Ideal for couples, girls' trips and solo travelers who is looking for an easy spot to stay while they're out adventuring across the North Shore. Or, just simply relax and enjoy your direct water access and an unbeatable view of the lake and ships passing by. We can't talk up the view and exclusive access to Rocky Point Cove and Flood Bay enough... this really is a gem of a place. Everything is Instagramable, get ready!

Enjoy a spacious newly remodeled, 792-sqft condo-style lake home right on the water. A staircase and walkway lead you down from the parking lot to your private entrance with keycode entry. As you enter, you're met with a great view beyond the living room! Private primary bedroom with queen-size bed, and closet. Newly renovated bathroom includes shower, toilet/bidet and vanity. Open floorplan kitchen with appliances and utensils for basic cooking. There's a woodburning fireplace in the large family room with large sofa (does not pull out - back cushions can be moved and adults can easily lay flat in either direction. Two twin-size self-inflating mattresses are provided also.), and seating to watch the view or the TV. Walk out to the deck to find a patio set for dining al fresco, and an electric grill. The grassy space is perfect for relaxing, lawn games and hanging out just steps away from the shoreline, or head down the rocks to dip your toes into the water, fish, drop in your kayak or paddleboard. Our cove is also gorgeous in the wintertime with the excitement of wave season against the rocks! If you like to snowmobile, there is public access near the resort next door. Snowshoers can feel free to adventure around our property, or the closest places to rent equipment is at Splitrock Lighthouse or Tettegouche State Park. Check out Erkki Harju Ski Trail nearby for cross country skiing, or maybe Lutsen mountain skiing is more of your thing (1 hour drive north). Or, just bring a book to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the view while you stay warm and cozy inside in front of the fire.

Wi-Fi is included with Smart TVs in the living room and bedroom for relaxing with your favorite streaming services. We've left some of our favorite books and games in the unit for your enjoyment. Firewood is available for purchase down the road at the gas station. There is a property manager available for emergencies, and the unit is professionally cleaned and stocked with toiletries, linens and towels between each guest reservation.

The condo is a part of a homeowner's association that covers 46 acres of wooded property and a half-mile of shoreline. Your stay includes access to all of the hiking trails, tennis courts and seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub (Memorial Day - Oct 1st). We encourage you to take full advantage of the amenities during your stay! Since they are community spaces, we ask that our guests be considerate of others on the property in terms of noise, trash and sharing community spaces. The property is next door to Superior Shores Resort (not affiliated with our listing) that includes a steakhouse (open to the public), cut across the beach at Flood Bay to walk to dinner! The beach is shared between the resort and a public state park, and we are asked to leave the amenities on the beach for resort guests. However, agate hunting on the beach is fair game and we've acquired quite the collection from our years of visiting. Bring your bucket! Our neighbor kindly installed rock fire rings around the shoreline as well as a community herb garden, just for you. Please utilize them!

One of our favorite things to do when we're in the area is to drive up and down the coastline to admire the scenery and discover spots to hike or take pictures, or just be one with nature. Get ready to pack some snacks and explore! The location is close to some quintessential North Shore spots: Splitrock Lighthouse, Betty's Pies and The Rustic Inn, Black Beach, Iona's Beach (it's pink!), Tettegouche State Park and Gooseberry Falls. Our lakehome is located across the highway from Lakeview National Golf Course. Less than a 5 minute drive into Two Harbors to watch the tankers pull in and out of the harbor; grab a snack at the 5th St Malt Shoppe on the way. Very close to a grocery store, gas stations, boutique shopping and restaurants in Two Harbors.

You'll be among some of our first guests -- we just took ownership on June 14th, 2024! We love the North Shore and recently had the opportunity to purchase this home from someone who was ready to pass on the torch of their beloved family spot. We honestly still can't believe that we lucked out with this one; the location, view and amenities are unbeatable. This unit is great for crashing after a busy day or to disconnect from reality and relax with the view, and we have many planned updates to make it our own over the coming year. Our 2025/2026 rental rates reflect the need for some aesthetic updates to the unit to make it look more current, but the view, location and amenities far eclipse any little details like tile or wallpaper. We hope that you'll come back again soon to enjoy, and often!

*There is a limit to 4 individuals staying at this property at one time per HOA rules. Although we love pets, owner is very allergic to dogs so we have to keep our space pet free. A note about the fireplace: please use caution. Depending on the wood used, it can get smoky and may leave a lingering scent, which is noticeable to some in the unit from past use.

