This beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home comfortably sleeps 5. Our home features original hardwood floors, 10 foot ceilings, with an updated kitchen and bathroom. The master bedroom includes a full size bed with a large closet and a window unit air conditioner. The second bedroom provides a twin bed with a small office area. The living room has a comfortable queen sized sofa bed and also has a window unit air conditioner. This charming home also has a large front porch, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The home is located in Wausau's River Front District, just a few blocks from restaurants, bars, a great bakery and historic Downtown Wausau. Within a few blocks of our home you can watch the Wisconsin Woodchuck's play at Athletic Park, launch your kayak in the Wisconsin River, or grab some deep fried cheese curds at the B&R Grill and Swill. In the winter months, enjoy the outdoor ice rink in Downtown Wausau or take a short 10 minute drive to the Granite Peak Ski Area. The only thing I would suggest is an update of the beds which were old and noisy. A maximum of the number of persons listed on your, regardless of age, may occupy the property, or be on the premises, at any one time. No additional daytime or overnight visitors are permitted in the house without receiving permission in writing from the property manager in advance.
Check-in information will be provided no earlier than 24 hours prior to check in time.
Check in time is after 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check out time is before 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Early arrival and late departure may be arranged a head of time for an additional fee.
Upon arrival, LESSEE will conduct a full property inspection and notify LESSOR immediately of any damages noted at that time. Failure to do so will result in LESSEE being charged for anything noted by cleaning staff upon LESSEE’S departure.
Subleasing this unit is not permitted.
Adult supervision must be present at all times for anyone under the age of 18.
Should the LESSOR become aware of any violation to the above policies by LESSEE, the LESSOR will have the right to an immediate eviction of the LESSEE and all persons on the property. Any remaining nights stays will not be refunded.
All trash and recycling MUST be placed inside of trash bags that are securely tied closed.
Pick up all trash and recycling, bag it and place it in the trash and recycling cans provided and get out to curb for pick-up.
Throw out or remove ALL personal items brought into the house.
Place all soiled dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle.
Please do not strip or remake beds. Soiled towels should be left on the floor by the washer/dryer in the unit, or if the laundry is outside or does not have laundry facilities, leave the laundry on the kitchen floor.
All furniture and other items must be returned to the same position they were in at move in.

The space
We’re happy to share our peaceful backyard RV spot with you. It’s nestled right along the lake, offering beautiful views, easy water access, and a relaxing, natural setting. You’ll have a designated space to park your RV, and while the property is shared, the backyard is spacious enough for you to unwind and enjoy your own corner of nature. Whether you’re sipping coffee by the water in the morning or watching the sunset over the lake in the evening, it’s a great place to slow down and recharge.

Please Note: We can only accommodate self-contained RVs. Guests must have their own toilet and water systems onboard. No tent camping or vehicle camping without onboard facilities is allowed. For sanitary reasons, dumping of any grey water or waste on the property is strictly prohibited.

When you pull in the driveway, follow it to the left where it goes between the Pole Shed and the house. The two plug-in sites are directly ahead right next to the sand volleyball court. Park right next to the volleyball court on the grass.

You will have access to all 3 acres and the dock.

The space
Laid back living space, huge flat screen Smart TV in bedroom provides plenty of channels and has HDMI hookup. Hypoallergenic 1200 thread-count organic cotton sheets are as soft as silk. Closet and under bed drawers provide plenty of storage space. Bedroom lock has a touchpad and we have monitored security so your stuff is safe. Self check-in is easy.

Guest access
In addition to their private bedroom, guests will have shared access to the kitchen and 1 1/2 bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor, so please be considerate of fellow guests who may need the bathroom. We only supply one clean private bedroom and SHARED living space, so we expect a five-star review if you get that exactly. This is not a regular hotel where you're going to be greeted by a bellhop in a suit, you instead may be greeted by someone in their swim shorts cooking dinner in the kitchen. We are not responsible for your interactions with other people, noise from roommates in the building, etc. We still expect a 5-star review whether you see someone half naked or if someone left the bathroom stinking or whatever other people problems you have...don't judge the place because of the other people living in it! The space is generally fantastic, I only supply the location. If other guests are being loud, bring your earplugs. If you're an over-sensitive person who has trouble being around other people who are just living and being comfortable in the home, then this place is not for you. If you are moving to Wisconsin in the winter you better know how to shovel a little snow, there is often no service available. I don't shovel other people's spots.

Other things to note
Our hot water is very hot. Careful setting the shower temp before stepping in. the weather seal around our front door is rather tight. If the front door doesn't unlock when it should, it is because you have to pull the door fully closed to make sure it's fully latched or else the little electric motor in the lock cannot throw the bolt. Wait for the electric motor to unlock the door before trying to turn the knob.

Formerly known as the Rosenberry Inn (named after Judge Rosenberry who lived in the property in the 1930’s), the Bougainvillea Bed & Breakfast consists of 8 individual units, each with its own private bathroom and kitchenette. The units are fully furnished, and romantically capture the feeling of a bygone era. Each room is unique in its own way, and there is a large central kitchen and dining room on the main level which can be rented out for larger gatherings. Full laundry services are also available on-site (for a small fee), and there is ample private parking behind the building. Each room is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and keurig coffee maker, including K-cups & coffee cups + creamer & various sugar & sugar substitute packets. A hot plate and silverware is provided upon request at no extra charge. Many of the rooms also feature a sink in the kitchenette. There are new 43" flat screen smart TVs in each room, so you can enjoy watching your favorite programs on your favorite apps. Welcome to our non-smoking home! My wife and I host a 1 bedroom 1 private bathroom space upstairs. We live in the house. The bedroom has a full bed, side tables, and chair. There is also a dresser set and a closet in the room. The bathroom has a tub but no shower. There is a shower on the first floor in our bathroom that you can use. You’ll have access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, and washer/dryer.. We have on street parking all the time and off street parking by arrangement.

