The space
Conveniently located just off Highway 20 and 25 minutes from historic downtown Galena that offers museums, boutiques and restaurants located on Main Street.

The perfect weekend getaway or week-long vacation destination 25 minutes from downtown Galena. As you enter this 3 bedroom cabin the high ceilings will lead you into a waterfront view, with water views from every room you enter. Each space is uniquely curated to give everyone a sense of their own individual getaway while providing multiple gathering areas to hang out as a group. This cabin sits on the edge of the pond nestled amongst the forest on a private 50 acres estate. Open floor plan with fully equipped gourmet kitchen that includes an over-sized island for entertaining.

Indoor – The main floor features high vaulted ceilings, waterfront views, a walkout basement leading to your own private beach, and screened in porch for those indoor outdoor vibes. A master king bedroom with a full bath and soaking tub, and two lower level king bedrooms with a large full bath with laundry.

Upper level living room is an open floor plan leading into the kitchen space, and the lower level living space is equipped with a bar including a sink and beverage cooler for all of your entertaining needs. The lower level is also equipped with a foosball table which is enjoyable for all ages.

Outside you can take advantage of the beautiful scenery and sounds of nature on our large screened-in deck, or grill out on the patio. Enjoy a fire at night with our solo stove. There is plenty of yard and parking space. The cabin is situated on 50 acres with trails and a newly built 2+ acre pond to swim and fish in the summer and ice fish and ice skate in the winter.

In addition to feeling like you are staying at a luxury home in the woods, our cabin is located in a prime spot to all the amenities Jo Daviess County has to offer. Nearby attractions include downtown Galena (20 minutes) Eagle Ridge golf courses (15 minutes), Woodbine bend golf course (5 minutes), Massbach Ridge winery (10 minutes), Galena cellars winery(20 minutes), Highway 20 brewery (5 minutes),Shenandoah Esquire Center(20 minutes), Chestnut Mountain ski resort (20 minutes)

Pool*** - We have a beautiful, new pond on site. Clean, Clear and ready for swimming, kayaking, relaxing at the sand beach.

We do have property maintenance and security personnel. You may see them around the property during your stay

Our pond is semi-private and shared between our two rental homes, Cliffside Cottage and Cedar Cove Cabin. Guests of Cliffside Cottage have access to the beach area with the dock, while Cedar Cove Cabin has its own private beach area. The pond is enjoyed by all guests for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. We kindly ask all guests to respect each other's space and enjoy their time on the property responsibly. Thank you!

The Gleneagle Suite is our honeymoon/weekend getaway suite. It is a studio style rental. It is the bottom unit of our cabin with the Seven Sisters Suite. It has a full kitchen, living area, dining area, bathroom and a full size bed in a studio style setting. The sofa in the Living area is a sofa sleeper --so this rental could accommodate 4 guests.

Welcome to our cabin we call “Irish Hollow”. One of the oldest and original cabins at the lake. This cabin was hand built by a father and son in the earliest days of Apple Canyon Lake. This log cabin is as authentic as it gets. Immediately feel relaxed as you pamper yourself in luxury. The main floor master is absolutely amazing. The main floor bath has a jacuzzi tub, heated floors, and a wonderful shower.

This cabin literally feels like it was plucked from Ireland's countryside and placed so gently where it rests. We hope you enjoy our cabin with your family and friends as much as we do.

We absolutely love that we are located close to everything. You are just a couple blocks from the sports complex, pool, marina, cove restaurant, golf course, club house, and hiking path. Further away, the waterfall is a pretty sight to see and a great back drop for pictures. Across from the dam and waterfall is Harold Batham nature trail, walking only. Great place for a family walk. Please view framed map for beach and other attractions.

Nice front deck for visiting with friends and family. Sit around the campfire at night, located in the back yard. Extra spacious lot next door for playing games. Trail close to property for walking/hiking. You will have access to lake amenities, pool and beach, with tags provided. Lower level has sleeper sofa and T.V.

We try to supply some firewood for our guests as a perk, but it is not guaranteed. T.V. is dish network. Internet is Fiber-link (250 Mbps), usually very good, but in the rolling hills of Apple River Canyon, at times it is not, so make appropriate plans if this is a must.

The charming town of Galena only 15 miles away. Small towns in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin within a 20 minute drive. Wisconsin is only 10 miles to the north.