- "Everything was great! The views of the lake are better than the pictures. There was plenty of space to relax after a long day of exploring. " - "With the list of remodeling plans, I expected the space to be somewhat dumpy, but that is not the case. The jacuzzi tub (which we didn't use) can use new grout or replacing, but it's clean and the shower works fine. The furniture is ample and comfortable (we slept on the couch the first night so we could hear the waves); the kitchen has everything you need; decor is simple and tasteful; pillows and blankets make for a cozy hang; everything is clean. Written directions and photos of landmarks made finding the unit a breeze. Leah responded promptly to a question I sent. The large stone steps down to the shore are solid and safe to haul a kayak to explore the caves rimming the bay, or to build a fire in one of the three rings. If scrambling over a rock shore isn't your jam, a stroll on the roads or paths through the woods will get you to the glorious Flood Bay beach."

This one level property features 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, as well as 2 full bathrooms . Kitchen features gas stove top, double ovens, dishwasher and large refrigerator. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your kitchen needs so you can cook gourmet meals for your group. A gas grill on the deck makes it easy to grill all of your favorite foods. - "A mazing!" - "We picked this property because of the amazing views and it didn’t disappoint!!! It was nice to have a ranch since our elderly dog came with. She loved sitting out on the deck in her dog bed sunning herself. The house was very clean and relaxing. We didn’t need to contact the owners because everything was already communicated. First time to the area and would highly recommend this property!!!" - "We stayed at Blue Stone Bluff for our 1st trip to the North Shore. The house was wonderful! The master bedroom has a HUGE closet and jacuzzi tub. I loved having plenty of space to unpack. The 2nd bedroom is small with little storage, but it worked just fine for us. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots/pans, utensils, and many kitchen staples such as cooking spray, salt/pepper/ coffee, other spices, etc. We often found flies and fruit flies in the kitchen. I understand bugs are common in the North Shore and this really didn't bother us, but I can see some people being upset about the bugs. We were diligent about keeping the doors or screens closed and keeping all food sealed. We also would have liked to have air conditioning in this house. I'm sure that's not a common feature in northern MN and I knew it was not available. The windows don't circulate well and all the doors/windows are easily accessed from the ground floor. We're from a big city and don't feel safe leaving doors/windows open at night or while we're gone. There were 2 fans provided that helped, but the house was warmer than I'd prefer. I'm used to A/C, so this may be no problem for others. There is a good size piece of yard for a dog. I couldn't see that in the pics, so I was pleasantly surprised. There is also a lovely fire pit area. Parking was easy. Overall we were very happy with this house and would highly recommend it for the layout, views, and cleanliness."

This is our smaller family cabin, which is has been decorated lodge style with its stone fireplace and sun room abutting the woods and its view of Lake Superior which is just yards away. It is a great retreat/special occasion spot which we rent to only one or two people at a time.

It has an open concept kitchen, dining, living room which lead to the sun room and large deck overlooking the woods and lake. Head to the rocky shore (There are steps down to the shore about 100 feet the left as you come down the steps from the deck) for skipping stones on the lake, a fire in the fire pit, an early morning sunrise over the lake or evening cocktails on the shoreline. We have left folding chairs for you to take down to the shore.

The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials. We have also left some warm jackets in the closet in case the wind takes a surprise shift and a warm day turns cool.

The is an end unit in The Lakehomes on Superior with no one above or below you. The property has nearly 1/2 mile of shoreline and walking trails on the property. There is a full service restaurant adjacent to the lake homes overlooking the lake shore.

Two Harbors is a mile away with restaurants, an expansive waterfront with hiking trails and lighthouse. There is also a nice little museum. There are 6 state parks as you continue driving north which provide wonderful hiking and beautiful views of the Lake and rivers.

There is an outdoor pool and hot tub that are open from Memorial day to Labor day. There are also 2 tennis/pickleball courts.

