Welcome to Pentwater! Our River House is located just 1 mile to downtown Pentwater. 1.25 miles to Lake Michigan beaches. The recently remodeled two level house features 2 bedrooms with 1- full bath and 1 1/2 bath. This entire house rental is the only direct Pentwater River frontage rental in the area. Updated in 2022 the house will sleep up to 5 guests. You will enjoy a large front/rear yard with a private quite 250 square foot elevated deck overlooking several hundred acres of unobstructed woods. The 1.5 acre wooded property features 300 feet of direct river shoreline/access. We have a large campfire area on the river with an outdoor gas grill. The house has all the kitchen amenities you will need including AC-Wi-Fi , two separate TV's (upper and lower level). River House is located in a wooded low traffic setting perfect for walks and biking. FYI: although the house is very well stocked we only provide comforters and pillows; you are responsible for your own sheets and towels. 2 queen beds and a double futon.

The first floor boasts a convenient washer and dryer as well as a half bathroom, with stairs leading up to the main living area. Upstairs, you'll find the bright and spacious living room, a master bedroom with a slider to the wrap-around deck, and a second bedroom with bunk beds - a full bed on the bottom and a single bed on top, also with a slider to the deck. Our large, bright kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and utensils you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. And if you prefer to cook outside, we also provide a convenient propane grill on the deck for your use just outside the kitchen slider.

Stay connected with loved ones and stay on top of work with our new high-speed internet access by Starklink. And if you're up for some adventure, explore the adjacent 250 acres of state land with trails for biking and hiking. The main sleeping area sleeps 2 on the double bed and two in the bunk beds, with queen sofa sleeper, accommodating 2 more. The living room features a sofa, chairs, and flat screen smart tv. The cabin has an updated bath and a fully equipped kitchen. The rental also provides access to paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards, as available. The cabin sits on a couple of wooded acres on the lake, providing waterfront, woods, and access to beaches and the pier.

Cabin 4 is referred to as "Up North," and sleeps 7. The cabin is roughly 600 square feet, with an open floor plan. The main sleeping area sleeps 2 on the double bed, the sofa sleeper has a queen pull out that sleeps 2, and the front porch is another "bedroom," with bunk beds and a pull out trundle, sleeping 3 more. The living room has all new furniture, including a sleeper sofa, chairs, and flat screen smart tv, just in case of rain. The cabin has a bath that was just updated with a new stool and vanity, and has a fully equipped kitchen with apartment size appliances. The rental also provides access to paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards, as available. The cabin sits on a couple of wooded acres on the lake, providing waterfront, woods, and access to beaches and the pier.

We are a small, family run operation, and have some limitations due to the fact that we don't have "staff." We're set up for weekly rentals, with check-in and check-out on Fridays. This allows us to stay organized and keep the cabins up to our standard of clean, which we think you'll be very happy with. It also allows us to spend time working on other projects and spending time with our family.

We do have a limited number of boat slips available for an additional $200/week. Please check for availability with your reservation. Slips will be held, upon request, as part of your reservation, and cash payment is due upon arrival.

Mears State Park is a short walk from the cottage and offers sandy white beaches adjacent to a harbor pier. The Concord Cottage accommodations include a master bedroom with a queen bed, family room with dining/game table, bathroom with tub shower, kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, oven & microwave. There is a bonus room with two sets of bunk beds with 4 twin beds and a sleeper sofa. There are 2 Smart TVs with wifi connection in both the main living room and the bunk room. There is a peaceful, screened in porch in the front and a deck in the back with a propane grill to make dining decisions a little bit easier. The fully stocked kitchen includes a coffee maker, toaster, dishes, and pots/pans. For your beach excursions, we offer 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs and an umbrella. I will say this is a no frills house- basic cooking supplies & linens not included (as the listing states). But we loved having beach chairs and umbrella. One thing to note: We stayed with older children ages 8-15 and the bunks were great but this is not a place for younger kids. Bunk rails on the top were missing on 1 bunk and the other was too low to stop a child from rolling off. Also stairs without a gate and unsecured dresser in the main bedroom. I also think a VERY easy safety upgrade would be smoke detectors in every bedroom/room."

This old fashion seasonal cottage is cozy with wood floors, bright interior, and large windows to enjoy the gardens all around including the secluded wooded area out the back. It is a nice private space to call your own.

