Relax in this well appointed two bedroom, two bath home tucked in the Boreal Forest on the Lake Michigan shore in the heart of the quiet side of Door County. The home is located about 6 miles (10 minutes) from Baileys Harbor, 9 miles (15 minutes) from Sister Bay or Ephraim and 14 miles (20 minutes) from Fish Creek. The home is conveniently located near many restaurants, shops, hiking trails, parks and other local attractions.

Outside, enjoy the view from the benches or hammocks along the shoreline, or while sitting on the large deck at the front of the house. Or maybe roast marshmallows around the campfire. With a little luck, you might see a pelican, a bald eagle, a pileated woodpecker, or a seagull dive for a fish. A two-person kayak and two paddle boards are included to explore the lake. If you just want to cool off in the lake, make sure to bring your water shoes; the bedrock beach is rocky.

The open great room features large patio doors and windows looking out to the Cana Island lighthouse and Lake Michigan. The patio doors open onto a large deck bordering the front of the home. On cool nights, enjoy the wood burning fireplace too! The couch, oversized chair and other seating provide ample seating for conversation or watching a movie on the 55" flat screen TV with a variety of streaming services or the Blu-Ray player. The couch and oversized chair convert to a queen and single bed if you need. These pullout beds are comfortable - really; no springs or support bars to stick into your back! There is a large cabinet that holds a wide selection of games, puzzles, movies, and books.

Adjoining the great room is the dining area with a table seating six comfortably.

The dining area opens into a fully equipped kitchen; electric oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and all the equipment you might need. A charcoal grill is available for barbecuing as well (charcoal and lighter fluid supplied).

Two bedrooms. Each with a queen bed and ample storage in the built-in closet storage system. The beds have Casper mattresses. Pillows and bedding are supplied.

Brand new house on Lake Michigan nestled in a cedar forest with great views of Cana Island from the shore.

Set in a beautiful wooded lot this unique 2,026 sq ft home will make you feel welcome. With covered decks, screen porch, natural wood burning stone fireplace with sunken seating, and accents of natural cedar with rustic charm and elegance.

Two bedrooms: One downstairs with queen bed and private deck looking out to Lake Michigan. The second upstairs with a king size bed. The first floor bedroom opens onto a private deck with great views of Lake Michigan.

The great room has huge picture windows looking out to the lake and a Panoramic door leading from the great room into the covered screen deck. A very comfortable king size sofa sleeper and armchairs are located in the great room to both take advantage of the view and enjoy the TV and BluRay player. There is also a game table in this room, a variety of board games, movies and books are available for your use. The great room also has a wood-burning fireplace with sunken seating area.

Overlooking the great room is a loft with a full size sofa-sleeper and seating looking out the front windows to the lake. Great place to sit, relax and read a book.

Off the great room is a dining room with table seating 8. The dining room also opens up to the screened deck area.

The kitchen is full equipped: Refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker, Gas range and electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. Coffee maker and other common small appliances are provided. The cabinet is stocked with typical staple items for your use.

- "We had a wonderful week at Wild Cedars. This was our first time to stay on the Lake Michigan side of the peninsula and everyone loved it. Wild Cedars was the perfect house and location for our multi-generational group-- ages 17-74. In addition to a beautiful decor, the house is fully equipped and offered all the supplies that we needed for our week there. We did most of our own cooking and were delighted to find pots & pans, every imaginable kitchen tool, serving dishes, dinnerware and even basic seasonings in the cupboards. The screen porch was my favorite place to linger. With a view of the lake through the trees and breezes off the water it was a perfect read, rest and talk with family members. I especially appreciated Steve's quick responses to all of my questions prior to our stay and during. I couldn't have asked for quicker or more clear responses - - thank you. Everyone in our group is very sorry that Wild Cedars is not available next year when we are - - we would return in a heartbeat!"

This lovely Door County cabin is a beautiful home located in the town of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. It sits on 3-1/2 wooded acres in a secluded, but not remote location. The entire cabin is available to our guests. There are two bedrooms, with very comfortable queen sized beds. The skylight and large windows in the cabin means that the space is always full of sunlight. We have a lovely, huge firepit on the property for your use and there is a flame view propane stove in the living room for those cool evenings. The cabin has central heating and central air conditioning. We are pet friendly. We want guests to be aware that this is a heavily wooded location -- so lovely and private. But there are critters in the woods -- we see deer very often. That means there is a possibility you may have squirrels or other small critters walking across the roof or yard. We have a company called Mosquito Squad spray the acreage with pet and people friendly spray to keep mosquito and tick populations down -- and our guests tell us that it works very well!

I have a habit of over adventuring, so my wife was always happy there wasn’t a ridiculous drive at the end of a long day. :-) All the beaches, state parks, and wineries just a short drive away. Cozy Private Cottage Situated on a Rock Bluff
Baileys on the Rocks "Rockledge" Cottage is a private cottage located on a small rock bluff in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin in beautiful Door County. Situated on a wooded lot and directly across the street from Lake Michigan, you'll find it hard to believe you are in the village of Baileys Harbor and within walking distance of its popular beaches, harbor, restaurants and quaint shops.
The cottage was built in 1939 and is 1 story (684 sq ft), with the bathroom and both bedrooms are on the main level. 1 bedroom features a queen sized bed while the other bedroom has a set of twin beds. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo. This charming cottage sits atop the limestone bluff with partial water views and a quaint screened porch.
Guests have full access to the cottage. The cottage is on a shared lot with another cottage, and while both cottages have their own separate outdoor space, we ask that you be respectful of the guests occupying the other cottage.

There are dozens of beaches and five of Wisconsin’s expansive and beautifully maintained state parks where you can swim, hike, bike, fish, or participate in a variety of water sports and other fun outdoor activities. The roads throughout Door County are great for bicycle rides. If your stay coincides with cherry picking (mid-July) or apple picking (fall), you will be in for a treat! Golf is less than 10 minutes away either at Maxwelton Braes in Baileys Harbor or at The Orchards in Egg Harbor. . In the winter months the possibilities are many: Snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and fat tire biking.
