Enjoy sunrises from the deck of our quaint, little 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage on Big Crooked Lake in Kent County, Michigan. Big Crooked Lake is a 152 acre, all sports, private lake, with great fishing for blue gill, perch, bass, pike and walleye. Private sandy beach & shallow swimming area on the property. There is also a no-wake cove, accessible by boat, where people anchor their boats to swim and socialize. The cottage is 900 sq. ft. and it will sleep 4 comfortably, one bedroom has a queen size bed, the other has two twin beds. Many amenities included such as a furnished kitchen, including basic food staples, dishes, coffee maker, also hair dryer, linens, iron & ironing board, bedding, towels & beach towels. We are also providing a grill, patio furniture, lawn/beach chairs, fire pit & fire wood and a sandy beach and dock! Fishing poles are available, but we recommend bringing your own favorite gear. We provide a 12' rowboat for our guests, which works great for fishing and paddling around the lake, it also has an electric motor with two lithium batteries. There is a private boat launch available if you want to bring your own boat, which you can dock at our dock and park your trailer at the cottage. Please be sure that any watercraft brought in from other lakes is clean and free of invasive species. All boaters must operate within the State of Michigan Boating Laws and BCL Association rules.There is a dock available on the property for fishing/swimming from and docking one boat.
We also have two kayaks for our guests to use.

White Fence of Suttons Bay is a truly unique vacation property. The property is a compilation of restored circa 1900 farm buildings just one block south of one of the most quaint villages in the Upper Midwest. The Village of Suttons Bay has deluxe shopping, art galleries and excellent restaurants abound. White Fence of Suttons Bay is within walking distance of it all and centrally located for touring all of scenic Leelanau County and its multitude of wineries, fine restaurants, charming villages and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park.

White Fence is a small and quiet property which has been meticulously renovated. The guest suite is artfully done with privacy, quiet and magnificent views of the bay kept in mind. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with seating areas throughout including private decks on the beach. Night star gazing is memorable. Although we love pets and children, the carriage house suites is not designed for either.

Directly across the street from White Fence is a gourmet grocery store which specializes in local produce and houses an extensive wine selection where the sommelier can describe to you the award-winning local wines. There is an outdoor kitchen area at White Fence with a charcoal grill should you decide to cook and hot plate for sautéing and boiling.

Also directly across the street, is the Leelanau Trail, an extensive biking, walking and running trail. It offers miles of scenic enjoyment. In the winter months, the Trail is groomed for cross country skiing.

Beach Town Escape is an absolutely adorable cottage that has been completely remodeled during 2019-2020! It has matching vibrant beach tones throughout the entire home and echoes a very fun and cheerful atmosphere for all! It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an upstairs living area that basically functions as a third bedroom with 2 twin-size beds. The cottage has WiFi, live streaming television, and DirecTV. It's in a nicely quiet and safe location, but still close to downtown and the beach.

NEIGHBORHOOD:

The cottage is walking distance from the fun and excitement of downtown Frankfort and its shops, cafes, and restaurants. It also walking distance (about 1 mile) from Frankfort Beach and Lake Michigan. It is also conveniently located just 20 minutes from Crystal Mountain Resort (to the southeast), 10 minutes from Crystal Lake (to the northeast), 30 minutes from the start of Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore (to the north), and about 60 minutes from downtown Traverse City (to the east). The cottage is really in an exceptional location to experience all that Northern Michigan has to offer!

Guest have complete access to the entire property except for a storage closet and the storage shed in the backyard.

TRANSIT:

There is some limited public transportation via the Benzie Bus, but it is recommended that guests have their own vehicle.

Look no further!! This inviting Cottage steps away from your private Elk Lake lot is the best choice for your get away. The Northern Michigan house is located 3.7 miles from Elk Rapids, 8.3 miles from Williamsburg, and 16.2 miles from Traverse City.

The original charm from the stone foundation to the barn wood feature walls and original wood floors help create a place you will love for relaxation and creating memories. It is the perfect size for 4 people with approximately 1263 square feet of living space and a 266 square foot deck/patio.

The house has been renovated from top to bottom with new furniture, and appliances including a gas grill on the deck. The cupboards are stocked with dishes, glassware, and silverware for inside or patio dining. There is a selection of cooking pans and it's stocked for at home baking.

There is one bedroom on the third floor with 2 twin beds, one bedroom on the second floor with one queen bed. The bathroom located on the second floor has a full bathtub and shower. The laundry is also on the second floor equipped with a washer and dryer.

The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, and the moveable kitchen island is stocked with everything you need to bake if you wish. There are two dining options, one in the house at a counter height table with seating for six and the table on the deck with seating for four. If you want to grill, there is a gas grill on the patio.

