Check-in information will be provided no earlier than 24 hours prior to check in time.
Check in time is after 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check out time is before 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Early arrival and late departure may be arranged a head of time for an additional fee.
Upon arrival, LESSEE will conduct a full property inspection and notify LESSOR immediately of any damages noted at that time. Failure to do so will result in LESSEE being charged for anything noted by cleaning staff upon LESSEE’S departure.
Subleasing this unit is not permitted.
Adult supervision must be present at all times for anyone under the age of 18.
Should the LESSOR become aware of any violation to the above policies by LESSEE, the LESSOR will have the right to an immediate eviction of the LESSEE and all persons on the property. Any remaining nights stays will not be refunded.
All trash and recycling MUST be placed inside of trash bags that are securely tied closed.
Pick up all trash and recycling, bag it and place it in the trash and recycling cans provided and get out to curb for pick-up.
Throw out or remove ALL personal items brought into the house.
Place all soiled dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle.
Please do not strip or remake beds. Soiled towels should be left on the floor by the washer/dryer in the unit, or if the laundry is outside or does not have laundry facilities, leave the laundry on the kitchen floor.
All furniture and other items must be returned to the same position they were in at move in.

In addition to their private bedroom, guests will have shared access to the kitchen and 1 1/2 bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor, so please be considerate of fellow guests who may need the bathroom. We only supply one clean private bedroom and SHARED living space, so we expect a five-star review if you get that exactly. This is not a regular hotel where you're going to be greeted by a bellhop in a suit, you instead may be greeted by someone in their swim shorts cooking dinner in the kitchen. We are not responsible for your interactions with other people, noise from roommates in the building, etc. We still expect a 5-star review whether you see someone half naked or if someone left the bathroom stinking or whatever other people problems you have...don't judge the place because of the other people living in it! The space is generally fantastic, I only supply the location. If other guests are being loud, bring your earplugs. If you're an over-sensitive person who has trouble being around other people who are just living and being comfortable in the home, then this place is not for you. If you are moving to Wisconsin in the winter you better know how to shovel a little snow, there is often no service available. I don't shovel other people's spots.
Other things to note
Our hot water is very hot. Careful setting the shower temp before stepping in. the weather seal around our front door is rather tight. If the front door doesn't unlock when it should, it is because you have to pull the door fully closed to make sure it's fully latched or else the little electric motor in the lock cannot throw the bolt. Wait for the electric motor to unlock the door before trying to turn the knob.

The space
The home you’re staying in was built in 1920. The upstairs was converted to 650 square foot apartment in the 1980’s.
The rooms are on the smaller side. The kitchen is a bit outdated. Truth be told, there are certainly some imperfections. That being said, it is cozy, clean, comfortable, and best of all, affordable!
If you’re reading this, please be kind and considerate when it comes to ratings (Airbnb puts a lot of value in them for hosts). I will do my best to accommodate any requests within my power!
Also, please don't mind my neighbors unusual choice of curtains as you pull in the driveway.

The shower is a bit tricky. In order to engage the shower head, you must pull the circular piece at the end of the tub spout. It pulls straight down from the end of the spout.
