The cabin/cottage is very bright, cheery and spacious so ladies you will love it too. There are 2 fire pits and we have firewood available onsite at no charge. We also provide a full size charcoal grill with charcoal and a full size gas grill with propane. There is a 2 stall garage and a brand new large deck facing the river with plenty of seating and a fire table. In addition to the cabin being on the river you are situated across the road from 80 acres of federal land that contains additional winding river frontage for you to explore. If it's a rainy day and you want to stay inside we also carry a large selection of movies (over 300) and board games. There is something for everyone just pack your clothes, groceries and outdoor toys and get ready to relax and explore. Cell service is very limited at the cabin and there is no WiFi. Guest appreciate being able to detach from technology.

Although there is no lake view from Little Bear cabin, you only have a short 250 foot walk to our other property, Big Bear lake house, here you have your own private dune on and overlooking Lake Michigan - now with access to Lake Michigan via a new set on stairs down the dune.
At the top of the dune there is a huge open yard, gazebo, and picnic area overlooking Lake Michigan! It offers spectacular views of the lake all year round, and all seasons are magnificent. The newly built stairs on the dune will take you directly to the white sand beach on Lake Michigan!

Food and Fun: Every little town seems to have a great restaurant or two. The Red Apple in Arcadia just about a mile away serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Cabbage Shed in Elberta is our FAVORITE with good food and live bands most nights – grab a pint of Guinness and enjoy! Frankfort has several great places to eat and see bands plus the Crescent bakery for breads and baked goods which you just have to check out – delicious! All the little towns have something going on all the time from food, music, festivals, shopping & antiquing – Up North has it all. The Elberta Farmer’s Market is great on Thursdays and Frankfort Farmer’s Market takes place on Saturday for fresh, home grown stuff. Local fruit & vegetable farmers have great produce stands along M-22 and elsewhere for anything from famous Michigan cherries, to apples, blueberries and asparagus. Take the kids to the Cherry Hut in Beulah or an actual retro drive-in experience at The Cherry Bowl Drive-In Theater between Beulah and Honor. A fall visit to Old Mission Point's wineries is a great day trip as is St. Ambrose Cellars in Beulah for a selection of wines, meads and ciders. The area has a lot to offer, check it out!

Outdoors: Just plain paradise!
Spring / Summer - Water-sports galore with unsalted big surf on wave days, or kayaking and paddle boarding on calm days - unspoiled beach and nature walks on the preservation lands. Some of the nation’s most treasured trails, dunes and scenery to seek out and sunsets to die for. The Sleeping Bear Dunes are about a half hour north along scenic M-22 if you want a workout and view you will never forget. Golf courses, hiking and bike trails galore. Bring your fly-rod for the Betsie, Platte, Big & Little Manistee and Bear Creek rivers - or any of the other nearby trout streams and have a blast. Charter services for the big lake and rivers are available or bring your boat for the inland lakes if you like. Manistee National Forest is open to hunters within a half hour, and May is morel month if you know what to look for.

Fall – Nothing beats fall in Michigan! Relax at the cozy cottage with the wood burning fireplace glowing. There’s cable for catching a football game with a view of the lake, or take a day trip to wineries, scenic trails, local festivals and apple orchards galore. The fall colors are the real star of the show – a leisurely drive along M-22 to take it all in is worth a trip on its own!

Winter - Just less than 20 minutes away is luxurious Crystal Mountain for skiing, snowboarding and lodge life- hit the slopes during the day and return to the cabin for a cozy fire in the wood burning stove (firewood is provided). Caberfae Peaks is just less than an hour away for variety. There’s trails for snowmobiling, and fun for the whole family sledding at the hill at Onekama high school, just 10 minutes away. Up North Michigan is a tranquil place in the winter often with stunning frozen lake views (keep an eye out for ice balls that form and create a fascinating frozen landscape), and usually quite a bit of snow. There’s a reason it got the Winter Wonderland moniker!

