This house is in a fantastic location, just one block from the heart of town, can walk to everything! (festivals in the park, Bridge St. shops, marina, Oleson's Supermarket, movie theater, farmer's market, mushroom houses, splash pad, park, music concerts, local beaches, drawbridge-lighthouse, bars and restaurants). With one bedroom (full-size bed) and a pullout couch (queen-sized bed) in the living area, this is the ideal up-north getaway for a couple or small family. Located just minutes from Petoskey and Harbor Springs, this is a great, central location up north, and on the water. This is one of several cabins and cottages that share appx 200' of waterfront. Small bathroom. This is one of the only cottages in the association with central heat and a washer and dryer for guests. Dockage available for pontoon or fishing boat (only 1 trailer parking area for all cabins, please RESERVE with me before bringing your trailer so I can reserve the parking area, dock is in mid-May through mid-Oct). Crooked Lake is part of the inland waterway that connects to Lake Huron through Burt and Mullett Lakes. It is a great lake for fishing (year round), kayaking, paddleboarding, or just boating and swimming.

This stunning 125+ year old cabin in Good Hart with private beach access along the Tunnel of Trees is walking distance from Good Hart. Located on M-119, it is just 20 minutes North of Harbor Springs and 10 minutes North is Cross Village/Legs Inn. This is a perfect place to get away from it all whether you want to do a fall color tour, ski, motorcycle, or hit up all the gorgeous beaches this area has to offer. Cozy cabin located on 40 acres surrounded by state land, centrally located between Petoskey, Indian River and Wolverine with direct access to trails. In the south east corner of Emmet county, the cabin sleeps 6 comfortably. 5 beds (4 twin, 1 queen) are located upstairs and are bunk house style with semi privacy. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, hot shower, 50 inch flat screen TV with DirecTV and washer/dryer. Cellular service is good in the upstairs and outside and we now have TrueStream, high speed internet!! There is a covered patio, with a fire pit for nightly campfires, with picnic tables also. Located 13 miles from Petoskey, 20 miles from Boyne City, 8 Miles from Indian River and 20 Miles from Harbor Springs. We reserved this cabin because of its proximity to Boyne Mountain, however the distance to Boyne is a bit further than the 15 miles we originally thought (if you prefer to not travel secondary/ORV roads). It’s more like 25 miles away via paved roads. Also, the beds were a bit short for those in the 6’ 3” range. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. Easy check in and out. Cottage home 3 blocks from the beauty of Lake Charlevoix is the best value in town to sleep 6 people! High speed internet and cable. Professionally cleaned. Close to downtown dining, microbreweries, and shopping. 3 blocks to peninsula beach or marina. Just a short drive to Young state park public beach area. Master bedroom with Queen bed, Second bedroom with queen and third has twin bunk beds. Large deck is great for outdoor living space. Stack washer and dryer. The location is very central to other great attractions! Boyne Mountain Resort is under 10 minutes away and offers top notch golf and skiing, Petoskey lakefront and shopping is a short 22 minute drive, Old Mission Peninsula wineries is an hour and 15 minutes, Mackinaw city is also an hour drive. So many things to do year round; beaches, boating, numerous golf courses, biking, hiking, zip lining, snowmobiling and kayaking.

Guests have full access to the mini cabin, any of the mowed yard, we advise you stay out of the non mowed areas for the sake of any potential holes that have not been filled in yet. There is a house on the property but it is not livable at this time and will remain locked.

Other things to note
There is a vacant/ non-liveable house on the property. Occasionally we stop by to drop trash in the dumpster or work on the house. We will always give you a heads up beforehand If we decide to stop by. occasionally we have contractors working on the house.

We are on m-68. You can hear and see cars going by and there are no trees blocking the view of the road unfortunately.

The cabin is well insulated so you may have no issues with sound. We also provide heaters and fans to help with the noise.