Guest access
The whole cottage will be yours to yourself. There is plenty of room for relaxing or working if need be. Bed has new mattress as of fall 2024. The yard has a shared fire pit to build a fire, wood provided, and a nice area to sit outside for a drink, lunch or dinner alfresco. Two bikes are available to explore the beautiful garden filled Pentwater neighborhoods, or ride to Lake Michigan just a short distance away. In the summer, beach towels, chairs and cooler are provided for a day at the beach.

Other things to note
We live on the property and spend as much time as we can in the yard. You may run into me in the yard weeding or watering. We also have two friendly rambunctious dogs, Lola and Sophie that will say hello, they will also be out in the yard during your stay.
Parking available for one car only. No trailers, or golf carts. We like to be respectful to our neighbors, so no parties allowed.

10 Minutes from downtown Pentwater and 20 minutes to ludington/silver lake. Cell service inside is spotty. I personally leave my phone in the window. Or talk outside. This is a place you take a break from electronics. Also it is in the woods. So you may occasionally see a bug inside. It is something we try to avoid but it’s in the woods so it happens.

The cabin has an updated bath and a fully equipped kitchen. The rental also provides access to paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards, as available. The cabin sits on a couple of wooded acres on the lake, providing waterfront and woods with plenty to do.

The Concord cottage is in a prime location one block from downtown Pentwater and less than a quarter mile to the sandy beaches and sparkling waters of beautiful Lake Michigan. Downtown Pentwater is a quaint, coastal village with restaurants, sweet treats, shopping and a village green for a short nap or local events.

Mears State Park is a short walk from the cottage and offers sandy white beaches adjacent to a harbor pier. The Concord Cottage accommodations include a master bedroom with a queen bed, family room with dining/game table, bathroom with tub shower, kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, oven & microwave. There is a bonus room with two sets of bunk beds with 4 twin beds and a sleeper sofa. There are 2 Smart TVs with wifi connection in both the main living room and the bunk room. KITCHEN: There is not a dishwasher in the home due to limited space so all dishes used will need to be hand washed. Supplies for this are under the sink. We have tried to fully stock kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and most cooking/dining essentials!

DINING: In addition to dinette and stools/counter in kitchen, there are TV trays in living room.

OUTDOORS: Fire pit and picnic table for use outside! Firewood is not supplied and will need to be purchased. Roasting sticks are also available in the rental.

A modern A-frame cottage with rustic ambiance, nestled into woods of white pine and black oak just north of Pentwater. Guests have full access to the entire apartment and a private patio with a hot tub. There's also parking space for vehicles and enough space for a boat trailer for those wanting to bring their boat or ORV for the sand dunes. The beach volleyball court in the front yard is shared with neighbors.

Relax and enjoy our family cottage on the shores of Bass Lake in Pentwater, MI! Enjoy beautiful sunset views overlooking the famous “Three Sisters Sand Dunes.” Spend the day relaxing by the water or swimming in the sandy shallows of Bass Lake. Enjoy the use of 4 kayaks and a paddle board, fish off the dock, or roast marshmallows over an evening campfire.

The space
Our cottage is located on Bass Lake, there is a seawall and dock with stairs into the water, the water is shallow approximately 2 feet deep near the seawall, sandy bottom, great for swimming! We are on a private drive, with easy access to the public boat launch. Enjoy using our kayaks to paddle around the area or paddle across the lake and down the channel to Lake Michigan (a scenic paddle of approximately 25 min).

The cottage has 3 bedrooms including a queen-sized master bed, a bunk room that sleeps 4, an additional queen bed located off the main living area that is separated by a curtain. We also have a portable memory foam mattress available with extra bedding.

Note: We do not have air conditioning, the cottage has artesian well water

The cottage includes numerous amenities for your convenience including a washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, pack-and-play, high chair, numerous life jackets, 4 kayaks, paddle board, several inflatables, outdoor lounge area, hammock, and firepit.

This vintage style cottage was recently renovated and we are excited to be able to share it with guests. At 650 square feet we have designed every square inch to be usable. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths this cozy and comfortable space is perfect for couples or small families. It is located on a wooded lot in a quiet neighborhood and overlooks a creek. Easy walk (or take the bikes provided) to the white sandy of Mears Beach and the charming downtown shops that make Pentwater a summer destination.

The space
Quiet and peaceful, this beautifully renovated cottage at 650 square feet is small but oh so cozy! We have two bedrooms and two full baths, one with a deep tub. The smaller bedroom features a Helix queen size mattress. The larger bedroom features high ceilings, a Helix King size mattress, a closet, small sitting area and a TV. The kitchen, while small, is mighty! We even managed to add a dishwasher. The living area has a 58 inch TV and bookshelves stocked with plenty of reading material as well as games for a rainy day.