Beautifully redesigned, vintage, comfortable, super clean cabin located in the heart of Manistee National Forest. Totally secluded with no neighbors in sight. Cabin sits on 5 wooded acres and is surrounded by hundreds of acres of Manistee National Forest. Our place has been recently remodeled and beautifully appointed. Close to fishing ( WORLD RECORD BROWN TROUT CAUGHT 4 MILES AWAY), hunting, hiking, downhill and cross country skiing, mountain biking, (Big M Cross Country and mountain bike trails are only 3 miles down the road) canoeing and kayaking, and snowmobiling ( catch the trails right from the driveway). Beautiful covered front porch with huge patio and charcoal grill. Also has a firepit for those evening bonfires! The cabin comes totally furnished and also has a washer and dryer. The bathroom and bedroom are very large and there is a leather sofa and futon in the living room. We also have 2 very comfortable roll away sleeper cots. You will not be disappointed with our place!

Our cabin is Air Conditioned, has 1 bedroom with a king bed, a loft with a 2 queen sized beds and the walk out basement has one King and one Queen sized bed and a Queen over full bunk bed. On the main floor, a Sectional couch that also pulls out for a bed. Kitchen is fully equipped. 1 Bathroom and 1 outdoor shower. Large fire pit and a gas grill. A sweet front porch and plenty of room to park dunes machines, stone accents on the walk out basement and foundation of the cabin are stunning . Picnic tables outdoors. All the furniture has the log cabin theme. You can be uptown in one mile and enjoy all the action. Bumper cars, go-karts, mini golf, dune rides boating, restaurants and more. The entrance of the Dunes is 2 miles away, Just go on the scenic road around Silver Lake. Enjoy Lake Michigan on the dunes or if you go the other way from the cabin you can get to Lake Michigan in a few miles where you can park and go for the day. Then you can relax in the quiet cabin at days end. We have built this ourselves and have taken extraordinary steps to make this a beautiful place to vacation. A beautiful log home built in 2007 with all of the amenities you'd want nestled just below the flies only stretch of the Pere Marquette River between Gleason's Landing and Bowman's Bridge. - "We loved staying in the yurt. It was quiet, peaceful, spotless and private." - "I hate to give a five star summary because it means more bookings and less availability. But here is the honest truth. First and foremost it is CLEAN! It is NOT the base camp for the "guys" headed up north to see how many cases of beer they can drink. It is a great location for the wife and kids, especially if the wife has a dislike for the typical "cabin" the guys are used to staying in for the weekend salmon fishing trip. There are things I would definitely change about the property but that is personal preference. The yurt is laid out nicely with little privacy but more than a hotel room. The Kitchen has everything you need with many minor details included (zip lock bags, spice rack, coffee, etc.). The bathroom is very nicely finished but is a bit of a walk away from the yurt, not too far but enough that in the rain it is an imposition. Again, very CLEAN. I did not feel that I needed dollar store flip flops in order to shower. The setting is very quiet with the exception of the neighbors rooster who lets you know that 6:30 a.m. has arrived yet again. In short it was a perfect adventure. One that the wife and our kids hope to make a yearly memory if not more frequently. So anyone reading this, please go elsewhere so you don't make it more difficult for me... LOL, but seriously"

- "Loved the house, it is a gorgeous woods" - "Quiet and comfortable great location." - "My family stayed 7 nights here. This place is exactly as described and pictures are acurate. First thing we noticed is the quiet atmosphere when we arrived. There are neighbors on both sides but one was vacant all week and the other was there but were quiet and respectful. There is also a privacy fence between the property so we didnt see them at all. The house is practically new. Updated and new appliances. Your basic needs are taken care of. Smart TV in living room with descent wifi. Front porch is covered and so nice to just sit and listen to the wildlife. We had a few bonfires at night, it was a great time. The owner (Dan) was polite, attentive and made sure that we knew he was just down the road if we needed anything. He came by a few times to take away the trash from the outdoor bin that was provided. The property is about 20 minutes east of Manistee, but Wellston is only 5 minutes away if you needed to pick up something from the store. Manistee has fantastic beaches and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. We really enjoyed our stay, it was nice to slow down and rest from the hustle of life. Would reccomend! Thank you Dan!"

VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT

THE PARTIES HERETO, IN CONSIDERATION OF THESE PRESENTS, AGREE THAT:
1. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: GUEST must accurately disclose occupancy including the number of adults, children and animals that will occupy said rented premises in the booking data provided through the online platform. That determines the maximum occupancy at all times and applies to day visitors and children as well. Unless otherwise approved by your HOST, occupancy over the indicated capacity may result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of amounts paid.
2. NO SMOKING or Vaping or illegal drugs of any kind will take place in or on the premises. Violation of this will result in a $500 charge. Vaping or smoking outside with windows and doors closed is accepted. GUEST is liable for the full cost to remove any odor from the home in the case that it exceeds the above charge.
3. NO ANIMALS of any description will be kept in or on premises without prior approval by HOST. * Animal Addendum is required with this contract for approval of pets, emotional support or service animals.
4. DAMAGE POLICY & INSURANCE– Guests must select either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver. The refundable security deposit will be held for 7 days post check-out and will be refunded provided there are no damages. The damage waiver is recommended.
There will be no charges in the case that there is no:
A) damage to property, its contents or furnishings,
B) dirt, trash or other mess requiring excessive cleaning
C) There is no negligent damage due to inclement weather. It is GUEST’S responsibility to secure items on premises in the case of inclement weather or outside conditions such as outdoor umbrellas, or any other item that may blow away or be damaged by high winds, or other inclement weather.
D) any other costs incurred by your Host because of your stay. Any damage to the Vacation Rental or its contents must be reported before check-out.
E) GUEST is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the local law enforcement.
F) No linens are lost, stained, or damaged.
G) The unit is left locked and secured when unoccupied.
To ensure that the proper party is held responsible GUEST must inform management within 24 hours of arrival of any pre-existing damage or issues or may be held responsible for any cost involved in repair to be taken from the security deposit.
Damage not covered by, or exceeding the coverage limit of, the accidental rental damage insurance, Security Deposit, or booking platform coverage, is your full responsibility. In the case that an insurance claim must be file with homeowner's insurance, the guest is liable to pay the deductible. You grant your HOST the right to be reimbursed via the booking platform or your credit card for any such damages, including, but not limited to, additional cleaning fees. If the booking platform refuses reimbursement, HOST has the right to pursue reimbursement by reasonable means including small claims court and/or police report. HOST does not make a habit of filing claims or requiring reimbursement for small expenses under $50.
5. CLEANLINESS– You are expected to treat the entire premises with respect, keeping in mind that this is an individual’s home and you are a house guest. Even if a cleaning fee was charged, you are expected to leave the premises in a clean, neat and orderly condition to allow our cleaners to provide a thorough clean in the very short window between guests. Management must be notified within 24 hours of arrival if unhappy with conditions upon arrival.
6. NOISE & QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are between 10pm and 9am. At all times GUEST must keep noise levels to a minimum as to not disturb the peace and quiet of surrounding neighbors. Noise exceeding local ordinances or causing a neighbor complaint will be grounds for immediate eviction without possibility of a refund.
7. PARKING – Maximum number of cars GUEST’s party may bring is displayed on the listing, as well as allowed parking areas.
8. LOCK OUT – (For keyless entries) This home is on a keyless entry and your code is active for the duration of your booking. There is a set of twin size bunk beds and a twin size trundle bed. Sleeps 3 people total. Bedding is not provided in the rental cost. However, it can be upon request at an additional fee of $10 per bed to cover laundry cost (this would include 1 pillow, 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet and 1 blanket per bed).
A tent is allowed for additional sleeping with a total of 6 people on the property, at an additional fee of $20 for the tent.

A few gallons of water will be available at the cabin and more can be obtained for free, at a source across the road for washing and cooking. We suggest you bring bottled water for drinking. There is no shower, bath tub, etc. There is a hotel 3 miles away that do allow people to shower for a $10 fee.

Firewood is available for purchase on site at $4.00 per bundle. (NO outside wood allowed - due to potential introduction of invasive beetles into our woods).

There is an old fashioned outhouse (not a port-a-potty) with tissue paper provided, not the old Sears catalog😉. Hand sanitizer dispenser.

Firepit and charcoal grill are available for cooking and a cooler for food storage, however we do not supply charcoal or ice.
Firewood for sale on site at $4 per bundle. *NO outside wood allowed - due to potential introduction of invasive beetles into our woods. First bundle of firewood is free!

