- "We had everything we needed to be comfortable but the high cieling and lack of furniture made this house feel very empty. It also made conversation different because of the echo. My parents are older and had difficulty with the variety in levels in the floor and the amount of steps. This was intially advertised as a 3 bedroom but it is only two with plantt of other rooms but no beds. It was close and convenient for what we needed but the cost was more than i think this place was worth. If i had been able to see reviews before renting this place i may have changed my mind."

We are 20 minutes from downtown Milwaukee and 90 minutes from the north side of Chicago.

There is a Costco, Target, Walmart, and many other grocery stores within a 7 minute drive of our home.

We have three kids three and under so we equip our homes with ALL the things you need for babies and toddlers (pack and play, high chair, bowls/plates/cups, and life jackets, but please be aware there is significant amount of water inside and outside of the home that could cause serious consequences to young kids if not supervised, so consider that before booking.

With the custom design of this home there are many uneven and hard surfaces you could land on if you tripped and fell. The pool isn’t your typical standard pool and the surrounding pool deck is small and prone to being slippery when when wet.

This unique home is partially underground and surrounded by a forest and a large pond. Because of its natural setting, you will likely encounter various insects and wildlife. Despite regular pest control efforts, it’s not always possible to keep the indoor areas completely free of spiders, ants, or flies. Feel the simplicity of the 1800's in our 1850 stone farmhouse decorated with colonial American style antiques & furnishings. Areas to share are an authentic tavern room complete with a cage bar and a fully equipped kitchen tucked behind it, a beautiful Library room w fireplace and game table to enjoy some quiet, relaxing moments and a dining room w additional sitting area. A laundry laundry room is available to guests renting for a week or more. There are currently 3 Bed Chambers available with private bathrooms. A courtyard with patio for outdoor dining is in a beautifully gated area to the entrance of the farmhouse. Recently completed is Olde Homestead Cottage located 10' from the entrance to The Inn.
