Enjoy over 200’ of private lake frontage on all sports Thornapple Lake with plenty of parking and a large yard for your favorite yard games. The deck and covered porch are roomy and inviting and provide both table and lounge seating for everyone! There are 2 kayaks to adventure around the lake or float down the river into town. The lake is quaint and quiet. There are 2 separate boat launches within minutes of the house if you decide to bring your own boat.

With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, everyone will enjoy their own space. The upstairs hosts a private master suite with its own balcony overlooking the lake. The second bedroom has a queen bed and private full bathroom. The third bedroom has two queen beds and an adjacent bathroom.

Thornapple Lake is a 400-acre all sports lake. The Thornapple River flows through the lake from east to west.
Historic Charlton Park is located directly across the lake from the house by boat or just around the corner by car. There is a public boat launch and public beach and is a great place to walk, bike, picnic and enjoy the natural surrounds.

Hastings is 7 miles to the west and hosts a handful of great places to eat and the downtown area is a social district with lots of shops, brewery and restaurants to visit. There is also a Walmart, TJ Max, Apple Bees, Walgreens, movie theater, bowling alley, parks, and antique stores.

Thornapple Plaza hosts live music during the summer months and there is always a summer event going on down town!

Located just 40 minutes southeast of Grand Rapids, home has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, formal dining room and sits on a quiet dead end road with A/C. French doors from living room open to the lake, you feel like you are outside even when you're not. Water is just 30 feet from house and typically has a nice breeze all year long.

2008 Pontoon boat (fits 10 people) available to rent - $1,700/week, or $250/night prorated for nights stayed if less than 1 full week.

Lake has sandy bottom and is shallow (1-3 feet deep typically) at shore until approximately 50 feet out where it drops to greater depths, perfect for smaller children and adults who want to float and have fun. Lake is also great for fishing and boating.

We were only really there at night but it was perfect for wat we needed. The house is spacious but cozy, the beds were comfortable and the fenced in yard was great for our dogs. We have an open-door policy.
This means you can add guests up to and including after your arrival.
The fees for your guests will be calculated after you decide your done adding or inviting guests and giving us your final total.
Extra guests are $25 per night and a 1 time prep clean and linen fee $20 per person less what you already pay in your original requested fee typically $20 to note the per person rate ideally a red flag to note it`s still due because of such a low amount.
This can be deducted or will be taken from your deposit if not paid along with any damages or not cleaned or missing items.
We prefer to clear this up before your arrival if your open-door guests` numbers are certain, however we can wait until 24 hours before check-out if you prefer and need time to get your open-door numbers finalized.

Please ensure that outdoor umbrellas are closed when not in use; a $50 fine will be imposed for any damage incurred. Fireworks are strictly prohibited without exception. Non-compliance will result in neighbors contacting law enforcement, and you will be required to vacate without a refund. Propane tanks cost $30.00 each, plus a $40.00 deposit.. POOL is very large spanning 16 feet wide by 36 feet long. The pool depth is 3.5 feet deep in the shallow end by the deck to 8 feet deep on the opposite end.

*PLEASE NOTE: A pool ladder has been added for easy in and out access to the pool.

The pool deck has a lockable safety fence to keep children and pets out of the area when not in use.

Guests will have access to the large private pool, 2 car garage, A-frame home, & large yard, garden, and kitchen herb garden on the deck.

*There is parking onsite for 10 cars.

You are welcome to help yourself to the wild strawberry patch next to the house. They are delicious! Also, the herb kitchen garden on the deck has every herb you can think of. Please let us know if we are missing any and we will add ASAP!

We have an extraordinary garden for your viewing pleasure. Our gardener, Cheryl, is 80 years young and has gardened for the Meyer and Bissell families. We feel very blessed to be one of her 10 remaining clients. Please enjoy and know we are so happy we can share this with you. :-)

We love hosting new guests, for security reasons, we just need to ensure you are real. You must provide a valid photo ID, or we may have to refuse your booking. By booking, you confirm you’re at least 25 years old—because we like to keep things above board, not a college dorm party.

The number of people on the property should match the number on your reservation. If you’re planning to invite extra guests, let us know at least 24 hours before they show up.

Please respect the check-in and checkout times listed in your reservation—unless you’ve already worked out a different plan with us ahead of time.
Need an earlier check-in or a later check-out? We got you! Just keep in mind, we can only confirm this 24-48 hours before your arrival, as it depends on the guests checking in or out before/after you. But here’s what’s available:

Furry Friends & Service Animals:

Pets stay with us for $50 per pet. Please just let us know if you’re bringing along your furry friend, so we can ensure everything is all set.

