New in 2023 - access to the Lincoln river by way of a woodchip defined path through the woods! It is approximately 200 steps to a small footbridge over a spring fed creek, then an additional 200 steps to a boardwalk with a floating dock on the Lincoln river. There are 4 kayaks on a stand by the river access. By making land management and accessibility to the natural beauty of the property a priority, our guests are now able to enjoy nature in a unique way. The land provides a serene setting for kayaking, bird watching and often catching a glimpse of a white-tailed deer!

Even extras for babies/toddlers that we didn't need but nice for future guests to know about. It really seemed like the owners thought ahead to make things more convenient & take advice from guests well as i noticed some things that were mentioned in past reviews are now provided. We would highly recommend staying here. The house was perfect for us & we very much enjoyed the Ludington area as well. We truly had a fantastic vacation."

Directly located on the quiet Middle Bayou of Hamlin Lake with direct access to the main body of Hamlin Lake. Several boat ramps within 1 mile. Private dock in your front yard. Bridge water depth is about 2.5 feet, and clearance is about 6-7 feet. If you have a tall antenna or high top, they may need to be removed to clear under the bridge.

Sleeps 6 (Max 5 adults): Queen bed in one bedroom, twin xl over queen bunk in 2nd bedroom. The setup will work much better for couples sharing the cottage, yet still provide a great setup for families. Total sleeping capacity will be 6 which includes the pull-out sleeper(single bed). Fully furnished with bed linens, towels, shampoo, soaps, TP, and even firewood. Just bring your personal items, maybe some charcoal for the grill, and relax.

Sweetwater Cottage is owned and operated by two area artists. The cottage has been completely renovated with both comfort and aesthetics in mind.
The cottage features all necessary amenities to make guests feel right at home and able to have a full vacation experience.
Boat rental and boat launch are just down the hill from the cottage which has views of both Hamlin Lake and the South Bayou.
The cottage can accomodate up to 5 guests. It has two bedrooms and one bath. The first bedroom has a queen and the second has a bunk bed (Twin over Full).
There is plenty of communal space both indoors and out. Feel free to gather at the farm table for a game of cards or around the fire pit outback. Or For a more quiet moment grab a book and sit on the covered deck or in front of the large picture window in the living room.
This is a family friendly cottage. As a young family themselves the owners see the value in travelling a little lighter. We have provided some toys, books and common necessities to make your stay a little easier. Including highchair and portable crib. Although we are family friendly we are not considered "child proof." (Parent is responsible for their child's well being and safety)
This is a pet friendly home. We allow one pet per reservation. Our pet fee will need to be paid at the time of booking. We ask that guest if bringing a pet follow our pet rules. Pets are not allowed on any furniture, must be leashes when in the yard, and not left in the home unattended. If any of these rules are ignored guest will lose their damage deposit.

Our cottage is a great fit for a small family vacation! ( 5 max adults & 8 overnight guests )

Our Cottage is located in the Floradale Association. Literally steps away from the heated pool. So convenient for all, but especially if you have kids in your party. It’sYou also have access to the Club House, Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, Tether ball, Horse Shoes, Tennis and Basketball courts as well as 400ft of private association beachfront with swimming dock.

Our cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a Queen bed, and 1 with 2 sets of bunk beds. Twin sleeper sofa, and sofa in Living Room space. There is 1 bath with shower. There is also a large well equipped kitchen and dinning room with large table that seats 8. The cottage also has a deck with dinning space. There is lawn furniture, an outdoor grill, and private fire pit. Plenty of parking! Large lot.

We have just finished renovating this cottage and it looks amazing! All painted light and bright with fun beachy décor. Air and heat! This cottage will not disappoint. Feel free to inquire about the renovation. We can also show you our other cottage in the same association if you are interested in a larger cottage or are traveling with a larger group.

We do rent by the week, Friday to Friday from mid June to Labor Day. Before and after those dates, we do rent for a 2-3 day minimum.

