Primarily this property is best for adults or older children. This property is not equipped for small children, is on a busy street without outside spaces for children to play, & is located directly above full-time residents that co-occupy the building. Children are welcome at your discretion. Please be respectful & bring their own sleeping & eating necessities.

**This is an old building with original hardwood floors in the middle of downtown. With that brings squeaky floors and the bustle of other downtown businesses i.e. nightlife and morning deliveries**

- "This is the second time we have stayed at the Upscale Loft for our August UP trip, and it was amazing. The location is amazing, and you can walk anywhere in town. Gallery Coffee is right across the street and a fantastic way to start your day! There is also a coffeemaker in the loft with a sampling of coffee from the Dream Bean Machine in Grand Marais. The loft is very comfortable and exceptionally clean! There are many things to do in and around Munising, but day trips to the west to Marquette or to the east to Grand Marais are less than an hour of drive time each way. Overall, this is a great plasce to stay and we hope to return next year!"

Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Santa's Shack Studio! One of 3 units available at same site. The Studio has a king bed and a twin bunk bed. Great location just off of M-28 behind the White Pine Lodge and less than 5 miles from Munising. It's close to Pictured Rocks, ORV trails, many waterfalls and lighthouses. The casino is within walking distance, as well as Foggy's Steakhouse. If there's a large group, combine with our other units on the same site under a separate listing called Santa’s Shack Triplex and together it can sleep up to 18 people.

This is a ground floor unit and all recently remodeled with that up north feeling including tongue and groove pine ceiling and a twin log bunk bed. It is a cozy, little studio, so there are no private bedrooms. The bathroom shower is small as well, so tall and/or large guests may have a tight squeeze. Santa’s Shack has an on demand water heater, so there is unlimited hot water, no matter if you are the first or last to shower. We just replaced the TV in the Studio with a new 55” Roku TV for your enjoyment. The heater for the Studio is a natural gas wall heater and it will get hot to the touch. If bringing little ones during heating season, please be careful. Also, the shelf above the heater is removable for easier access to heater controls. While the home is conveniently located right off of M28, there is not much for a view or privacy when hanging outside as the units all have the view of the back of the White Pine Lodge and the gas station. There is a fire pit, picnic table, and a charcoal grill for your use that is shared with the other apartments in the backyard.

Our guests here have full access to the Studio and also have access to the fire pit and charcoal grill in the backyard. They do not have access to any of the other units onsite.

We live nearby if you should need anything but will not come over unless you ask us to. If you have any questions/concerns, please message through the app or text or call if an emergency.

Walking distance to Foggy's Steakhouse, Christmas Casino, gas station/party store, and less than a mile to snowmobile/ORV trailhead. Less than 5 miles to downtown Munising and all of the Pictured Rocks boat tours, kayak tours, etc.

There are exterior audio/video recording equipment on 24/7 and motion activated. There are 3 cameras, one facing Studio entry door, one facing front entry doors under the entry arch, and one facing exterior back door of building next door.

The front unit has a private guest entrance (one step up) with spots for storing two bikes inside. If you need more bike storage space, please let us know. Parking is in a surface lot on-site with room for several vehicles. Washer and dryer are shared in basement.