The living room area has a 50-inch wall mounted TV, a couch, loveseat, coffee table and 2 end tables centered around a cheerful area rug.

Included with the rental is shared access to our private 50-foot Elk Lake access. It is yours for the week to use at your own risk. There will be 4 chairs and a couple of small tables for your to use at the lake.

Besides enjoying time at Elk Lake, there are many adventures in our regional area from boating, golfing, wine tasting, breweries, distilleries, farmer’s markets, shopping, horseback riding, and, of course, picking cherries when in season.

Not in the least of which are the 4 islands with sandy beaches and hiking trails waiting to be explored. Two marked moorings are provided at the end of the dock to moor a boat overnight and extra parking is adjacent to the garage for boat trailer parking. The Long Lake boat launch is just minutes away as shown on the map.

The fire ring near the shore beckons to be used for an enjoyable evening of roasting smores while watching the sunsets. There is also a hammock and extra seating throughout the lawn, as well as the patio chairs and tables. A gas grill and utensils also are on site to help provide quiet relaxation from a day of sight seeing, touring wineries/breweries, biking the trails, fishing, touring the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park, etc. No wonder National Geographic Magazine just voted the Grand Traverse area one of the top 10 family vacation spots in the world. - "We loved our time at Lakestone Cottage! Here are some of the great things about it: The beds were very comfortable. My first couple of nights on a unfamiliar bed are usually pretty restless. I didn't have that problem at all - I slept well right from the very first night. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed, and even a few things we didn't think about but found very useful (some spices, chip clips, etc.). The AC kept up really well, and we were very comfortable during our stay. The water heater had impressive capacity. Four grown people showered right in a row, and none of us ever ran out of hot water. It was wonderful to have a garage to park in! The washer and dryer were super helpful, especially when we came in from the lake. We could pop our towels and suits in the dryer and they were all ready for the next time. The outside space was beautiful. We enjoyed making campfires in the fire pit, and the sunsets were beyond spectacular. It was also really nice to have some yard space where we could play yard games as a family. Lastly, Cathy was an incredible host! She was very accommodating, and made the entire stay so easy."

Cottage Pisces is located on Platte Lake with 2 bedrooms and one bath with room for 6. One minute walk to private resort beach. Close to kayaking, shopping, restaurants and minutes from Lake Michigan and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake-shore. 30 minutes from Traverse City and 15 minutes from Frankfort. So much to do and see for the whole family! Close to everything, but far from ordinary. NOTE: We do not allow this cottage to be used for a fishing trip and NO PETS ALLOWED.

Guest access
The private beach is open to owners and guests of the resort. The fire pit by the water may also be used by guests with free firewood nearby. Guests are not allowed to bring a motorized boat or PWC while staying at the resort. All boat moorings are for owners only.

The space
The vacation property has 2 cottages, the other cottage is listed under the title "Nortwoods cottage on a beautiful 1,000 acre lake" accommodating from 5 to 6 people each. The heated vacation cottages have TV's, and fully-equipped kitchens with coffee makers, dishes, and pots and pans. Each cottage has its own grill, clothes line and picnic table. One cottage has a fireplace. Linens and towels are provided.

The lake property has a shared beach area, boat house, dock, and fire pit. A 12-foot aluminum row boat is provided with each cottage.

The cottages are not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The cottages are located on a wooded hill along a quiet dead-end road. The property is semi-secluded and has 100 feet of shoreline on Chicaugon Lake. Water recreation includes swimming, fishing, boating and water skiing. Nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, 4 wheeling and hunting.

Iron County Pentoga Park, Iron County Youth Camp Batawagma and Ojibwa Indian Burial Grounds are within walking distance. Across the lake is the Young's Recreation/Golf Complex.

Boat to one of the UP's best golf courses! Direct access to atv trails!

Steps down to the water with a shallow swimming beach and amazing sunsets.  Dock can handle 2-3 boats comfortably and stays in until November.  Kitchen with everything you need, stocked with coffee and cooking basics.  Charcoal grill, row boat and life jackets are included.

Chicaugon Lake is a crystal clear, 1100 acre, 1 mile by 5 miles, 120 max depth full rec lake with great fishing and boating.  Fish species include walleye, pike, muskie, bass, perch, lake trout, whitefish, and panfish.

Perfect for a golf weekend.  Young's golf course is located that the south end of the lake and has a dock for boat up golf/food/drinks.  Pentoga Park is also located nearby which has a large beach, playground, and concessions (and camping).

Direct access to atv trails with room to park trailers.  10 minutes to Ski Brule, one of the top ski resorts in Michigan.