No electricity means: no AC or fans or lights besides the solar ones. For cooler weather there is a gas heat source. There is decent cell service though.

Welcome to the Aubert Den. This cozy log cabin is located in the Ward Hills region of the Manistee National Forest.

We invite you to come and enjoy all Lake County has to offer. Out the back door, you will find hiking trails leading you into the surrounding wooded hills. This immediate area is excellent for hiking, snow shoeing and seasonal hunting. Naturalists will enjoy our resident wildlife such as grouse, deer, owl and wood peckers. After dark, from time to time, the baying of the coyotes can be heard in the distance.
For some fun and excitement, mountain bikers will find the North Country Trail just 3 miles from the cabin. Also, the Little 'O' ORV/ATV Trail can be reached by following our 2 track to the property line.
Fishermen may travel 4 miles from the cabin to the Pere Marquette River Access at Rainbow Rapids.
Snowmobilers are also welcome and may store up to 6 sleds in our garage. From there, just fire 'em up and trail 35 is one mile to the east.

Inside the cabin, twin bedrooms are outfit with Amish made log bunk beds. Each bunk bed has a full size mattress on the bottom and a twin size mattress on the top, sleeping 3 persons per room. In the living room, a full sized futon comfortable sleeps an additional 2 persons, accommodating 6 persons maximum. All bedding and towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a standard size refrigerator/freezer, four burner electric stove top, a medium sized toaster oven, microwave, crockpot, coffee pot, pots, pans, cooking utensils, dinnerware, silverware, glassware and table linens. The dining table seats 4 comfortably. In front of the cabin, a charcoal grill is provided. Alternatively, an outdoor glass patio table seats 4, or you may enjoy taking advantage of vintage TV trays (set of 4) and skip the formalities.

To ensure a meaningful getaway up north, no television is provided. However, you are welcome to enjoy our extensive dvd collection that shall suit most interest types. We encourage our guests to spend time by the fire, as in front of the cabin there is a fire ring for roasting goodies and telling stories.

Guests will have access to over 300 miles of groomed snowmobile trails and orv trails from the driveway.

We invite you to explore the Aim High’s 18 acres offering a beautiful and varying hiking trail as well as the Manistee National Forest directly out back of the property.

IMPORTANT - For guests traveling with pets :
We raise and train Airedale terriers and German shorthair pointers on our property. Our dogs are friendly and able to move around freely when they are outside. All guest dogs need to be leashes at all times and also need to be friendly. Dogs are required to be crate trained. That means that if you leave the cabin without your dog, the dog must be left in a crate. Failure to do this will result in a forfeited reservation. If your dog is not friendly, do not bring it with you. Up to date proof of vaccination is required prior to arrival. The pet will not be welcome to stay without this information.
In the event of dogs getting on furniture, having an accident or failure to clean up after your dog outside, an additional cleaning fee will be charged at check out. If you feel your dog is unable to meet these requirements, you are welcome to cancel this reservation for no charge within 24 hours of making the reservation.

Welcome to our (1 bedroom and 1 loft) Cozy cabin in the WOODS! Just a mile from downtown Baldwin and near the Pere Marquette River for amazing FISHING. LOTS of lakes, rivers and trails nearby for walking and ORV! We’re 30 miles from Ludington’s beautiful sandy beach on Lake MI! Great for a DATE weekend, FAMILIES with kids, GIRLS WEEKEND or some FISHING buddies! While the loft can accommodate adults, it is more suitable for kids.

The space
Come RELAX at our COZY cabin in the WOODS! It’s located on 2.5 acres in Baldwin, MI. We advertise as a 2 bedroom to make sure people understand that we have 2 separate sleeping spaces. 1 BEDROOM and 1 LOFT. :-) The bedroom has a KING size bed. In the loft we have 1 queen mattress (pretty roomy area), 1 full mattress and 1 twin mattress(tight for adults). There’s an easy to slide out loft ladder to access the beds in the loft. We also have a full size camper mattress available for use. It’s stored under the bed in the bedroom. The camper mattress may be suitable for smaller children if they’re not old enough to be in the loft safely. We have a mowed WALKING TRAIL through the woods for you to enjoy along with a covered patio, fire pit and hammock in the back yard. We offer eight Adirondack chairs, two patio chairs with comfortable foot rests & a large picnic table for dining outside under the covered patio. Come ENJOY our CABIN!!! It’s BEAUTIFUL here in the SPRING, SUMMER, FALL & WINTER!