Just a few miles away is the state park dunes where you can ride through the sand or walk. Also, you can take a dune ride from Mac Woods or rent a buggy to tear up the dunes yourself. There is also a 22 mile paved bike /hiking trail along with mini-golf, bumper cars, go-carts, and many specialty shops to browse through. So book your vacation today for summer and fall 2023! For a 50% refund of accommodation fees, cancellation must be made 30 days prior to check-in. Cleaning fee and security deposit will be refunded 100% if reservation is cancelled before check-in date.

3. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel sixty (60) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least thirty (30) days prior to check-in.
4. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests per cabin is limited to eight (8) persons.
THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A SEVEN (7) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY; Two (2) nights during autumn, winter, and spring seasons.

5. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than two days, the guest will be charged the two-night rate.
6. INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.

7. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the cabin, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be used for lake water or boating, or to be taken from the property.
8. RATE CHANGES – Rates are subject to change without notice.

9. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
10. POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds will be given for storms. We recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We DO NOT refund due to road conditions.
11. This cottage is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
12. Water and Septic: The Property is on a well and septic systems. The mineral content in the water is high. The well water may have an odor. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products or trash of any kind should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged/ liable for damages.

FISHING

Great fishing can be had right off your dock on Upper and Lower Herring Lake. Please catch and release, especially on Lower and Upper Herring Lakes. For fishermen who like to cast near Lake Michigan, both Frankfort and Elberta have fishing piers on Lake Betsie, which is essentially Frankfort Harbor. It is known for salmon, brown trout, steelhead, smallmouth bass, and catfish.

On calm days, locals like to fish from the north and south cement breakwater piers that reach way out into Lake Michigan.

The Frankfort Tackle Box on Main St has bait, tackle, licenses and great advice. For salmon, lake trout and steelhead charters, I recommend Power Trip or Tiny Bubbles.

Perfectly located between Ludington and Pentwater and directly across the street from Lake Michigan, "Freshwater Cottage" is a large cottage featuring two suites with individual kitchens and bathrooms adjoined by a large breezeway and sleeps up to 8 guests. When you book this unique cottage, with a distant view of Lake Michigan, you will have full use of the entire cottage and both suites. The suites are not rented out separately, so you will have the entire cottage to yourself. Suite One offers one bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom, fully functional kitchen, living room with sleeper sofa, dining area, and electric fireplace. Suite Two is a studio with a queen bed and sleeper sofa in the living area and offers a fully functional kitchen, full bathroom and dining area. Additionally, each suite offers a Smart TV and WiFi.

Freshwater Cottage is set on a large private lot offering an abundance of yard space and a turnaround driveway, with plenty of parking for vehicles, RVs and boat trailers. Freshwater Cottage is the perfect location for close water access and is next to Bortell's. It's only a 5 minute walk to Summit Park which offers a public beach on Lake Michigan, picnic area, tennis and basketball courts, and playground. You'll find this beach perfect for strolling along the picturesque lakeshore, combing for unique rocks and beach glass and taking in the gorgeous sunset. Buttersville Beach and the South Pier are also only minutes away by car with Lake Michigan Beach access for passing the time soaking up the sun.

Bass Lake Outlet is another great location and only a few minutes away by car. This outlet provides a public launch and has an outlet into Lake Michigan. Bass Lake is an all sports lake and is great for kayaking, boating and fishing.

Silver Lake and Mac Dune Rides is 20 minutes away as is golfing at Lakeside Links and dozens of more sports lakes and public access points.

- "This cabin was perfect for our Girls Week. The cabin is well stocked with kitchen supplies, spices, plates, silverware and glasses. There are plenty of towels in the bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. There are plenty of large door walls and windows and, with the use of the box fans, we were comfortable despite the lack of AC. The view of the lake is awesome and there were floats and kayaks for use. We rented a pontoon from Mel's resort across the lake and spent one afternoon touring around the lake. The lake is so peaceful and we saw plenty of fish. The shed had plenty of firewood and there is a nice firepit. The cabin is close enough to Ludington, Manistee, and Lake Michigan for extra activities. I highly recommend this place for a family, friends, or girls retreat."

The space
This cottage has been in my family for almost 30 years. It isn't the largest place on this pond of a lake, but I'd venture to say that we've got the best view.