The house itself overlooks a creek and tree filled lot. Sip your morning coffee (or evening wine) on the deck or grill out and in the evening sit around the fire-pit telling ghost stories and making smores.

This house is perfect for a romantic beach getaway, a smaller family vacation or girls weekend!

We are a seven minute walk to town and 12 minute walk to beautiful Mears State Park. We also offer 2 bikes for riding to town or the beach.

Quirks about the house. This house is small 650 square of beautifully designed space. The dining table is a Murphy style and folds up to seat four. The laundry is located at the back of the house with a separate entrance. We have room for two cars to park in the driveway.

Positioned amongst rolling farmland, this Centennial Craftsman Style, family farmhouse is a great getaway conveniently located between Ludington and Pentwarer and offers the peace and serenity you're looking for in a quiet area! Located in Mason County between Pentwater and Ludington this charming and spacious, newly renovated farmhouse is your perfect escape. This home was recently remodeled and special efforts were made to keep the original footprint of the Century-Old Craftsman Style including restoration of the original wood floors and radiators throughout the house. Beginning with the Swedish homesteaders in the late 1800s, six generations have farmed this scenic property. Approximately 100 years as a dairy farm and more recently a crop farm with just a few Angus steers.

This two story farmhouse offers ample space for you and your guests to enjoy. In home comforts include Wi Fi, Smart TVs, two portable air conditioning units, and ceiling fans. The space
Harbor Haven is a charming cottage at the end of a wooded, quiet street, with lake access just across the road to all-sports Bass Lake, perfect for wading into, swimming, boating and fishing.

A great central location to many area attractions, the home is just nine minutes away from Lake Michigan, 10 minutes from the many shops and restaurants of downtown Pentwater and 21 minutes from the popular downtown Ludington area. Silver Lake Dunes are a 23-minute drive away.

This 2-level A-frame home has five bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, Harbor Haven can host a large group. Three bedrooms are on one side of the home with their own full bathroom, and two on the other side with a full bathroom — perfect for two families. The dining table seats six with another four stools situated at the kitchen counter. The home also features a back patio with table and chairs, a backyard campfire pit with many chairs and a large front yard. A lot of space for families to spread out.

The kitchen offers everything you will need to prepare meals.

A Flat screen TV in the living room has Netflix and a DVD player for that occasional rainy night. Wifi is also included.

The space
The house has been in the family since the 1870's and was used primarily by friends and family from the Chicago area. Since we don't get up to Pentwater as much as we would like, the grandkids have talked Grandma into sharing the home so that others may enjoy Pentwater like we have over the years. We are continuing restoration and updates on the home, therefore, it does not have some of the modern-day amenities like a dishwasher or washer & dryer.

Relax and unwind at our newly remodeled cottage at Bass Lake in Pentwater, Michigan. Enjoy your coffee or cocktail on the patio with view of lake and listen to the sound of waves. Albion Cottage is five miles from Silver Lake State Park, eight miles from Pentwater, and fifteen minutes from the head of the Montague-Hart trails. The property has access to the 700-foot shared subdivision association beach, which abuts the public 150-foot Cedar Point Park beach, and is only a short walk or very quick drive away(.35 mile).

The space
Albion Cottage sleeps 7 comfortably, has a fully-equipped kitchen with Keurig, microwave, dishwasher, icemaker and smaller appliances. There are three total bedrooms, 2 full baths and a full laundry. The main level is open and finished nicely. The living area has cathedral ceilings and a glass front leading out to the upper balcony. There is a second deck off the kitchen overlooking the woods in back. A full bath and master bedroom are just off of the living area. The open staircase leads to a foyer overlooking the living area and also leads to 2 large bedrooms and a second full bath with tiled shower and floor.
The garage is impressive and clean with room to play and still have plenty of room to store all your summer or winter toys. Albion Cottage has a small television, DVD player/VCR, stereo, cable TV, Wifi, books, board games, a firepit, and gas grill.
This location offers something for everyone—hunting, shopping, fine dining, swimming and sunbathing, biking, snowmobiling and playtime on the dunes.
Dogs welcome for additional pet fee of $150

Furnished with Wi-Fi, TV, 10 ceiling fans (including one in every bedroom, ample air conditioning (3 window units), large furnished screened-in porch, charcoal Weber grill, beach chairs, outside fire pit, and clothes washer/dryer.
