Relax in this well appointed two bedroom, two bath home tucked in the Boreal Forest on the Lake Michigan shore in the heart of the quiet side of Door County. The home is located about 6 miles (10 minutes) from Baileys Harbor, 9 miles (15 minutes) from Sister Bay or Ephraim and 14 miles (20 minutes) from Fish Creek. The home is conveniently located near many restaurants, shops, hiking trails, parks and other local attractions.

Outside, enjoy the view from the benches or hammocks along the shoreline, or while sitting on the large deck at the front of the house. Or maybe roast marshmallows around the campfire. With a little luck, you might see a pelican, a bald eagle, a pileated woodpecker, or a seagull dive for a fish. A two-person kayak and two paddle boards are included to explore the lake. If you just want to cool off in the lake, make sure to bring your water shoes; the bedrock beach is rocky.

The open great room features large patio doors and windows looking out to the Cana Island lighthouse and Lake Michigan. The patio doors open onto a large deck bordering the front of the home. On cool nights, enjoy the wood burning fireplace too! The couch, oversized chair and other seating provide ample seating for conversation or watching a movie on the 55" flat screen TV with a variety of streaming services or the Blu-Ray player. The couch and oversized chair convert to a queen and single bed if you need. These pullout beds are comfortable - really; no springs or support bars to stick into your back! There is a large cabinet that holds a wide selection of games, puzzles, movies, and books.

Set in a beautiful wooded lot this unique 2,026 sq ft home will make you feel welcome. With covered decks, screen porch, natural wood burning stone fireplace with sunken seating, and accents of natural cedar with rustic charm and elegance.

Two bedrooms: One downstairs with queen bed and private deck looking out to Lake Michigan. The second upstairs with a king size bed. The first floor bedroom opens onto a private deck with great views of Lake Michigan.

The great room has huge picture windows looking out to the lake and a Panoramic door leading from the great room into the covered screen deck. A very comfortable king size sofa sleeper and armchairs are located in the great room to both take advantage of the view and enjoy the TV and BluRay player. There is also a game table in this room, a variety of board games, movies and books are available for your use. The great room also has a wood-burning fireplace with sunken seating area.

Overlooking the great room is a loft with a full size sofa-sleeper and seating looking out the front windows to the lake. Great place to sit, relax and read a book.

Off the great room is a dining room with table seating 8. The dining room also opens up to the screened deck area.

The kitchen is full equipped: Refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker, Gas range and electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. Coffee maker and other common small appliances are provided. The cabinet is stocked with typical staple items for your use.

- "We had a wonderful week at Wild Cedars. This was our first time to stay on the Lake Michigan side of the peninsula and everyone loved it. Wild Cedars was the perfect house and location for our multi-generational group-- ages 17-74. In addition to a beautiful decor, the house is fully equipped and offered all the supplies that we needed for our week there. We did most of our own cooking and were delighted to find pots & pans, every imaginable kitchen tool, serving dishes, dinnerware and even basic seasonings in the cupboards. The screen porch was my favorite place to linger. With a view of the lake through the trees and breezes off the water it was a perfect read, rest and talk with family members. I especially appreciated Steve's quick responses to all of my questions prior to our stay and during. I couldn't have asked for quicker or more clear responses - - thank you. Everyone in our group is very sorry that Wild Cedars is not available next year when we are - - we would return in a heartbeat!"

This lovely Door County cabin is a beautiful home located in the town of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. It sits on 3-1/2 wooded acres in a secluded, but not remote location. The entire cabin is available to our guests. There are two bedrooms, with very comfortable queen sized beds. The skylight and large windows in the cabin means that the space is always full of sunlight. We have a lovely, huge firepit on the property for your use and there is a flame view propane stove in the living room for those cool evenings. The cabin has central heating and central air conditioning. We are pet friendly. We want guests to be aware that this is a heavily wooded location -- so lovely and private. But there are critters in the woods -- we see deer very often. That means there is a possibility you may have squirrels or other small critters walking across the roof or yard. We have a company called Mosquito Squad spray the acreage with pet and people friendly spray to keep mosquito and tick populations down -- and our guests tell us that it works very well!

