Reminiscent of Door County or a Norman Rockwell painting, our delightful thriving fishing town of Port Washington is only a 5 minute walk away. You're sure to enjoy the
marina, quaint shops, scrumptious restaurants and bars, 4 cozy hometown coffee shops, 2 parks that jut out into the lake and a one-mile breakwater walk out to our very unique pillared lighthouse. For those who love outdoor activities, you won't be disappointed. The Ozaukee Interurban Bike Trail is one block away, Pirate's Hollow Outdoor Water Park is one block, 5 minute walk to two Lake Michigan beaches (the South Beach has a kayak/canoe launch), hiking galore including Sauk Creek Nature Preserve - 5 minute walk, Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve - 8 minutes by car, 379 acre Riveredge Nature Center - 15 minutes by car, and, our personal favorite, Harrington Beach State Park (complete with historic remains of a Lime Quarry Town alongside Lake Michigan and inland quarry lake with waterfalls) is 15 minutes by car.
Many historic cities are within a half hour drive and await your exploration. Cedarburg (15 minutes), Milwaukee (25 minutes) and Sheboygan and Kohler (30 minutes) have a full schedule of events and attractions all year round including Summer Fest, Kohler Design Center, and Kohler Art Center.

Walking is your first best option as you’ll be just 4 blocks from all the action downtown. Uber and Lyft are available as well.

The murphy bed allows guests to fold the bed into the closet when not in use for additional space. The stylish décor turned this into one of our favorite rooms in the unit!

The upper unit is also listed as a short term rental. This means there will be guests/tenants upstairs. Some foot noise may be heard from above. My family of 4 lived in the lower unit and it never impacted our sleep or livability!
The driveway is shared with the upper unit guests, but each unit has their own dedicated parking spaces.

Bright, clean and freshly renovated, this charming upper-level Carriage House Loft offers a peaceful and comfortable stay. Attached to a historic home, it’s situated in a quaint, quiet neighborhood and has a private entrance. There is a new, comfortable queen bed and a cozy sofa sectional that converts to a queen-size memory foam sleeper.

The open-concept kitchen, island with bar stools, and living area create a welcoming space to relax, enjoy a meal or entertain. We live in a quiet neighborhood on Billy Goat Hill, which overlooks the downtown. The location is very walkable and close to fishing, swimming, boating, biking, shops, pubs, farmers' market, homemade ice cream , and historical sites of interest.
We live downstairs and often will be here if you have any needs or concerns, but are very conscious of your desire for privacy.

The space
Our home was built in 1910 and has the charm and coziness of a Victorian home, but with today's conveniences. A wonderful hide-away for a night, weekend, or longer.
We have several pets and invite you to bring your pet along to enjoy the area with you. We do not charge any extra pet fee, so please clean up after your fur-friends. When gone, please crate your pets or ensure they will not destroy anything out of anxiety. We have extra sheets in the livingroom closet, if you want to put on furniture so pets can curl up.
If needed, we have extra pet supplies and can direct you to a wonderful local pet store 2 blocks away.

Guest access
You will have the privacy of your own apartment but feel free to utilize parking, the yard, lawn games, and outdoor seating, laundry space, clothesline, gas grill, and fire pit (upon request). Please feel free to utilize our WiFi, Netflix, Disney Plus or Amazon Prime channels.

A lower flat in walking distance from downtown Port Washington's restaurants, pubs and summertime live music events. Walk and enjoy Lake Michigan's beaches, pier, and parks. A half block off of the interurban bike and running trail.

The apartment is the lower level of our home in picturesque Port Washington. Quiet neighborhood, close to parks and close to bike path.
There is 1 parking space and a separate entrance in the back of the house. There is a double futon in living area, bedroom has a queen size bed and newly renovated bathroom with a large shower.
We are located 2 miles west of downtown Port which has many quaint shops, restaurants and a marina offering many opportunities for outdoor recreation and relaxation.

The space
Large living room, kitchenette, newly remodeled bathroom/large shower, large bedroom, double futon in living area. Please let us know if your party of 2 will require 2 beds so that we can have the futon made up and ready for you.
There is electric baseboard heating and an electric fireplace for cooler days. There is a window a/c unit in the living room, a ceiling fan in the bedroom and a portable fan for warmer days (we do have central a/c but don't run it on cool days). Feel free to open windows for fresh air if you'd like.

You will have access to the entire lower level with a separate entrance as well as the patio and screen porch.

There is a wood burning firepit (wood provided, lighter and newspaper under kitchen sink) on the patio and a gas firepit in the screen porch which guests may use. You may find us out there enjoying the spaces as well, feel free to join us!

The space
Newly built as a second-story “mother-in-law” suite above our garage, this space has a rustic & cozy feel amid its maritime surroundings. It offers views of Lake Michigan as well as our private vineyard and the historic 1860 light station next door. Enjoy your own home-away-from-home studio apartment with a private entrance. We live in the attached house next door so we’ll be available but definitely not in your space. Street parking is readily available, and it’s a 4 minute walk to the lake/downtown via a public staircase. 30 min drive to Milwaukee, 30 min to Kohler, 1 hr 20 min to Green Bay, 1 hr 40 min to O’Hare.

Other things to note
This space does require a walk up one flight of stairs, so it may not be a great fit for those with limited mobility.

Our house was built in 1900 it has older architectural features. Please look at all the pictures. Private entrance, bathroom, and kitchen with range and refrigerator. Living room has plenty of seating and smart TV. Two block walk to the downtown with 17 restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Only 3 blocks to the marina!

The space
Private off street parking for 2 vehicles , second floor outside private entrance via stairs. Renovated in Fall 2019, absolutely no pets or smoking in the unit. Walking distance to Downtown, Marina and Coal Dock park with bridge to South Beach. North Beach entrance by Lower Lake Park. Ozaukee Interurban Bike Trail close by. Great little town on the shores of Lake Michigan!

Other things to note
We are at the top of a hill. You can walk 2 blocks to downtown, another block to the harbor. From coal dock park you can walk over a bridge to south beach. Or you can drive down to the parking lot and just walk out to the beach. Playground down by the lake, on the upper bluff we have a big all children's playground. If you walk west down our alley is the public swimming pool just down the hill. Some people just leave their car and walk everywhere. I even walk to the harbor, It's a beautiful spot. Bring your sand toys and beach chairs. You can also rent kayaks and bikes downtown. We think there isn't a nicer place to be than Port Washington. Ray and Brenda

The upper unit is also listed as a short term rental. This means there will be guests/tenants upstairs. Some foot traffic may be heard from above. My family of 4 lived in the lower unit and it never impacted our sleep or livability!

180 Pier St is an entirely private apartment with a full kitchen stocked with all the basic necessities, large living room, and private balcony attached to the unit.

Guests also have access to the coin operated washer and dryer located in the shared basement of the building.

Other things to note
Street parking is available, or overnight in the city lot behind the building by permit provided by host.

Main lobby is secured by an automatic locking system between the hours of 9pm-6am. A separate code will be texted to guests at time of check in. The lobby also has security cameras for additional security.

Due to other guests in the building, we ask that noise be kept at a reasonable volume between 10pm-7am, and no pets allowed.

Top bunk bed has a maximum weight limit of 170 pounds.
