Stay in an 1860s original log cabin, on our 140-year family farmstead.
The cabin in rustic, but with full amenities (like electricity, running water, indoor bathroom, microwave, frig). Perfect for 1-2 couples or 5 close friends.
Snooze on the queen size or single trundle bed up in the loft, with its private balcony. Enjoy the evening breezes blowing through or use the ceiling fan or air conditioner on those warm nights.
The Main floor sitting area has a kitchenette and table, plus a futon. Choose either the morning or evening porch for listening to birds and watching cows while sipping something fun. Find the moon and stars with our telescope (dark skies here!).
The bathroom is well stocked with towels and amenities. Even the Amish think it's unique (see the pictures).
Our farm offers serenity and an occasional veggie from the garden. Asparagus, raspberries and grapes to savor, cows just over the fence, bonfire pit, charcoal grill.
You can ride from the Farm to one of Elroy's 3 bike trails. Catch the Omaha Trail from our country road and make a 10 mile loop, or connect with the others near Elroy (4 easy miles to reach them - 20 minutes or less).
Sorry, no pets (they scare the cows).
And no internet but smart phones do work.

Other things to note
PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION FULLY AND COMPLETELY BEFORE BOOKING....

The cabin sleeps 8. There is a master bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed. In the open loft, there are two full beds at either side, with a two-person sleeper sofa between them. Please be advised, the only way to access loft is a narrow staircase. If this could potentially be an issue for older adult guests, consider bringing an additional blow-up mattress for the living room (blow up mattress is available upon request.) Living room includes a main-level sleeper sofa. There is a larger pantry area where we keep essential items and kitchen necessities, on the top shelf there are two kid’s cots and a pack-and-play. The pantry is large enough to provide a private sleeping space for kids on the cots or an infant in a pack-in-play.
There is only one bathroom, but it is large. A washer/dryer combo machine can be found in the back of the bathroom storage area. Hair dryer is located under the sink.

The open concept cabin allows for optimal conversation between those using the kitchen and living room. Please feel free to move the furniture to accommodate your needs, but please move it back before the end of your stay. The dining room table seats 4. The indoor fireplace is functional, please feel free to build a fire and roast smores (roasting sticks available in pantry.)

There is a Smart TV in the master bedroom and living room and a basic TV that be hooked up to the DVD player (provided) in the loft.

We are working hard to keep outside friends outdoors. No food in the loft area. When eating outdoors, please pick up all messes so mice aren’t invited to the space.
An alarm clock, baby sound machine, wifi enabled baby monitors, and DVD player can be found in the dresser in the loft.
Towels, hand towels, and wash rags for your stay are located in the bathroom, there are also spare sheets/blankets in the pantry. Please do not use indoor blankets, pillows, or towels outdoors.

Outdoor space: Please feel free to have a campfire while staying, there is an abundance of dry wood around the property. Please do not cut down trees. There is log seating around the firepit, or outdoor chairs are located under the front deck or in the storage box near the firewood stack.

Please no fireworks on the property.

There is a wrap-around porch great for enjoying the evergreen trees and sounds of the forest. There are two stairwells that access this space and a set of French doors from the living room. Do not bring the grill onto this space. Grilling should be done where the grill is located at the side of the cabin.

Seating is available outside by the firepit. There is a picnic table near the firepit (a tablecloth for this can be found in the pantry.)
There is an outdoor hose hook up and hose located in the back corner of the cabin, please make sure the water is shut off before the end of your stay.

While You’re Staying
Please feel free to explore the ten acres. There are not cut trails but the deer and wildlife keep it walkable. The property is marked on the West property line by green stakes (it runs along the edge of the driveway.) The North property line is the bottom of the back side of the ridge, you can go over the hill and down the other side - it is marked by orange flagged stakes (if you reach the road, you’ve gone way too far.) The East property line has green stakes made visible at the end of the mowed path by an orange Home Depot bucket. The South property line is the road.
• We would love to see pictures or accounts of the wildlife seen on the property. Deer and Turkey are abundant along with Sandhill Cranes and porcupines seen along the main road. Coyotes, tree frogs, spring peepers, Least Bittern’s, Eastern Whip-or-Wills and an assortment of Owls can be heard. Adams County is noted on the DNR website as a common place to see bear.

There are board games, cards, children’s books, coloring books, a constellation book, nature guides and a few toys found in a wooden bin in the loft.

Hunting- Deer & Turkey- In-Season Hunting allowed with proof of purchased tags. Please make sure you clean animals properly outdoors and dispose of all remnants in garbage bags (not in the woods.) We do not allow any trapping on the property. Field bags must be taken with you when you leave.

