Lake Iola is located near downtown Iola, WI. The lake is (210) acres of crystal clear water for recreational activities. The lake is technically a mill pond and is particularly well suited for the silent sports such as canoeing, kayaking and paddle boating. The fishing is great and the wildlife is to behold. The lake is the perfect place for a quiet day or evening of fishing or watching the sunset from the seat of your kayak. A short paddle away is downtown Iola offering a choice of dining and entertainment.

The house is light and airy with plenty of windows for cross breezes and sounds of the Northwoods. The house also has central air for the few days a year when it's needed. The original house was built in 1975, it has been modernized and blends vintage interior treatments while keeping that 70’s air about it. The open floor plan offers a cool place to chill with family, friends or your loved one.

The house features (2) bedrooms, an open concept kitchen with modern cabinetry, new appliances, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and new cookware. There's a fab electric orange Preway fire place, vaulted gable ceiling with exposed pine beams and is tastefully furnished in the colors and styles of the day. Also included is a restored vintage console stereo and a collection of 70’s vinyl for your listening pleasure.

Breaking from the 70’s theme is a flat screen television with HDTV channels delivered by antenna and a Blu-Ray DVD player for watching your favorite 70’s shows such as Taxi and the Brady Bunch. The cupboard is stocked with family friendly DVD's, books and board games from the 70’s. Unfortunately, we hate to say it but the internet wasn’t invented in the 70’s so you’ll be forced to hang with friends and family and converse with each other.

Perfect for watching sunsets, avoiding the bugs or staying dry when it’s raining is a nicely sized three season room furnished with a double sofa, a electric Preway fireplace, hanging chair and a game table. Additionally, it wouldn’t be a 70’s house without a funky orange hand chair and an Atari Pong Arcade game.

The deck has ample room for gathering or just kicking back and relaxing. It has a patio table for outdoor dining and a full complement of vintage outdoor chairs. An orange Weber style kettle grill is located on the deck for those of you who feel so inclined to grill out. The deck offers a free and clear view across the bay to an undeveloped shoreline reminiscent of lakes father north.

A campfire ring complete with complimentary firewood is located in the back of the house and has lake views.

Guests have access to a retro (4) person paddle boat or (2) single person kayaks, plus a canoe. Life jackets are available for sizes 30 lbs. to adult. There’s a dock in case you want to tether your own boat or one of the complimentary ones. Also available for your use is a pair of vintage his and hers 70’s Huffy bicycles, perfect for cruising down town for lunch, an ice cream cone or a piece of the best pie around at the Crystal Café. During the summers there's badminton net set up lakeside.

The property is about ½ acre in size, offering views of the lake framed by trees. The property is in a developed neighborhood of generously sized lots. It’s located on a non-through street that’s one block long and is located at the end of the cul-de-sac.

Located in downtown Iola are (3) restaurants, (3) bars, an Antique Store, Pharmacy and a Bakery. Just blocks away is a Sentry Grocery, A Subway and a Dollar Store. Located the other side of downtown is the Historic Village.

Welcome to our 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath Chain O' Lakes vacation rental. We want you to feel as relaxed as we do staying at our waterfront home. With enough beds to sleep 10 people, this is a great location for family vacations, retreats, or reunions (there is room for additional air mattresses). The open concept kitchen and living room connects to a beautiful covered deck. Enjoy the views from the deck, take out the two kayaks for a relaxing paddle, or enjoy a starry night roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Bath and swim towels are NOT provided, please bring your own. Hand towels and kitchen towels will be provided. Board games and ping pong are provided for rainy afternoons. Roku will provide you with many options on the 65 inch television.

Located on the northeast shore of Sunset Lake, you will enjoy the peace of a no-wake lake, yet you have easy access to a fast lake located adjacent to Sunset. With breathtaking views, hard sandy frontage perfect for swimming, and plenty of room for multiple families, you will enjoy the comfort of this well kept home. 2 kayaks, one paddle board, and one Maui Mat are included with rental. Pontoon boat on-site available for rent. 7 night minimum required during summer months (June-August) with Sunday to Sunday rental. Slightly higher rates apply for holiday weeks. 2 night minimum rest of season. Cleaning fee and a security deposit are required.

