They had a large cooler of ice in the office which had run out on the morning we were leaving. We wanted to fill up our cooler so they directed us to another property they owned a block or so away and we got plenty of ice there. I felt they were very sensitive toward anything we needed."

- "Eater weekend my husband and I went to Marquette to visit our son at NMU. We usually book at America's Best because it is the most economical. After the first night of a three night stay I was a little concerned about being able to sleep. See our room was near the ice machine which ran during the night. I am a very light sleeper so this noise kept me awake most of the night. That morning I asked the front desk if during future stays I could request rooms. We had a small discussion about my concern and I went on with my day. To my surprise within the half hour the front desk called asked if my husband and I would like to change to a different room. This was not something I had requested. However, I was very thankful. We moved to a larger, more comfortable and quieter room at not additional charge. I am so grateful they made this offer and it will ensure I return to this location on any return visits to Marquette."

And let's not forget to mention the complimentary cocktail happy hour on the beautiful roof deck overooking Marqutte! Oh, and the breakfast is to die for- delicious local mini quiches, croissants, pastries and coffee, fruits, and yogurt parfaits! The room - especally the giant shower with the rainfall showerhead are modern, clean, attentive to detail, and quiet. We did not have time to use the complimentary ebikes, but they really weren't necessary because of the centralized location of the hotel.