Welcome to our cabin! This fully renovated cabin is perfectly located, close to the North Shore and the most amazing state parks in Minnesota. While our cabin is conveniently located for adventure, it’s also far enough away to offer the seclusion needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin sits on 20 acres of wooded bliss with ease of access for snowmobile or ATV riders as the North Shore Trail connects to the back of our property. Enjoy a quiet evening by the fire or relax in our wood burning sauna.
Located just 12 miles to Two Harbors and 13 miles to Beaver Bay, you will find many restaurants to explore and shops to take in. When you’re looking for great hiking, we are located just 12 miles to Gooseberry falls. As you continue up the shore you’ll find Split Rock Lighthouse, Tettegouche, George Crosby Manitou and Temperance River. While all of these parks offer amazing hikes and views, our favorite is Grand Portage State Park just at the border of Canada. It will take about an hour and a half to two hours to get there but well worth the drive. Then on your way back, you can stop in at all the other wonderful parks along the way.
The fall time is the best time to be at the cabin. Crisp, cool nights with little bugs make evening camp fires perfect. Be sure to look up while sitting by the fire at night to catch some amazing star gazing. Being so far from the city lights, it’s amazing what you can see at night! Perfectly situated amongst the tall pine trees, it’s perfect!
While we’re sure you’ll spend most of your time enjoying all the north shore has to offer, you’ll be pleased to know that inside, our cabin has all you’d ever need. The full kitchen is ready for you to enjoy, two bedrooms each with queen beds and a sleeper sofa with a full bed ensures you’ll have enough room to sleep everyone. The outbuildings are also kept up and there is a fire pit available for the the evenings. We didn't get to use the sauna, but I'm sure it would have been fun. This is a newly constructed, hand crafted log home with all the modern amenities situated on private wooded acreage overlooking Lake Superior.

Specifically, this home features coded access on the ground floor (lower level), a theater room, washer and dryer, stainless steel kitchen appliances, large two sided deck (one covered) with grill and lake views.

Although snowmobiles and ATVs must be trailered to official trails, there is a huge parking area with easy access for trailers and rigs. Close proximity to trails and other outdoor amenities make this a perfect place to relax after a day of excellent riding.

The county only permits us to book 6 guests (or fewer) for the property so we have made available the two queen and one king bedrooms. However, the loft area has additional private full and single bunkbeds and an additional bathroom. Since folks are booking for 6 or fewer, we have set our rates for only the 2 queens and 1 king. We have secured the beds and bath in the loft. However, if you need the additional space, we can open the loft space. But the turn (cleaning and such between guests) takes additional work and the property experiences additional wear and tear so we have to charge an additional $50 per night. The Beaver Lodge is cleaned and disinfected between guest stays, which are usually two days or longer. Lots of wildlife and close to points of interest. Our property is remote, extremely clean, thoroughly disinfected, and ready for your stay. If you have any questions about the cabin or area, please don't hesitate to message us.

This approximate 1400 sq. ft. cabin is located on one of the largest privately owned parcels (over 700 acres) nestled in between Gooseberry State Park, Split Rock State Park, and Iona’s Beach Scientific and Natural Area. It is located less than 2 miles from Lake Superior off Highway 61, about 15-20 minutes from Two Harbors or Silver Bay. There is over 7 miles of undeveloped shoreline that include designated trout streams and tributaries that provide some of the highest quality habitat ratings of any stream in the Gooseberry River sub-watershed. There are several large beaver dams that provide habitat for a large variety of birds and wildlife. It also includes several types of wetlands, marshes, and forest communities that provide an abundance of diversity for a multitude of habitat for birds, large mammals, and aquatic wildlife. The ultra-private and secluded location is gated for ultimate privacy, quiet, and relaxation. To access all of this beauty is an extensive private network (literally miles) of periodically mowed trails between 8 and 20 feet wide for low impact use. The private trails cover a plethora of the property to access this remote wilderness for pleasure, exercise, or photography. If desired, Superior Hiking Trail access is located just 1 ½ miles down the driveway from the cabin.

Our cabin is off-grid, no internet, land line phone, or grid power, but has power supplied from solar and a generator that runs automatically when needed, which is not very often. In rare instances on the hottest summer days, the cabin has air conditioning when natural ventilation is just a little too uncomfortable. So even though it is off-grid, it has all of the basic modern amenities we enjoy; you really don’t know it is off-grid. Our cabin is completely furnished and supplied with everything you would need, other than food, to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. There is a large kitchen and living/dining area, 2 bedrooms downstairs, bathroom with shower, and a loft for a few extra guests. We have local tv and stereo for those days you just want to kick back or use on rainy days. We have a few movies and LP’s to watch and listen to. Cell phone service is available from AT&T and Verizon, but can be limited depending on the device (Apple, great service Android, limited service - both on Verizon). The kitchen has pots, pans, and an abundance of utensils available for all of your cooking and/or baking needs. We have a BBQ grill and everything needed to flip, poke, or grab for your grilling needs. All of this overlooking a beautiful stream you can see and hear right next to the cabin. On clear nights the stars and northern lights can be phenomenal to see as there isn't any light pollution for miles.

