- "The cabin is great, close to fishing, tons of beds. Highly recommend " - "Was absolutely amazing, my entire party admired the cabin! " - "The cabin was exactly as described--clean, spacious, and comfortable. The host was very responsive both before our stay and during, which was appreciated. Cell service was spotty (not the host's fault), so just something to be aware of as there is no wifi/internet available as listed in the description. I was glad I brought a few extra fans, especially on the hotter 90F days, to help keep the dogs cool (I received approval from the host prior to bringing both dogs). Overall, I had a great time and found the place easy to locate. Would recommend"

The Wolf Lake Lodge is a gorgeous, recently constructed cabin, located 1 mile from beautiful Wolf Lake, in Lake County. We are conveniently located 7 miles north of Baldwin Michigan right off of N M-37. The Wolf Lake Lodge is situated in the heart of the Manistee National Forest on 5 acres and borders thousands of acres of National Forest in Lake County, without a neighbor in sight. Lake County consists of nearly 200,000 acres of public land -- almost half of the county. With 156 lakes, and 46 trout streams, four major rivers, and over 300 miles of ORV & ATV trails and over 750 miles of groomed connecting snowmobile trails, it's a sportsperson's and trail rider's paradise. Plus, if you are street legal, you can ride your ATV -ORV and Snowmobiles right from the cabin to the Little O which is 75 yards down the road. If you don't have an ATV or Snowmobile, no problem, there are places nearby that rent them out.
World Class Fishing for Trout, Salmon and Steelhead, in the Pere Marquette River, Pine River, Big Manistee River and Little Manistee Rivers. Great pan fishing in most of the 156 lakes. Fantastic Cross Country Skiing and Mountain Biking are just minutes away on the North Country National Scenic Trails and Big M Trail or just ride your bike around Wolf Lake on the 4 mile paved road. Deer out number people 4 to 1 and Lake County has the largest population of wild turkeys in the state. Wolf Lake is so pure that there are two pairs of Bald Eagles, and three sets of Loon families, and countless numbers of ducks and geese that live on the lake all summer long.
To make sure your visit is as enjoyable as possible, the lodge is completely furnished, fully stocked, and also has WiFi. We take great pride in keeping our place very clean and comfortable. When you walk in, you’ll love the pine interior and soaring vaulted ceilings. Want to pack light? No problem, there is also a washer and dryer on sight. There are 2 well appointed bedrooms on the main level, each with a comfortable queen bed. Upstairs, the loft is very spacious and has another comfortable queen bed and 2 comfy twin beds. The living room flat screen has Direct TV for your enjoyment. There is one very clean and spacious bathroom and also a dedicated laundry room. Outside there is a huge covered porch to relax on and also a 20 by 20 pole barn available for use (just ask us when you book). Charcoal grill and fire pit for family fun.

- "This cabin is a perfect home base for up north adventures! The North Country Trail is very close for hiking and biking, and when we weren't doing that, we were relaxing at the cabin. It's beautiful inside, the beds and furniture are all very comfy and everything was nice and clean and new. We loved all the outdoor seating - the picnic table just outside the kitchen gets the morning sun, the covered porch at the front of the house gets the evening sun, and the fire pit was the perfect way to end every day. Highly recommended!"

- "Nice cabin, comfortable for a family. Really enjoy the river, great for trout fishing." - "I wanted to find somewhere for my family for a quick getaway. I came across this listing and was very intrigued with the location and access points. Before we arrived, the owners were amazing with the communication. They told us all about the good fishing spots because I had told them my boys were excited to fish. When we got there the cabin was exactly like what was listed. They even put a swing up before we got there for my little one! The property was beautiful, it had a little bit of something for everyone. We enjoyed a nice night by the bonfire and my kid's played basketball. Overall, we had an amazing experience. We are already excited to book again next year."

- "Jordo’s place was great! My wife and I wanted to get away for a few days with our dog and 1 year old and each one of us really enjoyed our time! The cabin feels very safe and secluded. We enjoyed the little walking trails around the property and loved sitting around the fire pit. We did not check out the nearby beach because it was not dog friendly but have read wonderful things about it from other reviews. The place was also very clean and well stocked with essentials for daily living. Would love to stay again in the future!"

- "We had an amazing stay everything we needed was already there" - "The cabin was very nice. The bedrooms were large . The only thing we wished it had was 2 bathrooms. Even if 1 was a half bath. When 4 ppl wake up all at the same time in the middle of the night racing to the bathroom to go potty. Lol. That wasn't fun. Lol. But other than that it was a very nice stay. The river was beautiful to sit by and watch the water flow over the rocks ."

"We enjoyed the peacefulness of this stay at Cabin 4. The high, large, full windows all along the front of the home gave a beautiful view of soaring trees and river. The caretaker, Tim, was very helpful.. He was very friendly and told us about the property, the history of it and much more. The owner of the property was at the lodge and also was very friendly. We explored the woods in the area. It was beautiful. We didn't hear anyone else and we enjoyed this quietness to hear only nature and the river. There were cabins much further down the road; they were not visible. A group was at Cabin 2, but we didn't hear them at all. This is a special spot. Thank you for sharing it with us"

Simple Lyfe Yurt — DBA Simple Lyfe LLC
- "We loved staying in the yurt. It was quiet, peaceful, spotless and private." - "I hate to give a five star summary because it means more bookings and less availability. But here is the honest truth. First and foremost it is CLEAN! It is NOT the base camp for the "guys" headed up north to see how many cases of beer they can drink. It is a great location for the wife and kids, especially if the wife has a dislike for the typical "cabin" the guys are used to staying in for the weekend salmon fishing trip. There are things I would definitely change about the property but that is personal preference. The yurt is laid out nicely with little privacy but more than a hotel room. The Kitchen has everything you need with many minor details included (zip lock bags, spice rack, coffee, etc.). The bathroom is very nicely finished but is a bit of a walk away from the yurt, not too far but enough that in the rain it is an imposition. Again, very CLEAN. I did not feel that I needed dollar store flip flops in order to shower. The setting is very quiet with the exception of the neighbors rooster who lets you know that 6:30 a.m. has arrived yet again. In short it was a perfect adventure. One that the wife and our kids hope to make a yearly memory if not more frequently. So anyone reading this, please go elsewhere so you don't make it more difficult for me... LOL, but seriously"