Baileys on the Rocks "Rockledge" Cottage is a private cottage located on a small rock bluff in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin in beautiful Door County. Situated on a wooded lot and directly across the street from Lake Michigan, you'll find it hard to believe you are in the village of Baileys Harbor and within walking distance of its popular beaches, harbor, restaurants and quaint shops.
The cottage was built in 1939 and is 1 story (684 sq ft), with the bathroom and both bedrooms are on the main level. 1 bedroom features a queen sized bed while the other bedroom has a set of twin beds. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo. This charming cottage sits atop the limestone bluff with partial water views and a quaint screened porch.
Guests have full access to the cottage. The cottage is on a shared lot with another cottage, and while both cottages have their own separate outdoor space, we ask that you be respectful of the guests occupying the other cottage.

The surrounding area is more secluded with not a lot of houses around. It is a quick drive to the tourist area with many shops, bars and other attractions. Yard and entrance is completely secluded making it private and feel like there is not others around.

We have two master bedroom suites with king sized beds and en-suite baths in each room. There is a separate entry for the second bedroom from the front porch. Relax in the sunroom enjoying epic sunsets!! The perfect escape for everyone. Our house is less than 10 minutes from both Egg Harbor on Green Bay to the west and Baileys Harbor on Lake Michigan to the east. Kayak rentals and tours, as well as grocery stores, are also less than 10 minutes away.

This property is walking distance to Kangaroo Lake. Featured on Travel Wisconsin! NEW AC installed in April of 2019! I have two kayaks for rental as well. This is an A frame cabin with a loft area that has 3 beds. There is an additional bed downstairs. The backyard has patio and is completely secluded by trees that surround it. It is a short drive (roughly 10 minutes) to the shops, restaurants, ice cream/candy stores, and the Lake Michigan Harbor. There is so much around to do, kayak, snowmobile, ice fish, regular fishing, hiking, biking and so much more! It is available all year round with a cozy wood burner. The snowmobile trails run right through with plenty of parking on the lot. Across the street is a great restaurant/bar that hosts events and has delicious, reasonably priced food. This place is great for families, friends, or a couples getaway.

Early check in is ONLY available if the cleaner gets it cleaned early. I will notify you if early check in is available the day of. I cannot guarantee early check in otherwise. Normally she does have it ready early but I can’t make promises. :)

The Cabin is in the heart of the county, affording easy and efficient access to anything you want to do. The spot is amazingly quiet for being just off E and across from Coyote Roadhouse (a HUGE plus, by the way). We didnt realize before staying that the Cabin was essentially a duplex. That said, we had 3 different "neighbors" during our week-long stay and honestly never heard them once. The separate decks and fire pit areas are totally secluded--a very nice touch. The host was excellent and responsive. A few things to note. These are not necessarily negatives, just things to consider" 1. You will need to bring bottled drinking water. Lots of well water in Door County, but this water is noticeably "welly." Most folks will be put off by smell and taste. Bring bottled water. 2. Cabin is wood framed inside and has a wood burning stove. It smells like a cabin, woody. That's to be expected. 3. While the Cabin can sleep 8+, the king bed is on the main floor, bottom of a sprial staircase. Anyone staying upstairs has to walk dirctly past/over that king bed to use the bathroom. Might be awkward for non-families. 4. The spiral staircase is narrow and steep. Very narrow and steep. Hauling luggage upstairs is a challenge. Anyone with mobilty issues or small children: forget about going upstairs. Again, not a problem if you are aware in advance. Overall awesome!"

Baileys on the Rocks "Arbor" Cottage is situated on a wooded lot just across the street from Lake Michigan and within walking distance to all that downtown Baileys Harbor has to offer. The cottage was completely renovated in 2012, and features so much character with it'svaulted ceilings, open floor plan, Door County field stone fire place and a bright, beautiful kitchen.
The cottage is 1 story (1,074 sq ft), so once you enter the house there are no stairs. 1 bedroom features a queen-sized bed while the other bedroom has a set of twin beds. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo.
Guests have full access to the cottage. The cottage is on a shared lot with another cottage, and while both cottages have their own separate outdoor space, we ask that you be respectful of the guests occupying the other cottage.