As any cottage should have, there is a fire pit and a grill. And as many cottages do not have... there is WiFi! It won't knock your socks off, but it works for streaming a movie at night on the Roku if you'd like. Just right to stay connected while getting away.

You have full access to everything. There are some sheds that remain locked with personal/seasonal items, but there is also a guest shed with some essentials that need to remain out of the elements.

Other things to note
Please do not attempt to use the wood burning stove that is inside.

2025 update: We plan to have the cottage open for the season starting around May 1st. Feel free to request your dates (even if earlier than that) and we will get you setup ASAP.

The Rickard Cottage kitchen and living room has just been remodeled! The Cottage is very close to the hustle and bustle of the Silver Lake area, but provides a relaxed, efficient place to get away when the day is done. Mornings and evenings can be spent on the back porch surrounded by the woods. The Cottage is the perfect complement to a busy day at the lake. Ideal for 2 couples or a family with up to 3 children (appropriate for children ages 6 and over).

The space
The first floor has an open living room/kitchen area that includes a nap nook under the stairs. The full bathroom is also on the first floor. Sleeping arrangements are on the 2nd floor. The first bedroom is open and the second bedroom is accessed through the first bedroom, and is separated by a wall with a door. The back deck provides a great place for meals and hanging out, with a great view of the woods.

Guests can access the full house and porch, and the woods immediately surrounding the house.

Parking is free on the property and can accommodate trucks with trailers. The front yard can be used for parking. The road on which the Cottage is located is a sand road, which is maintained all year.

Pentwater Cottage is a perfect home-away-from-home for you and your loved ones. Just minutes from Lake Michigan beaches and downtown Pentwater. Local shops, ice cream, go carts and mini golf within a mile. Relax in the fully fenced in backyard while playing yard games, enjoying family time around the campfire or crafting your culinary skills with the woodfire pizza oven.

Beachy themed Cape Cod cottage in Pentwater, MI. Two queen bedrooms are available to you as well as the large upstairs bedroom including two double beds. Enjoy the two flat screen TV's with streaming services or Spectrum TV, multiple game systems, numerous card and board games, puzzles, lawn games such as cornhole, chipping/putting green and a sandbox for the little ones. Relax and enjoy a meal under the gazebo or on the deck picnic table.

Full access to the 3bdrm 1 1/2 bath cottage and fully fenced in backyard. Front shed is available to you and houses the cornhole set, lawn bowling game, beach essentials including cart and umbrella as well as the four beach chairs. One single pantry door is locked and not accessible along with the two rear sheds in the backyard.

GPS services may lead you to the incorrect side of US-31. Home is located on the East Side of the road and directly adjacent to the Pickleball Club (marked with signage).

Upstairs bedroom equipped with portable AC Unit for your use and the upper landing hallway closet has two window AC Units for downstairs bedrooms if needed. Also, in the closet is a full size pack-n-play for infants and toddlers.

Martin has WiFi, a full private kitchen, living/dining room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. We have a small marina where dockage is available for boats up to 18 feet with a small additional fee (limited availability). There is also boat launch directly across the street(among others nearby). This area has a lot of great things to do!

Both are available for rent. They are located in a small group of 13 cottages. You can have a bonfire at the fire pit or hang out in the Gathering Place on a rainy day. There is also a fish cleaning station for the fisherman to clean the catch of the day and a private sandy beach. There is a small playground as well as a park located across the street with a boat launch.

You will be given keyless access to the cottage, to the lake, beach, marina, Gathering Place, fire pit, and picnic tables. There also is a propane grill (1lb tanks needed), for use in the rear of the cottage near the two picnic tables.

Enjoy our cottage with access to a private beach on Hamlin Lake. We are located 3 miles from the State Park and 5 miles from downtown Ludington. The Swallow is a perfect place to relax with your family and enjoy the water and a bonfire in the evening. Included is WIFI, cable, a full private kitchen, living/dining room. 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. You must bring all of your own linens, bedding, and towels for bath/kitchen.

The space
The Swallow is a duplex and the second building from the lake shore. The mirror image of its partner the Martin. Martin is available to rent as well.
They are located in a small group of 13 cottages. There is a dock available for an extra fee. Please inquire if you would like to bring your own boat. The slip is suited for an 18 foot boat. You can enjoy our bonfire pit, kid play area and wonderful sandy beach. Fisherman will love the fish cleaning building. There is a park across the street with a boat launch.