We do have a water spigot 10 feet away that should run year round and a maintained porta potty. We have a portable camping shower unit But you would need to heat up your own water.

We take pride in offering a great deal of amenities to take the stress of remembering every tiny detail while packing.

You have access to just under an acre and 135 foot of sturgeon river frontage, a fire area, wood, grill and accessories, kids play structures and we back up to the lumberjack campground.

The space
The Glamping A-frame is an 8 x 12 space. We utilize the space to the maximum capacity.

We have one full size extra long mattress, which is suitable for travelers over 6 feet tall and one futon. The futon is suitable for small children but too short for adults.

As of summer 2024 we now have solar panels on the a-frame. power from these is limited and they will not run a heating source but will run a van. We also have portatable and rechargeable devices such as a Bluetooth speaker, rechargeable radio, rechargeable lights, lots of solar lights in our yard and so much more to help make you stay more comfortable and convenient.

There is just under an acre that we own in between the two lumberjack parks and we are the only private location that is not right next to the highway.

You will have private access to 135 feet of Sturgeon River frontage, a frog pond, children’s play structures, a swing set with solar powered lights, a cleaned and maintained porta potty, solar shower and we are walking distance to the lumberjack park (directly behind us, approximately 1000 feet to the showers and public restrooms) please note that I have no control over when the public restrooms will be open or closed, sometimes they close routinely for maintenance. We do have a solar powered shower! Heating this will depend on the weather outside, of course.

There is a house on the property, detached garage and one shed, but the house is not livable and no one resides there.

We fit 4 in the glamping unit and you are able to have more than 4 guests if you wish to put a tent or even a few tents in the yard! It would be $10 per extra guest, if so please let me know how many tents!

Guests will have access to the entire yard, fruit trees (when in season) river, can utilize the large horseshoe pit behind the house, adjoining to the lumberjack park.

The house, garage, and shed will be locked. The house is not livable and is completely off limits.

We are walking distance to the ice cream shop, which has amazing pizza and miscellaneous foods.

On top of the hill, across the road from the house, there is a convenient store, and Sturgeon River paddle sports that rents kayaks and tubes. As of Summer 2024, the bar and grill is now open and within walking distance.

Come soak in the hot tub after a long day skiing in Northern Michigan! This cozy house is a set in a quiet neighborhood, close to the local schools, parks, tennis courts, beach or a short drive to Boyne Highlands or Nubs We are a small, but busy family.

The space
Please note, this small house is home to myself, 2 kids and two furry friends most of the year. We are not originally from Northern Michigan, so we rent the space out while we travel to visit our family and friends, or while #vanlifeing in our Sprinter camper van. We are happy to share our home and love to be able to take part in your family adventures!! As you will notice when you arrive, one of the bedrooms is always a dedicated 'Guest Room', while the other two bedrooms are typically used as our bedrooms. We do our best to put our things away or aside to give you the best possible experience while staying in our home. We do a thorough cleaning, but please keep in mind, unlike a typical hotel, our family pets live here :) If anyone has severe dog or cat allergies, make note of this and make the best decision if this is for you!

Guests are welcome to explore our entire property, which includes several walking trails. You can also easily access a few large nature conservancies from our land. We are surrounded by hundreds of acres of state land, all open for your exploration, with access through our property.

Please respect private property boundaries—our neighbors value their land, and we ask that you do too. We recommend using a navigation app to stay aware of your location and avoid accidentally wandering onto private land.

Private Amenities
While the , axe throwing, jacuzzi, shooting range and archery are reserved for our family’s private use, we’re happy to share them with guests. Please ask before using these amenities, and donations for use are greatly appreciated to help cover maintenance costs. You will receive a welcome email with extra experiances available.

Wilderness Safety & Hunting Season
Our property is surrounded by beautiful state land filled with wildlife, including black bears, coyotes, and other animals. Please stay alert when exploring and be mindful of ticks during warmer months.

