This is a two bedroom, four season lake home. It has a large extra room that we use as an extra living room and bunk house. Property sleeps 8. We have lots of kayaks and canoes so you can enjoy the lake and the rivers that runs in front of the home.. The Sunsets are breathtaking. We have a fire pit by the lake. 6 miles North of Winter and 23 Miles East of Hayward on Hwy. B

This would be a great place for a girls weekend, couples getaway, or a get away for a small family. We basically had our own lakefront island. There was a fire pit and plenty of wood. We are located directly on the snowmobile and ATV trail and offer ample parking for all of your vehicle and trailer needs. The Connors Lake park and boat landing are located within walking distance of the front door. If you tire of fishing Connors lake, the Lake of the Pines boat landing is less the a mile away for you to enjoy as well. Tens of thousands of state and county public access land surrounds the property for all of your hiking, hunting or wildlife viewing activities. All units are equipped with fully furnished kitchens. But, if you aren't feeling like cooking for yourself, the property is located right in between two popular local Bar/Restaurants (each less than a mile away).

Almost everything is here at the cabin - dishes, full size fridge, coffee maker, toaster oven, full bathroom, TV, VCR, DVD player, tons of movies and games. All you need to bring is your food and clothes. In regards to bedrooms, the cabin will sleep 4 comfortably. One bedroom has a queen size bed. Second bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin bed on top and a double bed on the bottom. Occupancy maximum is 5.

There is a nice fire pit outside located between the two cabins that is shared between the two cabins. There is a second fire pit next to the lake. Plenty of firewood is included with your rental but if you want a fire, please bring your own paper/newspaper/stuff to light a fire with.

For the lake, included are: rowboat, 2 paddle boats, 2 kayaks, a 2 person canoe, fishing equipment, life jackets, etc.There is a pontoon available for rent for $100/day from property owner. It is a wonderful way to spend time with this leisurely 8 mile trip which has some of the nicest scenery in the world and a good place to watch some Bald Eagles at play. Have all the privacy of a small quaint lake with the flexibility to spend the day in Hayward or Cable and do some shopping, golfing, or dining. - "The cabin was just as advertised except better! There is plenty of room and plenty of comfortable beds, a full kitchen and a modern bathroom. Even better, outside there are a screened-in porch, gas grill, picnic table, fire pit, free dry firewood, canoe, kayaks, paddleboats, row boat, dock, and even a small pontoon boot ($50/d). The cabin is right on the lake and there are great views from up at the cabin and down on the dock. The lake is gorgeous with not too many other cabins, an island with a rope swing, lillipads all around, warm clear water, and lots of fish to catch. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We'll be back for another few days of relaxing and fishing!"

There is a fun trail system #5, plan for lots of water holes all navigable. There is some great fishing outside your door, plan to bring some fishing rods. There is access to the Chippewa River for canoeing or kayaking, as well. Its worth planning for some activities ahead. We'll be back again and hope to ride the deadhorse trail system next time. The kitchen area has plenty of room for you to cook up delicious meals in and you’ll have plenty of countertop space to serve the meals on. Our kitchen comes fully stocked with all of the basic essentials and utensils that you may need. We also provide a coffee maker and microwave for you to use as well.

The living room area and dining room area are combined with multiple seating for you and your family or friends.

The bathroom has an average size shower and comes with two rolls of toilet paper and two rolls of paper towels.

Our cottage can sleep up to 7 people comfortably, with areas that can be turned into a few more sleeping arrangements if need be. There is a queen-sized bed, a single bed and a pull-out couch in the living room. Each bed has fresh linens, so you’ll feel right at home!
Check in at 4 pm please. A keyless entry code will be given to you the morning of your check in (text or call). Check out 10 am please. Welcome to your home away from home! Our one-bedroom, one-bathroom cozy cottage will make you and your guests never want to leave! We wanted the décor to be simple but also implement different patterns on the curtains and furniture to capture the eye.

The kitchen area has plenty of space to cook up those yummy meals for you and your family! We wanted it to be open and right near the bathroom for convenience! Don’t worry the countertop is spacious as well! We also provide all of the basic essentials and utensils that you may need!

The living room area has a comfy queen sofa sleeper, a mounted flat screen tv and a rocking chair right near the window! Picture yourself having your morning cup of coffee while enjoying the sun rays beaming on you!

Our cottage can sleep up to five people comfortably with a little extra space to squeeze in a few more people if needed! We have a queen size bed in the bedroom, a single bed in the living room and also the pull-out sofa sleeper in the living room as well. All beds have fresh linen too!

The bathroom is a tub/shower combination! We also provide two rolls of toilet paper, two rolls of paper towels and a basket of fresh wash cloths!

