We were lucky that no one else booked the other room so we had all the space all to ourselves. Our favorite part was sitting in front of the window in the living room just watching the sunset. The whole place was clean and very cozy. Joanne, whom lives on the property, was such a joy to talk to. She was very informative about the area with lots of suggestions of restaurants and places to visit. She made us feel at home. It is just a short drive to downtown Munising and the Pictured Rocks. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the area. "

Take in the natural beauty of the Upper Peninsula on Michigan. Pebble Beach is located right on Lake Michigamme with over 600’ of waterfront luxury. Enjoy our water activities or just take a hike to our private cabin and pond to really get away.

This property offers a minimum of 1750 sq feet of living space. Essentially this is the bottom half of our main building and you will have access to most of our non motorized areas. Included areas would be our 1800 sq’ entertainment room, kitchen, sauna, pond, trails, and fishing cabin.

We do have a couple of dogs that will be more than happy to greet you at any opportunity. However if your not dog people they have a very nice place to stay where they won’t bother you. I cannot guarantee that you won’t be bothered by other wild life. We have a family of bald eagles that dot the sky over the lake and Moose back by the pond. So you never know what the U.P. will throw your way!!

Nestled in the woods of the Upper Peninsula you will find a cozy up north retreat. Located only 10 minutes from local amenities - Starbucks, Target, grocery stores, and breathtaking Lake Superior. If you are outdoor enthusiast you will not be disappointed. We are centrally located within miles of waterfalls, beaches, kayaking, groomed bike trails or take steps out the door to hiking and great mountain biking.

The space
Our property is focused on the outdoors. During the summer and fall months we spend a majority of our time working in our yard or entertaining family and friends. We have many areas of the property to relax and visit including a pavilion, fire pit, sauna, or just sit in lawn chairs on the grass.

Guest access
You are welcome to use the pavilion, outdoor bar, Cornhole and main fire pit areas. these areas are considered shared with our family. we do have an additional private fire pit for the Airbnb guests on the opposite side of the house. We don't advertise or include the sauna as an amenity so please do not use the sauna at your discretion. You are free to venture into the sauna and take a look but at no time are shoes allowed to be on in the bathing area.

Other things to note
We have a very energetic young female black lab named Georgia. We also have 5 other free range labs in the neighborhood. We like to take George with us on our summer trips, but if we are home during your visit you will be sure to meet her. She welcomes all guests with a lot of enthusiasm.
We like to make sure everyone is aware of our Lab situation since we do welcome dogs to the Airbnb and if guests have any fear of dogs.

The space
Queen size bed, flat screen tv, private bathroom with a shower, the smaller room with the better view. Share the B&B area with guests in the Grand Portal Room. There is a kitchen and living area.

During your stay
I added on another house on the lakeside for Joann (mother in law). We decided to start a B&B in 2014.
We were able to design the house with great views and close to the water.

Joann is a wonderful host and guests enjoy her breakfast and conversation. During Covid 19 she is being isolated as much as possible.

The house has in floor heating that makes the winter months comfortable

Our location has been great for guests who come to enjoy the Pictured Rocks. The only drawback is in the winter months we aren’t easily accessible for snowmobiles until the bay freezes over but we get a lot of cross country skiers, snowshoers and the ice climbers. The ice climbers say the ice, just a mile down the road, is one of the best in the Midwest USA.