We enjoy this as our family cabin and hope that you will respect, enjoy, and care for it as much as we do. The cabin is meticulously cleaned after each stay, but we would greatly appreciate if you leave the cabin as you found it… clean. We are available for any questions or concerns and are happy to provide you with an informative summary of the cabin, amenities, or other information that would make your stay more satisfying.

Please consider the following before booking:

We do occasionally stop in to the cabin’s garage (located over 500 feet from the cabin with ample tree coverage for privacy) to perform maintenance on equipment, trails, or drop off some supplies. We will respect your privacy, but we still have to maintain the property when Mother Nature’s or our schedules allow.

This cabin is remote and has over 3 miles of forestry and private road. On occasion, with wet weather there can be some rutting in a couple of spots, so those with low clearance vehicles would be advised not to book this cabin. If you’re not sure, just contact us, we maintain the whole road. We will not be responsible for damage to your vehicle. Upon prior request and approval, we could transport you to the cabin in our vehicle or ATV.

Being an off-grid cabin supplied by solar/generator, please be conscious of electrical usage. Please shut off the lights to keep unnecessary usage to a minimum in order for us to keep our generation costs down and keep our footprint small.

The wildlife is wild here, and most of them are more afraid of you than you are of them, but remember, they are WILD and not domesticated! Yes, bears and other wildlife $h!t in the woods and occasionally on the driveway and yard. We also take every effort to minimize little critters from entering the buildings, we use traps and bait, but on rare occasions we do get a mouse or shrew. If you find this offensive, this isn’t the place for you.

Absolutely no ATV’s/UTV’s are allowed on the trail system; ATV’s/UTV’s must stay on your trailers if you bring them.

No coolers in the cabin. Coolers left in the enclosed porch for convenience must not leak. Any damage to the flooring will be charged accordingly.

We prefer you recycle as much as possible; this eliminates a lot of garbage. Being the cabin is so remote, we take care of the garbage. On extended stays, we will routinely stop by to pick it up.

There is no smoking indoors, including the porches or around the buildings. For those that do have a smoke, please do it outside and away from the buildings, and please dispose of your butts properly.

The cabin has a septic system that handles human wastes and toilet paper. Please do not flush anything else such as sanitary products or wipes; there is a trash receptacle in the bathroom for those items.

Absolutely no pets. Your terms of a responsible pet owner and mine may differ, and irresponsible owners and pets can cause thousands of dollars in damage. If a pet is found to be brought on the property, you will be required to leave immediately and the rental fee and deposit will be forfeited.

A fire-pit is available to use carefully and responsibly. There is kindling and fire wood for your use.

We do have limited outside chairs and seating on the deck, but for larger groups you may want to bring a few of your own.

No hunting or shooting firearms during your stay.

We understand that accidents happen. We ask that you please let us know when they do; we can probably fix them as effortlessly as possible, which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.

Please refrain from entering any outbuildings on the property (garage, shed, or pole building).

This house has a beautiful great room and view of the lake. There’s 113’ of shoreline to dip your toes . You can see Lake Superior from three sides of the building. Two 12’ x 12’ bedrooms in the back have lake and woods views. The 38’ x 25’ great room has views on all three sides. A large u-shaped couch allows everyone to watch the lake in comfort. The location is convenient with a good supermarket 3 miles away in Two Harbors and Betty's pies within walking distance. ATV and Snowmobile trails are within a mile. The Superior Hiking Trail is close, too. Essy access to the water makes kayaking and cannoeing convenient. It's easy to find adventures all around this location.

There is lots of wildlife to be seen on this property. Eagles are regularly sitting in the top of the pines overlooking the lake. Deer frequently go through the property and a grouse or two have been known to hang around. You won’t have a lack of things to look at.

This Lakehome is located at the Lakehomes at Superior Shores, a property adjacent but not affiliated with Superior Shores Resort, and offers wonderful views of Flood Bay. You are just steps away from water with natural rock beaches and ledges. Onsite amenities include a pool and hot tub (seasonal), walking trails, and a tennis / basketball court. This unit comes fully stocked and ready for your visit. As shown in the floor plan pictures, this Lakehome is a two bedroom single level unit with direct access to the shore from the deck. The unit offers three sleeping areas a private primary bedroom by the entry (king bed), a private bedroom with direct access to the deck (queen bed), and a queen sized convertible sofa in the living room. The unit contains a bathroom including a full tub / shower and a washer and dryer in the primary bedroom . A natural gas fireplace keeps the place cozy in the winter, ample windows allow a cool lake air breeze in the summer, and a mini-split AC/heat system in the family room. The spacious deck includes a grill and a patio table with seating for four. New for 2025: For more transparent pricing, there are no additional fees for cleaning or amenities.