🦺 Hunting Seasons:
State land is actively used during hunting seasons. Small game hunting is open year-round, and other seasons vary. For your safety, wear blaze orange when walking on state land during hunting seasons or avoid the area altogether. Always check the Michigan DNR website for the latest regulations.

Important: While we do hunt our own land, guests are not permitted to hunt, or to use any tree stands or ground blinds on our private property.

🔔 Summer Logging Notice:
Selective logging may occur on the back 80 acres of surrounding land this summer. If it happens during your stay, it could lead to some daytime noise. While it’s outside of our control, we’ll keep you updated if any activity is scheduled.

Winter Bookings (Nov 15 – Mid May)
In the winter months, the cabin becomes a true off-grid adventure:

The cabin is located at the back of the property—if there’s snow, guests will need to hike in (possibly with snowshoes).

Our driveway and road can be extremely slippery or icy. If conditions are unsafe, you may need to park at an alternate spot off the main road and walk in. Please plan accordingly.

Heating is provided only by the wood stove—no other heat source is available.

Solar power is limited in winter, so please bring extra battery-powered lanterns and chargers.

All running water is shut down for the season. You'll need to bring your own water or melt snow for basic needs.

LOCATION! LOCATION! Enjoy a bigger, more private lot in the resort campground with one bedroom, one full bath, kitchen and living room. Large deck, firepit and short walk to trails and outdoor pool/clubhouse. ROOM ENOUGH FOR TWO - 25 minutes south of Mackinaw City and 15 minutes north of Petoskey. Close to Indian River. Two minutes to small town of Alanson, bike path, laundromat, bakery, Marathon gas, grocery, and restaurants.

The space
This is a cozy one-bedroom with a kitchen, full bath, and living room with nice big windows. Full-size bed with new linens and pillows. Fully-equipped kitchen has microwave, utensils, dishes, cups and glasses, pots and pans, bowls, paper products, and more. A large deck gives you extra room on warm, sunny days. Free parking on-site.

An 80s interior that's in super shape! I've been told it looks way better on the inside and nicer than the photos. We spring deep-clean each spring and I'm persnickity keeping it clean and hair-free throughout the season. Feel free to use the barbeque and fire pit. Firewood for sale on site. It is not rented in winter but has forced air heat for chillier days.

The refrigerator is stocked with staples like butter, bagels or bread, and ice. Ground coffee, coffee grinder, tea, and teapot.

The place is all yours and parking is free. Please use driveway, and do not park in the road. Only two cars to this spot and both must be parked in driveway. Once you book, more information will be available for you to enter the unit. You have access to the pool (until Labor Day) and showers/bathroom at the office/clubhouse. I just ask that you don’t enter the home dripping wet from the pool. Their bathroom facilities are nice and big for changing and showering if you choose.

Other things to note
The stove is gas and we will turn on the propane for you as well as the water heater. I will light the pilots so all you have to do is turn on the stove. On chilly days I will turn on the heat and ask that you turn it down before you leave.

Private second floor bedroom in my charming cottage close to the Highlands, Nubs Nob and many golf courses near Harbor Springs and Petoskey. Ideal location for all that northern Michigan has to offer. Please be advised that access is up a circular stairway. Must be able to climb stairs.

The private bedroom is on the second floor and is very quiet and cozy. There is a small refrigerator with freezer, microwave and dishes in the room. The bathroom is right next door and for your private use.

Except for other bedrooms and baths, feel free to enjoy the living room, and dining room. Also, enjoy the outside deck area along with the screened porch.

There are pets on the premises. I have two friendly cats and a new White German shepherd puppy. They are not allowed in your room, however, they do roam the rest of the house freely. So if you have pet allergies please take that into consideration.
As mentioned in "description " access to the second floor bedroom is up a circular stairway. I'm 70 years of age and it is easy for me. Just something to consider.
In addition, due to some previous damage, no children under the age of twelve (including infants) and NO pets.