(1) House rules as listed on our Airbnb listing.
Please help keep our property pristine by NOT wearing your shoes in the cabin. No parties or gatherings allowed. We DO NOT allow PETS and No SMOKING inside or under the covers patio.

(2) Neighbors - you'll enjoy quite a bit of privacy, but we do have a neighbor on one side.

(3) Heat/AC- We have a mini split in the cabin. The controller to that is a remote on the right side of the wall when you walk in the door. Feel free to adjust the temperature to your liking. We have a box fan for use inside the white armoire and we have 3 small fans in the loft. We also have 2 ceiling fans under the porch area.

(4) Firewood - the Marathon & Wesco in town sell wood but you may find it cheaper for sale along the roadside.
We have Adirondack chairs around the fire pit for you to enjoy. We have a fire torch and may have some cardboard/newspaper there to make fire starting earlier. Please refrain from using our personal wood.

(5) Breeo Fire pit- We have a smokeless fire pit in the middle of our concrete sitting area. Please do not burn any plastic or trash in the ring. We have a tin bucket with a small shovel to remove ash out of the fire pit, if you’d like. Fire starting can be easier if the ash is removed. But not necessary. We have a basket of outdoor towels to dry the chair around the fire if they happened to be wet. If you use one, please hang it to dry on one of the hooks under the patio. All those items are located under the covered patio. Please place the tin lid on fire pit AFTER IT HAS COOLED. If it’s hot, it will melt the lid. The breeo fire pit burns best if you stack the wood log cabin style.

(6) Kitchen-We have a full kitchen with dishes, pots, pans, wine glasses and Keurig coffee maker. We do offer caffeinated and decaf K cups along with some tea. There may or may not be sugar and dry cream available. We also have a bunch of spices and cooking spray you’re welcome to use. We have several pots and pans, utensils and other basic supplies. We provide all linens, shower towels(no beach towels), shampoo, conditioner, q-tips, flossers, dish soap, paper products to get you started, cleaning supplies, and some laundry necessities.

(7) Our TAP WATER is safe to drink right out of the faucet. It’s very cold and refreshing.

(8) Blackstone grill-It’s under the porch patio. Please be aware of what you put next to it because it gets very hot and will melt plastic dishes or anything setting too close. We have a small kitchen island cart on the patio too. It’s covered but feel free to remove the cover when using. The blackstone cooking utensil should be located in the lower part of the cart in a plastic tote. Please clean the grill after each use. There is a squirt bottle of water along with a squirt bottle of oil. The water is for cleaning the Blackstone and the oil is for cooking. We do have an electric griddle under the cabinet next to the refrigerator in the cabin if you’d prefer to use that over the blackstone grill.

(9)We have Wi-fi, an Amazon Alexa for music, smart tv with a Roku.

(10) Games- We have games located in the white armoire cabinet and in the bottom two drawers. Feel free to use any of them during your stay. You may also use that cabinet to store some of your luggage or items.

Come stay at this no frills rustic cabin. You are in the middle of the woods on this property of over 13 acres, but are less than 15 minutes from downtown Baldwin. Close to Big Star Lake, beach access, and the public boat launch. Near multiple access points to the Pere Marquette River.
In the winter warm up around the wood stove after snowmobiling. In the summer cool off in the AC after visiting the beach.
Relax around the fire pit and enjoy the 6 burner gas grill.

The property has an eclectic look, there are a few boats stored on the property and some outbuildings/sheds- lots of room to roam around or drive your 4 wheeler! One bedroom is downstairs next to the woodstove/family room, two bedrooms and the loft are upstairs on the "main floor" with the kitchen and bathroom.

Guests have access to almost the whole cabin! There are a few closets that are off limits for our storage, and one room that is under renovation (not pictured in listing).

Service in our area is very patchy!! We don't get good cell reception at the cabin, and have satellite internet Wifi. Wifi signal is strong enough for Netflix on the TV, and for your phones to work off of for basics- may not work for streaming on devices. Very much an unplugged retreat!