Exciting News!: The unit is under new ownership and has undergone a significant upgrade including carpet, decorations, furniture, and refreshed amenities. Recently added mini-split AC in the living room for hot days. The unit has hi-speed Wi-Fi, Roku streaming televisions with guest mode. We are officially registered, licensed, and have been inspected by Lake County and have an up-to-date lodging license (#1644). Our Lake Home is a one bed one bath that is well suited for 1-4 people. The Living Room has full windows that showcase an unobstructed view of Lake Superior (start the fireplace and throw on a movie for added comfort). Head onto the patio for outdoor seating and direct lake access. The Dining Room and Kitchen both provide ample seating and lots of space to prepare and eat meals. The Bathroom has a nice walk-in shower, there is also a Whirlpool Jacuzzi in the Bedroom (perfect after excursions).

Feel the stress melt away at recently remodeled Lakeside Lair on Lake Superior. A lair is a secluded or hidden place, a hideaway, and that’s what this efficient one bedroom end-unit condo offers. With no upper or lower neighbors to disturb your peace and quiet it’s ideal for a single or couple seeking to be surrounded by nature. A short level walkway from the parking area just outside the condo provides easy access with no stairs. Enjoy the coastal Superior view from the large lakeside windows and deck looking up the North Shore out over Flood Bay. Relax in the fresh air on the very private deck which is perched high overlooking the waves and rocky shore below. Directly in front of the condo the shoreline is accessible by a railed stairway to the firepit located on the water’s edge.

A recliner, loveseat and dining table at the lakeside windows allow you to view the Lake or enjoy the TV and wood-burning fireplace in the high-ceiling living area. Because this is one of only ten units which have chosen to retain the original wood-burning fireplace, please be aware that guests must provide their own firewood to enjoy this feature. A king size bed and new walk-in shower ensure a comfortable stay. There is even a fully equipped open kitchen with a large prep peninsula tucked in a corner of the living area and the deck contains a grill and table for outdoor cooking and dining. Lakeside Lair may be small, but it’s specifically designed to be the perfect getaway place for one or two. Everything you need….and nothing you don’t.

There is also a full-service restaurant in the resort overlooking Flood Bay adjacent to The Lakehomes property. A mowed walking path running adjacent to Lakeside Lair takes you to the beach area of Flood Bay where another path leads you directly into the resort main building. Guests may also use the resort indoor pool by signing a waiver at the resort and paying a small fee.

The Lakehomes complex contains nearly 1/2 mile of shoreline, easily accessible at several points, and walking trails wind thru-out the property. The outdoor pool and spa are open late May to October and are located within walking distance of Lakeside Lair. Pickleball courts provide outdoor fun. Two Harbors with many restaurants, a grocery store and a new well-stocked liquor store is a short mile away. The 18 hole public Lakeview Golf Course is just across the highway.

Located just 10 minutes north of Two Harbors, you'll enjoy the convenience of being near town for grocery and coffee runs but also the true up-north, in-the-woods experience. The cottage is an 1,150 square foot two level home. The main level is open concept and contains a living room with smart TV and Room & Board queen sleeper sofa, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, dining space, and full size washer and dryer. The upstairs is an open loft area which contains a queen bed on one side and bunk beds (twin over full) on the other side. All mattresses are Tuft & Needle. Also upstairs, there is a full bathroom and workspace with desk and office chair. The upper level has a walkout patio and large windows, all showcasing incredible views of the valley and Lake Superior. There is extremely fast fiber optic internet throughout the property. Outside, you'll find a fire pit with surrounding chairs. Gökotta is a Swedish word that means "the act of rising early to greet the dawn, listen to birds, and to see the sun" which is precisely what we hope you'll appreciate doing at the cottage! - "Really cute place and would stay again. Clean and thoughtful decor. Sleeping spaces/options worked well for two adults and 2 young kids. They even had a couple of toys and games which our kids loved. A good launching place to explode the north shore. The only complaint is that cookware was pretty limited, few food storage items, and knives were poor quality. Might not matter if you’re eating out the whole time, but we enjoy cooking, so these items could be improved/replenished. I did request a nonstick pan, as the two there were in rough shape. They brought us a new one the next day. "
