This is the main level of our beautiful cabin located in a quiet area on two acres next to Grand Mere State Park. Relax in the hot tub and enjoy the peaceful outdoor setting. The main floor includes a master bedroom with en-suite bath and shower. Full kitchen, living room with gas fireplace, and half bath. Maximum of two guests. Must be 25+ to book. Pets welcome for an additional fee.

Other things to note
We're offering the main level of our cabin to couples to enjoy during the week and off season. The house sleeps up to 22 guests which we rent on weekends and during the summer. No one else will be staying at the house during your visit. The basement door will be locked and there will be a gate leading to the upstairs that we ask you not to pass, so you will have complete privacy.

We accept one pet for an additional pet fee of $50 per stay. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or bedding and must be crated when left alone. Guests must also clean up after them outside.

Guests are expected to respect the house and leave it as they found it.

The Red Barn Lodge is a few minutes from orchards, beaches and vineyards. The converted barn combines the convenience of modern kitchen and bathroom within a spacious loft. Owners will welcome guests when they arrive and give a tour of the property. The fall colors are beautiful, and there is hiking and cross country skiing in nearby state parks.

A very unique property located between Bridgman and Stevensville—-easy access to Lake Michigan, Warren Dunes, Weko Beach, Grand Mere, and all the wineries and breweries, most of which are within 10 miles!

The space
Amazing space with great history—and a fabulous location ‘in the country’, but about halfway between Bridgman and Stevensville so easy access to so many great beaches, wineries, breweries, restaurants, and a whole lot more! You can only scratch the surface of what the area has to offer in a weekend, and will make more of a dent ina week! The space offers two large bedrooms with closets, a living room/dining room combination and a large kitchen with a separate dining table. A bathroom with shower will amaze you in its design!! A large backyard with a firepit offers you night time relaxation opportunities!! This is a space to remember—and my hope is that you’ll want to come back! You can also rent this space with the adjacent 3BR for a full 5BR/3BA property—-this is set up as another listing soon! Or, if you need slightly more room than this property, there is a 3BR/1BA or the same 3BR that incorporates a studio to give you a 3BR/2BA—-those two properties are currently listed, and days, weekends, and weeks are getting booked!

Other things to note
I allow up to TWO DOGS at the property for a dog fee of $20/dog/night for small dogs under 50 pounds, and $30/dog/night for large dogs over 50 pounds. You must let me know the AGE, WEIGHT and BREED of dog if you wish to bring your dog or dogs. For monthly renters, the dog fee is $200/dog/month for small dogs, and $300/dog/month for large dogs. PETS DO NOT STAY FOR FREE, but airbnb has not set up a method for charging by the night.

When available, early check in on your date of arrival is offered for $50, and you may arrive anytime after 8 AM. (Regular check in is after 3 PM.) When available, late checkout is also offered for $50, and you may checkout as late as 6 PM on the date of your departure. (Regular checkout is no later than 11 AM.) YOU MUST PRE-ARRANGE AND PAY FOR AN EARLY CHECK IN OR LATE CHECKOUT PRIOR TO YOUR STAY which is invoiced to you thru Airbnb. Early check in and late checkout are NOT available on dates that you arrive when guests are checking out, or when new guests arrive on the date you are checking out.