When your stay is over, please do not leave any perishable food in the cabinets, on the counter, in the pantry or in the refrigerator. All food brought in must be taken with you in order to keep pests at bay.

Garbage: When you arrive, you will notice the garbage cans near the street entrance. Please feel free to pull them to the house during your stay. When you go to leave, you must pull the garbage cans to the street for collection (on Fridays). During or After your stay. do not leave bags of trash on the property, on the deck, or outside the garbage receptacle. If, when you go to leave, your trash does not fit in the garbage cans due to excess garbage, please take it with you. Do your best to recycle. We do provide a recycling bin.
Important reminders

1. Although this cabin is an oasis in the woods and feels like a 5-star stay with all the amenities: please be reminded that you are in a wooden cabin in the woods. There may be additional guests from outdoors that choose to join you, especially if food is left unattended and out for long periods of time.

ORKIN comes every few weeks to spray the outlying areas of the cabin for ticks/fleas/mosquitoes etc. They also check outer and inner areas of the cabin for any evidence of uninvited guests entering the premises.

2. Please do not climb on rockscapes on the back of the property. They are slippery when wet and are never a sure footing. If you chose to explore the 10-acre property, there is a break in the rocks behind the cabin that will allow you to explore the back slope.

3. In order to access the cabin loft, you must be willing and able to climb a spiral staircase. Please assist your other guests, especially older adults and small children. Would not recommend for those visually impaired.

4. Please do not take indoor furniture outside.

5. No smoking inside or near the open windows of the cabin.

6. House -trained dogs are allowed - must be at least (1) year old (cats and other wildlife are not.) There is a two-dog maximum. Please make sure you clean up after your dog(s), there are extra bags for dog waste in the pantry. There is a PET FEE of $50. PETS CAN NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE Cabin-unless caged. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY DAMAGE FOUND. Please note this fee includes therapy animals due to the additional cleaning procedures performed to account for future guest who may suffer from allergies. It is essential when bringing a pet that we remind you pets cannot be left to roam the cabin unattended . Please bring a kennel (this is required) for when you leave the property without your dog. We are having issues with dogs chewing and scratching our wooden cabin and furniture. These items are costly to replace and or fix. Make sure the kennel is visible to the cameras at check-in. If you are not willing to kennel your dog(s), do not book this listing.

7. 2 NIGHT MINIMUM - 3 nights for In-Season - Memorial Day through Labor Day. In addition to some other off-season Holidays.

We are 1.8mi from downtown Wisconsin Dells. Our property has 4 cabins, perfect for couples and friends to come to the same place and have their own accommodations, a Gathering House (Converted Tavern) social area, that is set up as an intimate and cozy atmosphere (think speakeasy), a 24x24 covered deck and 24x10 patio area. Follow the trail down the hill towards the river and you'll find 225ft of raised walkway through a natural Sandstone canyon that arrives at our private 80ft dock on the riverfront. You'll find excellent walleye, muskie and sturgeon fishing as well as carp and catfish sheep's head and a bounty of other stuff to catch along with scenery that will make you fall in love...
The views from the dock are the crown jewel of the property.

- "The location of the cabin was perfect. It was close to the Dells for activities, but quiet and remote. The cabin was updated and nicely decorated with all the amenities necessary. Appreciated the coffee and snacks! While we enjoyed relaxing in the cabin, the walk down to the river was our favorite part. We enjoyed sitting down on the dock and enjoyed the view both in the morning and late afternoon. (The lavender latte from the Gathering House made our morning on the dock even better!!😊) The Gathering House available to guests was equally as nice as the cabins. Very cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting in the house while we waited for the rain to pass and then we sat out by the bonfire. It was all ready to go for us and there was plenty of firewood to keep it going for a couple of hours. The hosts, Tanya and Cole were welcoming and did everything to make our stay comfortable. They have worked hard to make the Sandstone Rustic Retreat a beautiful home away from home! Look forward to visiting again in the future."

Our newly constructed Raccoon Cabin is one of 5 cabins at OTR, all situated in a large, private cul-de-sac with our namesake Allis Chalmers tractor to welcome you to the Retreat. This cabin features bright, beautiful spaces and functional amenities. Raccoon is situated to give you the loveliest view of the 40 acres old growth forest and the Wisconsin River. Relax with a cup of coffee or tea when you open the sliding glass doors and walk out to your private patio. There’s Adirondack chair seating, a fire pit, firewood and a gas grill. You’ll love the gorgeous sunrises, and sunsets! (We know we’re in the woods, so we have pest control and mosquito services for the cabin.)