"Sailing" is roughly 400 square feet with an open floor plan and sleeps 6, between the double bed, bunk beds, and sofa sleeper. The living room features a sofa, chairs, and flat screen smart tv. The cabin has an updated bath and a fully equipped kitchen. The rental also provides access to paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards, as available. The cabin sits on a couple of wooded acres on the lake, providing waterfront and woods with plenty to do.

The space
The log cabin is an efficiency style cabin with an open floor plan. It includes a full kitchen and bathroom with a shower. Each cabin has a designated parking spot and access to the property amenities, including paddle boats, kayaks, a playground, fire pit, and lawn games.

Guest access
There is an open community area between the cabins and stairs down to the dock and water. The community area has a playground, fire pit, and lawn games, while the water has a dock, paddle boat, kayaks, and paddle boards. Swimming is encouraged, and for the stronger swimmers there is a platform about 20 years off the end of the dock.

Access is through the front door by a WiFi enabled lock. A code will be provided to access the cottage. To unlock the door, enter the code and wait for the lock to turn. To lock the door, either turn the thumb turn from the the inside or from outside hit the "lock" button and double check the lock has turned. Only use the deadbolt. NEVER LOCK THE DOOR HANDLE. You will be locked out of the cottage if you use the lock on the door handle.

🚘 🏍 The front of the cabin faces a road that can be busy with fast traffic. Please keep children and dogs away from the road at all times! ATVs and motorcycles are very common in this area. (If you are seeking a more secluded and quiet space, we recommend booking at either of our other waterfront properties: Kramer Kabin or Riverfront Retreat.)

🛏We do NOT recommend using the bunk house as a living/sleeping space when outside temperature is 60 degrees or below. It has no AC and just a small space heater for heating. The cabin itself can sleep up to 6 by using the king bed, pull-out couch, two chairs and ottoman that fold out to a bed. We want everyone to be safe and comfortable!

🛶🏖 The back of the cabin is just a few feet from the lake (open water), so if you have curious dogs or children, adult supervision is critical– safety first, always.
The lake is private for those living on it, and as a guest you are welcome to swim and fish in the lake and use the dock and boats provided at our property. Some prefer to wear water shoes while others prefer to feel the sand between their toes.
If you would like a large public beach, check out Ludington State Park Beach or Kenwood Park & Beach in Cadillac. There is also a smaller public beach just 3 miles away from the cabin at Idlewild Beach.

🐕 We love dogs! Dogs MUST be kept on a leash or tie-out anytime they are outdoors. Please pick up all pet waste promptly so as not to attract unwanted critters.

🚽 Due to the septic system, only bodily waste and toilet paper should be flushed. Feminine products and even "flushable" wipes must be put in the trash can and NOT in the toilet.

♨️ For heating and cooling the main cabin, we have a wall mini-split unit, two electric wall heaters, electric fireplace inside the stone fireplace, a radiator space heater, and a heater in the bathroom (knob on far right).
** Please note that nothing should EVER be burned inside the stone fireplace nor anywhere inside the cabin.**

🍳For your safety, please only use the stove, oven, washer, and dryer when someone is present in the home throughout entire cycle of the appliance. Do not leave unattended.

🐶🧩To help us keep our rates reasonable and not have to charge extra cleaning fees, please do lot let animals on the furniture unless a couch cover or a blanket is in place, and please keep the bunkhouse/game room organized and tidy.

🪵🔥 Firewood for the outdoor firepit is not provided, but is available for purchase in town 1 mile away. Pinecones and twigs found throughout the property are also great for burning in the firepit.

🔊 For the safety and security of our guests, we do have external security cameras that are on for audio and video.

The Cabin is a rare, ultra clean, modern construction home in Baldwin. Suited for families, hunters and fishermen, friends getaway, or couples looking to unwind. The Cabin has it all. The best of both worlds as the Cabin is also a short drive to many local amenities and outdoor adventures.

The cabin sleeps up to 6 people, with 4 queen beds and 2 twin beds.
The Loft is a huge hit with the kids!
The Main and second bedroom have 1 queen bed each, and there are 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds in the in the Loft.
The property is long and narrow 10 acres, with a trail leading in back if you care to explore. Lots of wildlife if you are quiet!