Fires in the fireplace on cooler days, hours spent on the beautiful screened in porch playing games, dinners made in the well stocked kitchen and comfy beds to rest in! Fun, whimsical lighting throughout the house and a whole house speaker system were nice additions! We had 8 adults and 3 teens and everyone had plenty of room. The twin beds were a bit short and small for our tall teens but they still slept well. The house is close to a neighbor on the right side of the house but thankfully they were quiet & it wasn't an issue. Mandy and Shaun were very responsive and easy to work with! Plenty of Bluegills & Crappies to cast a line for. There is a state fish hatchery 4 miles down the road. Tours of the chain of lakes on the Chief Waupaca. Take a drive thru the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King or spend the day at Strawberry fest in downtown Waupaca. We are located in some of the best deer hunting in the state. Our house has brand new appliances including washer and dryer and WiFi. A canoe and paddle boat are included along with a gas fire pit and a wood fire pit for your relaxation.

We had a coffee shop, restaurants, bars, boutiques and shops, plus the lake, harbor and all sorts of other attractions right out the front or back door. The space was comfortable for our group of four adult family members. The backyard is pretty big, with a nice outdoor table and chairs. The home had more than most VRBOs I have stayed at before, like lots of kitchen supplies and linens. The host was really nice and gave us a couple of group specific recommendations that were lovely! Part of The Elsewhere Collection, our rustic log cabin is a restored 100-year old space sitting on peaceful Miner Lake. With room to sleep up to 4-6 adults, the cabin is ideal for a cozy getaway. The cabin features an equipped kitchen, two TVs, WIFI and a window AC unit in the main bedroom. The bathroom has all of the essentials for washing off a day on the lake. Steps from the cabin is a wooden deck, outdoor furniture & two docks with direct access to the lake.

The grill is located on the deck and grill utensils are located in the kitchen. An extra propane tank is located in the garage. Please let us know if you empty one of the tanks so we can replace the backup after checkout. Please clean the grill after use. A $25 fee will be applied if the cleaning team needs to clean the grill, as this is not part of their routine house cleaning.

Located on spring-fed Otter Lake this property features two private docks and unmatched access to the Chain. Otter is the northern most lake of the Chain and is a no wake refuge from the faster paced lakes. This prime "Old Chain" location is the perfect set-up for a total immersion, lakeside, Chain o Lakes vacation. Your whole stay could be easily spent on the end of one of the docks sunning, socializing, fishing and swimming.

The master bedroom is only 30' from the dock and with a private lakeside entrance if your midnite swim gets chilly you can scoot inside to a warm shower. The Summerhouse is able to accommodate up 9 people with the 3 season room doubling as a bedroom at night.

The home consists of a master bedroom with bathroom, shower, full size bed, draws, closets, TV. A second bedroom has the same amenties but with a queen and shares bathroom with 3 season room when at house capacity. The 3 season can be closed off from the rest of the house and can sleep 5. This room has 25' of windows facing the Lake. A library and piano occupy 1/2 the living room with a reading -TV area the rest. The dinning room has great views of the lake and is open to the full kitchen and a breakfast nook.

When rented by 2 couples the 2nd bedroom becomes a suite with its own private lakeside entrance and bathroom with tub and shower. What could be better?

When a 3rd bedroom is needed the 3 season changes easily to a bedroom and is the preferred sleeping spot for kids. With the windows open they can hear fish jumping, frog croaking and owls asking their usual questions.

At the lakeside campfire pit the children will be able to roast hotdogs and marshmellows providing themselves with nutritious meals while Mom visits nearby boutiques, antique shops and the Clear Water Harbor Bar.Add the pontoon boat and your stay on Otter will be a vacation that will be always remembered and hopefully repeated.

We provide sheets, blankets, towels and the kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to cook. We provide you with a starter pack of essentials to get you started: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, and 1 box of kleenex.

Guest access
You will have access to the check in instructions via the airbnb app.

Additional fees & requirements:

-Guests are required to sign our rental agreement and the booker must upload their valid ID. We also do require a $300 security deposit hold.
-We do offer early check-in and late check-out if available. The fee is $30 for each of those.
-Additional guest fee- $5/night per guest above 2.