THE DOME EXPERIENCE
Staying in a dome immersed in nature is an experience like no other. As you step inside the dome, you are immediately greeted with the feeling of warmth and comfort as you look out to the breathtaking views of nature.

The dome itself is cozy and inviting, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. A comfortable bed, nightstands, a seating area, small refrigerator, coffee maker and a "Dome-a-Loo"(portable toilet for any nighttime emergencies) are all thoughtfully arranged within the dome's circular walls. This dome is set on a wooden platform and just outside your door you have a private fire pit, small charcoal grill and chairs to enjoy a warm fire and relax with a beverage. Your full size bathroom is just a short walk up the pathway.

As night falls, the dome takes on a magical quality. The sun casts a warm, golden glow over the landscape, creating a sense of calm and tranquility. The starry sky is visible through the dome's clear panels, and the peaceful sounds of nature continue to lull you into a deep sleep.

We are a waterfront property, but because we have 6 acres and set back regulations our accommodations are just a short walk to the river with our private dock.

***The parking for your dome is about 300 feet from the dome, so it is a short walk with your bags. We do have wagons to help transport any heavy items.

-Kayak Rentals: Leave right from our dock! $40/4 hrs or $50 for the day. We have inflatable Bote kayaks that are very stable and comfortable to paddle in. There are a number of amazing rock formations and breathtaking scenery right up river from our private dock. If you are looking to hang out on a sandbar or small beach there are plenty of those to paddle to not far from our property. Pack a lunch and some cold beverages and enjoy your day!

The Gathering House beckons you from 7:30am to 11:00pm, inviting you to indulge in a delightful cup of coffee, latte, espresso, cappuccino, or a soothing hot tea. Just steps away, our covered patio and grilling station await, accompanied by a spacious communal fire pit area under the starlit sky.

Embark on a leisurely stroll down the property to discover a wooden walkway leading to the dock and the picturesque Wisconsin River. Sip your morning coffee by the water's edge or try your hand at fishing during the day.

**During June-August, our dock bar welcomes river traffic on Saturdays (2pm-6ish) and Sundays (12pm-5ish). In the winter months (January-April), the Gathering House transforms into a pop-up Speakeasy from 7pm to 11pm a couple times a month. Fear not, our valued guests are always welcome, and you can even request to join the reservation list for our exclusive Speakeasy nights. Your unforgettable getaway awaits at our charming haven!

There are two full private bathrooms on the upper part of the property that you may use during your stay. A "Dome-a-Loo" will be provided for your convenience for any unexpected night time bathroom breaks if you do not want to walk the pathway up to the main bathroom.

We do provide you with a wagon to help transport your belongings down to your dome location. It is a short walk to the lower part of the property and vehicles are not allowed past the main parking lot area.

We do have the Gathering House on the top half of the property which you are welcome to use during your stay. You can use the coffee bar, play some games, hang out on the covered patio, grill some some dinner or just relax.

Built on a hill, this treehouse experience allows you to enter without stairs on the front side and dance with the squirrels on the back deck. Whether this becomes your annual summer home away from home or a once in a lifetime experience, you will fall in love with property and it`s natural surroundings.

The luxury begins when you open the front door and are greeted with a tastefully appointed, open concept, family room and kitchen that has everything you need to feel as though you are being treated to something special during your Wisconsin Dells vacation.

The family room has seating for 5, while the kitchen has a breakfast bar with seating for 4 more. We provide an LG smart TV so you do not need to miss out on your home entertainment. We do have a YouTube TV subscription for local stations and much more.

The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals. We have all of the basics including pots pans, measuring tools, and utensils. As an added benefit, room service is available from the on-site restaurant - Dawn Manor.

This is a treehouse after all, so we need you to understand the views! There is beautiful natural scenery from every room, but the real special spot is the back deck. The back deck is cantilevered 20 feet over breathtaking views of the natural ravines below. Our guests will enjoy this excellent opportunity to observe nature up close. You will enjoy soaking in our 4-person hot tub and relaxing by our fire table on a cool evening.

Master Bedroom - This bedroom is located up a stairwell that wraps around a tree trunk. It has an LG smart TV, a king bed, and an adjacent full bathroom. We provide luxurious bedding to make your stay extra comfortable.