The space:
A long driveway leads you to this peaceful retreat on Perch Lake. It was originally built as a lake home in 1990. Then it was remodeled to what you see today. Bobbers Cabin includes a cozy living space with a gas fireplace and vaulted ceiling, a large kitchen with freestanding gas stove, two bedrooms with queen beds, a bathroom with washer/dryer, and an expansive deck. It’s a space that has been beautifully decorated by the cabin’s owners with uniquely designed objects, furniture, textiles, and art from the local area. A picture-perfect spot to unwind & reconnect.

Perch Lake is 129 acres in size, 24 ft deep, full recreation, and has Bass, Northern, Panfish, Musky, and Walleye - per the DNR! Very charming and nostalgic, this property perfectly depicts cabin life in Northwest Wisconsin. Start making your family memories at the lake!

Guest access:
Bobbers Cabin offers a private pier, two kayaks, two canoes, and a rowboat. When you request a booking, please inquire about this so that you're clear about what will be available to you during your visit.

The cabin is just minutes outside of the small town of Winter, which is surrounded by the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in northwest Wisconsin. Winter is a secluded destination offering exciting activities for friends and family during all four seasons. From numerous lakes and rivers for fishing, boating and water sports to hundreds of miles of snowmobile, ATV and hiking trails to quaint shopping and community festivals, Winter is the perfect place for an outdoor adventure with your favorite people.

Other things to note:
Bobbers Cabin is not for parties or events. Guests are limited to the 5 people staying there, unless separate arrangements are made to make sure your plans align with acceptable use. Out of respect for the residential community, this is not intended to be a "party house."

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you allow dogs? — YES! We are dog friendly, but do not allow cats or any other pets. The limit is two dogs, and we charge $25 per dog.

Can I check in early or check out late? — Since our cabin is usually booked back-to-back, and our cleaners need time to prepare the cabin for the next guest, unfortunately we cannot accommodate early check in or late check out. Occasionally we can get the cabin ready an hour or so early, and if that happens, we will let you know the day of. Please do NOT arrive early with plans to “hang out” until cleaning is finished. It only prolongs the cleaning and causes frustration.

Do you have a coffee maker, and do you supply coffee? — We do have a single serve Keurig. We try to supply K-cups, but recommend that you bring your own, as it’s very hard to keep stocked and many guests have preferred coffee.

Do you have a BBQ grill? — Yes, we have a propane BBQ on the back deck. We supply propane and utensils.

Does the cabin have air conditioning? - No, but the cement foundation and shaded tree cover keep the home naturally cool.

Get ready to relax in this 2-bedroom house just outside Loretta. This recently remodeled property features 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and a sofa bed perfect for a cozy getaway. We are conveniently located on Hwy 70. We are minutes from the Tuscobia Trail, 7 minutes from the town of Winter and 5 minutes from Loretta. We are close to several lakes and there are woods on 3 sides of the property. Try to catch a glimpse of the deer, turkey, grouse and other wildlife including bugs that may wander on or near the property(I would suggest bug spray for your outdoor activities in the warm months). We do NOT have WIFI available, we have no problem with our phone service, T-Mobile, Verizon. We do ask that guests take their trash and recycling with them when they leave. There is space to park your trailer if you are bringing your atv, small fishing boat or snowmobiles in the winter.

Bluegill Cabin is the quintessential northern Wisconsin cabin; cozy, private, with lots of rustic charm. Situated on nearly 2 acres of land and over 100 feet of lake frontage, there is something for every outdoor enthusiast! The lake is 26 acres of spring-fed clear water; perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking, floating, or watching the loons, turtles, and otters. This is a no-wake lake and motorized watercraft are prohibited, keeping our water and shoreline clean and pristine! (We provide PFDs, paddles, 4 kayaks, two paddle boards, a row-boat, and floating foam swim mat for your use.) For those looking for big water or water skiing, a boat launch into Fishtrap Lake is about a mile away, along with easy access to many other larger lakes and rivers in the area. Off the water, you will find access to the Chequamegon National Forest right across the street. Hikers and ATV users can access many miles of trail system within minutes of the cabin.

The main cabin was hand-built in the early 70’s, and is primitive but very functional and comfortable! The main cabin has two bedrooms, one and a half baths, dining area, and well-appointed full kitchen with all the gadgets you may need. The cabin is also well-stocked with board games, tv/dvd player (and movies) for rainy days. A full-size washer and dryer is also available for use during your stay.

High-speed Gig wi-fi included suitable for remote work and streaming your favorite content on the smart TV if you need it.

The garage on site can be used to store a boat or ATV during your visit.
