A beautiful 1910 Victorian Home located on the Interurban Trail, the perfect place for a family or group of friends. We have a large backyard with onsite parking. Guests have access to a fully stocked kitchen, laundry room and large dining area. The Bailey Bike & Bed Inn is tastefully decorated with a mix of antiques and modern amenities. We have a fondness for old movies and bicycles so you may notice a theme. We are located 3 blocks from the Port Washington Marina and downtown area with award winning shops and restaurants. The Interurban Trail is easily accessible from our backyard and runs 37 miles North and South.

Well equipped kitchen for the most discriminating cook. As of June, 2021, the apartment has been updated and freshly remodeled, exposing some of the beautiful brick, adding more unique furniture pieces recommended by my dear friend and owner of Design Xchange in Hartland, WI, Katie Stuckey Guindon. marina, quaint shops, scrumptious restaurants and bars, 4 cozy hometown coffee shops, 2 parks that jut out into the lake and a one-mile breakwater walk out to our very unique pillared lighthouse. For those who love outdoor activities, you won't be disappointed. The Ozaukee Interurban Bike Trail is one block away, Pirate's Hollow Outdoor Water Park is one block, 5 minute walk to two Lake Michigan beaches (the South Beach has a kayak/canoe launch), hiking galore including Sauk Creek Nature Preserve - 5 minute walk, Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve - 8 minutes by car, 379 acre Riveredge Nature Center - 15 minutes by car, and, our personal favorite, Harrington Beach State Park (complete with historic remains of a Lime Quarry Town alongside Lake Michigan and inland quarry lake with waterfalls) is 15 minutes by car.
Many historic cities are within a half hour drive and await your exploration. Cedarburg (15 minutes), Milwaukee (25 minutes) and Sheboygan and Kohler (30 minutes) have a full schedule of events and attractions all year round including Summer Fest, Kohler Design Center, and Kohler Art Center.

Walking is your first best option as you’ll be just 4 blocks from all the action downtown. Uber and Lyft are available as well.

I value your health and mine, therefore I use only non-toxic cleaners. I offer organic coffee (whole bean coffee with a grinder and French Press) and tea. For your added peace of mind and security, we have video surveillance covering the exterior of the premises.

The murphy bed allows guests to fold the bed into the closet when not in use for additional space. The stylish décor turned this into one of our favorite rooms in the unit!

No smoking inside the unit. If there is an obvious smoke smell, a charge of $300 will be passed onto the guest who booked.

The upper unit is also listed as a short term rental. This means there will be guests/tenants upstairs. Some foot noise may be heard from above. My family of 4 lived in the lower unit and it never impacted our sleep or livability!
The driveway is shared with the upper unit guests, but each unit has their own dedicated parking spaces.

- "Property was conveniently located just off of Grand Avenue and close to the main street of shops and restaurants and the beach and marina. Cozy and comfortable with full kitchen. Would recommend and would book again as it had everything that we needed at a low rental price." - "We loved this property. Cute place in a quaint town! The thermostat gave us fits in the beginning but the owner was fast and even left work to fix it. The bed was a tad uncomfortable however it just isn't our type of mattress. We will be spending a ton of time in Wisconsin over the next few years and we plan to stay there again. Thanks for the great place!"

Host was wonderful to work with!" - "Loved the unit and location is good, but a bit noisy from truck traffic. Unit was clean and well furnished and I love that my dog was allowed. One suggestion is to put a shade or curtain on the kitchen window and door window for a bit more privacy, especially at night." - "The apartment had everything you would need for a short term stay. It was great to have access to the coin laundry on the second floor for people traveling. Location is a little noisy from the road noise and train if you are a light sleeper. It was great to have the upstairs and downstairs space. If you are a quiet sleeper, I'd recommend the upstairs space.