Staying in a dome amidst nature is a unique experience. THE DOME EXPERIENCE
Staying in a dome immersed in nature is an experience like no other. As you step inside the dome, you are immediately greeted with the feeling of warmth and comfort as you look out to the breathtaking views of the sandstone cliffside and the flowing river.

The dome itself is cozy and inviting, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. A comfortable bed, nightstands, a seating area and a "Dome-a-Loo" (a portable toilet for any midnight emergencies) are all thoughtfully arranged within the dome's circular walls. The dome is elevated on a wooden platform and just outside your door you have a private fire pit and chairs to enjoy a warm fire and relax with a beverage.

As night falls, the dome takes on a magical quality. The sun casts a warm, golden glow over the landscape, creating a sense of calm and tranquility. The starry sky is visible through the dome's clear panels, and the peaceful sounds of nature continue to lull you into a deep sleep.

***This dome is located the furthest from the main building (600 feet). Guest vehicles can be parked in the main lot by the Gathering House. Wagons are available to help transport your belongings down to your dome.

***UPDATE: We are now fully hooked up to electricity so no more worrying about the generator.

*Dome 4 is nestled furthest down on the property, this dome sits in our least-lit area to preserve the beauty of the night sky. It’s intentionally darker for an incredible view of the stars.

If you prefer a brighter setting with more pathway lighting, we recommend choosing one of our other three domes located a little closer up on the property.

OUR PROPERTY

Our property is comprised of 6ac of land on the Wisconsin River...we have a cornfield and a private hiking trail for our guests to the North, a seasonal cabin to our South the river to the East and a road and natural area to the West. We are 1.8mi from downtown Wisconsin Dells.

Our property also has 4 cabins, perfect for couples and friends to come to the same place and have their own accommodations, a Gathering House (Converted Tavern) social area, that is set up as an intimate and cozy atmosphere (think speakeasy), a 24x24 covered deck and 24x10 patio area. Follow the trail down the hill towards the river and you'll find 225ft of raised walkway through a natural Sandstone canyon that arrives at our private 80ft dock on the riverfront. You'll find excellent walleye, muskie and sturgeon fishing as well as carp, catfish, sheep's head and a bounty of other stuff to catch along with scenery that will make you fall in love...
The views from the dock are the crown jewel of the property.

We offer a larger central grilling location by the Gathering House. We have a communal fire pit in the space beyond the covered deck and plenty of wood to burn on site. (you also have a small private charcoal grill and fire pit outside your dome)

Our goal is to host couples, small groups of friends, family or coworkers and provide a space to disconnect from technology, connect with each other, share some unique experiences and make amazing memories you and your loved one/s, you're closest friends or coworkers will look back on for years to come. If you are looking to hang out on a sandbar or small beach there are plenty of those to paddle to not far from our property. Pack a lunch and some cold beverages and enjoy your day!

There are two full private bathrooms on the upper part of the property that you may use during your stay. A "Dome-a-Loo" is provided in your dome for your convenience, for any unexpected night time bathroom breaks if you do not want to walk the pathway up to the main bathroom.

We ask that you stay in the designated area on your dome platform for your safety. There are only natural barriers and we want to keep everyone safe as your platform is near the edge of the cliff side looking down to the river.

We do have the Gathering House on the top half of the property which you are welcome to use during your stay. You can use the coffee bar, play some games, relax by the fireplace, hang out on the covered patio, grill some some dinner or just relax.

This special place is located in the middle of Yuba, Wisconsin's smallest incorporated village. A former dent-and-bent grocery store from the 1980s, Oscar's Cabin is being restored as a living space. The layout is open, with a full kitchen, living/dining space, and two beds. The bathroom and utility room are separate rooms from the main space. Restoration work (which will be paused during your visit) continues on the outside. We'll post new photos as progress is made!

The cabin sleeps 8. There is a master bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed. In the open loft, there are two full beds at either side, with a two-person sleeper sofa between them. Please be advised, the only way to access loft is a narrow staircase. If this could potentially be an issue for older adult guests, consider bringing an additional blow-up mattress for the living room (blow up mattress is available upon request.) Living room includes a main-level sleeper sofa. There is a larger pantry area where we keep essential items and kitchen necessities, on the top shelf there are two kid’s cots and a pack-and-play. The pantry is large enough to provide a private sleeping space for kids on the cots or an infant in a pack-in-play.
There is only one bathroom, but it is large. A washer/dryer combo machine can be found in the back of the bathroom storage area. Hair dryer is located under the sink.

