Thankfully, they still answered our call, gave us instructions on how to get in and the number to the owner. Checkout instructions were lacking but we did what we thought they wanted. At the end of the day I would not stay here again. However, it isnt because of the property itself. Rather, unless you like to golf or own a boat, there isnt anything meaningful to do here. You have to drive 1 to 1.5 hours away for anything fun, again, other than golf or boat on the lake. For being the Carribean of Michigan, my expectations were a lot higher and I ended up pretty disappointed. We did, however, enjoy the few things we were about to do... trail riding over an hour away and boat rental on Torch Lake about 25 minutes away. We will choose another location next time."

- "I checked in and there was white crusted substance right on the comforter top, along with other places on the comforter. The pillowcase had washed out blood and other liquids stained on the corner. I had to sweep the place when I got there, and so many other things (don’t expect to eat without washing all pots and pans they are covered in sawdust from no working drawer). I took off all bedding and slept on towels. I contacted the contact given and was able to leave property however no refund from Evolve company or owner of unit for the awful night I had to stay there. They ruined my entire trip and Evolve said their standards of cleanliness may not have been met however no refund for the night I was stuck there was available. Never use Evolve to make a reservation they don’t care about their clients and are all about the bottom dollar. bodily biohazards are apparently not a problem to cuddle up with and certainly not worth a refund according to Evolve."

With today's environment we want you to rest assured that we are looking out for your safety. Our apartments are aired out in between guests, they are cleaned and then they are separately disinfected with special attention given to touch points. Sheets and towels are all laundered with disinfectant. The apartment is inspected after cleaning and disinfecting to ensure that our high standards are being met. Anyone who enters the apartment for cleaning and/or inspection is evaluated for health concerns and not allowed to work if there is any concern.

We have 3 apartments in one building for families or special get togethers where the group wants to vacation together but have their own space at the end of the day. All apartments have separate, private entrances.

Our house is properly zoned for hosting short-term guests and with the recent remodel received all of the appropriate building inspections and upgrades including a fire sprinkler system. We also do have security cameras which capture the exterior of the building including the parking lot and entrances to the building.

The Timberline Cherry Capital is an upstairs apartment of an old late 1800's building with great style. There's a queen bed for resting, a double recliner for watching the flat screen tv, and a kitchenette to allow for a wonderful stay! Located walking distance from downtown and the beaches.

The French Cat is an 1880s building undergoing loving renovations one apartment at a time. If you expect a modern exterior, you might be disappointed. However, the insides are newly furnished, plush, comfortable, and stylish.

Other things to note:
This is an old building which has been lovingly renovated one apartment at a time. It is safe, comfortable and clean but also very quirky and definitely not perfect. You would be disappointed if you expected a modern exterior. But, the apartments are newly remodeled, plush, and comfortable. It is a blast to stay here, and it is hard to find a closer room to downtown at such a reasonable price.

Living in the middle of the fun, sometimes means you can hear street noises from local businesses (late night dance music) or traffic. White noise machines available in the unit to block out unwanted noise and potentially promote more restful sleep.
