Very private location with a view of the Crystal River, the sounds of Lake Michigan just steps beyond the pristine dunes, a gated parking lot by the beach and only steps to the footbridge that leads across the river where you will take in the breathtaking sunsets each night. This freshly updated condo is only 2 miles from the town of Glen Arbor. You can bike into town and beyond on the Heritage Trail, or take a short drive by car. About 20 miles from Traverse City, too.

Step out of the sliding glass door and onto the bank of the Crystal River where you can tube, kayak, SUP or swim all the way out to Lake Michigan! Walk the beach, stroll along the riverbank, or walk the boardwalk which stretches for blocks just outside the condo building. Hike or bike the nearby paved Heritage Bike Trail to scenic Northern Michigan destinations.

In the winter you can enjoy the Homestead Resort skill hill for downhill excitement! Or explore the National Shoreline on cross country skis and snowshoes. There are miles of trail inside the Homestead Resort and more just a short drive away.

This 375 sq ft condo is equipped with heat and air conditioning, a Roku Smart TV, fast WiFi for internet access, and an Amazon echo for playing music from streaming devices. Fresh updates include new paint, new fixtures, and all new furniture throughout including a luxurious queen sized bed, leather sofa, and comfy boucle chairs. The condo has one full bath with a shower/tub combination, a cute kitchenette complete with West Elm designer dishes & silverware, basic cooking utensils, glasses, a Ninja Dual Brew Coffee Machine (for ground coffee and K-cups), pots/pans, microwave, refrigerator, and a full set of hardware (NOTE: there is no oven or dishwasher in this unit). Coin operated washer & dryer are located in the common area of the building on the same floor as this studio. There is a gas grill on property for use by guests.

This privately owner unit is nestled on the water in a discreetly gated property. No public check in or check out required, however, we are nearby if assistance is needed. The unit is on the ground floor of the building and is not handicap accessible.

Note: although the condo is located inside the Homestead Resort, it is not a resort owned property, it is privately owned by us. The Homestead pools and tennis courts are not available for use. There are public tennis courts, pickleball courts in Glen Arbor. You will have access to to all of the resort amenities that are open to the public, such as all grounds and beach areas, most of the restaurants, golf (ski hill in winter), spa, salon, and the shops in the Village.

Each unit has Two (2) private bedrooms, each with one (1) queen bed. The living area has a one (1) queen size sofa sleeper. Each unit can have up to SIX (6) guests total. This is the maximum per unit. Please respect this rule.

This converted 1930s schoolhouse has a 20 foot wall of windows to bring in lots of natural light. Twelve foot ceilings and original hardwood floors blend with a modern kitchen, sitting area, bathroom, and laundry.

Glen Arbor Lofts has two identical units which can be rented individually or together. The East facing unit (The Owl) and the West facing unit (The Acorn) are mirror images of each other and very close to being identical. They share a very large, southern-facing deck with Weber Gas Grill and outdoor seating for 6+ people. There is off-street parking for one car per unit, with plenty of on-street parking just steps away.

Each unit has a washer and dryer, a well furnished kitchen, and cable based high-speed internet (400 mbps). Each unit has a television with Apple TV connect for access to 80+ channels. Feel free to bring your passwords for access to other streaming services.

July and August Rentals are offered in 7-day increments with a Sunday changeover day.

These units were very recently remodeled and are publicly available for guests for the first time in 2023. We are continue to update the units with new furniture and features , so the photos will not match exactly with the photos in the listing.

There is separate lockable space for bikes and golf clubs in the building.