The open concept cabin allows for optimal conversation between those using the kitchen and living room. Please feel free to move the furniture to accommodate your needs, but please move it back before the end of your stay. The dining room table seats 4. The indoor fireplace is functional, please feel free to build a fire and roast smores (roasting sticks available in pantry.)

There is a Smart TV in the master bedroom and living room and a basic TV that be hooked up to the DVD player (provided) in the loft.

We are working hard to keep outside friends outdoors. No food in the loft area. When eating outdoors, please pick up all messes so mice aren’t invited to the space.
An alarm clock, baby sound machine, wifi enabled baby monitors, and DVD player can be found in the dresser in the loft.
Towels, hand towels, and wash rags for your stay are located in the bathroom, there are also spare sheets/blankets in the pantry. Please do not use indoor blankets, pillows, or towels outdoors.

Outdoor space: Please feel free to have a campfire while staying, there is an abundance of dry wood around the property. Please do not cut down trees. There is log seating around the firepit, or outdoor chairs are located under the front deck or in the storage box near the firewood stack.

Please no fireworks on the property.

There is a wrap-around porch great for enjoying the evergreen trees and sounds of the forest. There are two stairwells that access this space and a set of French doors from the living room. Do not bring the grill onto this space. Grilling should be done where the grill is located at the side of the cabin. We ask that all guests clean grill after use (it is the responsibility of guests, please be courteous of guests coming after you.)

Seating is available outside by the firepit. There is a picnic table near the firepit (a tablecloth for this can be found in the pantry.)
There is an outdoor hose hook up and hose located in the back corner of the cabin, please make sure the water is shut off before the end of your stay.

While You’re Staying
Please feel free to explore the ten acres. There are not cut trails but the deer and wildlife keep it walkable. The property is marked on the West property line by green stakes (it runs along the edge of the driveway.) The North property line is the bottom of the back side of the ridge, you can go over the hill and down the other side - it is marked by orange flagged stakes (if you reach the road, you’ve gone way too far.) The East property line has green stakes made visible at the end of the mowed path by an orange Home Depot bucket. The South property line is the road.
• We would love to see pictures or accounts of the wildlife seen on the property. Deer and Turkey are abundant along with Sandhill Cranes and porcupines seen along the main road. Coyotes, tree frogs, spring peepers, Least Bittern’s, Eastern Whip-or-Wills and an assortment of Owls can be heard. Adams County is noted on the DNR website as a common place to see bear.

There are board games, cards, children’s books, coloring books, a constellation book, nature guides and a few toys found in a wooden bin in the loft.

Hunting- Deer & Turkey- In-Season Hunting allowed with proof of purchased tags. Please make sure you clean animals properly outdoors and dispose of all remnants in garbage bags (not in the woods.) We do not allow any trapping on the property. Field bags must be taken with you when you leave.

When your stay is over, please do not leave any perishable food in the cabinets, on the counter, in the pantry or in the refrigerator. All food brought in must be taken with you in order to keep pests at bay.

Please be advised that we do use air fresheners in the space.

Garbage: When you arrive, you will notice the garbage cans near the street entrance. Please feel free to pull them to the house during your stay. When you go to leave, you must pull the garbage cans to the street for collection (on Fridays). During or After your stay. do not leave bags of trash on the property, on the deck, or outside the garbage receptacle. If, when you go to leave, your trash does not fit in the garbage cans due to excess garbage, please take it with you. Do your best to recycle. We do provide a recycling bin outside, paper bags can be found under the sink.

Important reminders

1. Although this cabin is an oasis in the woods and feels like a 5-star stay with all the amenities: please be reminded that you are in a wooden cabin in the woods. There may be additional guests from outdoors that choose to join you, especially if food is left unattended and out for long periods of time.

ORKIN comes every few weeks to spray the outlying areas of the cabin for ticks/fleas/mosquitoes etc. They also check outer and inner areas of the cabin for any evidence of uninvited guests entering the premises.

2. Please do not climb on rockscapes on the back of the property. They are slippery when wet and are never a sure footing. If you chose to explore the 10-acre property, there is a break in the rocks behind the cabin that will allow you to explore the back slope.

3. In order to access the cabin loft, you must be willing and able to climb a spiral staircase. Please assist your other guests, especially older adults and small children. Would not recommend for those visually impaired.