You have access to the boathouse patio, two docks, a swim raft, a cobblestone sand beach area (water shoes recommended), three rowboats (please bring your own life jackets), an outdoor children's play center, swings, benches, and a community firepit.
Kayak rentals are available with a reservation.
Pontoon rentals are also available upon reservation.
Boat mooring to the docks is not available; however, if you bring your boat and wish to keep it in the water, we offer three covered boat lifts next to the docks for rent at $100/week or $20/day. Alternatively, you can moor your boat at the lakefront bottom or trailer it to the boat launch as needed. Two improved boat launch sites are located 3 miles north and south of the property. Additionally, there is a community launch site within walking distance to the north, featuring an unimproved gravel area without a dock, suitable for most boats.

The cottage is set up to sleep four people, with great amenities. Our space offers a work friendly area, indoor fire place, outdoor fire pit, waterfront with two kayaks, deck overlooking the lake. The space
The cottage is on lake front property with a dock. There is a boat rental place in the area if guests are interested in spending the day on the water. Guests are also welcome to swim, just be sure to wear water shoes!

The lake is clear and gets up to 150 feet deep in areas. There are some zebra muscles. We have various pairs of water shoes for guests and the general store has some for sale if we don't have your size.

Guest access
Guest have access to all the property has to offer except for the garage. We have a shared driveway with designated parking spots in front of the garage.

Other things to note
We do allow pets, but charge an additional $50 for cleaning if you are going to have your pet friend join you during your stay. We also ask that all guests clean up after their pets inside and outside in the yard.

We have recently fenced in the backyard of the cottage with a white 4' tall vinyl fence. We ask that guests do not leave their dogs unattended in the backyard, please clean up any dog waste and please prevent their dogs from digging holes. If for some reason it is unpreventable, please fill the hole back in.

We have provided a couch cover for pets to prevent water, dirt and hair from getting on the couch. We also have dog towels dedicated to cleaning off wet and dirty dogs.

Heart's Rest is the prime choice for a family getaway. It provides a great atmosphere for you and your family to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We run a retreat center of family vacation rentals - there are 4 other rentals, but you will find with 120 acres, there is plenty of space for everyone! The space
The bedrooms are connected with a sliding door, so there is privacy for both sides, but they're all on the same floor. There is a window air conditioner and box fans available as well!

You will have access to our property which features a volleyball court, pavilion (indoor basketball), a playground complete with an ark, 18 hole frisbee golf, and other amenities! In the winter we have snowshoes, cross-country skis, sleds, and tubes available free of charge. There are several hills on the farm that are prime for sledding.

Other things to note
Our window AC unit is for the upstairs. There are also some box fans available, but please note this is NOT central AC.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape just steps from Grand Traverse Bay. Paradise Pines Resort is a group of vintage rental cottages built in 1938 and recently restored using creative reuse practices. We have 10 cottages of different sizes. Some have full amenities, and some require you to bring your own supplies. Walk or bike ride into the charming waterfront village of Elk Rapids or cross the street to enjoy a swim at our extensive county park with beach and art trails.

The space
Cottage 2 is our most spacious cottage with two bedrooms and one bath in 700 sqft of living space. This cottage has a real lakeshore cottage feel with mixed hardwood floors and pale blue walls throughout. There is a queen bed in one bedroom and a queen and twin bed in the other. The twin sleeper sofa in the living room gives you sleeping for six.

Kitchen amenities include a full-sized refrigerator, stove, sink and dishwasher and a well-stocked set of dinnerware and cookware for you to prepare and serve your favorite meals. You'll find a toaster, microwave, full-size drip coffee maker and even a blender. You'll love the colorful hand-crafted wood counter tops we made in the kitchen with island seating!

The open living room/kitchen area is spacious with a comfy sofa (that is also a twin sleeper) and two chairs. Stretch out and watch TV or play cards at the dinette table.

The custom tiled walk-in shower is beautiful and roomy. The glass vessel sink sits on a repurposed sewing cabinet vanity.

Cottage 2 has window AC units in each of the bedrooms, a ceiling fan in the living room, and baseboard heat for the cooler weather.

Guest access
You will have designated parking for two vehicles and access to your cottage via keyless entry code. All cottages are near each other with privacy fences and separate outside sitting areas for each cottage. You will have shared access to our Club House Area with a vintage day-use cottage, shady deck, BBQ grills, additional seating, fire pit, shuffle board courts, and open areas for games.

The space
Please note this is a small and cozy cottage.(600 sq ft). I have listed will fit 5 people. I would say no more then 3-4 adults as the top bunk is definitely more for a child! You are within walking distance to downtown Lake Leelanau. Enjoy the outside with a grill and fire pit area, Or relax in the living room with a movie! The kitchen may be small but has all brand new appliances!

Other things to note
The space may be small, but is recently updated and newly furnished. You are walking distance to everything in downtown Lake Leelanau and just a short drive to fish town, sleeping bear dunes, Glen Arbor, Sutton’s Bay!
