Pinecone retreat is a newly built cabin in 2008. It is in a great resort, Spiderlake resort. We are on a chain of 5 lakes. The cabin has a great view to the water and just down the hill is your dock. A little further over are 2 more docks and a swimming area.

This cabin is in a great recreational area. There are many other lakes nearby. Snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter and ATV riding in the summer.

Just 5 miles away is Birchwood with many restaurants and shopping. There is also Doolitle park a great place for the kids to play. Just Rite on Main is a great shopping experience enjoyed year round.

Pinecone retreat is also setup for crafters. We have tables and chairs and a mini kitchen. Scrapbookers love to come here for a peaceful place to work on their projects.

It was a great location for seeing a lot of Northern Wisconsin, and about 2 hours to MSP. For security purposes, there is one security camera facing the driveway to the cottage.

This quiet cabin can provide a relaxing getaway or a memorable family vacation. We rent Friday to Friday in the summer months and two night minimum in the fall, winter, and spring. We are located right on Ten Mile Lake in Chetek WI. Inside you will find an all stone gas fireplace and pine siding just right for a northwoods retreat. We have a full kitchen and bathroom. There is a dining area and a couch to relax on and watch the water or the fire. The bedroom on the main floor has a queen size bed and upstairs you will find a sizable loft with a TV/VCR and a futon. Pull the shades for a cozy romantic evening or let the sun shine in and enjoy the sceenery. Outside there is a semi-private yard, fire pit, and picnic table for each of the two sides of the cabin. There is also a shared dock with a pontoon that is available for rent, and a play structure with a sandbox.

The Whitetail Cabin is a secluded, yet easily accessible property that is spacious both inside and out. Inside, Aspen beams and decor provide a true Northwoods appeal with comfort and style, while outside is a peaceful and relaxing country view. Just 3 miles North there are thousands of acres of public land open to hunters and hikers. 20 minutes west are the Blue Hills and Christy Mountain ski resort with both downhill and cross-country skiing. There are excellent trout streams here as well. The Thornapple River is almost a stones throw away from the cabin and is excellent for a kayak or canoe float with great bass and musky fishing. The big rivers, the Flambeau and Chippewa, are just 5 and 15 minutes drive. They both are world class rivers for musky, bass, pike and walleye fishing as well as tubing which is very popular here. Lakes are too numerous and varied for description but offer excellent fishing, swimming and watersports.
Fall brings deer, bear, duck and grouse seasons as well as spectacular fall colors. It is possibly the finest season to visit northern Wisconsin.
In winter, Rusk County offers many miles of well groomed snowmobile trails with the trail passing right by the cabin. You can step right out of the cabin and on to your sled! There is room for parking several trucks and trailers so large groups are welcome.
In addition to the multitude of woods and water sports, all summer long there are county fairs, festivals, rodeos, logging competition, dirt track racing, casinos and so much more all in easy driving distance.

Very clean/well cared for mini-lake home with all the comforts of home. Beautiful views of Bashaw Lake, a smaller lake perfect for swimming/fishing/boating. Private beach area with swimming dock, boat dock & firepit. 2 Bedroom with additional sleeping in lower level (pull out sofa) and bunk house (finished 3rd stall of garage) with bunk bed. The Woodland Suite is located on our 10 acre property on Spooner Lake. The Suite is a ground level apartment (300 sf) that is part of our garage/guest building. The views are of tamarack marsh, pine and oak woods, and the lake. It is a three room retreat for couples, solo adventurers, families with kids, and dogs. The Suite is not a good fit for four (4) adults.

The space
The Woodland Suite is a ground level apartment (300sf) on the North end of our garage/guest building (left side when facing the garage). Access by keycode lock.
The kitchenette includes a microwave oven, Cuisinart hotplate, fridge/freezer, electric coffee maker and cooking gear. Weber kettle grill outside.
The Suite has two rooms plus a full bath.
If you wish to have more space, search on "Black Dog Lakeview Loft"., which is double the size of the Woodland Suite.
Families/groups can book both the Woodland Suite and our upper level Knotty Pine Loft, to sleep up to 6-8 guests and have two 2 baths, full kitchen and dining table seating 6. A crib and high chair are available.

The house was built after a severe storm turned the pasture woodlands into a surplus of beautiful hardwood which was used to make the flooring and trim throughout the house. The owner's fondness for native geology is apparent throughout the property in the rock garden, pyramids, arches and sculptures.

The Log Cabin Room features custom wood paneling and decor to match, access to the shared deck and a private bathroom.

Guest access
The large living and dining room, commercial kitchen and downstairs bar and game room make for a memorable hang out rain or shine. Three levels of decks are accessible from all of the bedrooms, overlooking a pond with a picnic area and nearby gazebo (complete with cozy hammock) and rustic 18-hole mini golf course.

I live 300 yards from the inn so can be around to help or answer questions. I rise and set with the sun so late night inquiries will be responded to in the morning.

This unit is located on the first floor of a multi-unit Victorian home just one house away from the park and the lake. You can see the lake from every room in this unit. There is a lovely deck on the front to sit and enjoy the sunrise over the lake. The house is located just off Main St and within walking distance to gas stations, restaurants, the laundromat, and more.

Enjoy this large, modern RV on a lakeside spot. This 40 foot long destination style RV makes for the perfect get away. The main bedroom features a king size bed. The large, open living area has a recliner and sofa. The large kitchen has a full size refrigerator and offers you a view of the lake from the large front windows. This beautiful, recently renovated home is out in the country down a dead-end road, but still only a few miles from the town of Ladysmith. It is about a mile from a little county park on the Dairyland Reservoir, only a few miles from the local golf course, and just down the road from hopping on the snowmobile trail in the winter. There is a boat landing at the park for summer and access to ice fishing in the winter. We hope to earn 5*s and look forward to hosting you!

The space
A cute little house with three bedrooms and one bathroom. Main bedroom and bathroom are both on the lower level with two more bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom has a regular tub/shower combination. There is a basement, but it is unfinished, so we would prefer guests spend their time on the main two levels. There is a fire pit out back that you are welcome to use.

This home does now share a driveway with another home that is down a hill.

Summertime: There is not central air conditioning in the home, but there is an individual air conditioner in each bedroom.

Our home is one of the many cottages in Chetek built during the depression. As you enter, the kitchen and dining area will be on your right. This was the size of the original home! It has since been added on to many times.
Our house has one bedroom with a queen bed and a walk-in closet. We also have a queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room with curtains for privacy.
There is a full bath next to the bedroom.
Though our home is small, it offers a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a washer and dryer.
If you are here for work, we have a desk in the living room, or if you're just wanting to relax- enjoy the fireplace. There are books on the book cases just waiting for their pages to be turned and games to be played!
We have a private fenced in backyard. Relax in the hammock lounge under the maple tree or sit by the fire.