4. Please do not take indoor furniture outside.

5. No smoking inside or near the open windows of the cabin.

6. House -trained dogs are allowed - must be at least (1) year old (cats and other wildlife are not.) There is a two-dog maximum. Please make sure you clean up after your dog(s), there are extra bags for dog waste in the pantry. There is a PET FEE of $50. PETS CAN NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE Cabin-unless caged. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY DAMAGE FOUND. Please note this fee includes therapy animals due to the additional cleaning procedures performed to account for future guest who may suffer from allergies.
It is essential when bringing a pet that we remind you pets cannot be left to roam the cabin unattended . Please bring a kennel for when you leave the property without your dog.We are having issues with dogs chewing and scratching our wooden cabin and furniture. These items are costly to replace and or fix. .

7. 2 NIGHT MINIMUM - 3 nights for In-Season - Memorial Day through Labor Day. In addition to some other off-season Holidays.

Our home is a true log cabin, furnished and stocked with everything you should need to have a comfortable, fun, and relaxing stay. Private wooded setting with a beautiful well maintained trail looping around our 9 acre property.

Interior features a spacious main level living area, an upstairs / loft bedroom with one queen bed, and a main level bedroom with twin bunk beds + additional twin roll out. Nice sized dining table, and living room with two couches, gorgeous nature views, electric fireplace, TV (no cable), DVDs, and DVD player.

Our cabin is deep cleaned regularly, and we provide clean sheets, comforters, pillows, a fire ring with cooking grate, firewood, and a Weber gas grill.

We have a nice selection of board games, and lots of info/ pamphlets of things to do in the area.

One indoor bathroom with a shower/ bath tub combo with good water pressure, clean towels, shampoo, soap, and conditioner.

Our recently updated kitchen has a gas stove with oven, refrigerator, dishes, utensils, pots & pans, coffee maker, filters, coffee, tea, spices, toaster, Berkey water filter, and more. Delicious beautiful tap water pumped from our private well.

The surrounding area is rural, and the nearest grocery store is a 15 minute drive. Well behaved dogs are welcome with prior approval and pet fee.

The entire cabin and 9 acres with trail through the woods, basketball hoop, and outdoor picnic area are exclusively yours during your stay. It's quite secluded and private. We will not be at the cabin during your stay, but will be available anytime to help with questions or concerns.

-Cell service is okay. Cabin has a telephone landline if needed.

-After heavy snowfall, the local roads and our driveway are plowed. Four-wheel drive should not be necessary.

-During winter, you will likely be responsible for turning the water system on & off upon arrival & departure, detailed instructions will be provided.

The space
Our property is comprised of 6 acres of land on the Wisconsin River...we have a cornfield to the North, a seasonal cabin to our South the river to the East and a road and natural area to the West. We are 1.8 mi from downtown Wisconsin Dells. Our property has 4 cabins, perfect for couples and friends to come to the same place and have their own accommodations, 4 Glamping Domes, a Gathering House (Converted Tavern) social area, that is set up to intimate and cozy (think speakeasy), a 24x24 covered deck and 24x10 patio area. Follow the trail down the hill towards the river and you'll find 225ft of raised walkway through a natural Sandstone canyon that arrives at our private 80ft dock on the riverfront. You'll find excellent walleye, muskie and sturgeon fishing as well as carp and catfish sheep's head and a bounty of other stuff to catch along with scenery that will make you fall in love...
The views from the dock are the crown jewel of the property.

We offer charcoal grilling station for each cabin and a central grilling location by the Gathering House. We have a fire pit in the space beyond the covered deck and plenty of wood to burn on site.

The White Pine Retreat is here to provide the perfect getaway, whether you're looking for a peaceful escape from busy city life or a convenient home base while your in the Dells for vacation, work, or youth sports.

As you pull into the tree lined drive you'll find the cabin nestled in a clearing, surrounded by towering White Pines.

The cabin features two bedrooms and a full bath downstairs, with a third bedroom up the spiral staircase. The living room features a double recliner, a pull-out couch and a 50" flat screen smart TV where you can log into any of your favorite streaming services.

The renovated traditional log cabin will provide a great home base for your group's vacation. With a fully stocked kitchen including everything you need to cook and serve dinner, you'll save money on meals by eating at "home" if you so choose.

A hammock hangs between two of the towering white pines and a picnic table sits just off the back porch. The back patio features a gas grill as well as a fire pit and outdoor seating and lighting. Firewood is even available for purchase on site.

Take a walk into the woods on the private .44 mile hiking trail. A large open yard provides the perfect place to throw the football, play a game of corn hole, or a quick game of tag to expend every last ounce of energy before enjoying a restful night of sleep away from the city lights and the sound of traffic.

Yard games including washer toss and cornhole as well as sport balls are provided for our guests in the storage bench on the front porch.