Apple Canyon State Park, 10 miles away. Very nice scenic views. Multiple hiking paths. Worth your visit if you like the outdoors.

Don't feel like cooking every meal. One of our favorites, Old School Saloon, Scales Mound IL, 6 miles away. Excellent pizza and sandwiches. They have a 4.8 star rating for a reason. Need delivery, Thriving Thistle Market in Apple River delivers. Their sandwiches are excellent. Pizza is good. You can dine in as well.

Wonderful little town of Shullsburg, Wisconsin. (established in 1827, one of the oldest in Wisconsin) only 13 miles to the north. The restaurants in this small town are second to none. You won't be disappointed. We love visiting this small town.

We have other hidden gems that we recommend and share with our guests upon check in, including "Gravity Hill", 12 miles to the north in Wisconsin, you will be laughing as you roll backwards, up hill???

No Smoking, No parties, no bachelor or bachelorette parties. Sorry, no pets. Maximum guests 6. Minimum age of primary renter is 25.

We cannot lock in dates until deposit is received. Same date requests will be given to the first person securing it with a deposit. Three night stays are required during holiday weekends.

We enjoyed morning coffee and sunsets on the screened deck (big plus). The house is beautiful, nicely decorated, fully stocked with everything you would need. I really appreciated a toaster oven. A lot of dishes for a big company, lots of space upstairs and downstairs. Huge deck. Our son took advantage of his space downstairs feeling close but private. The house easily accommodates a family with several kids or two families. Beth (our host) is awesome. She was in touch with us, welcoming to the house, advising on the area attractions and activities. We didn’t have any problems with the stay but I’m sure she would be very responsive to our requests or concerns. We really liked Galena area. Surprisingly, there are lots to do. We went on the Segway tour on Chestnut mountain, stopped by the Galena Cellars for wine tasting, even explored Iowa’s Maquoketa caves. Galena which is about 10 min drive, very beautiful, frozen in time with lots of good eateries and shops. Just a walk down the Main Street and riverbank is relaxing and interesting. The locals are very nice, friendly and welcoming. PT Murphy magic show is a must. Overall, we had an amazing time!"

The Lodge has WIFI and comes fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and standard small appliances.

Enjoy our floating cabin, located on the backwaters of the Mississippi River! This luxurious cabin was just built and has everything you need for a fun or relaxing getaway. This cabin has a custom kitchen, 3 queen beds, 1 queen sofa sleeper, 1 bathroom, and a beautiful rooftop deck with a hot tub!
It is located at Millennium Marina, which often features live music in the Summer. With being on the water, you will often see wildlife.

This custom cabin is located DIRECTLY on the waters of the Mississippi River. It is parked at our marina and DOES NOT MOVE.

You will have to walk on a dock to get to the cabin. Things are a little different than a typical "home", but its super fun! The roof may NOT be accessible at all times of the year (like when it is super cold, raining, or snowing). If there is ANY snow at all, we ask you be extra careful because it is a rubber roof. The rooftop area has a hot tub and outdoor furniture.
This rental is close to the restaurant and is connected to docks that customers park at.
NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED AT THIS TIME.
We provide a coffee maker, toaster, stove, oven, and other kitchen items.

We also have boat slips available by the night or by the week. One uncovered slip is provided with your rental. PLEASE NOTE: we have no control of the river levels. This means that sometimes swimming is not possible because the water will be so low. Also, sometimes you cannot get your boat into our marina due to low water. If you plan on bringing a boat, please ask us if the water is deep enough. If you would like more details on how to check the river level, please message us.
Kayak rentals available from the restaurant on property, when they are in season. You get one free hour kayak rental for all registered guests (you can always ask about your specific time if interested in kayaks). Please ask about current restaurant hours if this amenity is important for you.

We have quiet time in the marina, and that starts at 10:00. We want everyone to enjoy the space and the water, so please be respectful of this time.

PLEASE NOTE- We are located on the Mississippi and WE DO FLOOD. We might have to cancel the reservation if flooding is in the forecast. The cabin will stay in the water year round! SWIMMING NOT ADVISED unless you understand the river and swim at your own risk. YES there will be bugs in the warm months! This cabin is DIRECTLY on the water. While we do our best to deep clean, there is no way to prevent the bugs outside.