We love your furry pals, but they need to be house-trained before they check in. (No one wants an impromptu “indoor water feature” on the rug.)

Our beds and couches are super comfy, but we kindly ask your pet to respect the boundaries.

Please scoop up after your pets and we kindly request that they not be left unattended.

If your pet does decide to redecorate with some furniture damage or starts a neighborhood concert (aka noisy complaints), we’ll have to ask you to foot the bill for repairs.

Cleanup:

Please leave the property in the same condition as when you arrived.

Dispose of all trash in the correct receptacles outside (they’re clearly marked, so no need to guess). If you use the wrong one, you might discover an unexpected fine.

Leave furniture where you found it or move it back if you do.

Before you go, turn off all lights, shut windows, and lock the doors. Think of it like tucking the house in for the night.

Smoking:

SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE PROPERTY. There’s a $1,000 charge if you’re caught smoking indoors or if we can still smell last night’s smoke after you’ve checked out (we’re very sensitive like that and the next guests checking in may be too). Feel free to light up outside, but be a good sport and please dispose of your cigarette butts properly. Let’s keep the property looking and smelling fresh. We appreciate you!

Party Glitter + Confetti:

PARTY GLITTER OR CONFETTI IS NOT ALLOWED. Sure, glitter and confetti are the life of the party, but they’re also the nightmare of cleanup. It’s like trying to catch a rainbow in a vacuum cleaner.

If you bring glitter or confetti inside the property (or anywhere on the premises), we’ll charge you a $250 fee. Consider it a "glitter tax" for making us battle with tiny sparkly bits for days.

Photoshoots:

No professional photos or videos allowed without BANGTEL’s prior written permission. We love a good Insta moment, but if you’re planning to turn the property into your personal photo studio, please give us a heads up first! Make sure to let us know before booking or right after, and we'll let you know if special rates, fees, or conditions apply.

If a photo or video shoot happens without our approval, we’ll charge a fee at our discretion. Not sure if your photography is a professional shoot? Don’t worry, we’re happy to review your work! We promise we’re more lenient than magazine editor, but we still need to know what’s going on behind the lens.

Special Occasions:

Planning to host an event, like a wedding, corporate function, bridal party, or any shindig involving guests not listed in your reservation? Well, unless you're planning a surprise "Party of the Year" with us as your co-host, you’ll need prior written permission from BANGTEL. No impromptu events—this isn’t the venue for a flash mob, no matter how fun that sounds!

Additional fees apply for hosting special occasions, so let us know in advance and we’ll work out the details. We love a good celebration, but we also love keeping property in tip-top shape.

Be a Good Neighbor:

Please respect the other tenants and neighbors—after all, we're all in this together. Please respect the wildlife, woodland serenity, and neighbors by keeping the fun and outdoor music to a minimum after 10 PM.

Bunk Beds:

Heads up—this unit may contain bunk beds, and while they’re perfect for feeling like a kid again, they do come with a little responsibility. By using the bunk beds, you agree to hold the host harmless for any damage or injury caused by your daring, gravity-defying moves.

The swimming pool spa is designated for use exclusively by your group in two-hour intervals, as per the schedule outlined in the calendar following the manufacturer`s recommendations. When the cover is open or the privacy nets are drawn, it indicates that the spa is currently in use by a group, either from your party or from the neighboring house. The shared areas include kayaks, canoes, rowboats, a swim beach, three docks, volleyball and basketball courts, trash disposal, and a free wood pile located by the dumpster. Please ensure that outdoor umbrellas are closed when not in use; a $50 fine will be imposed for any damage incurred. Fireworks are strictly prohibited without exception. Non-compliance will result in neighbors contacting law enforcement, and you will be required to vacate without a refund. Propane tanks cost $30.00 each, plus a $40.00 deposit.. - "Overall positive experience. Lake access was nice along with the hot tub. The house had lots of beds and access. No issues with the neighborhood. Property is under construction but was communicated in the messages. The automatic communications can be a bit much and confusing but just confirm your group size, date and time and the rest can be put on the back burner. The houses are older cottages and not in perfect repair (some soft wood on deck steps, a loose closet door, dryer not working) but that was ok as it meant we didn’t worry about kids breaking things or needing to keep stuff perfect. The public beach is walking distance. This would be an awesome place to have a group of friends party, however it can’t be used for that. It has to be more low key, there is an overnight rental below the loft.