The space
Our beautiful house is from 1875 and the front door, which is the only entrance, has to be shut with a bit of force. Please be aware that our house is non-smoking of any kind. Please turn off all lights when not in use and especially before you leave. The stairs are next to the front door and your room and private bathroom are upstairs. The room is on the right with green carpet and the bathroom straight ahead. The bathroom has no shower only a bathtub. Please make sure the water is completely off in the bathtub before you leave.

The bed is a full bed and can generally accommodate two people. We have two air mattresses and couch to accommodate a couple more guests as needed bringing the grand total of guests to 4. Use of the air mattress will incur a $15 fee for set up, take down, and extra laundry. If you have more than 4 guests or have questions let us know. Please don’t open the windows in the room in the winter or very humid hot days. You can adjust the vent or use the fan next to your bed to cool the room off. Also, there is no tv in the room. You’re welcome to use the one downstairs.

We live downstairs. We have two cats, Missy and Bandit. They might wander around, but just make sure your doors are closed and they’ll leave you alone. They’re very friendly and would love to be your friend.

The bathroom does not have a shower. If you need a shower you are welcome to use ours downstairs when we aren’t.

The living and dining room and kitchen are all yours to use. The kitchen, living, and dining room are yours to use as you need to. The TV in the living room has Roku with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus and Hulu along with local over the air channels. In the kitchen there’s an oven, microwave, plates etc, and a coffee/ tea maker at your disposal. Please clean up after yourself.

Guest access
You can access our house via car, ride share or the D route bus (closest stop is 6th Ave and Cedar Street just a three minute walk away). You can park on the street anytime or in our driveway by arrangement. We only have a one car garage and regular sized driveway so we’ll have to arrange off street parking when needed. You’ll have a key to keep for the duration of your stay.

During your stay
We live downstairs in the house and love meeting people and would love to chat and give you whatever local advice you need. If you want your space that’s fine too. We’ll send check in information the day before you get here. We communicate very quickly through the Airbnb app.

Other things to note
A few things of note just so you’re aware: We do not rent our space for more than a month in a row unless prior arrangements are made. Off street parking can only be used with prior arrangement because our driveway isn’t very big and the only shower in the house is in our bathroom and can be used when we aren’t using it. Also, be careful as the hot water is really hot. Also, we do have room for more than two guests (for $20 per guest fee after 2) should you need it. We can discuss those logistics. The lamp in your room must have the second light switch flipped to on to control it. Please be gentle with the antique desk in your room and use a coaster. There is no tv in the room and no shower in the bathroom. Please make sure the water in the bathtub is completely off before you leave.

You can use the TV and shower downstairs. Finally, please make sure the front door actually shuts as it can be finicky.

During your stay
I have had guests that want total privacy and guests that want to interact like family but still have their private space. It’s all good with me. If you’re the one who chooses to be like family you’ll be invited to cookouts, boating, hanging out etc. if you’re the one who wants total privacy, you’ll never see me!

I am here to help however I’m able. Directions, suggestions, a ride etc. just a text away or stop on upstairs.

Cozy king bedroom featuring giant Roku Smart TV 100 plus channels ceiling fan privacy lock on first floor with shared kitchen space and bath on the street and off the street parking three blocks from Art Museum beautiful location on historic East Hill 5 to 7 blocks from downtown restaurants and bars with a view of RibMountain the best ski hill in the Midwest the Wisconsin River and numerous lakes nearby for fishing kayaking and boating 25 minutes from CWA airport 5 minutes to hospitals.

The space
Laid-back living space huge flat screen TV in bedroom provides plenty of channels and has HDMI hookup hypoallergenic 1200 count organic cotton sheets that are soft to Silk closet and under bed drawers provides plenty of storage space bedroom lock in addition to their private bedroom guest will have shared access to Kitchen and Bath there are two bedrooms on the first floor so please be considerate a fellow guest who may need the bathroom we only Supply one private bedroom and shared living space so we can expect a five-star review if you get that exactly this is not a regular hotel where you are going to be greeted by a bellhop in a suit you instead me greeted by someone in their swim shorts cooking dinner in their kitchen we are not responsible for your interactions with other people noise from roommates in the building Etc we still expect a five-star review whether you see someone half naked or someone left of the bathrooms stinking or whatever people problems you have don't judge the place because of other people's living in it I only Supply the location if the other guests are being allowed bring your earplugs if you're over sensitive person who has trouble being around other people who are just living and being comfortable in the home then this is not the place for you if you are moving to Wisconsin in the winter you better know how to shovel snow there is often no service available.

our water is very hot careful setting the shower temp before stepping in the weather seal around the front door is rather tight if the front door doesn't unlock then it should it is because you have to pull the door fully close to make sure it's fully latched or else or the little electric motor in the lock cannot throw the bolt wait for the electric motor to unlock the door before trying to turn the knob

In a quiet neighborhood on a street filled with charming older homes. We have a fenced in backyard with a patio firepit dining area a hot tub and outdoor television. Upstairs area is all newly remodeled and has a unique flare. Perfect space for short term rentals. Laundry available if needed. Kitchen and bathroom are shared spaces. Favorable to those who enjoy skiing/snowboarding at Granite Peak. We do have a cat named Billy.

Kitchen and bathroom are on mainfloor and are shared spaces. Guest bedroom is upstairs and includes a separate space with 2 futon and a television.