It would have been nice to have another day to just enjoy the house and its amenities. Communication with the host (Beth) was excellent!! There are 4 barstools at the counter, and 2 more folding barstools located in the bedroom to bring out to make a total of 6.
Each bedroom has a queen pillowtop bed with sheets and one cotton blanket provided. (If you tend to get cold, please bring an extra blanket with you). There is also a 32 inch smart tv in each bedroom. You will store your bags under the bed.

This home (we think :)) is awesome but may not be for everyone.
- There is an approx 100 yrd walk down a sloped, paved path from where you park to the home. From there you walk up 7-8 steps to the home. We can't guarantee in winter it will be shoveled.
-Also, this home has a spiral staircase to get to the lower level of the home, where the hot tub is located. The staircase is not suitable for young children, and there are wide gaps between rails that a child could squeeze through. (Our older kids (7 and up) love the home, but please be aware of this before booking). You can alternatively walk to the hot tub from the path in front of the home if you wish to avoid the stairs.
We do have a security camera (audio and visual) that faces front of the house down the path/stairs up house.
No smoking of any kind allowed on the property
The house is surrounded in woods. Expect some bugs outside and occasionally inside.
Just being honest- property is not perfect but we LOVE being there ;)

Dogs are welcome if well behaved. Extra pet fee will apply. $65 fee for dogs. Must be well trained. No cats please (family member with allergy)

Parking: there is ample parking space right in the front of the cabin. If needed, especially in the winter, the garage can be utilized

Enjoy lounging outside, surrounded by lush green and beautiful bird chirping. One of our favorite activities is star gazing and firefly watching on a hot summer night.

*Creekside Cabin is nestled on a mound right above the Marina, with nearby hiking/horse trails that can be used to hike down to the Marina area for fishing, boating, tennis/pickle ball courts, kids park, and live outdoor concerts every Wednesday and Saturday evening.

**For your and our safety, the home is equipped with security cameras near the entrance door facing the parking lot and in the back. In addition, there is a smart noiseware in the living room that detects alarm sound, humidity, and noise level (no recording of any sort).

Moon Valley Lodge is a unique and tranquil getaway located in the rolling hills of Jo Daviess County just west of Apple Canyon Lake and only 24 minutes to the historic, tourist destination of Galena. This 3 bed, 3 bath guest house is decorated in what we call rustic farmhouse. Lots of wood for trim and to make several pieces of furniture and furnishings are farmhouse style with rustic accents.

Cozy, well furnished cottage with living room/dining area/kitchen and fireplace in the main room. Bedroom with queen bed and bath with tub/shower combo. Large windows to enjoy the view of meadow and woods. Cottage is reached by a separate drive and walkway. Owners who live in the main farmhouse honor your privacy and expect the same from guests in the cottage.

Other things to note
The cottage is located on a farm and is reached by 1/2 long gravel lane. There are no street lights. The cottage is up to date and very comfortable but the surroundings are rustic. If you want to hike in the woods be sure to bring long sleeved shirts, long pants, hiking shoes and bug spray. The small town of Elizabeth is 5 minutes away and does have a laundromat. Extra sheets and towels are provided.

We have two historic cottages located on the property and three separate rentals. The cabins are located on opposite ends of the property. You can enjoy the seven acres of wooded area by hiking or taking your dog for a walk. Whether you are planning a romantic trip to Galena, a golfing trip, a couple’s getaway, a wine lovers weekend, or skiing at Chestnut Mountain during the winter months, Homestead Hideaway will accommodate to your needs.

Guest access
When you stay at Homestead Hideaway, you can simply relax in our cozy rustic cabins, or get out and enjoy everything the area has to offer. At Homestead Hideaway you can expect a tranquil feel and a stress free retreat. The cabins are located in a beautiful rural area where it is perfect to have a cup of coffee or tea in the mornings and enjoy the wildlife. Let our cabins be a rare chance to unplug from the world and help ensure you have a relaxed and secluded stay. We are not able to provide Internet or cable TV due to the location of the cabins. However, do not let that steer you away from the beautiful setting. There are numerous locations in Galena as well as E-Town Coffee in Elizabeth, IL with Internet access.