The whole house and property is free to roam to Guests, excluding the utility closet. The 10 acre property extends diagonally to the northwest following a small trail. There are lots of deer on the property, shed hunting opportunity. Also model mushrooms can be found in the spring for those with a keen eye. (Please be respectful of the neighboring properties and abide by any posted restrictions)

There is a turnaround for those with small trailers.

Please do your best to remove shoes at the door. We want to keep the warm feeling the high pile carpet provides by keeping it clean.

For you Fishermen and Women! PLEASE do not dispose of fish waste in the garbage or in any sinks.
Please clean fish outside, securely bag any fish waste, and place it in the freezer. Please take care to avoid leaks! (Fish cleaning Station planned for the future!)
On the last day of your stay, please dispose of the frozen remains with the rest of your trash.

Summer FUN awaits!! Located just ½ mile from the Lake Michigan shoreline, 7 miles from Pentwater, and 5 miles from Silver Lake Sand Dunes, you'll find our cozy cabin situated on a ½ acre lot. Our cabin offers 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with laundry, a full kitchen, and a living room complete with a smart tv. This Wi-Fi equipped cabin provides a getaway for those looking to enjoy beach life, dune fun, ORV trails, local wineries, golf, bike, or work remotely in a simple setting.

The space
Our cabin offers a queen sized bed in each bedroom. Although small, at just 715 square feet, you’ll have enough space to get comfortable and unwind after a fun-filled day outside. We have plenty of yard space to enjoy outdoor games and a lovely deck to read a book, have a drink, or simply relax. We have electric baseboard heating units in each room as well as a mini-split unit that offers additional heat or air conditioning so you are sure to be comfortable any time of year.

Guests will be able to enjoy the full living spaces of the cabin as well as the exterior property. The Lake Michigan shoreline is just ½ mile down the road and can be accessed at the Cedar Point County Park or at our private, deeded access point. There are a few parking spaces at the park as well as 60 new steps to access the beach. This area will take you to the county beach, however, we have deeded beach access just south of the county park. Please know that dogs are allowed on the beach, if leashed, and you may certainly walk for miles in either direction.

We offer contact-less check in and check out procedures. Although we will not likely be available in person, you may reach us via the Airbnb listing or by phone after booking, if anything should arise.

Cozy Cove Cabins are a historic part of Pentwater, renovated in 2018. This log cabin sleeps 8 and is roughly 600 square feet with an open floor plan. The main sleeping area sleeps 2 on a double bed, with a sofa sleeper (2) and two sets of bunk beds (4). The living room is fully furnished with a sofa, chairs, and flat screen smart tv. The cabin has a bath and fully equipped kitchen. The rental includes paddle boats, kayaks and paddle boards. The cabin sits on a couple of wooded acres on the lake.

The space
The log cabin is an efficiency style cabin with an open floor plan. It includes a full kitchen and bathroom with a shower. Each cabin has a designated parking spot and access to the property amenities, including paddle boats, kayaks, a playground, fire pit, and lawn games.

Guest access
There is an open community area between the cabins and stairs down to the dock and water. The community area has a playground, fire pit, and lawn games, while the water has a dock, paddle boat, kayaks, and paddle boards. Swimming is encouraged, and for the stronger swimmers there is a platform about 20 years off the end of the dock.

Our property is directly across the street from the private access of Upper Silver Lake. It is great for fishing, swimming, or having a campfire at night. Upper Silver Lake is a private all sports lake so only residents or rental guests are allowed. It is a great community that offers some privacy, but is only minutes away from downtown Silver Lake and all the action. In Silver Lake there are shops, restaurants, family fun like mini golf and bumper cars and the sand dunes of course. We are also only a few miles from lake Michigan and Little Point Sable. And if you want to explore even further Pentwater is another fun town only 15 minutes away.

Our 3 bedroom 1.5 bath cabin in Baldwin is a fantastic space for guests to unwind, sit around a fire or spend time with family and friends. Located in the chain of Lakes this is an outdoor enthusiast paradise. Whether you are into golf, fishing, skiing, hiking, water sports, or just relaxation. With over 150 Lakes, 400 mi of streams, and 17 Rivers. And over 300 miles of ORV, ATV, and groomed snowmobile trails, there is something for everyone in Baldwin!