Heggland is a 3 acre peninsula on the east side of Baileys Harbor on Lake Michigan.

You can wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise, or sit down and enjoy the sunset views in the evening. The house is well kept and very updated with the latest amenities. The two bedrooms have queen size beds and the enclosed loft has 2 double beds and 2 single beds.

The shoreline is mainly a rocky shoreline with great bass fishing, but there is also a lagoon and depending on the year some beach area (depends on lake conditions). Just a short distance to town, you can shop or have a wide variety of dining options. There is also great swimming, fishing and hiking. Heggland does offer an optional boat slip, please inquire when making your reservation or in advance of your stay.

Situated in the heart of down town Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. You can sit in the kitchen and see Lake Michigan as you drink your morning coffee. You have the whole house to yourself, but we own a coffee shop one building over, in case you need anything. The house is a late 1920's house, but newly upgraded, with a new kitchen and bathroom.

You can go for long walks down the private drive and nearby nature preserve. View the abundant wild flowers and beautiful woods. Watch for various wildlife such as deer, turkey, wood chucks, eagles, swans, pelicans and many more local creatures. Walk a little further and explore the Heins Creek Nature Preserve, with it’s winding creek that flows between Kangaroo Lake and Lake Michigan. In the spring and fall you can often watch trout and salmon spawning in the shallow stream

You can enjoy gathering around the fire pit by the shoreline for roasting marshmallows and telling your favorite stories beneath the bright starry sky.

The location is perfect; not in the middle of the noisy busy part of the county, yet centrally located and close enough to get most places in under 10 minutes.

The Idleside Cottage is the perfect place to sit back, relax and idle in the quiet side of the Door County peninsula. Please note that we are a small (but mighty!) cottage with approximately 800 square feet. If you are 6'4" or taller, you may not be comfortable due to the ceiling height.

There are spiral stairs that lead to the main bedroom. There are kitchen appliances for use. There is plenty of room for parking. Great for ice fishing and snowmobilers. (trail runs right past driveway).

The patio has a table with chairs. There are extra chairs around as well. This is a side by side so the booking is for one half unless you book both.

Other things to note
Each half of the cabin looks identical to each other with a two way lock door in the middle. Each yard and entrance is completely separate making it private and feel like there is not others around.

Havngård House is a charming and historic home located in downtown Baileys Harbor, which has fast become the center of all the action in Door County! Walk to the marina, beaches, shops & restaurants. Hike & explore the unique ecology of the beautiful Ridges Sanctuary across the street. Catch live music & great beer at the Door County Brewing Company! The ultimate base for festivals like the Door County Beer Festival, Peninsula Century Ride, Fourth of July and Autumn Fest!

The space
Havngård House might be one of the more historic homes in Baileys Harbor (almost 160 years old!) , but it is very clean, comfortable and unique. The three upstairs bedrooms can comfortably sleep 6-8 people. Bedroom 1 has a queen and twin daybed, bedroom 2 has a queen, and bedroom 3 has a twin-over-full size bunkbed. Additionally there is a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Upstairs has a half bath and downstairs a full bath. Enjoy the airy eat-in kitchen or have coffee in the sun on the back patio deck. The house is fully furnished with wifi, satellite TV , bluetooth soundbars and a vintage vinyl record player. The large backyard and deck is a great morning or evening hangout space and has a charcoal grill and fire pit. If you're up for the world class fishing, we're less than a block from the marina and the various charter fishing companies and there is ample space for parking your own boat trailer in the driveway.

Open concept 1st floor with gas fireplace, kitchen, and dining room. Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms and a full bath. Sit and relax on the screened-in porch, open front porch, or around the outdoor fire pit and enjoy the privacy and nature around you.

A quiet and peaceful place to make your base camp while enjoying all Door County has to offer.