Starting Mid August 2022 We will have passes available for ACL Nixon beach (15 minute drive) and ACL pool. You must speak to host prior to arrival for information. You must have tags and parking passes for these amenities and there is a fee from security deposit IF LOST TAGS

This custom built studio cabin has everything you need to reset and relax! Situated on the waterfront of Millennium Marina backwaters, you have your own hot tub, soaking tub, and king sized bed. The dual sided fireplace is visible while laying in bed, or lounging in the massage chair. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, 2 burner stove, coffee essentials, and a dishwasher. Take in the surroundings while reading a book out on your private deck. Millennium restaurant is next door as well!

The space
The cabin is very open and spacious. We want you to be able to enjoy everything with an open concept. (There is a door on the bathroom of course)
This is “Studio 2” and there is a “Studio 1 next door”.
We do want you to know there WILL be bugs in the warmer months. While we do our best to control them, they will absolutely be present. They live all around the cabin, but the nature is stunning!

We have 8 rentals on our 14 acre riverfront property. This is NOT 100% secluded, but there is still a lot of privacy.

This rental is located in a flood zone, which means there is a chance of cancellation due to high water. While this does not happen often, we will communicate if we see a flood coming. We would never put our guests in danger, and we will let you know if a flood looks like it’s coming.

This newly built floating cabin sits on the backwaters of the Mississippi River. It’s 1970s mod design is unique and fun! This rental has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a queen pull out couch. There is a full bathroom and a stocked kitchen.
Soak in the hot tub and take in the waterfront views all around. While there are other cabins around, you have your own walkway and no one connected to you!
Enjoy a kayak ride, fish, or just relax on your floating deck.
This is located at Millennium Marina.

The space
This cabin was just built in 2023.
The livingroom has an electric fireplace and smart tv with a queen size pull out bed.
The kitchen has a propane stove (no oven), full size fridge, toaster, drip coffee pot, k cup style coffee pot, french press, pots, pans, and everything else you need to cook a meal. There are 4 barstools at the counter, and 2 more folding barstools located in the bedroom to bring out to make a total of 6.
Each bedroom has a queen pillowtop bed with sheets and one cotton blanket provided. (If you tend to get cold, please bring an extra blanket with you). There is also a 32 inch smart tv in each bedroom. You will store your bags under the bed.
Your private deck has a hot tub and 6 person dining set.
During kayaking season, your rental also comes with a free hour rental per guest.

They also have their own amenities, so privacy should be no problem at all. The 7 acres that the cabin rest on are a great place to walk the dog, watch nature, and enjoy the fresh air.

A wonderful, charming and relaxing location to take a break from life or get together with feiends. Walking distance is Lake Galena where you can rent a boat to cruise around, go fishing, or dock at random places and explore the forest.
Check out wild animals and birds come to the lake to drink and hang out. Fish from the peer, enjoy volleyball, soccer, basketball and tennis courts, as well as one of the best Gold courses in the world! Nearby is Galena town with its civil war-era charm, private wineries with wine tasting every day, local cheese makers, unique sauces and sweets, as well as antique stores. Fine selection of restaurants, from fancy French, Italian, to small town diners and burger joints (one literally called ‘Burger Joint’, its awesome!). About 20 minutes away is the Mississippi river and town of Dubuque. There you can find casinos, fun bars and big river stuff. This is a great destination for a family vacation, or just a getaway. We can house up to 20 people in 2 houses.

Also in close proximity from the cabin is a water fall (Thunder Bay Falls), stables (Shenandoah Riding Center), hot air ballon rides Fly Galena), an old school house (Belden School), a marina for boating and fishing (Galena Marina), hiking trails, a farmer’s market during the summer, zip lining (Long Hallow Canopy Tours ), a spa (Eagle Ridge Resort) and 4 golf courses. Directions on how to get to these attractions are in the cabin and only minutes away.

Downtown Galena is about 15 minutes from the cabin and you’ll find dinning, wine tastings, shopping, art galleries, trolly rides, ghost tours, tours for president Grant’s home, Belvedere Mansion, the oldest house in Galena ( the Dowling House), bike and canoe rentals and much more.
There is also a winery minutes away from downtown.
Dubuque, IA is about a 25 to 30 minute drive from the cabin and you’ll find casinos, National Mississippi museum and aquarium, an elevator ride (Fenelon Place) in which when you reach the top you’ll be able to see the Mississippi River and the bridges that connect Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. More shops, antiques stores and restaurants as well.

