The cabin has an updated bath and a fully equipped kitchen. The rental also provides access to paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards, as available. Bel Air log cabins are found all over northern Michigan, and are named after the town of Bel Air where they originated.

Cabin 4 is referred to as "Up North," and sleeps 7. The cabin is roughly 600 square feet, with an open floor plan. The main sleeping area sleeps 2 on the double bed, the sofa sleeper has a queen pull out that sleeps 2, and the front porch is another "bedroom," with bunk beds and a pull out trundle, sleeping 3 more. The living room has all new furniture, including a sleeper sofa, chairs, and flat screen smart tv, just in case of rain. The cabin has a bath that was just updated with a new stool and vanity, and has a fully equipped kitchen with apartment size appliances. The rental also provides access to paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards, as available. The cabin sits on a couple of wooded acres on the lake, providing waterfront, woods, and access to beaches and the pier.

We are a small, family run operation, and have some limitations due to the fact that we don't have "staff." We're set up for weekly rentals, with check-in and check-out on Fridays. This allows us to stay organized and keep the cabins up to our standard of clean, which we think you'll be very happy with. It also allows us to spend time working on other projects and spending time with our family.

Welcome to our beautiful cabin in the woods- the perfect 'Up North' retreat for families who want beach & nature! You can comfortably sleep multiple families with plenty of privacy & kid friendly setup. The cabin is set in the perfect location, minutes from downtown Pentwater & Mears State Park. It's walking distance to Bass Lake (boat launch), close to Lake MI access points, and nearby Silver Lake & Ludington.Unwind and grill out on our wrap around deck, soak in the hot tub, or have a campfire.

The space
The cabin is 3 floors- a walkout basement (lower floor) with a bedroom, full bathroom (bathtub), main area (with 2 beds), and laundry space. There's a set of stairs taking you to the main floor, which has the master bed, bath, another bedroom with bunk beds, kitchen, main rooms, and walks out to the deck. The upper floor is a loft with a queen bed, twin, and half bath.

Enjoy nature at it's finest by grilling and dining out on our newly updated wrap around composite deck, or soak in our brand new hot tub (2024). Relish in the white pine view while having a campfire outside, or enjoy the wood fireplace inside for those cold winter months. Need to get a little work done? No problem. We have multiple working spaces with desks, and high-speed wifi. The cabin is outfitted with 3 SmartTV's.

We have a pack and play crib that can be setup anywhere, and a small crib mattress that can be used for kiddos.

The cabin is a destination in itself, but is a great location, close to Pentwater, Ludington, Silver Lake and more. If you want the woods and beach, this is your place.

Guest access
You can walk to the Bass Lake boat launch, and are about a 5 min drive to several lake michigan beach areas. You're very close to US 31 highway, but in a secluded area.

Kid friendly: We have a pack n play crib, rocking chair, baby bathtub, high chair and booster chair available for use. House has some kid proofing with baby gates, kitchen safety latches and outlet covers available. There are kids toys, puzzles and books.

Kitchen: fully stocked with coffee maker, dishwasher, crockpot, griddle, wok, and dishes to feed 8-12 people.

Linens: Bath towels and sheets/bedding provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Pet Policy: Pets are allowed with a $30 fee per pet. No more than 2 dogs during a stay. Please disclose that you'll be bringing a pet before booking, and leave the payment in the cabin upon departure. We allow the pets on the lower basement walkout level, but ask you keep them out of the main 'upper' level & loft, and keep the stair gate shut. We also ask you pick up their waste and not leave them unattended outside on the property.

ENJOY our log cabin retreat on 8 acres in Pentwater! This custom 3 bed/2 bath log home was built in 2019. Home offers a list of amenities such as custom appliances, granite countertops, lots of new furniture, flat screen TVs, grill and a huge wrap around porch. 150+ Mbps High speed internet and Verizon cell phone booster. We are only about 20 minutes away from Silver Lake! Recently added more finished basement space w/ mini basketball, bags set, and air hockey table for entertainment.

The space
This custom log home was just built in 2019 and sits on 8 acres just a few miles east of Pentwater. We are also only about 20 minutes away from Silver Lake sand dunes for another place to enjoy. The property is very peaceful on its own 8 acres, however also resides in a small subdivision to feel safe with a neighborhood watch program in place. The exterior of the home has a large covered porch to enjoy all 4 seasons in Michigan overlooking the large stamped concrete pad for the fire pit and grass for all the enjoy. High speed internet, streaming TV and Verizon cell phone booster.