The space
Our Newly renovated cabin sits on 2 acres. With a big yard it is the perfect spot to park trailers or boats with a easy pull through driveway. Located on a wooded lot, it I a great spot to sit around a fire (1 Bundle of wood will be provided) to unwind and spend time with family and friends.
To ensure your time is spend relaxing, and having fun, you will enter a fully stocked cabin. The living room has a sectional along with a couch table and oversize bean bag chair for plenty of seating, and a 55 inch smart tv for all your streaming needs. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you will need for cooking. The dining room table has seating for 8, along with 3 seats at the island.
There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. There is a spacious full bathroom with a shower and tub along with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There is also a half bath to help with larger groups. Both bathrooms have blowdryers.
The first bedroom has 4 XL twin bunk beds, and a 35 inch smart tv. Along with all the games in the corner of the room for adults and children

Steps from restaurants and short driving distance from the sand dunes and area attractions. . This is a newly build cabin has high end features and appliances. It has a large kitchen, cedar ceiling, granite counter tops, stone fireplace and tasteful décor.

Just 30 miles outside of Ludington. The TVs have been replaced with new Fire TVs for the 2024 season.

The location is across the street from Portage Lake and includes a beach and dock area. This is a wonderful swimming area. If you bring a boat there is no additional charge to use the dock. The finest Lake Michigan Dunes and Sandy Beaches are just a 1/2 block way and while it is Public access the usage is still minimal! Our beaches are the best kept Secret in the Great Lakes!. The Cabin is a small and rustic Log Cabin built in the 1940’s and decorated in an Arts & Crafts style.

While you have the entire house to yourself during your stay (not sharing with anyone else), you will have access ONLY to the UPPER LEVEL (1400 spacious sq ft).

You will enter through the front door of the Lower Level of the house. Inside is a large entryway and stairs that lead to the Upper Level. A ramp at the back of the house provides ease for those who have difficulty with stairs.

With all the windows, you may feel you are in a lovely treehouse! Enjoy an open floor plan (great room, dining area, kitchen), 3 separate bedrooms, and one full bath. Light-filled, sparkling clean, clutter-free and comfortable.

Ceiling fans (in each bedroom and 2 in the great room), many windows, and shade from the mature trees keep the house typically at a comfortable temperature during warmer months.

The Ludington Hermitage was built as a place to "retreat." It is a lovely space for contemplative practices (try mindful walking on mossy paths or in the labyrinth, prayer/meditation in the woods or on the decks, nature photography). Many quiet and peaceful spots for reading, writing, yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong and lots of room to simply breathe and be.

Kitchen extras: classic-style drip coffee maker, electric hot water kettle, toaster, hand mixer, blender, slow cooker, and all the essentials to cook and serve your own meals if you choose.

You may want to bring your comfy slippers, house shoes, or indoor flip-flops. To keep floors clean and comfortable for you, we kindly request guests remove shoes while in the house.

The house is smoke-free (if you smoke outdoors, please place cigarette butts in designated containers). And while we do love pets, this house and property are pet-free please.

We invite you to enjoy "unplugged" time (no TV and no WiFi - however cell phone signal is strong in the area). Take time to really connect (with nature, with others, with your own inner self) without distractions.

Have you wondered how often bedspreads are actually washed at other spaces you have stayed? NO WORRIES here. Bedspreads are laundered after EVERY guest.

To ensure you get settled in and have a great start to your stay with us, we have provided an initial supply of paper goods (toilet paper, tissues, paper towels); if these are not enough for your entire stay you may need to purchase additional supplies or bring some along. Stores are nearby.

Additional items you may want to bring: beach towels, sun block, camp/beach chairs, insect repellent, flashlight with extra batteries (starry starry nights!).

Please note: we understand that being at the beach may require sunblock and walking in the woods may require insect repellent (both of which can be oily). A quick shower at the end of the day can help you from incurring a charge.

Also, please NO HAIR DYING while you are our guests. If this rule is disregarded, any damage will result in additional fee.
