- "Especially the spa which had the best positioned jets I have ever experienced. " - "Bear Hug is a great place for 4-6 people. Unfortunately there was no extra sheets for the pull out bed. Also, the downstairs tub was plugged up each time someone showered which was pretty gross. Def needs to be cleaned out so the water can drain as you are showering. Aside from those items, everything else was great. I also liked that it is an end unit. Well stocked kitchen."

Ottawa National Forest (Henry Lake area) backwoods kayakers/explores dream. Enjoy numerous small lakes filled with pan fish and large mouth bass or just enjoy the quiet nature surrounding this national forest area. 10 miles

- "The place was clean and was very large. Had 2 bedrooms that we didn't need. It is out in the country and the basement of a residence. We didn't hear too much from upstairs except for the footsteps once in awhile. We let Clintopn know that the ceiling in the main bedroom was wet and he responded right away even though they were gone for a few days. Would try to stay there again if planning a vacation in that part of the UP." - "Highly recommend. The hosts were friendly and had great communication. Clean and well stocked. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has bunk beds, with a double and a twin. There is a second double in this bedroom
as well. The kitchen area has a new range, and dish washer, as well as a full sized refrigerator, with a freezer. A kitchen island is onsite, with bar stools for seating. The living room area has a 55 inch UHD Roku-ready TV,
and a combination Cassette/CD/FM radio/LP record player. There is a
queen-sized sleeper sofa futon, and chaise lounge for seating comfort.
The bathroom is a single bathroom, with a sink, shower, and tub.

The property is located directly on a snowmobile trail so there is no need to trailer your snowmobiles. Plenty of extra parking for your trailer and vehicles. The driveway is cleared for extra parking and trailer storage.
Skiers have a short walk to the lodge or an extra short drive. Blocks away from lifts!

Pet friendly as well.

The lodge also has a great restaurant and bar to relax after a great day in the snow. Also don't forget this area is known for the best 'powder' snow in the region.
It's almost a guarantee to have fresh powder daily
Keywords: Can sleep 7 comfortably. Total of 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom,

There is one fireplace with plenty of free firewood at the start of the season.
Advise: Bring kindling as this seems to be used first. Or another option is to bring a small hatchet.

The bed was hard as a rock and they don’t have good pillows so bring your own!! The place is really nicely decorated and has a full kitchen stocked with everything you would need. Our son snowboards and was so excited about being able to walk just a short way to the ski lift. The surrounding area is just beautiful and very peaceful. My husband and I were able to enjoy quite walks on the secluded road. Located just outside Wakefield and close to Ironwood Michigan, Black River Harbor Recreation area and the Porcupine Mountains. We were able to snowshoe in to see some amazing waterfalls! It was nice to get back to nature! The villa was very clean and cozy. Had everything we needed. Great view of the ski resort! Our host Pete was very accommodating and answered all our questions. He made sure the snow was plowed for parking and came down personally to introduce himself on our first night there. Would definitely stay here again! Had a fantastic time!"
