The Bunkhouse rates are derived using a sliding scale, based on the size of the group and the length of the visit. There is a one-time Bunkhouse fee of $400. In addition, charges are per person, per night: 12 guest minimum, first 12 guests are $75/guest/night, additional guests are $65/guest/night. Children 10 and under are $35 each/night. Larger groups and visits of 3+ nights may qualify for discounted rates. Weekend summer visits require a 2-night minimum stay. 1-night stays may be available during the winter months, with an additional $250 fee.

The Bunkhouse is a new and unique facility, specially designed for group gatherings. It is housed inside of a former dairy barn, initially constructed in 1885. The original beam construction is preserved and visible throughout the lodge-style facility. The Bunkhouse offers all of the necessary accommodations for your group, including a full and spacious kitchen, a central great room and a game room. There are three bunkrooms, each with their own bathroom. The main floor of the barn has been restored to host larger group gatherings (100+) in a hall setting called the Lower Corral (separate rental). Additional lower level amenities are associated with the founding company, Pheasants @ Large, LLC, a private hunting preserve. Well equipped kitchen for the most discriminating cook. As of June, 2021, the apartment has been updated and freshly remodeled, exposing some of the beautiful brick, adding more unique furniture pieces recommended by my dear friend and owner of Design Xchange in Hartland, WI, Katie Stuckey Guindon. marina, quaint shops, scrumptious restaurants and bars, 4 cozy hometown coffee shops, 2 parks that jut out into the lake and a one-mile breakwater walk out to our very unique pillared lighthouse. For those who love outdoor activities, you won't be disappointed. The Ozaukee Interurban Bike Trail is one block away, Pirate's Hollow Outdoor Water Park is one block, 5 minute walk to two Lake Michigan beaches (the South Beach has a kayak/canoe launch), hiking galore including Sauk Creek Nature Preserve - 5 minute walk, Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve - 8 minutes by car, 379 acre Riveredge Nature Center - 15 minutes by car, and, our personal favorite, Harrington Beach State Park (complete with historic remains of a Lime Quarry Town alongside Lake Michigan and inland quarry lake with waterfalls) is 15 minutes by car.
Many historic cities are within a half hour drive and await your exploration. Cedarburg (15 minutes), Milwaukee (25 minutes) and Sheboygan and Kohler (30 minutes) have a full schedule of events and attractions all year round including Summer Fest, Kohler Design Center, and Kohler Art Center.

Walking is your first best option as you’ll be just 4 blocks from all the action downtown. Uber and Lyft are available as well.

I value your health and mine, therefore I use only non-toxic cleaners. I offer organic coffee (whole bean coffee with a grinder and French Press) and tea. For your added peace of mind and security, we have video surveillance covering the exterior of the premises.

- The 3rd bedroom is a pass-through bedroom. This means you need to go through bedroom #2 to enter. This bedroom has a full-size Murphy Bed (memory foam mattress, of course!). The murphy bed allows guests to fold the bed into the closet when not in use for additional space. The stylish décor turned this into one of our favorite rooms in the unit!

The upper unit is also listed as a short term rental. This means there will be guests/tenants upstairs. Some foot noise may be heard from above. My family of 4 lived in the lower unit and it never impacted our sleep or livability!
The driveway is shared with the upper unit guests, but each unit has their own dedicated parking spaces.

Child Friendly

Our home is roughly 39 miles (roughly 39 minutes) from Whistling Straits Golf Course-Sheboygan, 27 miles (roughly 35 minutes) to Fiserv Forum-Milwaukee. Within 30 minutes of these exciting events but escape the crowds and packed eateries afterwards!

A 2,750 sq. ft. ranch home, decorated in the a modern farmhouse style, in Saukville, Wisconsin. Main level master suite with shower and bathtub, one bedroom, one full bath, open-concept kitchen/dining/living room, home office, and full size front loader washer/dryer. Dining room leads to outside patio deck with Weber gas grill.

Basement level has one bedroom, large full bath, full wet bar, living room, dining area and extra room. There are several TVs throughout the house including living areas, bar and bedrooms, Direct TV and Wi-Fi Internet access. Central air throughout along with several ceiling fans. House is maintained by professional cleaners.
