Occasionally renters ask “why an additional nightly charge for each guest over the first two?” We are sure you understand , as with any household, additional residents add to the costs of operation. Scavenger services( charged by-the-bag), septic service( more pumping) ,laundry (sheets and towels) , utilities ( water, electricity) , cleaning services, general wear-and-tear and other overheads increase with the number of occupants. While most rentals are to groups of two, it would be unfair to price the basic nightly rate to prorate the additional costs associated with larger-group stays. Thank you for understanding.

Strap on your ski’s and you’ll be in a nice warm bar within 5 minutes:)

ATV's and Snowmobiles are welcome with plenty of on/off street parking.

Please advise in winter months so we can plow to accommodate your needs. In the winter months The city doesn’t allow vehicles to park on the street during evening & morning hrs.

- "Our family (2 adults, older teen and small dog) had a great vacation at this extremely private RV along the Ontogonan River. We lucked into some cooler August temperatures during our stay. While we only caught and released a "sunfish" (& saw other fish) and heard coyotes nearby (like, surrounding us?) the guest book mentioned catching sturgeon etc off the dock and sighting a bear during their stays. Wild turkeys peek into the campsite and run along the road leading to the campsite. The two evenings that had mosquitoes at the private dock were the best for fishing. We would return and perhaps ask friends to camp at the empty campsite on the property next time. The history museum and local restaurants are exceptional. The local grocery store is well stocked with all brands including organic and other specialty foods and water (we didn't like the taste of the potable water at the campsite). The RV is fully stocked with tons more necessities than a hotel kitchen. We wanted extra towels for our dog and for the RV floor for boots and found some at the huge dollar store near the grocery. If you have never stayed in an RV, you should stop into a dealership and do a walk through. The steps into this RV are steep and the door opens outward over the steps. Our vibes are a blend of outdoorsy inspired northwoods nostalgia balanced with some comforts you’d find at home (picture cozy linens, comfy beds, a rainfall style shower head, the crackle of a campfire under the stars, and a warm cup of coffee/tea). Hosting is so much more to us than just renting out our cabin. We strive to help create a memorable experience for our guests! A bit about our location: perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, we are situated along the banks of the Floodwood River, and we are a few miles from the public beach for Lake Superior access. During peak snow season, bring your sleds and ride (safely) along the shoulder of the highway to the trailhead (3mi)! If conditions are just right, you may even fall asleep to the sound of the waves of the big lake, or stay up late and catch a glimpse of the breathtaking dance of the northern lights! The cabin sits on serene 32 acres of private wooded property so you are welcome to explore, snowshoe (provided for guests in winter) and relax to your hearts content. We are located just a few miles from town, where you’ll find a selection of shops, groceries, gas as well as options for dining out (we reccommend The Squeeze!). We are also approx 20 miles away from Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park including Lake of the Clouds, all levels of hiking trails, waterfalls, beaches, cc and downhill skiing and more! There are plenty of nearby snowmobile, atv and hiking trails/UP adventure hotspots (Bond Falls, Agate Falls, etc. or take the ferry to Isle Royale) within an hour or so radius of the cabin; the possibilities are endless no matter what season you visit! Interior cabin amenities include: the main floor is wheelchair accessible, has a covered porch with spacious entryway, full bath with tile shower, petite yet well equipped kitchen and wet bar as well as a dining and living area. There are two queen beds, one on the main floor and one up in the loft, sleeping a total of 4 people. Upstairs, opposite the sleeping area, you’ll find a desk for creatives and a cozy reading nook. We have internet service for you to work remotely, but also encourage you to disconnect and take time to enjoy a hobby of yours or explore the outdoors! Speaking of outdoor space: Please be respectful our occasional animal visitors, including deer, hummingbirds, river beavers, and more! We have a firepit with chairs as well as a trail down to the river. There is a very large and level gravel area with plenty of room for parking and unloading trailers for those of you who are visiting us to snowmobile or ATV/side by side on the local trails! Indianhead Ironwood Hotel is located in Ironwood. Providing free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking motel features a sauna. At the motel, all rooms come with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Gogebic-Iron County Airport is 5 miles away.

CJ's "cabin" is located in the old mining town of White Pine. About 5 miles from the lake, it's the perfect base camp to explore the UP, hike the Porcupine Mountains, hunt agates on the beach or just relax. Most of the homes in White Pine were built as identical "company houses", but CJ's has been remodeled with raised ceilings and wood paneling for the rustic, cozy feel of a cabin retreat. The master sleeps two on a queen Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress. The small bedroom sleeps one and the foldout sofa in the living room sleeps two kids or one adult.

CJ's is just minutes from the Konteka Black Bear Lounge and snowmobile trails, and a short drive will take you on beautiful adventures exploring the Porcupine Mountains or to the beach. Please note: The property IS NOT on Lake Superior. White Pine is about a 5 minute drive from the lake.

If you want to stream and chill or game after exploring the area, we have 500 Mbps Internet with Roku and Sling, so just be sure to bring your login/password info for whatever apps you use.

Our mission is to provide you with the cleanest, coziest place to relax - a place that feels more like a home away from home than a rental. We have both a Keurig coffee machine and a drip pot. K-cups are provided. There is a new grill and propane is provided. Both the refrigerator and shower water are filtered and you don't have to worry about bringing your own shampoo or bath products; all the bedding and towels are new and we pride ourselves on fast communication to help you with whatever you need.

Located 5.6 mi from Whitecap Mountain Ski in Ironwood, Cedars Motel is located on the south shore of Lake Superior in Michigan. It features an outdoor seating area with a fire pit and picnic tables. The house features 2 bedrooms (one queen, two fulls) each with a 43” Smart TV and a queen, very comfortable, air mattress for the living room if you wish.

It features a private fenced in back yard with a large deck to relax on. Parking is available on the street, driveway, & garage. If you have large trailers that need to be stored for your stay, please let me know as our primary residence has a lot of space.

The Bee Hive is a centrally located, family friendly, newly remodeled 1930's home that is conveniently located in a residential neighborhood on a corner lot with walking access to local businesses.
Additional parking available on the side of the garage for multiple trailers for your snowmobile or UTV/ATV's or multiple vehicles. The house is only a couple blocks from trails for biking, walking, ATVs and snowmobiling, within 2 to 15 minutes from ski trails and ski hills, and only 20 minutes from Lake Superior beaches and waterfalls.

Enter the home through the breezeway that provides seating and enough room to store all your outdoor gear. Even use it to sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning. You will feel at peace inside with a clean, tidy atmosphere without clutter. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook during your stay and coffee and creamer is provided. The kitchen opens up to the living/dining area with an open concept feel. There are 2 bedrooms with black out curtains for the late sleeper. Relax in the living room and watch a movie on the Roku TV. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed perfect for the kids or adults. There are 2 seating options for dining which seat 6. The bathroom is stocked with towels, a hair dryer, and plenty of soap for your showering/bath needs. In the basement you will have access to a washer and dryer as well as laundry soap during your stay. Also included in the house is a pack-n-play, baby gate, changing pad/station, High chair, toys and books for kids as well as games. Local menu's and area tourist information is provided along with recommendations.
The outside of the property provides concord grape vines, mackintosh apples, black berries and raspberries for your enjoyment in season. You will love this home and feel at peace while you enjoy your stay.