The house is located 1.5 miles (4 minutes) away from the Galena Territory Owner's Club that you have access to with 8 amenity cards provided. It has swimming, exercising, basketball/pickle ball (rackets and balls provided at the house!), and games. Also, 4 championship golf courses within 5 minutes drive, 9 miles (13 minutes) to Galena, and 17 miles (25 minutes) to Chestnut Mountain Resort.

The cabin will be supplied with a few staples to get you started. You will find 2 extra rolls of toilet paper supplied, hand soap at each sink, 1 roll paper towel in kitchen, plenty of garbage bags, dishwasher pods, kitchen towels, sponge, dishsoap and hand soap. For the coffee lovers, we supply a container of ground coffee and filters for the drip coffeemaker, and 10 Keurig pods. Well equipped kitchen with enough plates for 20 (one in dishwasher, one on the table!). Newer washer and dryer with provided laundry detergent and dryer sheets.

Our cleaning fees are directly passed on from our cleaners to our guests, we do our best to keep them as low as possible. Holidays are charged at double rate and last minute cleans (booking within a week) may be subject to extra cleaning fees.

This is an amazingly serene private property with woodland views! There are no steep drives and it is just off of main roads! There is one decline coming into the property off the main road.

We love this home, and we think you will too! But just a few things to keep in mind:

-Winter access: Our driveway is 15 feet from the house, and while plowed, snow can occasionally make access tricky. The last turn is slightly uphill.

-Steep stairs: As with many A-frame cabins, the stairs to the second floor are steep, but a sturdy grab rail is provided.

-Nature’s charm: This is a cabin in the woods, so expect the occasional friendly bug.

-Security cameras: There are exterior cameras facing the front entry and driveway to help with guest check in (No indoor or backyard cameras for guests privacy)

This custom log cabin is the perfect getaway for friends & family seeking the solitude of the Galena Territory and fine dining and shops just 10 minutes away on Galena's Main Street. Each of the 3-levels offers an owner's suite with bath. Cozy up to 2 fireplaces, grill on the deck, or make 'smores at the firepit. The cabin has high speed, fiber internet and the lower-level walkout features a 55” flat screen TV. Guests can access swimming pools & pool tables at the Owner's Club 7 minutes away.

The space
Tucked into the rolling hillsides of the “driftless” region this beautifully crafted log cabin is an irresistible hideaway at the edge of the 6,800-acre Galena Territory. The striking Great Room boasts vaulted ceilings, plush furniture, a fireplace and pastoral views of the valley by day, or hours of stargazing through the telescope at night. Throughout the home, you’ll find unique pieces like custom Amish furniture made from 150yr old barnwood and antler chandeliers that give this log cabin an extra touch of rustic character. Retreat to one of two decks for a steaming mug of your favorite hot drink, or a glass of wine. Each of the three levels offers a king suite with bath, sleeping a total of up to 10 guests. The lower-level walkout features heated floors, a 55” flat screen TV and a second fireplace to cozy up to as you binge your favorite Netflix series, or gather round for family board game night. While the kitchen is the perfect place to cook a romantic dinner for two, the rustic dining table is large enough to accommodate the entire family.

As a guest, you'll have access to the entire home, with the exception of the garage. You will also have access to the private Owner’s club, which overlooks a wide valley in the heart of The Galena Territory and houses recreational facilities for year-round enjoyment. Rent a pontoon on Lake Galena, horseback ride, or hike one of the more than 20 miles of private trails. Be sure to keep an eye out for colorful wildlife from deer, fox, coyote, wild turkey, owls, and bald eagles. The Pool/Recreation Complex includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, locker rooms, a snack bar with indoor and outdoor patio seating, and three pools. The outdoor activity pool has a double slide and in-pool seating area. The zero-entry kiddy pool has bubblers and a frog slide, and the indoor pool is open for swimming year-round. To round out your recreation options, the Owners’ Club has an indoor court to accommodate basketball, pickleball, or volleyball, an arts and crafts room and game room with pool and ping pong tables as well as a video arcade. The space
Conveniently located just off Highway 20 and 25 minutes from historic downtown Galena that offers museums, boutiques and restaurants located on Main Street.

