Our VBRO was located above Brooklyn Boyz restaurant. Quiet neighborhood and friendly people. We plan to come back." - "The apartment is so nicely done and clean. Our hideaway was recently renovated from a 3 bedroom area of our home (lower level) with a detached bathroom now into ONE LARGE SUITE with a brand new private tiled bathroom. Completely shut off from main home into your very own private water side suite! Two exterior doors face Lake Huron with a wrap-around cedar deck to relax & watch the sunrise or use the seawall stairs (4) to walk down into the water!
*Note: Water levels reached record high (2020) but are quickly decreasing. Our beach is returning @rapid rate as of April 2025!

Use our beautiful Bay City State Park to launch/anchor/moor YOUR boat right in front of the suite (our home). Or use snowmobile to glide onto the ICE to fish! Larger equipment has nearby entry access plus beautiful Bay City State Park at @beginning of our road (beach)

PLEASE follow instructions of lowering Murphy Beds.

PARKING
We have a brand new large H-Shape [half circle] drive! You have entire access of the right side of the H drive that seamlessly connects to your floating wrap around deck, which directly connected to private entrance of your suite! 3 cars/trucks can comfortably fit on your drive. Or 2 trucks w/boats on trailers. Or if you’d like to free up your trailers from the drive- you are more than welcome to park across the street (marsh side) and/or park your trailers there when not in use. No worries though on parking, space, or safety!

DO NOT forgot your BIKES!! The #1 FAVORITE ACTIVITY our guests enjoy are the bike trails along the Marsh & State Park that begin @ our driveway!
IF you FORGET your bike, or space does not allow-you may rent our bikes! See rates. Bring your camera, binoculars, & water bottle for daily excursions! Most of our guests use our bikes 2-3x a day and venture a new trail each time! You may see deer, squirrels, beavers, egrets, large turtles, lily pads w/frogs birds & ducks nearby, fish and an endless amount of critters small & big-who are comfortable w/guests. Yes, even the deer hang out in our front yard- early morning & at dusk too! And yes bikes are used year round in between snows ;) Or cross country ski or snowmobile down to the Marsh and enjoy the wildlife this way!

The large staircase in the center foyer leads you to a private apartment with an original marble fireplace, marble topped radiators and 7 foot tall windows. Your stay will have the 19th century charm with modern amenities. A kitchen capable of cooking meals, a designated work space and a bright bathroom with a shower/tub combo to get ready for local adventures that await you!

This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit on the second floor, spans the entire north side of the main portion of the home. The bedroom features a queen bed, blackout full-length shades and even a noise machine! The closet features flat and hanging space and room for your luggage.

The living room has a fold down futon for 2 additional guests, with all of the needed linens. Relax in front of the beautiful original marble fireplace, plenty of lighting for a good read, watching a movie on the Smart TV or even working at the dedicated desk.

The large staircase in the center foyer leads you to a private apartment with original radiators and 7 foot tall windows. Your stay will have the 19th century charm with modern amenities. A kitchen capable of cooking meals, a designated work space and a bright bathroom with a shower/tub combo to get ready for local adventures that await you!

This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit on the second floor. The main bedroom features a queen bed, while the second bedroom has an XL twin and both have blackout shades and a closet that features flat and hanging space and room for your luggage. One noise machine is provided.

The living room has a fold down futon for 2 additional guests, with all of the needed linens. Relax with plenty of lighting for a good read, watching a movie on the Smart TV or even working at a dedicated desk.

The kitchen is fully functional with everything you need to prepare your own meals. Full-size stove and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and much more! The table can seat up to 4, when expanded.

The bathroom is bright with counter and storage space with plenty of linens and hanging space for towels as well as a removable shower head.

The McCormick house has served many purposes over the last 150 years but is currently a 6-unit apartment building. The large porch that spans the entire width of the home, has views of the Saginaw River. There is a shared patio at the back of the home where guests can dine or relax.

This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit on the main floor, spans the entire south side of the main portion of the home. The bedroom features a queen bed, blackout full-length curtains and even a noise machine! The open closet features vintage-style wall paper, a large mirror, flat and hanging space and room for your luggage.

The living room has a pull-out sofa bed for 2 additional guests, with all of the needed linens. Relax in front of the beautiful original marble fireplace, plenty of lighting for a good read, watching a movie on the Smart TV or even working at a dedicated desk.

The kitchen is fully functional with everything you need to prepare your own meals. Full-size stove and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and much more! The table can seat up to 4, when expanded.

The unit has a wi-fi ring video doorbell that is motion activated outside the apartment door. This camera is accessible to owners through an app and records for insurance purposes for guest safety.

There is a king size bed and a full size sofa sleeper. All linens including bedspread are changed and laundered between every guest.

There is a kitchen with everything you need to make a variety of meals (blender, crockpot, toaster, cookware, baking ware, coffee pot, French press, microwave, stove, oven, etc) or walk out the front door and go to one of the various restaurants or bars in our entertainment district.
