- "This place was gorgeous and not far from downtown Two Harbors. I do have a couple of tips: - Verizon and AT&T have no service (we are talking SOS only) so take a screen shot of the address, WiFi and password and maybe even the code to get in, because you won’t be able to look it up. - The mattresses are a very firm foam mattress. Great for some, but not everyone. - The house is gorgeous and clean but a lot of white, which made me a little anxious with the kids that they would make it not so white. Overall it was gorgeous, great views of the woods with some of Lake Superior through the trees. The stars at night are stunning. Has everything you need. A fire pit for s’mores would have been nice but you can make do. Overall we would stay again."

- "A mazing!" - "We picked this property because of the amazing views and it didn’t disappoint!!! It was nice to have a ranch since our elderly dog came with. She loved sitting out on the deck in her dog bed sunning herself. The house was very clean and relaxing. We didn’t need to contact the owners because everything was already communicated. First time to the area and would highly recommend this property!!!" - "We stayed at Blue Stone Bluff for our 1st trip to the North Shore. The house was wonderful! The master bedroom has a HUGE closet and jacuzzi tub. I loved having plenty of space to unpack. The 2nd bedroom is small with little storage, but it worked just fine for us. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots/pans, utensils, and many kitchen staples such as cooking spray, salt/pepper/ coffee, other spices, etc. We often found flies and fruit flies in the kitchen. I understand bugs are common in the North Shore and this really didn't bother us, but I can see some people being upset about the bugs. We were diligent about keeping the doors or screens closed and keeping all food sealed. We also would have liked to have air conditioning in this house. I'm sure that's not a common feature in northern MN and I knew it was not available. The windows don't circulate well and all the doors/windows are easily accessed from the ground floor. We're from a big city and don't feel safe leaving doors/windows open at night or while we're gone. There were 2 fans provided that helped, but the house was warmer than I'd prefer. I'm used to A/C, so this may be no problem for others. There is a good size piece of yard for a dog. I couldn't see that in the pics, so I was pleasantly surprised. There is also a lovely fire pit area. Parking was easy. Overall we were very happy with this house and would highly recommend it for the layout, views, and cleanliness."

This is our smaller family cabin, which is has been decorated lodge style with its stone fireplace and sun room abutting the woods and its view of Lake Superior which is just yards away. It is a great retreat/special occasion spot which we rent to only one or two people at a time.

It has an open concept kitchen, dining, living room which lead to the sun room and large deck overlooking the woods and lake. Head to the rocky shore (There are steps down to the shore about 100 feet the left as you come down the steps from the deck) for skipping stones on the lake, a fire in the fire pit, an early morning sunrise over the lake or evening cocktails on the shoreline. We have left folding chairs for you to take down to the shore.

The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials. We have also left some warm jackets in the closet in case the wind takes a surprise shift and a warm day turns cool.

The is an end unit in The Lakehomes on Superior with no one above or below you. The property has nearly 1/2 mile of shoreline and walking trails on the property. There is a full service restaurant adjacent to the lake homes overlooking the lake shore.

Two Harbors is a mile away with restaurants, an expansive waterfront with hiking trails and lighthouse. There is also a nice little museum. There are 6 state parks as you continue driving north which provide wonderful hiking and beautiful views of the Lake and rivers.

There is an outdoor pool and hot tub that are open from Memorial day to Labor day. There are also 2 tennis/pickleball courts.

Welcome to our cabin! This fully renovated cabin is perfectly located, close to the North Shore and the most amazing state parks in Minnesota. While our cabin is conveniently located for adventure, it’s also far enough away to offer the seclusion needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin sits on 20 acres of wooded bliss with ease of access for snowmobile or ATV riders as the North Shore Trail connects to the back of our property. Enjoy a quiet evening by the fire or relax in our wood burning sauna.
Located just 12 miles to Two Harbors and 13 miles to Beaver Bay, you will find many restaurants to explore and shops to take in. When you’re looking for great hiking, we are located just 12 miles to Gooseberry falls. As you continue up the shore you’ll find Split Rock Lighthouse, Tettegouche, George Crosby Manitou and Temperance River. While all of these parks offer amazing hikes and views, our favorite is Grand Portage State Park just at the border of Canada. It will take about an hour and a half to two hours to get there but well worth the drive. Then on your way back, you can stop in at all the other wonderful parks along the way.
The fall time is the best time to be at the cabin. Crisp, cool nights with little bugs make evening camp fires perfect. Be sure to look up while sitting by the fire at night to catch some amazing star gazing. Being so far from the city lights, it’s amazing what you can see at night! Perfectly situated amongst the tall pine trees, it’s perfect!
While we’re sure you’ll spend most of your time enjoying all the north shore has to offer, you’ll be pleased to know that inside, our cabin has all you’d ever need. The full kitchen is ready for you to enjoy, two bedrooms each with queen beds and a sleeper sofa with a full bed ensures you’ll have enough room to sleep everyone. The bathroom also tends to be a favorite of guests with the custom tiled shower!
Feel free to bring your ATV with easy access to the North Shore. This is a great way to see the fall colors at your own speed!

- "This cabin was a perfect place to stay for our trip to North Shore. It was 15 miles from the Lake and all the tourist attractions, and we had all the privacy and Northwoods beauty we wanted. My nephew was especially ecstatic when he found out there was Roku TV, even though he was limited on the time he could watch. The cabin is very well maintained and clean. The outbuildings are also kept up and there is a fire pit available for the the evenings. We didn't get to use the sauna, but I'm sure it would have been fun. The state trail is close by if you like to hike. Bring lots of bug spray!!! Awesome place!!"

This is a newly constructed, hand crafted log home with all the modern amenities situated on private wooded acreage overlooking Lake Superior.

Specifically, this home features coded access on the ground floor (lower level), a theater room, washer and dryer, stainless steel kitchen appliances, large two sided deck (one covered) with grill and lake views.

Although snowmobiles and ATVs must be trailered to official trails, there is a huge parking area with easy access for trailers and rigs. Close proximity to trails and other outdoor amenities make this a perfect place to relax after a day of excellent riding.

Personally coded access door is on the ground floor (lower level) underneath the deck stairs.

Optional Extra Beds and Bath: This property is listed with 2 queen bedrooms and 1 king bedroom. The county only permits us to book 6 guests (or fewer) for the property so we have made available the two queen and one king bedrooms. However, the loft area has additional private full and single bunkbeds and an additional bathroom. Since folks are booking for 6 or fewer, we have set our rates for only the 2 queens and 1 king. We have secured the beds and bath in the loft. However, if you need the additional space, we can open the loft space. But the turn (cleaning and such between guests) takes additional work and the property experiences additional wear and tear so we have to charge an additional $50 per night. If you'd like this additional space, just let us know via the message system here and we'll add it to your reservation.

There is a futon in the living room that can be used as a second bed.

Go for a walk on a beautiful country road or sit and enjoy the tranquility of the woods as you sit by your campfire!

During the times when we were not with them my husband and I could relax at the cottage and enjoy the scenery. It snowed some almost every day of our stay and it was beautiful. Thankfully our rental car had 4-wheel drive and heated seats. (Smile) The house is rustic, but we are used to that. We would rent this cottage again if we visit - especially with a 4-wheel drive and heated seats."
