The cabin comprises two cozy bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. The master bedroom is equipped with a california king-size bed as well as with a small workspace for those that require it. The beautiful forest murals will make you feel as if you can enjoy the serenity of nature while relaxing in the cozy cabin environment.

The spare bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed including a queen-size mattress on the bottom and a full-size mattress on top and can accommodate up to 3 guests.

There is one full size bathroom that is stocked with all of the essentials you need for the duration of your stay. The bathroom includes a stand-up shower, while on the small side, that has been recently renovated. This space also includes a washer and dryer with basic essentials provided.

Guest Access
Guests staying at this cozy cabin have exclusive access to multiple amenities. Whether you’re taking time to fish off the dock, go for a peaceful kayak ride, or roast some marshmallows by the fire, be sure to plan some time to enjoy the relaxing nature the home has to offer. You also have full access to a TV in the main living space that is equipped with a Roku streaming device that will allow you to log into your preferred streaming applications. Be sure to bring your login info! Should you need to finish some work before enjoying some R&R, there is a small workspace provided in the master bedroom. This is a dog-friendly home. While we fully believe that pups are just as much a family member as anyone else, we request that you do not leave the pup home alone while you are out unless properly kenneled. Also, out of respect for all future guests, please ensure to pick up all pet refuse. Waste bags are provided in the bin next to the back door.

Tichigan Lake, spanning a vast 1100 acres, is a full recreation lake offering boating, swimming, fishing, and kayaking opportunities. Boats can be docked at the property, but due to a culvert, only pontoons under 8.5 feet wide and 18 inches tall and fishing boats are suitable. Larger ski boats are not recommended.

There is enough parking for 4 separate vehicles. Should you need to trailer your boat, the driveway has sufficient room.

Other items to note
- Please be aware that there are two Ring cameras on the property: one at the entrance and one at the front of the property, ensuring your safety and security. Both cameras use both video and voice recording.
- Please note that the stand up shower is on the smaller side.
- Boats can be docked at the property, but due to a culvert, only pontoons under 8.5 feet wide and 18 inches tall and fishing boats are suitable. Larger ski boats are not recommended.
- Take note of the exposed natural gas heater in the colder months, which can be hot to the touch. Exercise caution around it to ensure your safety.

- Speaking of furry friends, please try your best to keep them off of all furniture. Having 2 pups of our own, we understand a good cuddle sesh is always great, but we just ask you refrain from the furniture and beds. An additional charge will be applied should we observe differently.

Master bedroom: queen size bed and attached upstairs patio. The second bedroom has queen bunk beds and a full. The third bedroom has queen bunk beds and a twin. Although the bedrooms are smaller, new beds, mattresses, and bedding ensure a cozy and relaxing night’s sleep.

The Lake: Big Cedar Lake is a fully recreational lake. 1.45 miles and reaches a maximum depth of 105 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a private boat landing. Known for its amazing beauty and great fishing, guests of all ages will enjoy reeling in Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. For those who enjoy going out on the lake and getting into the water, Big Cedar Lake is home to one of the most popular sand bars in the Midwest.

The property offers 100 feet of frontage, a pier, swimming in the lake, and family fun activities as well as nearby access to miles of biking and walking trails.

You will love the warm and cozy feel of our newly remodeled and sparkling clean lake house which incorporates shiplap and wood elements throughout. The adorable main living space features homey, traditional furnishings, and an open layout makes it easy to get comfortable with friends and family while you enjoy spectacular views of the lake.

There are plenty of your favorite classic board games, puzzles, and playing cards for some old school, unplugged fun as well. You will also find a large wall-mounted TV in the living room which includes Spectrum Cable and an interactive smart tv to sign into your favorite apps. We also offer FREE Wi-Fi to all of our guests.

When you enter the kitchen, you’ll be greeted by a warm ambient glow from our accent lighting. You will find it well stocked with all of the pots, pans, glassware, and serving utensils needed during your stay. In addition to the standard appliances, we also offer a blender, microwave, and Keurig for all of your caffeine needs. Speaking of coffee, there is nothing quite like watching the sunrise over the lake while you enjoy your hot cup of java on the deck.

For dinner, be sure to join us at Timmer's Resort / Restaurant, just up the lawn from the cottage. Serving the best cocktails and food on the lake, you can sit down to dine in the dining room or just join us in the bar. In the summer, the patio overlooking the lake is a perfect way to enjoy a summer meal, and Sunday brunch is always a hit.

To ensure a comfortable stay for all of our guests, we have installed new HVAC units for hot summer days and cold winter nights. We also have a washer and dryer in the mud room off the kitchen.

There is plenty of room in the spacious yard for outdoor games, and we provide 2 gas grills for outdoor cooking.

Finally, a vacation on the lake would not be complete without a fire pit under the stars. You’ll have ample room around the fire to enjoy incredible lake views, share stories with friends and family, tell spooky campfire stories, listen to some tunes, and of course cook up some classic and gooey s'mores. Supplies for s'mores are in the sunroom close to the doorway to the deck.

In the winter, Friess Lake is a well-loved ice fishing destination known for 40 inch pike. There is no place like it so close to the city, yet so private and peaceful. Leave work and enjoy a cold beverage by 5:30pm on a week night.

Just across the street is 1300 acres of Kettle Moraine State Forest/Lulu Lake Preserve, offering miles of hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, and hunting. It has an up north feel, yet is close to Alpine Valley, restaurants, wineries, and specialty breweries. 6 Kayaks included. There are 76 steps to the cabin, but it is worth the climb.

Come hang out with the family or some friends on this full Recreation lake. Here you have a 2 bedroom with (6 beds)/ 2 full bathroom house with a large backyard and an amazing 70 foot of Beautiful lake Frontage. Sit by the fire to roast some marshmallows after soaking in the sun playing yard games and enjoying all the lake has to offer. You can take the kayaks out for a spin around the lake. Good fishing of the pier for Pan fish,Largemouth Bass, Pike, and Walleye

The space
You walk in upstairs to a quaint Kitchen with all your basic essential amenities. It has a table for four. There is a bedroom attached to the kitchen that has a Queen bed. A full bath with shower over tub. The living room has a great view out over the lake lots of natural light and comfortable couches to watch all your favorite shows. Attached to the living room is a three season porch with comfortable seating, a great place to watch the sunset and curl up with a book.

Downstairs opens to a fully remodeled studio style Bunk house, It has a Twin over Queen and a Full over Queen with twin trundle for extra sleeping space. It is a bright space with a beachy boho chic feel. There is a wet bar equip with a sink and mini Fridge for snacks and entertainment. There is a full bath with a stand up shower. It has Two comfy chairs to relax. It also is equip with a small office space, Desk top with light and chair, so you can do your work while listening to the sounds of the lake.

When you walk to other side of the basement there is a fully renovated space where there is a full Couch set to hang with friends/family and watch some Sports games. This room has a Pub table to pull out your favorite board game or a game of cards. This room has bar style seating along wall where you can play on our Giant Sized Scrabble game while enjoying a drink and some lunch to get out of the sun. This space also has dart board to challenge a friend and play a game.

When you step outside there is a patio set to have your afternoon dinner after cooking on the grill. The yard is large and a great space for throwing around a football or playing some yard games. There is a small sandy area for the kids to play by the lake front, a bonfire pit, Five Kayaks, a paddle board, pier for fishing, and 70 foot of private beautiful lake frontage to enjoy during your stay.