The perfect weekend getaway or week-long vacation destination 25 minutes from downtown Galena. As you enter this 3 bedroom cabin the high ceilings will lead you into a waterfront view, with water views from every room you enter. Each space is uniquely curated to give everyone a sense of their own individual getaway while providing multiple gathering areas to hang out as a group. This cabin sits on the edge of the pond nestled amongst the forest on a private 50 acres estate. Open floor plan with fully equipped gourmet kitchen that includes an over-sized island for entertaining.

Indoor – The main floor features high vaulted ceilings, waterfront views, a walkout basement leading to your own private beach, and screened in porch for those indoor outdoor vibes. A master king bedroom with a full bath and soaking tub, and two lower level king bedrooms with a large full bath with laundry.

Upper level living room is an open floor plan leading into the kitchen space, and the lower level living space is equipped with a bar including a sink and beverage cooler for all of your entertaining needs. The lower level is also equipped with a foosball table which is enjoyable for all ages.

Outside you can take advantage of the beautiful scenery and sounds of nature on our large screened-in deck, or grill out on the patio. Enjoy a fire at night with our solo stove. There is plenty of yard and parking space. The cabin is situated on 50 acres with trails and a newly built 2+ acre pond to swim and fish in the summer and ice fish and ice skate in the winter.

In addition to feeling like you are staying at a luxury home in the woods, our cabin is located in a prime spot to all the amenities Jo Daviess County has to offer. Nearby attractions include downtown Galena (20 minutes) Eagle Ridge golf courses (15 minutes), Woodbine bend golf course (5 minutes), Massbach Ridge winery (10 minutes), Galena cellars winery(20 minutes), Highway 20 brewery (5 minutes),Shenandoah Esquire Center(20 minutes), Chestnut Mountain ski resort (20 minutes)

Pool*** - We have a beautiful, new pond on site. Clean, Clear and ready for swimming, kayaking, relaxing at the sand beach.

We do have property maintenance and security personnel. You may see them around the property during your stay

Our pond is semi-private and shared between our two rental homes, Cliffside Cottage and Cedar Cove Cabin. Guests of Cliffside Cottage have access to the beach area with the dock, while Cedar Cove Cabin has its own private beach area. The pond is enjoyed by all guests for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. We kindly ask all guests to respect each other's space and enjoy their time on the property responsibly. Thank you!

Downtown Galena is really special- amazing shops, restaurants, wine tasting, historic sites, Haunted Tours, Trolly Tours, and more. Chestnut Mountain is about 25 min drive away, for skiing, zip lining and more.

The Galena Creekside Cabin is a charming 2700+ sq ft, two-level, 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home that offers a cozy space that comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests.

Parking: there is ample parking space right in the front of the cabin. If needed, especially in the winter, the garage can be utilized

Other features: 3 patios directly accessible from bedrooms, 1 patio accessible from the dining room (gas grill), plus 1 screened-in porch right off the dining room, all with comfortable sitting. Enjoy lounging outside, surrounded by lush green and beautiful bird chirping. One of our favorite activities is star gazing and firefly watching on a hot summer night.

Entertainment: smart TVs with streaming capabilities plus plus plenty of board games (kids monopoly, Jenga, shoots and ladders, etc.) and outdoor games (bags, ring toss, basketball, soccer, pickelball equipment and full net, chalk, etc.).

*Creekside Cabin is nestled on a mound right above the Marina, with nearby hiking/horse trails that can be used to hike down to the Marina area for fishing, boating, tennis/pickle ball courts, kids park, and live outdoor concerts every Wednesday and Saturday evening.

**For your and our safety, the home is equipped with security cameras near the entrance door facing the parking lot and in the back. In addition, there is a smart noiseware in the living room that detects alarm sound, humidity, and noise level (no recording of any sort).

Guest access
You will have private access to the entire home during your stay minus the owner's closets (kitchen pantry and one closet in the master bedroom).

AREA: you are only 12 minutes away from the town of Galena, where you can find many restaurants, art galleries, and boutique stores. 22 minutes to the Chestnut Mountain Resort for skiing/snowboarding or summer outdoor activities. 30 minutes to Dubuque where you can find popular chain stores. Within a 30 minutes radius, you can find 8+ golf courses, numerous breweries, wineries, bike trails, and state parks.

* The cabin is in a quiet and secluded community area, so no parties, no events, nor loud noises. Also no pets.