Welcome to your lakeside escape, perfect for any season! This cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bath cottage sits directly on Jordan Lake with everything you need for an unforgettable getaway, whether relaxing by the water or diving into lake adventures.

This peaceful retreat is minutes from downtown, where you can enjoy charming antique shops, a delicious bakery, beach volleyball, bowling, and fun at Buddy’s on the Beach!

What You’ll Love:

The Space:
Inside, you’ll be delighted with three comfortable bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a full bath with tub, and a bright living space with a sleeper sofa complete with stunning lake views. You’ll also find a brand new TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, a variety of puzzles and games, and an electric fireplace to make cloudy days brighter. It’s the perfect blend of casual comfort and outdoor adventure.

Guest Access:
You’ll have full access to the home, the private dock, hot tub, kayaks, a paddle boat, and the fire pit. An additional shower and toilet are available in the laundry area for your convenience.

The second shower and toilet are located in an unfinished laundry area and are functional but not part of the main finished area.

Beach/Lake:
As you may know, Michigan lakes and shorelines can naturally vary throughout the season. While we view our lake as swimmable and many guests enjoy taking a dip off the dock, the shoreline can have seaweed or feel a bit mucky underfoot. If you're used to pristine sandy beaches, this may feel different, but if you’re up for a classic lake experience, we think you’ll love it here!

Prefer a more traditional beach day? There’s a groomed beach and swimming area just a few miles away downtown!

Whether you’re looking for lazy days by the lake, outdoor adventure, or cozy evenings under the stars, our home is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to host you!

This home is located on an all sports lake, Jordan Lake! It has been completely remodeled with a clean beach vibe and is located directly between Lansing and Grand Rapids! You can drive your boat right over to the restaurant, Buddies on The Beach, and enjoy a tasty meal or a drink. There is a public beach with volleyball nets, park for kids, pavilion for events and so much more!

If you choose to bring your dog(s) please add them to your guest count. If we find that you've brought an uncounted for we will request payment as soon as possible or your reservation will be canceled immediately.

Michigan lakes differ during certain times of the year. We believe our lake is swimmable however, not everyone may believe so. This is a hard category for us to decipher for you.

Located 7 miles off I-96, and within 45 minutes from Grand Rapids, Lansing, Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, this home boasts space to accommodate up to 4 families under one roof! 4 bedrooms, each can sleep 3-4 people with multiple beds. The space
Our home is extremely clean and modernly updated. A large well appointed kitchen, dining room and breakfast nook area along with deck furniture allow plenty of space for seating and eating. Living room features large sofa and Roku TV mounted above gas fireplace. Sleeping areas are all upstairs so those who rise early don’t disturb late sleepers. Each of the 4 bedrooms have multiple beds and there are 2 full bathrooms on the upper level, with another half bath on the lower level. Basement laundry is available for guest use.

The bottom of the lake in front of our house is gravel/sand like with very few weeds and no muck. It’s perfect for picky simmers. Our dock features stairs with a railing for easy in and easy out with your youngest swimmers, a double jetski lift and plenty of space for you to dock your boat (rentals are available through 3rd party, inquire with owner!). Dock is in the water from April-November.

Parking is free and available in driveway, on the street in front of the house (except for winter months) or in a public lot just steps away down the block.

The famous Buddy’s beachfront restaurant and bowling alley is a one block walk away. Location offers easy walking to other restaurants, grocery and downtown shopping. We have 4 Kayaks, water mat, floating dock, slide, and a fire pit all included with your stay.

All parking is free of charge and steps away from the front door of the Beach Cottage. From April 1 to October 31, parking is allowed 24/7 on the street in front of the house. From November 1 to March 30, overnight parking is available in a public lot directly across the street, shared by the Beach, and is about a 30 second walk from the front door.

Smoking and vaping are outside only please. Neighborhood quiet hours are 10pm-7am.

Beach Daze is a lakefront home on Jordan Lake. This is a private 6 bedroom 2,700 square foot home that comfortably sleeps 14-16 people. Lake Odessa will leave you feeling far from reality but close to everything. Located directly between Lansing and Grand Rapids you can take a short drive to the big city or relax locally. Patio area with a 7 person hot tub, beach towels, beach chairs, gas grill, fire pit, two kayaks, yard games, and beach toys.

Bedroom 1 and 4 will have locked closets and some cabinets will be locked. But don’t worry we have provided clothing hangers and shelves in those rooms for clothing and there are plenty of cabinets remaining for your use.