You have access to your entire side of the Duplex cottage. All of the Swallow. The property has shared access of the beach and bonfire pit, gather space, chapel, and fish cleaning building with the other 13 cottages on the property. Free and available parking behind the cottages.

Linens are not included. Please bring all of your own bedding, pillows, sheets, bath and kitchen linens.

There is a gas grill in the back yard at the picnic tables for you to use.

The cottage is a modern cottage with all the amenities for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Our property sits on 5 acres and is bordered by thousands of acres of the Manistee National Forest. It’s quiet and remote, but centralized to many popular Northern Michigan destinations.
The cottage itself is an open design with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and one bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin over a full sized bed.

Head to the beach town of Manistee for the famous Lake Michigan beaches, shopping, dining, and the Little River Casino. Caberfae and Crystal Mountain for skiing and golfing. The well known Big M trail for mountain biking, hiking, and cross country skiing. The Manistee forest has endless miles of snowmobile and ORV trails. Tippy dam and other great fishing holes are near by so you can fish to your hearts content, or simply float down the Manistee River. We are just over a hour from Sleeping Bear dunes, and Traverse City.

Clay Woodland is a bed & breakfast in Manistee National Forest in the village of Baldwin, Mi. It has a secluded woodland cottage on the property. A light continental breakfast is provided the first two days of stay. The area is known for its specialty fishing, and it is also one of Michigan’s top water recreation areas with over 100 lakes in the county. The city sits on the Baldwin River only a few miles north of the historic Pere Marquette River. The cottage is nestled near lakes & rivers.

We’re just a short 10-12 minute walk from Lake Michigan, and our private association beach offers over 600 yards of peaceful, secluded shoreline. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

If you'd prefer to drive, a parking pass is available for easy access to the beach, so you can park right at the entrance and enjoy the view.

Please note, parking is available for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway. There’s also plenty of space for a toy hauler. We kindly ask that you do not park on the lawn or the street, as we want to maintain a safe and clean environment for all.

Oceana County offers plenty of activities for everyone, from golfing and swimming to kayaking, vineyards, and the ORV Park. Off-season activities may be more limited, so be sure to check availability before booking.

The space
Vacation Lane is a unique, step-back-in-time "resort" community of housekeeping cottages. There is a large area of shared, common property where your kids can run free on the grounds of our camp-like property. Relax and pitch horseshoes & corn hole, play volleyball, watch the kids play on the small playground, and swim and play at the sandy beach area. In the evenings roast marshmallows at the campfire and watch a sunset over the lake. Lawn games and beach toys are kept on the Robin porch for our renters to use. Enjoy our recreation building called, The Gathering Place with a ping-pong table, Foosball, and places to sit and play cards, board games or do puzzles on rainy days. Enjoy the view of the lake from Robin porch, the Vacation Lane docks, or from one of the cozy sitting spots to relax on the property. Have fun with the 2 kayaks provided with the Robin cottage, or bring your own watercraft (18-ft. limit) to dock at our small marina. ($100 charge per week.)

The Robin cottage is the other half of a duplex cottage: the Robin and Cardinal unit. My husband and I use the Cardinal side in the summer, and we love it! Our cottage was originally built in the 1925. It is the original cabin on Vacation Lane, and the closest one to the lake. It's a great place for families and friends to gather for some summer fun. The Co-op rules state that after 10 PM, it is quiet time, so this is not a party place, but we welcome your daytime guests.

You can rent by the week, Sat.-Sat. June through August, and with a 3-night minimum in May, September, and October. Other cottages on the Vacation Lane property may be available to rent during the summer at the same time to accommodate your friends and family requiring more lodging. Let us know if you'd like to inquire about these. We can help to coordinate this. Renters are not allowed to bring pets, sorry.

