- "The property was exactly what I was looking for, a clean affordable place to stay while my wife and I explored the eastern upper peninsula to see the beautiful fall colors. The only complaint I had was that the furniture was not comfortable, but I didn't spend too much time sitting around so it was not a huge problem. A nice surprise was catching a peek of the sunrise coming up over the lake across the street." - "We had a great time at this place. It was cozy and just a few minutes from town. The place was clean when we checked in and had everything we needed. The yard is beautiful and well kept."

- "The room was perfect and was exact to the picture and description. I know this is a new listing and the owner has more work to do, like a blind over the kitchen sink and maybe something for the closet. But everything was great and we will stay again in that room. (Don't let the outside scare you away) older building that needs some work on the outside, but the room was better than any hotel we have stayed at in Escanaba. Thank you so very much."

- "We thoroughly enjoyed and adored this house and our entire stay! We had our coffee and relaxed in the newer, well kept hot tub every morning and were pleasantly surprised with the wildlife we saw which included turkey, deer, crow, bird, and chipmunk. Each night after a day of exploring we relaxed in the hot tub and cuddled around the fire. The hosts provided everything necessary as well as s’more supplies, wood, starter, etc. The bed was also very comfortable and the house was clean. The only thing I would have liked to see were bug zappers as the mosquitos/midges/gnats got in the house when going out to the hot tub at night. Highly recommend this stay!"

- "This was our 2nd time staying at Phil's property. He is amazing to work with and prides himself on happy visitors. We caught some nice perch, off the dock and out of the kayaks. It's always a pleasant surprise to find locations that allow dogs, and yet are still clean! All of us with furry family members appreciate the decent place to stay with our WHOLE family. The only downfall is the bed, which of course it's a personal preference, but neither of us found it comfortable at all. There are basic seasonings and dishware, which makes cooking or grilling quite convenient. If you are looking for a nice place, off the beaten path, but yet not far from a town we definitely suggest renting one of the red bridge rentals!"

Highly recommend!" - "Our 3rd year at this property... We will be back for year 4." - "The stay was awesome per usual! Very secluded property with a pond to fish for Bluegill and swim. Highly recommended" - "The cabin and property are so beautiful and quiet. Just what we needed. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. They made sure we had firewood for the week at no extra charge. The property manager, Zac, was super nice and helpful. Close to beaches, Lake Michigan, several golf courses, and just far enough from Escanaba and Gladstone. Or just sit and relax at the cabin or take a walk on the many groomed trails on the 160 acre property. We watched the turkeys and deer every day. The mattress in the master bedroom was very firm. But the mattress in the 2nd bedroom was soft and comfortable. This cabin is a 1-1/2 bath. The only shower/bath tub is in the master bedroom. Not a problem for the two of us, but if my brother, his wife, and son would have come with us, it would have been an issue. We are planning on staying here again some day."

Make use of a propane gas BBQ for your favorite lunch. It's a great spot to swim or launch your kayak, especially with a fishing pole! It's an easy drive to hit up a nearby golf course, snowmobile trail, fishing hot spot, or public hunting land.

It was perfect! The sunrises were the most amazing every single morning! I have hundreds of pictures!!! I can’t thank you enough Bridgette! 💗💗💗" - "We loved it! It was total peace! - "This apartment was very clean, quaint and just overall cute! Important thing to note is that our reservation did not provide us with check in validation/instruction or internet information. We needed to reach out to the property manager for this. Ended up being okay; however, led to some confusion due to the wording of the reservation confirmation." - "We stayed for two nights at this spacious and clean apartment near Escanaba. The space was supplied with everything we needed. The only minus was that it was located on a busy road, although that didn't bother us. We would stay there again. "

The U.P. really is a year-round playground. Winter offers skiing at our cute little town ski hill, ice fishing, snowmobiling - and just about any other winter activity you can think of (our favorite is hot drinks by the fire).
Spring and Summer bring glorious weather and swimming, sailing, fishing, boating, biking and again, almost any other favorite summer activity you enjoy (enjoying a cold beverage on the patio - here, here).
Fall is breathtakingly beautiful with the air getting crisp and the leaves changing color and the best leaf peeping around.
