It rained for the majority of our stay, but there was plenty to do in the house (the selection of games is awesome) and we had a BLAST. Your whole group will enjoy the peaceful natural setting and easy access to everything Baraboo has to offer. This full-home is nestled in the Baraboo Hills right outside of the quaint historic town of Baraboo. You are minutes from the north shore of Devils Lake State Park. 10 minutes from Devils Head Resort, 25 minutes from Cascade Ski Hill, and the Wisconsin Dells is an easy 30 minute ride North.
Note: The garage is off limits, w/the exception of the garbage cans access.
The space
The Chalet is perched upon a tree covered hill with a wrap around deck that gives magnificent 180 degree views, north, east and west. The home provides a full kitchen, large living room and plenty of comfortable sleeping spaces. The basement recreational room has a Retro Arcade gaming system console with 3500 games and hooks up to 43" TV unit. Note the house has lots of steps. Being in the woods and as an older home we are continually working to keep critters out, but do get a mouse on occasion.
The Hot tub requirers reading the protocol and to-do-list. Please if there are issues with the tub call me, or message me on the app. If the hot tub is damaged in anyway, that includes trying to drain it or fix anything on your own there's a $500-1000 fee for my service center to come out and fix things. Many things can be avoided without the service center if you need assistance please contact me.
Guest access
You'll have access to 80% of the house. The EV charger is in the garage and it is off limits unless requested, $25 per night charge, please message me we can add it into your stay. The 3 season porch isn't available in late fall thru early spring. Garage is off limits, garbage is located in the garage. but unless discussed otherwise it's off limits to parking vehicles.
Hot Tub is seasonal use only. April thru November depending on winter conditions. Message us if you have a request to use outside the seasonal timeline.
Other things to note
The farm land and woods surrounding the property are off limits. The driveway and deck are amazing and if you feel like exploring there are multiple trails minutes away. We ask for the respect of our neighbors because they raise large live stock. That can be dangerous if encountered on their property.
Though dogs aren't allowed I have a dog with me when I stay at the Chalet. just want anyone who is highly allergic to know this upfront.

This home is in a vacation rental community but surrounded by towering Pines and feels very private and located right on the golf course. We have games for families, including pac man :) The outdoor area is private Great place to make family memories. If that's not enough there is a huge outdoor deck on the front. we have a grille and picnic tables for large gatherings and grilling that perfect meal.