Your space is the entire "Robin side" of the duplex cottage. It has its own private access with a locking door. You may let yourself in for a contact-free check in, the door will be unlocked, and key will be left for you on the kitchen table. The cottage includes 3 bedrooms, (1 large bedroom, and 2 small bedrooms) an open living, and kitchen area with a table and benches that seat 6 comfortably. The full kitchen is stocked with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. There is one full bathroom with a shower. You have your own screened-in porch to enjoy with a bistro table and 4 chairs. You are also able to use all of the common Vacation Lane grounds, swim area, play areas, dock, fish-cleaning shack, the Gathering Place (a small recreation building), and the Quiet Place (a place for quiet reflection. )

Other things to note
Please bring your own towels, bed sheets, and pillow cases. Clean blankets and pillows are provided. Mattresses and pillows are covered with vinyl protectors that are disinfected after each guest leaves. Fans are provided in each bedroom, and there is an overhead fan in the living / dining area, as well as in the large bedroom. The large bedroom, and the open living area have window air conditioners, but they're not usually needed at the lake. You control the heat with the thermostat in your unit, and small extra electric heaters are in each bedroom.

This cozy cottage is nestled in the most desirable area of Manistee. Only 2 blocks from the beautiful downtown on River Street where you can find lovely restaurants, shops, and festivals, and less than a mile from the Lake Michigan beach!

The space
The house has been completely renovated. Every room has new paint in designer colors. The flooring is all new this season LVP.

There are three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen size beds while the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and a twin on the top. The bedrooms each have comfortable mattresses and new linens. There is one bathroom that has been completely updated. It has an elegant pedestal sink and stand up shower.

There is a full kitchen for you to use during your stay with a full sized refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave. There are dishes, pots and pans for your use as well. There is also a washer and dryer for you to use during your stay.

There is a window unit air conditioner although opening the windows create a nice cross breeze that normally is sufficient in this area of northern Michigan.

Our quaint cottage located in North Beach Association is the perfect place to spend a quiet vacation or short getaway. Well suited for four, but able to accommodate up to 6. Lake Michigan is an average five-minute walk from the deck.

The space
Nestled atop a forested dune surrounded by a dense pine and oak forest, this "treehouse" cottage was renovated with the most sustainable and local practices available: Beautiful stranded bamboo floors throughout, 12" wide pine board walls and ceilings, an amazing R25 shell rating and VOC-free paint, to name a few. The structure provides a cool temperature with just the use of ceiling fans on most nights.

PLEAE NOTE: the kitchen is separated downstairs from the bedroom and bathroom quarters, and is accessible via a partially-covered stairway outside. Features include a large deck overlooking the woods that ensures lazy days relaxing and long nights listening to the sounds of the forest over drinks and conversation.

Or if the beach is your pleasure, you're a 5-minute walk away with access to the association's private beach on Lake Michigan. Look south and you'll see Charles Mears State Park (a 10-minute walk if you choose) or find a quiet spot on a stretch of less inhabited beachfront to the north.

Guests will have access to private association beach on the big lake, wifi via cable modem, grill, television, and landline phone. A fireplace is available for the chilly months, as well as a full electric heating system. Refrigerator, stove, and microwave available in the kitchen, which is on a separated, first-floor level with outdoor, covered stairway to sleeping and living area.

**NOTE** Due to cleaning protocols we are unable to accept requests for early check-in or late check-out.

Please keep in mind that the kitchen is on the first floor off the deck and is separate from the living/sleeping quarters.

The cabin is built into a dune, and critters (especially mice) are part of that natural habitat. We do what we can to keep them to a minimum, but they are a natural occurrence.

We’ve replaced the oven with a Breville microwave, convention oven, and air fryer all in one and it’s been a popular replacement for guests. There is currently a two top hot plate as well. We believe this covers most needs with much less space impact to the small kitchen. With the changes we plan on adding a table soon.

The views from the backyard face west over the Upper Herring Lake Nature Preserve. Upper Herring is an all sports lake with excellent fishing. The large lawn is surrounded by majestic northern pine trees. The boat launch is 3 min away on the North end of the lake. The house is a 15 min drive to the towns of Frankfort, Benzonia, and Beulah, Michigan. 16 min drive from Crystal Mountain.

Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am.
Thanks for not smoking in the cottage. You're welcome to smoke outside.
When you arrive, you will find that an electronic code lock has been installed on the front and side door. Your code will be provided via email prior to your stay. You will find the pool pass and pool key hanging just inside the front door, please return the key and pass to the hook for the use of our next guest.
Please bring your Pool Pass with you when you're at the pool or at the beach.
Please do not leave children unattended at the pool or on the Association grounds.
THERE IS A $50 FEE IF YOU LOSE THE POOL PASS.

Association amenities: Heated pool (with newly renovated deck area), tennis/basketball courts, shuffle board court, tether ball, horse shoe pit, swing set, sand box, WiFi and ping pong tables in the club house behind the pool, and 400 feet of frontage on Silver Lake with volleyball net, picnic table, benches, fire pit and grills, along with grassy and sandy beach areas. See map in the notebook in the cottage.

The cottage is equipped with Forced Air Heat/A/C, 4 cable TVs (50 inch in living room equipped with a Roku Adapter), Super fast WiFi, Xbox 360 (which doubles as a Blu Ray DVD player,)Xbox games, washer and dryer, 2 full baths, 3 bedrooms (2 with 1 queen bed and one with 1 King bed), along with a queen sofa bed and full size couch and love seat in the living room, campfire pit, a covered porch with picnic table, lawn chairs, charcoal grill and a swing set in a sandy area. A high chair and pack-n-play are also provided.

The kitchen is nicely equipped including dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. There's also some DVD Movies and video games stocked in the end table drawers for your fun and entertainment.
There is a notebook in the cottage containing things to do and places to eat, shop, etc. Our contact information is on the front cover as well.
All towels and linens are furnished except beach towels. However, we ask that
you wash and dry as many towels as you can before you depart. Please bring along any consumables that you may need during your stay such as firewood (available locally) charcoal, soaps, paper products etc.
Please dispose of your trash in trash enclosure in front of the cottage.

Please leave the cottage in good condition. When you depart please return the remote controls to the VELCRO holder located at the side of each TV.

RENTERS RULES


The Flora-Dale Condominium Association has developed the following Renters’ Rules and Guidelines.

1. The units may not exceed their capacity.
2. No off-road vehicles are allowed on Association roadways.
3. No excessively loud trucks, dune vehicles, jeeps, etc., are allowed nor are major repairs to be done on Association property.
4. No loud music that will disturb others, including car stereos or boom boxes.
5. 11:00 PM: QUIET TIME BEGINS.
6. No pets are allowed without the owner's permission.
7. Pets must be leashed when they are on the Association's common areas. Please clean up after your pet.
8. Pool rules must be followed (see list posted in the cottage).
9. No unruly behavior, foul language, etc.
10. Vehicles are to be parked at the unit being rented, not on Association lawns, in the roadway or on another owner’s property.
11. Owners of the units being rented will be notified if renters are not complying with the rules or creating a problem. The unit owner is responsible for the immediate resolution of the issue.
12. Renters must understand that this is a family community, and others expect to be treated in that manner.
13. Renters will be asked to leave if the rules are not followed.
14. All fires must be contained in a fire pit.
15. No trash may be left outside. It must be disposed of properly in the community dumpster.
16. No camping equipment, RVs, tents, etc., are allowed without owner's permission.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Our quaint and cozy cottage is a perfect family get away right in the heart of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. We are conveniently located next to the Silver Lake State Park and within walking distance to Silver Lake and downtown. Enjoy a large fire pit, 2 covered patios, picnic tables, BBQ grill, large driveway for your truck and trailer, indoor fireplace, fully stocked kitchen and more! We even have 2 kayaks for our guests to enjoy. The entrance to the dunes is just 2 1/2 miles away.

Our place has all the comforts of home, including: A/C, heat, fireplace, a stocked kitchen, covered front patio with outdoor eating area and hammock swing, a covered back deck, big yard with a hammock, a fire pit with comfortable chairs, 2 kayaks, board games, and hot dog/marshmallow roasting sticks for your evening dinner and s’mores.

Other things to note
There is a streaming TV in the living room and the Master Bedroom. Internet can be sketchy at times, especially when it’s real busy. Please plan a trip at our place that includes unplugging and not depending on internet - we cannot guarantee it and it’s beyond our control.
