* Enjoy beautiful sunsets in a newer, modern, three bedroom cottage located on the spectacular North shores of Lake Poygan in Tustin/Town of Bloomfield, Wisconsin. This quiet 1,800 square foot getaway is not your typical old, dated cottage. It sleeps 8-10 in three bedrooms and a loft and has three baths and all the amenitites required for relaxation without the worries.

- "This property is very nice! We all (there were 8 of us) enjoyed our time there immensely. I do feel that the supplies that should have been readily available were not there, i.e., garbage bags, kleenex, paper towel, dish towels and cloths etc...We were there for 5 days and had to ask for replenishment, which was handled by the property owner right away. That being said, the air conditioning and screen porch were absolute lifesavers. The screen porch is amazing and our family lived out there! The house is very well built and very quiet. We enjoyed our time there and hope to get back some day!"

Every year in early May, the White-bass arrive in Fremont to produce some of the best fishing of the year. People travel from across the country for the White-bass Run. - "My family of 6 (including 4 kids ages 6-10) loved this cabin and location! It was so quiet and there was a lot of yard space for the kids to play. The lake is beautiful and the cabin has a great view. It was a nice quiet lake for our children to tube and learn to ski. The small channel next to the cabin was perfect for playing on the paddle boards. Rhonda was very helpful and accommodating! Our only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer! It was an excellent place to stay for the Oshkosh airshow too."

If we had little kids, the room with the 2 double bunk beds would be perfect, but it was also perfect for my adult sons because the lower beds are full size or queen! - "Loved our birthday trip to Fremont at this cozy, riverfront home. My husband and I had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was there. We did a lot of cooking. Also, there is a Citgo on the Way in, to pick up ice, as there were no ice trays or ice. Easy to pick up on the way in. Also, the bed was so comfortable!! I can't say that about 90% of the places we've stayed. The view from the bed alone every morning, is stunning. Waking up everyday to sunshine and greenery was amazing. Loved all the personal touches. The pictures are exactly what this place looks like. We drank coffee and ate our meals out on the deck, and enjoyed the river and greenery. It was so relaxing. I highly recommend it. We can't wait to come back. John was very responsive, and helped us with whatever we needed. He even recommended the farmers market in Oshkosh on Saturday mornings. So great! It is absolutely picturesque and very relaxing. There is a spiral staircase leading to the master bedroom upstairs. And the bathroom is on the bottom floor. So be prepared, the beautiful spiral staircase is not for weak knees. 😂 It wasn't really much of a problem for us. I do feel like I got a pretty good calf workout. And just a heads up, there is a 'resort' next door, with little log cabins. It has a full bar only open on Saturdays, cash only. Lots of boats stop by. We went and had a blast, however the ATM was down. Luckily we had cash on us. They used to serve food, but not at the moment."

- "Property is easy to get to, minutes to town. Very clean and host was very pleasant to work with. Great neighbors." - "I booked this cute little property for myself, sister and 82 year old mother to spend the weekend for a spring fest event. There was plenty of space for us. 2 bedrooms and an additional room with two twin beds. It was perfect. The host gave us recommendations on a couple little towns to go to for cute shops only 20 minutes away. Waupaca & King. There are 3 bar restaurants within a mile and a half or so. Great options! Nice quiet neighborhood and it was great to be on the river. Super fast communication with the host. I can't say enough about how happy we were. Cell signal was fine for using hot spot for internet. Great little spot!"

Parking – We are limited on our parking, so each cabin is allowed only one parking space in the driveway of the resort. If you will have more than one vehicle you will need to park them along the street (you can park on both sides of the street in front of the resort) or in the parking spots by the school located across the street (when school is not in service). Boat trailers can be parked in the grass area off the street or the Fremont American Legion-VFW offers free trailer parking in the area by the army tank, address is 322 Waupaca St Fremont and there is a sign where to park trailers. If we are not fully booked, we may be able to offer additional parking in the driveway but please ask first.
No-Smoking – ALL OF OUR CABINS ARE NON-SMOKING. If you or your guests smoke inside of a cabin you will be billed for the cost to restore the cabin to 'non-smoking' condition. Costs will include all cleaning supplies and labor involved.

We rented a jetski and never worried once about other guests, messing with it. Hosts were friendly, and warmly welcomed us. So many memories made. We will never forget it! - "Very small cabin; luckily, it was just the two of us, and we only stayed for two nights before heading up north. I would not recommend this for more than two people; it was very cramped. Don't bother trying to use the stove or trying to cook or anything like that; it's just way too cramped. But other than that, it was clean, easy to find and access, located literally right on the river, and just down the street from all the bars and restaurants. If you're looking for a good breakfast before starting your day, I would recommend the Hotel Fremont. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience; the price was fair for what you get."

Clemins Retreat is less than 100 yards from a public boat launch. If you are wanting to keep your boat/WaveRunner at a dock, there would be a $30/day fee at Clemins River Resort (directly across the street on the Wolf River). For dock reservations/availability, please reach out to Clemins River Resort. From the water, you can boat for hours up river to the nearby sand bar/gathering area, and up to New London and beyond. Or boat down the river all the way to Lake Winnebago along the way you hit multiple lakes and bars and restaurant's. There’s plenty to do in the area too -- golfing, hiking, biking and outdoor activities abound. There’s also lots of shopping with antique and gift shops like no other in Wisconsin. After a day on the water, come back and enjoy the relaxing the patio with a beverage by the fire. Clemins Retreat has its own private covered patio with a gas grill, fire place and bar.

Centrally located in Wolf River Country, we are a short drive from the EAA grounds, The Iola Old Car Show, Timber Rattlers Stadium, Lambeau Field and numerous casino’s. Clemins Retreat is also conveniently located walking distance from everything that downtown Fremont has to offer. Food and beverage choices abound within a few minutes walk and other local favorites are a short ride away. Self check-in with Smart Lock is at 3:00 PM on the day you arrive. Self check-out is at 10:00 AM on your departing day.

Cabin on Lake Poygan channel! Direct access to the lake, with two boat lifts and docks for all your water toys. Kayak, stand up paddle board, or just relax by the fire (indoors or out) while the lake life washes over you. All modern furnishings, one king bed, one queen, three bunks and a trundle. Fish from the dock or take the water toys out to the lake. Lake Poygan is over 14000 acres of fun. Winter offers ice fishing, ice skating, and snow mobiling (snow mobile trail accessable by lake).

- "We had an amazing vacation staying at this cabin. Location was just as advertised. Cozy cabin, lots of charm and a kind welcome basket. Beds were great, facilities were comfortable and more than adequate for whatever we needed. The landscaping was beautiful with all the flowers in bloom. We grilled, caught fish, watched movies, and just enjoyed being together in such a special place. Before we got there, we appreciated when the owner always responded quickly to any questions we had. Everything was so clean and well kept. They even provided paddle boards, kayaks, smart TV, DVD's, games and books to enjoy!"
